"Hm? What was that?" She hadn't caught what he had grumbled. But it was obvious he had grumbled something. Now she was getting even more curious.
"I dunno what has gotten into you Gabe but you are acting really weird right now." Her marshmallow had caught fire and she pulled it from the flames. Letting it burn and get all crispy before blowing the flames out with a few puffs of breath. Breaking off a piece of chocolate and snapping a graham cracker in half, she put together her smore and bit into the warm, melty treat.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Gabe said, and was surprised at how well he managed that. He was actually convinced that she had no idea where she'd sent his mind now, which meant that it was definitely best to just drop the whole subject and move on with having a pleasant evening. "Pass the graham crackers and chocolate?"

Pursing her lips again, a little bit of marshmallow stuff dribbled out from between her lips before she licked them. Her spidey senses were tingling. Woman's intuition? Who knew. And yet here he continued to go on about it. Claiming all and any denial.
Typical guy.
She handed over the chocolate bar and crackers suspiciously as she pulled out another marshmallow from the bag.

Gabe took the bag, giving her his best innocent/puzzled face. Totally confused by her suspicions, yup, that was how he was going to play it. He pulled off his marshmallow, waving it a bit to put it out, and then proceeded to make himself a s'more.
"Any plans for tomorrow besides fishing?" He asked casually.

After making and eating a second smore, she licked the stickiness off her fingers. Eyeballing him still the whole time.
"I figured we could also do a little hiking as well. There's some really nice trails around here. And caves for exploring that don't require the use of climbing gear. If you want to that is." She stretched her arms up above her head, giving a light groan as she did so.

Gabe blinked at her, eating his first s'more and pulling out a marshmallow to roast for his second. He'd decided that she hadn't meant to send his mind spiraling into dirty thoughts, so he was going to let it go.
"Sounds pretty fun," he said. "Hiking and caving and fishing? Should be a pretty great day."

"I hope so. As long as we don't fall into any precipices whilst in the caves. I'm not sure how well my phone works out here." Not that she was worried anything would happen. No. But there was always a chance for something to go wrong.
She hoped it wouldn't.
Leaning back on her elbows, she looked up at the stars. A small yawn crept out of no where.

"...I'm sure we'll be alright." He said. He wasn't all that concerned. Sure, they were trying to get away from the powered life, but if one of them was in danger...
Almost automatically, he reached out to put an arm around her shoulders. "About read to turn in?" He asked. "You sound sleepy."

She leaned against him, placing her head on his shoulder as she closed her eyes. Stifling a small yawn. They hadn't really done much today, but she supposed all that driving is what had made her tired.
Silly cars and their ability to make you sleepy.
"Yeaaaa I'm getting there for sure. Probably should turn in since we got a lot to do tomorrow."

"We'll want to be able to get up and get started early, right?" Gabe said, though he made no move to get up. This was a nice, comfortable position and really, why would he want to move when he could just sit here and hold his girlfriend?
Okay so sleep should probably happen but really, this was way better.

"Mmmm yea." She could stay like this forever. But the warmth of her sleeping bag called to her. Drowsily she pulled herself away from Gabe and headed towards the tent. "Put the fire out ok?"
Grabbing a battery powered lantern she slipped into the ten, zipping the door up quickly so no bugs would get in. Turning the lantern on, she began to change into her pjs. The casting a moving sillhouette of her against the tent's walls.

Gabe made a small sad noise when Vythica stood up. "Yeah, I'll get it out." He said, and then he frowned. He was genuinely not sure how to put it out. His first thought was water, but that would just make it harder in the morning, so his second thought, smother the oxygen...
He scooped up some dirt and dropped it on the fire, which put it out neatly. He grinned and dusted off his hands, then turned his attention to the tent. "Let me know when you're changed," he said. Didn't want to walk in on her or anything awkward like that.

Changing clothes was a cold endeavour. Vyth had changed super fast so that she wouldn't freeze her little butt off. Slipped on some warm boots and stepped outside in her pjs, her jacket wrapped tightly around her.
"I'm done your turn. Make it quick these pjs aren't the thickest thing to be wearing out here."

Gabe ducked into the tent and performed some very speedy changing. He didn't want to leave Vyth out in the cold for too long.
He stuck his head out. "Okay, all changed."

Vyth quickly clambered back inside, rubbing her arms as her teeth chattered slightly. As soon as it was dark and the fire out, the temperature in the camp seemed to drop drastically.
It was close to winter after all. So not unexpected.
"Brrrr!" Whipping off her coat, she quickly on rolled her sleeping back and crawled inside. Zipping it up high so to create a cocoon around her body to trap heat. She shivered a few times between yawns.
