She squeezed him tight. "No you're not. But nice try." Vyth wondered if everyone went through serious turmoil after taking a life. Would she feel the same? Or could she just shrug it off. Could she be that cold?
Lifting her head she leaned up to kiss his lips.
"I'm uh...still missing a shoe." Her foot was growing a little cold now and Vyth felt only slightly awkward with one heel on. Too bad powering down didn't replace lost articles of clothing.

Gabe let out a quiet sigh. He really wasn't, and he wasn't sure how long it would be before he was.
He kissed her back, probably not with as much enthusiasm as he might have under other circumstances.
And then she mentioned her shoe, and he actually started to laugh, a real laugh. It came so...out of nowhere, a small concern, that it was funny. He leaned down and kissed her, with quite a bit more enthusiasm than before. "Let's find that shoe of yours."

No matter how long it took Vyth would be there for him. He had taken a life for her. And to her that felt like one of those ultimate signs of love and devotion things. It was a bit overwhelming to say the least and not something she had expected on a 'second date'.
His more enthusiastic kiss caught her by surprise and she savored the feel of his lips against hers for that moment. Though his sudden laugh made her smile, at least he could still do that. The shoe wasn't that important but it was something to break the heaviness in the air.
"Yes, I rather like these shoes and would hate to loose it's partner." She wiggled the toes of her bare foot before unwrapping her arms from around him. Looking about for her long lost shoe.

Gabe was still laughing quietly as he went to search for the lost shoe. "That was really brave of you, throwing it at her like that," he said. It hadn't escaped him that he was the reason Vyth had transformed, compromised her identity.
He was pretty sure a lot of devotion had been thrown around tonight.
"Do you remember where it landed?" Seemed like the best idea, to start there.

Shoving her hands into her pockets Vyth leaned back slightly, looking up at the sky. "Yeaaaa well. I didn't have much else at my disposal at the time. Plus it was an unexpected move I'm sure. I don't throw my shoes just for anyone ya know."
Giving him a small smile, she blinked. Looking around once more. "Not entirely. It might have flew over in that direction when it bounced off that Senshi's face." Pointing with a finger, she awkwardly hobbled over towards a set of bushes. It was kind of dark and a bit hard to see.

Gabe looked over at her, smiling. "You saved my a**, really." This was the second time someone had henshin'd up to save him. He was starting to feel bad for that.
Gabe followed the direction she indicated. "Uh, would it be easier to walk if you took off your other shoe? That doesn't look comfortable." He suggested, combing the ground with his eyes for her shoe.

"And you returned the favor ten fold." She commented. If anyone had really saved someone's a** it was him. If the Senshi had gotten away well, Vyth would never have any peace in her civilian form.
Letting out a sigh, she pouted lightly. He had a point she had to admit. "But then both my feet will be dirty and cold." She didn't particularly enjoy walking around outside without shoes on unless the situation called for it. That and the pavement was a bit chilly since the weather had taken a turn. Even still, she reached down and took off her other shoe. Standing there with only her pantyhose to save her.
"Eh, I guess it'll be ok if we can't find it. It is kind of dark. Not the end of the world." And not her only pair of high heels though she did like this particular pair. Vyth could probably find the exact pair again at the store.

"So I guess at least we can call ourselves even on that front," he said. He was still sort of in shock over what he'd done. It had seemed so easy at the time, and he was really trying to put off thinking too hard about it lest he break down.
Gabe sighed. "But then you won't hurt yourself walking on one heel," he pointed out. For once, his logic was actually logical. Wondrous.
"Aaactually..." He took a few steps forward and lifted up a shoe. "I think I found it," he said, waving it at her.

She huffed lightly. Of course he would find it right as she had taken the other one off. Typical.
"Well it seems taking the other one off was kind of moot now wasn't it?" Vyth held out her hand for the other shoe as she took a few tentative steps towards him. She could feel tiny little rocks dig into the bottom of her feet but made no acknowledgement of them. "Thank you for finding it."

"I guess, yeah," he said, walking over to her and handing over the shoe. "You're welcome," he said.
Having a totally normal conversation with a dead body a few feet away. God, this was not what he signed up for when he agreed to be corrupted.

Vyth placed both shoes on the ground next to each other before slipping her feet back into them. Ahhh, shoes. At least now she wouldn't step on little rocks and bits of things that would bite into the bottom of her feet.
Now that the lost shoe had been found she turned to Gabe. "Should we go then?"

Gabe nodded. "Yeah, let's go, I should get you back to the dorms." He said. He reached out and took her hand, a slight smile on his face.
"And uh, let's go quick and try to stay away from any more trouble, yeah?"

"Agreed. I think I've had enough of an adventure for one evening." She squeezed his hand before starting the walk back towards the car. Someone would eventually find the Senshi's body and really Vyth didn't want to be hanging around when that happened.
She didn't feel like answering questions.

Gabe took one last glance back at the Senshi's prone body, and then turned and followed Vyth back to the car. He was definitely walking faster going back than he had going out. He didn't feel like answering questions any more than she did, and his paranoia assured him that somehow, some way, they would ferret him out as the killer.
He was conspicuously quiet the whole walk back.

When they finally got back to the car she stopped and turned to him. Wrapping her arms around him again in another hug. Noting how quiet he had been, but she really couldn't blame him for it. And there wasn't much else that she could say to lighten the mood of the situation which made her feel worse about it all. She didn't want Gabe to be upset.
