Finally he saw the bird. It was just sitting there outside the cages like it knew Danny was going to look like a fool looking for him. He landed and reput his pin threw it's worn hole. Then when he regained his fingers attached the backing securely. He then grabbed the bird who another student was also holding onto and tried to get it back into it's cage.

At least it WANTED to go back into it's cage. And without question it hopped in and chirped happily. Danny was so mad at it for making him take off his pin. Mind you he LIKED being in ghost form- but without his fingers and thumbs it seamed like part of him was missing.

As Kemnebi tried to shove the bird back into it's cage, another student grabbed it as well, quelling its struggles even further. Using teamwork, they put the bird back itno it's cage pretty easily. "Hey, thanks!" Kemnebi said, smiling at her helper. If that's Danny, he did go on the Valentines thing with Nebi.

Yin stopped by a bird filled booth, glancing about a bit. Sparrow...he knew Sparrow he thought. He really did not know enough about Sparrow to know if he should vote for him, though Yin was the type to eye free clothing with obvious want... His vote could probably be bought for the right price. That price being clothing that was not completely worn out. kurmato CHECKING OUT YOUR CANDIDATE.

A laugh escaped his throat. "Very true," he said, with a glance over at the birds. "I'm sure Copernicus is capable of staying put, but the three troublemakers over there..." He shook his head and grinned ruefully. "After the festival is over, I'll have to come and see you again."
He shook the zombie's hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Mort," said Sparrow cheerfully. "And I'm glad to hear you're also running for Student Council! I ran for Treasurer last year, but as you can see, I didn't manage to snag it. However, I'm positive about this year, so I hope for the best."
The smile flickered a little, and Sparrow clapped a hand on the boil's shoulder. "Well, just think of it this way," he said lightly. "Everyone knew you were the best candidate for the job, so no one dared run against you."
"And yes!" he said, with a nod. "I'm from the Scario Kart Club, although, er, I don't really do well in that sort of game, I was dragged there by a friend - but it's all right, it's a fun club, and Ren is rather nice. A bit loud, but nice. And I'm doing quite well now, thank you," Sparrow added, his expression softening a little. "Well. As good as to be expected," he amended. "How are you faring as of late?"
"Sparrow!"
A familiar voice caught his ear, and Sparrow turned around, catching sight of Xiu making her way towards them -
- except Balthazar chose that exact moment to try and run amok again and it took the baku the next several moments of struggling and a great deal of indignant squawking from Balthazar himself to get the bird back into its cage.
"Er," said Sparrow, a bit sheepishly. "Thanks. They, ah...well, let's just say they're not staying put as they should be. Here, er, have something for your troubles, darling - "
After getting Xiu settled, he grabbed her a pin as well and held it out to her, beaming.
"I would be honored if you would support me this year," he told her sincerely.
Distracted by Xiu and Mort, he didn't even notice that Balthazar had escaped yet again - or maybe he was just studiously ignoring that fact. After the birds were safely back into his cage, however, he turned to face the two who had caught him.
"Thank you very much for your hard work!" he said brightly, and then noticed another boil lingering near the edge of his booth.

"Indeed it is. Sparrow?" The boil's green gaze studied the reaper. He remembered him, he had been one of the first students he had met at Amityville. "You are running for the student council?"

Gene's first stop? The VP booths. She already knew who would be getting her votes for President and Public Relations, but the VP was still a bit on the fence. She'd taken a few pins off this particular booth earlier because they were pretty, but she really didn't know the candidate himself.
So, in typical Genevieve fashion, she walked up to him and handed him a cup of coffee she'd brought along just for this very occasion. "Sparrow, right? Tell me why you deserve my vote."
Outright and simple, just as it should be.

"I am indeed," replied Sparrow genially, with a smile at the boil. "It is always a pleasure to see you again, Yin."
A ghoul had stepped up, handing him what looked to be a cup of coffee, and taken slightly aback, Sparrow pushed aside his initial surprise and accepted, giving her a smile as well.
"Thank you," he told her, and then blinked, and added, without hesitation, "Because as Vice President of Amity, I would do my best to encourage more unity among the students. I've noticed that there is often a divide between newer and older students, and I would love to work with the rest of the student council to encourage more alliances and friendships among students."
He took a sip of the coffee, which was quite good, and then said, "I would love to be able to do more for the school. I've been here for almost three years now, and I would really love to be able to be more involved in things and in taking care of its students."

Gene smiled and nodded at his responses. Very good. Unity and community and banding together. She liked it, a lot.
"Very good; glad I picked up your buttons. Keep the mug. Bye!"
And like that, the ghoul was off to another booth.

"You sound like a good candidate," Yin said, unable to help eavesdropping on Sparrow and Miss Gene's conversation. "I shall certainly consider you."He then stared pointedly at the shirt again. Very, very pointedly. He was not just going to ask for a shirt. That would be rude. His gaze flicked to Sparrow. Then back to staring at the shirt.

"Thank you muchly!" Sparrow called cheerfully after the ghoul as she left, and waved before looking back at Yin. The smile widened.
"I appreciate that," he said genuinely, and then followed the boil's gaze to where it was - namely on one of the shirts. Sparrow lifted a brow, then turned back to Yin.
Then looked back at the shirt.
"Here," he said grandly, pulling one down and extending it towards the boil. "Why don't you take a shirt while you're here?"

Yin was beaming. Positively beaming. "Really? I can have one?" His razor sharp teeth shone as he took it from the boil. "I think you will be a fantastic vice president!" So much enthusiasm. So much. All it took was a bit of not-so-subtle hinting. kurmato Thank you for putting up with Yin OUO!
