Amelia was as much of a whirlwind as Tibarn was, spinning on her heel and slicing through a swordsman's throat as he approached her. The tip of a spear barely began to tear through the outside of her arm before she was able to deflect the blow with one gauntlet, and the lancer fell to the ground in a spray of blood. The amount of enemies she had to face as time passed, however, rapidly thinned with Tibarn's introduction to the scene. Unleashing hell upon the bandits was more than enough to cause them to turn tail and flee.
Her breath came in short pants when the pier finally cleared, sheathing her sword in order to free her hands. "That! Was amazing! You were ******** brilliant."
Amelia laughed sheepishly, wincing slightly as he manhandled the cut on her arm a bit, but otherwise was uninjured. "I'm fine, really, please don't w-- Oh." She glanced back at the two. "The redhead is Ewan. He's from-- from where I was before. Apparently he was there a lot longer than I was. The other guy is a-- I never got his name. He came with his crew to evacuate the remaining citizens. Seems like a good guy." She smiled sheepishly. "I mean, in general." She drew her lance off of her back again and moved over to Sunil, Ewan, and Tarr as Sunil departed in order to find Isadora and Leon.
After giving some direction to the soldiers still near the piers, directing some to search doubletime for any remaining bombs and the others to heal those that had been injured, Amelia turned her attention to Tarr. Ewan's healing prowess would get him fixed up to great condition, no problem. She smiled at the pirate, then held a hand out to him to help him to his feet. "Thank you. For the fighting and getting the rest of the citizens evacuated and all of that. I'm glad you arrived when you did." She chuckled sheepishly, then knelt down and picked up his cutlasses for him, holding them out for him to take. "I'm Amelia, in case I didn't say it before. You got a name I can call you or do I need to stick to indicative nicknames?"

Ewan Interesting, an entirely different language from what "Beroc", as he was told was the proper term, used. This seemed to be more of a guttural language, coming more from the chest, and without much Beroc inspiration. Most languages, as it stood, had various common elements that you could string together with enough knowledge to work on. Tones, phrases, and gestures were important things to pick up on, but this was something else entirely. Definitely worth a look into, on his spare time of course! All he could do for now was hold up an approving thumbs up, the meaning of the phrase having been successfully processed.
But to his luck, there wasn't a language barrier to work with when it came to the inhabitants of this world. (Which, to be honest, he was thankful for having been spared the indecency of having to run to and fro the town sprouting gibberish in his initial touchdown.) Which definitely helped with the "Good Guy" that had been sprawled over at his feet, which he certainly wasn't hesitating to assist. After all, one good deed deserves another, or something like that. He was pretty sure Emperor Vigarde said that...Maybe. But for now, there was a small bone to pick first. "Oh, I'll patch you up alright...But then it's straight to you, Miss 'General Amelia'. I know you have an image to keep up...But take care of yourself." His tone was that of annoyance, even with the thin layer of relief tailored underneath, but that soon passed as he directed his attention to his patient, with a small wave given Tibarn's way. As much as he wanted to greet the person who had taken care of Amelia the way that he had, he had a duty to fufill. And it was a big one!
"You did quite a fantastic deed here today, definitely something to raise a mug to tonight when we get you back to whichever camp you belong to. And we certainly will, sir."

~Valor is the contempt of death and pain.~Wallace Wallace, who had gotten very very lost, had fought his way through several houses of bandits and was currently in an empty house. He heard the sounds of battle outside the house and lifted his axe back up, "Once more into the fray."
After he had said that the General smashed the hinges off of the door to the street and kicked the door outward, stalking out of the house, "Now who wants to take a swing at me!?" The old, and rather battered looking by this point what with all the dents in his armor and the gashes he had recieved, general then noticed Amelia and Tibarn nearby and that there were no enemies alive in the immediate vicinity. He dropped his axe and leaned his back against a wall. "I'm getting too old for this sort of thing..."~So, I'm to die in battle, am I? I regret nothing! Ha ha ha...ha ha...~

Tarr stretched slowly as he felt the cool light from Ewan's staff mending his injuries beneath the flesh, and slowly grabbed his wrist, flexing it and sighing. "Thanks, mate," he murmured, climbing up and taking his sabers gratefully from Amelia and sheathed them on his hips.
Still, he didn't address her properly until he'd made his way to the piled-up dead bandits and dug through them a bit to find his hat, bloodstained and a bit crushed, and brushed it off, popped it rightside-out, and affixed it on his head before turning, bowing, and sweeping it off-- scattering blood against the nearby wall. "Mitchell Tarr, Captain of the Sevenmoon, scourge of the high seas, Pirate King of Learanian waters, et cetera, et cetera, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he said, grinning as he stood up and swung his hat back onto his head.
"Jokes aside, better late than never. You have my assistance at least until I have revenge on these sand-eaters for damaging my city."
Tibarn just crossed his arms, listening to all this with a general look of approval on his face. "We've lost a lot of our navy since Pentheus was taken. Pirates with a grudge are an edge we can use." He spoke from experience-- Tibarn himself had resorted to piracy against Begnion's navy. "What's your price, though?" He grinned. "I know Kilvas well enough to say pirates don't do things for free."
Tarr just smiled, reloading his crossbow. "I want a full pardon for myself and my crew. Flat fifty thousand for our assistance with an additional five thousand for any ships we take down for you." A pretty steep price. But cheaper and faster than building and crewing another ship.

Memories of a village long-lost came back to her as Tarr spoke. She shook it off wordlessly, re-shouldering the strap that held her bow to her back as she approached him. She cast a glance over at Tibarn, then back to Tarr. They needed the help. They really needed the help. And she knew just as well as anyone else that extra manpower was always appreciated, assuming the leadership to keep those numbers moving in the right direction was also present. She reached up with one hand and swept her blond fringe away from her bright green eyes. With all of the blood splattered across her breastplate, up her neck, even some on her face, the green and gold only stood out even more than usual.
"Deal." She grinned, then cast a brief look over at Tibarn before facing Tarr again. "Five thousand per enemy flag you bring back. I trust with your skills, your crew's got to measure up, so I look forward to you and your crew attempting to casually bankrupt us." She took a few more easy steps and held out a hand for him to take. "Want t'follow us along, then, if most of your crew is on the water with the rest of the citizens?" Amelia glanced towards the center of town as the clock tower tolled the hour, eyes narrowing. "We've still got some vermin to exterminate."
She turned her attention to Ewan for a moment, offering him a warm smile before gesturing for him to come closer, expression darkening as she grew serious again. Asserting superiority and assuming leadership positions got easier, little by little, every time she did it. Sometimes she could barely remember when doing such things was difficult. "Ewan, go heal Wallace right quick, if you could. Sunil went to find Isadora and Leon. If they haven't reported back, we can only assume the worst has happened and they're in trouble, which means we need to locate them, too. And we can't wait for Sunil to just bring them back. We need to move." She started down the boardwalk, heading towards the main streets again, with her lance at the ready. "Center of town hasn't been thoroughly checked yet, everyone's been moving around the outer areas, and it'll be easier to reach and locate them from. Let's move!"

As soon as Kieran threw the first punch and Calill Elfired the bandit after the high-voiced man’s speech, everyone began to fight as if they were in a bar fight. Isadora swung her shield as the bandit readied to slash her. After slapping the bandit’s face with her shield, she stabbed the bandit in the stomach before kicking him to pull her sword out of him.
“Dispatch all but one enemy!” Isadora shouted the order. “We need to know where the rest of the bombs’ locations are!”
She wasn’t sure if all the enemies knew where the bombs were hidden in the destroyed building. But if they knew where, it would be convenient for them to find the rest and detonate the bombs. She just hoped that one enemy would cooperate with them to tell them and not keeping information from them.
As the paladin blocked the bandit’s attack with her shield, she heard the red-haired knight shouted something to Miss Calill. Huh, it sounded like these two knew each other. Although it was nice to have someone from her world help Calill settled in Learania, there was a bigger issue to deal.
Isadora pushed her shield to throw the bandit’s balance off before cutting him down with her sword. She then moved closer to Calill as she eyed any enemies coming toward them.
“Miss Calill, when we’re done dealing with the enemies, I need you to heal your friend. He was injured when I found him and just went off to battle after I told him to retreat and heal his injuries. But for now, I need you to use your magic to prevent any enemy from lighting that bomb.”
The Dame Knight lowered her shield as the bandit charged toward her. When the bandit came close enough, she quickly put her other hand against the lower section of her shield and raised it up to flip the bandit over her body. Once the bandit was lying on the ground, she stumped her foot against the bandit’s head before stabbing him in the heart.
As Isadora battled, she wondered what happened to the others. Were Leon, Wallace, and Sain okay? Did they detonate the bombs? What about Amelia and Ewan? Did they survive the explosion? Did Tibarn know what happened to the city? When were Vaida and brigade going to come to reinforce them? There were so many questions to answer, but so little time to deal. She hoped that things would become easier for them.
“I see yer five an’ raise it ta ten.” One of the bandits said as he placed gold coins onto the table. Although the group of bandits was playing poker in the middle of the exploding battleground, it was their job to deceit the enemy of the bombs. There were few booby traps planted in the city to fool those Learania that they had the bombs readied to explode, just to delay them. Sitting across the room from them was a terrible makeshift of a bomb. It would take an idiot to believe that the fake was real.
“Hit me.” The other bandit said as he placed two cards down. But before he could get his two new cards, the front door flew, breaking the hinges off the wall, and hit the bandit from behind. Bandits quickly rose out of their seats, surprised by what happened. They grabbed their weapons from the ground and looked at the intruder who bashed through the door.
Crutching in front of the open entrance was Rajin as he stared at what in front of him. Enemies readied their weapons… Oh, and one guy lying on the table, being knocked out cold by the door he just kicked. On the table, beside the unconscious bandit, were cards and coins. If there wasn’t a battlefield and exploding bombs going on, the tiger would have just casually walk up to them and said “Mind if I cut in?” to play. But sadly, those were the enemies. Not casual strangers you met at the bar. The one thing Rajin could think about in this situation was-
s**t.
A bright light flashed inside the building, following by angry battle cries and roar of a tiger. There were screams of pain and death echoed inside the building. Furniture were being destroyed as the battle continued fighting ( The ******** is this piece of s**t? A hookah or something? Rajin quickly looked at the makeshift bomb.)
After slashing the bandit across the face, Rajin made a quick escape from the building. Damnit! Where is that cat?! Rajin thought annoyingly as he ran.
A loud explosion was heard across the distance, but it was loud enough for the tiger’s ears to clinch. He hoped no one got hurt from that explosion. This city was still too dangerous for anyone inside the city’s wall.
Curious if the bandits were following him, Rajin turned his head behind to look. Unfortunately, he didn’t notice that he was heading toward the same building where Sain was currently fighting.

Running around at the speed of sound; Got places to go got to follow my -- Oh, there they are.
Sunil was running through the streets, cutting through bandits like they were paper while following Isadora and Leon's scents. He soon stumbled upon them and several others having what appeared to be a fistfight against several bandits. Well, okay, not really a fistfight. The heavy-looking Beorc looked like he had a book somewhere. Well, he found his objective. This would probably explain why they were taking so long to come back. There was only one way to get them moving again.
With the force of a great typhoon, Sunil tore into that skirmish. He was eager to wrap things up here and get the party back together.

KIERAN The shadow guild member could see Kieran's attack a mile away, with all the shouting he was doing. Nimbly he stepped out of the way and forgot that with the counter top embedded in Kieran's axe it's width was slightly larger then it looked. The wood shattered around the axe, sending splinters flying as the thief crashed into the ground, head twisted at an awkward angle. From his position it's uncertain whether or not his neck is broken CALILL At first the bandits in the scuffle had been largely ignoring the pretty woman in heels, dismissing her as some noblewoman who wasn't a threat, however after seeing his friend's head barbecued, one of the bandits charged at her his axe raised high over his head. He swung it down at her with more gusto then skill. ISADORA & SUNIL Correctly identifying her as the woman in charge the last bandit besides the one attacking Calill to still be on his feet had been keeping his distance, however bandits are a notoriously opportunistic lot and when Isadora turned away to finish off the bandit she'd knocked down, he charged at her, his axe swung down towards her unprotected backside... and then a second later he was gone, axe flying harmlessly to the side as Sunil slammed into him.

"BOM-"
The words were cut short as an explosion was set off in a nearby building Alex was at. He slammed his hands into the wall as the bowmen from his squad was taken by the bomb.
"Keep Searching!" he yelled to the rest of his squad that slightly paused from the explosion or were hiding from the bomb and debris that flew everywhere. No time to mourn for the dead. Keep moving and press forward. These words were repeating in his head as he continued searching the top floor of the building he was in.
"All clear in here!" he relayed to his squad downstairs as he turned around to go back down the stairs. Other members in his squad relayed the same message as they were checking other nearby buildings.
"Incoming!" one of them pointed from a windows in the taller buildings. Alex quickly slid down the stairs to a window, an arrow already prepared on his bow into the direction they were spotted in. An arrow zipped through the air from behind him as it struck one of the enemy bandits down. Following suit, Alex let loose his arrow too. There weren't that many enemy bandits so the battle quickly ended as the archers hidden in the buildings took down the brigands.
"Alright, let's keep moving," he ordered, leaping out of the window and down the street.
Alex and his squad had been searching for and sort of bombs or traps for a while now. They managed to stop some from setting off, but also lost a fair number of members to bombs and to enemy attacks during the search. At this point he wasn't sure how everyone else in the whole city was doing. He could only hope things were going fine.
They continued searching for bombs, but eventually they unknowingly ended up near the docks. At that same moment he sees a soldiers running by. "Hey soldier, what's the current situation," he asked, after he got the soldier's attention.
Alex patted the soldier on the shoulder after he gave him the update. "Thank's a bunch, now where's General Amelia?" he asked right after. The soldier quickly pointed towards her and Alex gave a small salute to the soldier as he ran towards her.
"Amelia!" getting her attention as he closed in on her.
"What're your orders."

Did Miss Calill stop the bandits from lighting the bomb? Did the bandits light the bomb while they were fighting? The paladin wasn't sure, but what she did know was that they needed to stop the bombs from exploding.
As the Dame Knight gave another whack to the skull with her shield, she heard a loud yelp from behind. Turning around, she saw an axe falling to the ground behind her.
"What the..." Isadora muttered confused. As she looked around, she spotted a cat on top of an unarmed bandit. Where did that cat come from?!
She wasn't sure what just happened, but somehow that cat looked quite familiar. Was he the cat that asked Amelia which group he should follow early? Maybe he was that laguz or maybe he wasn't. However, she was grateful that he saved her from being attacked.
"Thank you for watching my back!" Isadora said as she walked toward the cat. "If you hadn't come, I would have been dead by now."
The Dame Knight looked around the room. Judging by what was going on, it seemed that the fight was about to be over. However, time was wasting if they didn't hurry.
"Did Tibarn and the reinforcement came to the city and know about the bombs?" She questioned the cat. If Tibarn and the other knew, then that would help them very much to stop the city from exploding. After all, with the laguz' great sense of hearing, smell, and sight, it was for sure they would be able to find the bombs much quicker and flush out the scoundrels lurking in the city. However, it was quite unknown how many bombs were planted in Pentheus.
Curious if the bandit was willing to spill out the information, Isadora looked at the bandit that Sunil pounced. Unfortunately, it seemed that the bandit was knocked out cold by the cat's force, getting a hard blow to the head... She wondered if any one of them ever carried the smelling salt on them.

Sain Ladies how about a lovely dinner? Sain couldn't believe how well he did in taking out the bandits despite the handicap he had. He wiped the sweat off his forehead.
"Good thing I did learn how to fight dismounted," He said walking out of the building. "No bomb there, but it was a good decoy. Good thing I was the only one who decided to go here."
As he was getting back on Homeros, Sain noticed something in the distance. He was a bit confused at what he was seeing. Though he paled a bit once he noticed what he was.
"Is that, is that a tiger!?" He yelled, "I don't know how to fight a tiger! And why is it's fur black and red!?" The poor Paladin didn't know that the tiger was Rajin and was an ally. He pulled out a fresh lance, but stayed where he was. After all I am a noble knight of Caelin!

Not taking any chances, the moment after Sunil had taken down the bandit that had threatened Isadora he had already jumped towards the one charging Calill. He sunk his fangs into the bandit's weapon arm and used the momentum of the leap to pull the bandit down before the female Sage. From that position, he swung his right paw around into the bandit's face with enough force to bend him at an awkward angle (since he was still holding onto his arm after bringing him down to his knees) and leave deep claw marks across his face. Then he started running in the opposite direction, dragging the bandit away from Calill and the weapon he had dropped. When the bandit tried to grab him, he just bit deeper into the arm to show that he would not tolerate resistance.
If Sunil really wanted to, he could bite down to the bone. If that wasn't enough, he could always try to crush it. His jaws weren't as strong as the other Beasts because of his race, but gods damn it all will he try.
The bandit was dragged back towards Isadora (the blue cat didn't really bother making sure the bandit didn't hit obstacles. Hell, it would probably make him resist less or something) before the feline let go and shifted back to his humanoid form. He was more red than blue from the enemy blood spilled from previous fights.
"Tibbers and Amelia were wondering where you guys were, so they sent me out to find you. I didn't think you would have this much trouble though. We're supposed to start regrouping near the piers." he replied to answer her question, planting his foot on the bandit's good hand so that he wouldn't get any funny ideas.
Isadora and others found. Enemies in the immediate area routed. Mission accomplished?
"Hm. Are we missing anyone?"
Better to be safe than sorry.

ERRYBODY IN THE PLACE SAY DAY-OH... DAAAAYOH
The bandit rushing for Calill never even saw the cat use his friend as a springboard, so intent on his victim that he didn't even hear his friend hit the floor with a muffled thump. He had time to scream however as the cat landed on him. "W-Wait d-don'---- AHHHHHHHHH" his plees became a howling scream of pain and fear as Sunil raked his claws into his face. The claw marks didn't so much as slice through his face as they did rip, leaving four deep gashes with ragged bits of flesh hanging off and inbetween them. Worse the claws had gone starting on the left top side of his head at the hairline and went to the bottom right of his jaw, taking most of his nose and dislodging an eye which now hung mangled from it's stem.
He tried to cover his face as he screamed in agony in a desperate attempt to put his eye back in but Sunil denied him that by holding him by the arm and dragging him, resorting to babbling nonsense and wailing for his mother when the cat shifted back and planted a foot on his hand, preventing him from covering his injuries.
Isadora
The unconscious bandit hears Isadora talking and immediately starts snoring in order to desperately try to convince her that he's not faking it and wont be waking up anytime soon. He also mutters something about how shapely her legs look from down here.

Kieran smiled as the thief he'd hit went down. "HA! SCOUNDREL! FEEL THE MIGHTY KIERANS JUSTICE!" He said as he landed, wheeling around to see who was his next opponent, only to find they were all dead or knocked out save one who was screaming and trying to clutch his face. The fight was over, tension fleeing from his body Kieran sighed, hefting his axe on his shoulder.
"Alright! We got em, now we need to find the other bombs." the paladin gently nudged the bandit he'd knocked out with his toe. "I'll bring this guy over here so we can have a chat with him and his friend!" he shouted over the living bandits wailing.
As the others began to deal with the other two bandits, Kieran leaned his axe against the countertop bent down to pick up the shadow guild member. Hefting him over his shoulder, and turning around to deposit him on top of the stores counter. "So!" He said, planting his hands over the counter top and leaning over the knocked out bandit. "How do we go about waking these fella's up?" Kieran was looking towards Izzy, so he never saw the thief's eyes fly open, nor did he see the sudden dagger that had been concealed in the guild members sleeve rushing up towards his unprotected neck.

The only reaction he had to her command was a quick step back, somewhat unnerved by her sudden change from the friend that he knew to a military commander. Right...She wasn't just Amelia anymore. They weren't fresh-recruits anymore. She was more than capable of taking care of herself, especially with the responsibility she had to live up to. A thumbs up was given her way before making his way to the one that had been identified as Wallace, holding up his staff as an indicator of who he was.
"Careful there now, try not to move too much. You've been giving quite the slamming from the look of you. Let's get you patched up so you can keep up the pace."
Once more the aura from the tip of his staff traveled alongside his target's body, mending bruises and cuts, bringing relief to his tired bones and aches, before being placed back into his holster. From the look of it, only a few more chargers remained on it. "Have to pick up another if I see it..." Ewan muttered mostly to himself before lightly tapping the General's chestplate with his knuckle. "There we go, nothing's gonna take you down now, so let's get back into the fray! We need a Titan out there like you." He gave Wallace a tip of his hat and sprinted to return to his position within Amelia's troops.
