Strolling into the academy, Iwao pulled out his bloodline scroll he kept in his bag and read through it. As he kept reading, he realized there was a point where it kind of stuck. Messing with it for a bit, he managed to unstick it and found the previously hidden portion of the scroll that had the most powerful form of the Jiton bloodline. Reading it he pulled out a few shuriken he had packed away and tossed them out on the ground. Focusing on them, he began trying to lift them with his Jiton, but wasn’t having any luck.
Still trying to lift the shuriken, Iwao focused harder, tapping into his magnetic manipulations as much as he could, but was still having a hard time. As he kept trying, he started to feel like he was pulling metal up slightly from underground rather than affecting the shuriken. The more he kept trying , the more he just felt iron sand around him moving.
Stopping for a second and wiping some sweat off his forehead, Iwao took a breath and did his best to block out everything around him but a single shuriken. Holding his hand out towards it and motioning for it to rise, the giant of a satetsu user tried to make the small projectile move. He was getting slightly frustrated, both with the jutsu and himself for how difficult this was being, but figured it as the most powerful part of his bloodline, it wasn’t that surprising.
Still focusing on the one shuriken, Iwao focused on his raiton chakra, trying to circulate it rapidly to create more magnetic field. He was just used to manipulating tons of tiny particles, where no single bit took much to move. Kneeling down, he held his hand closer to the object, trying to magnetize the shuriken. After a few more minutes of focus, the shuriken twitch slightly. It wasn’t much, but it was progress, so Iwao was slightly happier.
Standing back up, Iwao concentrated his attention even more on the shuriken he had managed to make twitch, telling it to rise off the ground a few inches. After another minute or so of struggle, the shuriken began to wobble and shakily rose an inch or two off the ground. Smiling a bit, he kept fighting with the projectile, making it slowly rise up to about his hip height. After holding it at that height, he tried to launch it at a dummy a few feet around, but it only went maybe 6 inches before falling to the ground.
Holding his hand out over the shuriken again, he focused his chakra on generating a more powerful magnetic field to magnetize the weapon. After a minute or so, he felt like the weapon had synced with his magnetic field. He raised his hand, bring the shuriken with him, floating a few inches below his palm. Twitching his palm slightly, he got the projectile spinning in the air. Keeping it spinning, Iwao whipped his arm to try launching the shuriken again, sending it flying across the room this time, lodging it in a dummy.
Concentrating on a few more of the shuriken he’d laid out, Iwao held out his hands as as the next couple shuriken lifted off the ground and drifted towards his palms. Twitching his hands sideways, he got the two projectiles spinning rapidly. With a quick pulse of each palm, he sent these two flying across the room too, both lodging in the dummy.
Concentrating more, Iwao reached out with his magnetic fields, grabbing the rest of his shuriken, five or six in total, and brought them to hover around his hands. Concentrating and fluctuating his fields, the shuriken all began spinning rapidly. With a thought, Iwao traced out their trajectories towards the dummy and watched as the shuriken all flew towards their target.
Having run out of projectiles for now, Iwao focused on the iron sand he kept with him. Reaching into it with his magnetic fields, He raised his hand, and saw the sand rise to meet it. He swung his arm in an arc and watched the sand move right along with it like nothing. After a while of moving with the sand, Iwao looked at another dummy, and held his arm out towards it. The iron sands rushed forward like soldiers ordered to charge and surrounded the dummy completely. Clenching his fist tightly, the sand implodes, crushing the dummy.
Feeling like he was getting the hang of this new ability, Iwao concentrated and pushed outward with his magnetic fields as he also thought of his sands rising into the air to orbit in bands around him. Opening his eyes, Iwao looked around. There were several rings of iron sand orbiting his body, and as he glanced down, he was levitating about ten feet in the air. Concentrating on this feeling, he realized what he was doing: he was repelling, and riding the magnetic field of the Earth itself!

Circe popped into the academy and folded her umbrella. She always used it to keep the sun off of her skin. It provided a small amount of respite from the desert heat. She went and sat at a table, no idea where to begin in all honesty. She stole a sheet of paper from the stack she was next to and started folding it by hand into various shapes. "How does mother get this to work..." she muttered under her breath.

Kimmiko entered the academy within moments. Making her way right to the young Genin girl. Looking her over she smiled feeling happy to actually being able to teach someone her own jutsu. Placing her hand on the young girls shoulder she noticed her playing with the paper. "Let me help you. I think I know what you are doing wrong." As she then stepped back with a sheet of paper as she put just a little bit of chakra into her hand making a Origami swan with it. Looking at the young girl she nodded. "Just a little bit of focus and chakra and it could be simple. I have faith in you." She then turned and went onto the next technique Holding out her other arm she used just a little bit of chakra to turn her arm into a blade of paper amazingly thin yet sharp. She really enjoyed showing off in front of this Genin."By the way the name is Kimmiko, Whats yours?" She was trying to also make small talk while training the genin.

The girl jumped slightly from the hand suddenly on her shoulder but she quickly called down. The girls voice wasn't hostile. She was having a terrible day in that regard. She watched the person fold the paper with their chakra without any effort at all. She just pushed her own chakra into the paper to do the same. She forced it to roll up into a thin needle like piece, so tight it seemed to be seamless. She smiled and picked it up to examine closer. "Im Circe. Nice to meet you Kimmiko" She said showing her the object somewhat happy. "Youd think my folks would have shown me this basic stuff at some point huh?" She said dropping it on the table and trying to hold it up through her chakra. It would hover on its tip, perfectly balanced on the table, slowly spinning.

Watching the girl she nodded. "Keep going you have a lot of techniques that can help you out." As she then showed her a few more techniques from the bloodline. "Just keep training you will get it." She then went on with more techniques showing that there was many different things she could do with her paper-like body. Her body then went thin as paper hiding her body.

Circe nodded a few times and shut her eyes, remembering her famlies practices. She had a good grasp on chakra and a fairly good teacher sitting here. With that said, it should be nothing to grasp all of the basics that she could of her families lineage. This being said she pulsed her chakra through her body and focused on her size. She shrunk herself to a few milimeters instantly. (I did the math! One post for all jutsu i can learn from my clan....YAY!)
She smiled and shut her eyes to return to her full size. The next jutsu on her list was a clone technique. Paper clones in fact. A simple flash of handseals and one was formed next to her. It moved over to another table, picked up the paper from there and brought it to her, dropping it on the table. ( again yay!)
She formed a few more seals and the clone burst into several sheets of paper that curled into shuriken. With a flick of her hand she sent them spiraling through the air into the wall. She winced after a few moments at the realization that she might be charged for damages to the wall. (whoooo.....yay...)
The whole paper getting wet thing was a no brainer. She just applied a layer of water resistance to them via her chakra. She let moisture just slide right off easy enough. But that wasnt what she was looking forward to. These were all somewhat sublime in her mind. With a change of her hand she formed them into fluttering butterflies. With the right paper and folds she could probably use them as spies. She smiled as one fluttered out the door and disappeared. "Neat! (3 in one!)
The next technique she remembered was a concealment technique. She focused her chakra and her body started to fold in a complex shape. She let out a breath as the paper formed into the shape of the chair she was sitting in. 'hmmm....rather useful actually. I can hide!' She thought to herself as she unfolded in front of her trainer. (bam!)
A quick flick of her wrist and she sent the paper to the center of the table, a small localized swirl that rotated as a miniture tornado that she made for safety reasons. She did not want to tear up the academy after all.
She shut the jutsu down finally and noted the spiral pattern of burns it left on the desk. She examined it for a moment before looking back at her teacher. "Well I guess thats about all the things I can learn from our families until I get a little better. Should I be focusing on something in specific?" She asked curiously.

Kimmiko smiled delighted to see that the girl had taken the time to learn a good bit of jutsu. She then looked her over a few times and smiled. "Care to learn a few wind techniques? They might come in hand later on." As she then turned setting up a dummy across the room, wiring it up so it would throw kunai at her when she was ready. Looking over at the genin again she nodded as in to say just watch this. Taking hold of one of her own kunai she made the dummy toss a kunai at her and deflected it with ease with the kunai."See that is simple enough right? Now think if you didn't have a kunai there it would of sucked. Well I got a jutsu just for you that would be helpful."As she then made the dummy toss another two kunai at her using her wind chakra she diverted the kunai away from her with just the smallest amount of wind to knock it off its course and sink deep into the floor.
Looking the girl over she giggled."It shouldn't be hard to do, pretty self explanatory really. just focus on where the projectiles are coming from and use your wind chakra to just bat it away like as if you were using a kunai, but instead its a bit of wind instead of a weapon." She stepped aside motioning with her hand for the young genin girl to take her spot across from the dummy showing her how it all worked and what to do. Standing off to the side she crossed her arms waiting and watching the girl. Kimmiko enjoyed helping others make themselves better, she felt she was doing a great service to her village by teaching this genin jutsu.

Circe had somewhat of a long way to go but not very far in the jutsu path at the moment. She could learn a fair bit but its not like she was specialized in her jutsu. That being said, wind wasnt a bad idea to gain. She recognized the jutsu used as the gale surge. A simplistic technique of rather low level, she would be able to accomplish this with a little effort. The jutsu involved distilling the air on one side of her and making it burst at the right time. She pushed her chakra through and made it pop audibly next to her, knocking a pencil flying through the air in the academy. "Those arent too hard. Im not really sure what I want to learn. Thank you for helping me." She said quite calmly.
With the basic technique of the new part of his bloodline mastered, Iwao concentrated his charka. There was apparently a way to pull up heavier metals by combining his iron sand creation with the magnetizing jutsu he’d just learned. Concentrating, he reached deep into the ground with his chakra and magnetic field. Searching underground, he tried to find something other than basic iron, but wasn’t able to pick up anything.
Trying again, Iwao reached deep into the ground with his magnetic field, searching again for metals. After a bit of searching, he felt something begin to react to the magnetization, and tried to pull it up. After a minute or so of pulling, he wasn’t able to get it to move much, it felt a lot heavier than his iron sand.
Reaching into the ground with the magnetic field again, Iwao tried to get under the metal to push it up as well. After some thought, he had an idea, why not use the Earth’s field to help him? Tapping into the planet’s magnetic field along with his own jutsu, Iwao got a good hold of the metal he’d found and ripped it from the Earth, seeing a plume of gold, silver and platinum sands spew from the floor
Now Iwao felt a need to figure something to do with his new sand. Floating it into the air, he began swirling it around, partitioning small sections and compressing them. After a little while, he had dozens of small gold, silver, and platinum cubes floating in front of him.
Watching his shiny metal cubes float in front of him, Iwao thought of another shape. After a few minutes, the cubes has reshaped into spheres. Focusing harder, Iwao watched the sphere’s shrink as they compacted, becoming denser.
Now that he had a feel for basic shape manipulations with the new sand, Iwao wanted to try something a little more complicated. Thinking of the shape of his shuriken, he slowly shifted the shape of the gold, silver and platinum spheres into that of shuriken. Once they had been formed, he got them spinning as he whipped them towards a line of training dummies. Iwao smiled slightly as the shining precious metal shuriken flew towards their target and struck home.

Kimmiko nodded understanding that the girl probably was just overwhelmed with all the jutsu's she could learn and just had no idea what to start with. She then spoke while rubbing the back of her head. "You can just start simple with certain skills that could help you either defensively." As she then coated herself in a wind armor without much effort releasing it as soon as she made it. "Or you could do something more offensive that could do damage to others. Or even a bit of both ya know just to have a bit of both. Why wouldn't you want more right?" As she then shot off a ball of wind chakra at the dummy hitting it dead on watching as it snapped the wooden dummy in half. Looking back at the genin she waited to see which she would learn first. Or if she would learn both of them either way she was ok with it.
Circe thought long and hard about her words. She looked over the text before her, moving from page to page, cover to cover on a few of them. She would be silent for nearly a half hour before sighing gentle and hanging her head slightly. "Lets face it, certain things just arent going to work if things like anxiety and fear are in play with me. Are there any jutsu around that can suppress these? Or possibly amplify them to be used in such ways like a weapon?" She asked her quietly. She flipped through a book on sound and stopped on a page involving a technique which utilized ones scream to push targets away and potentially disable them. It was said to also work on projectiles. She worked her chakra into her vocal chords, getting a feel for it but she wouldnt scream inside here. That was just rude. She swirled the chakra around instead, shutting her eyes and just feeling for the possibilities. She smiled when she felt it click just right inside her and her chakra hold in place. "Well...Got one down.." She said happily, more to herself than anyone in specific.
She pulled the next piece of paper out with a bit of a smile. It would seem that her kage's shtick of sorts was these flowers that were spread around the village. She figured that taking a technique that would mimic the kage could come in handy, especially if she ever needed to take a cover id as the kazekage herself. So the technique was fairly simple, the complexity was getting the power behind the technique. If there were flowers available that was all fine and dandy, but creating them could be a bit of a problem. She would just have to will them into existence. That being said, she had heard of people doing more with much less. So it would be a simply matter of creating the flowers. Which she did with a simple burst of chakra, manipulated in the right way. She had always been decent at molding her chakra.
Ototon: Himei Zetsubou no Jutsu [Sound Release: Scream of Despair Skill] learned.
Kenji entered the academy grounds with a sigh, frustrated and ashamed with how his meeting with the kazekage went. First with him being loose lipped which wasn’t like him, and then leaving without properly being dismissed. Well...at least he was going to be training with a sensei today. He didn't know who Iwao was but he knew he had a partner. The Hatake ninja began looking around, careful not to disturb anyone's training. Like that girl with the red eyes who was making flowers. Apparently, red eyes weren't as uncommon as he believed. Moving on, he came across another shinobi who was focusing on three spheres that floated in front of him. The spheres soon transformed into shuriken; Kenji’s eyes locked on them as they began spinning and were launched into a nearby training dummy. Was this…who he was looking for? Part of him hoped so and another part of him was a little intimidated. The towering ninja gave off the impression of a strict instructor, much like his father was at one point. Since the man paused in his training, now seemed like a good time to ask."Excuse me. I’m looking for Iwao-sensai"he asked, taking a few steps toward the giant. Getting closer to the man made him realize just how small he was in comparison.
Taking a small break from his training, Iwao heard a voice nearer to him than the two females he could sort of hear from across the room. Turning towards the source, he looks down to see a young shinobi, probably a new genin. Keeping his usual stoic expression on his face, Iwao responded, “I’m Iwao…I would guess the kazekage sent you for me to train, then?” After a few seconds of staring the kid down sternly, he looked over towards the corner of the room and gave a quick whistle, “Hey Grym! Looks like Kay-chan sent us a cub to train, come over here and introduce yourself, buddy.” Over in the corner, what appeared to be a small hill would twitch a bit before slowly getting up, grumbling the whole time. Grym, the giant Kodiak bear would lumber sleepily over to Iwao and the kid, stopping a few feet away and standing up on his hind legs to scratch his chest a bit before dropping back onto all fours with a loud thud. Getting closer to the two humans, the huge bear sat down and lifted his massive paw in a wave, “Hey, little cub, I’m Grym.” Chuckling a bit, Iwao kneeled down to be closer to eye level with the kid, then said with a slight smile on his face “So, What’s your name and what do you want to learn first?”
"Disturb my desert, and the desert itself will feast on your blood!"
The genin nodded in response to the big guy as he stared him down something fierce. Kenji felt a little uncomfortable, not that one could tell from the look on his face. It was just that same dull expression he always had. At the sound of a whistle, a nearby clump of fur had come to life and revealed itself as a large bear. He approached slowly, probably due to just waking up and proceeded to introduce itself."Huh? Uhh, likewise"he responded, waving and showing mild shock at a talking animal. Was that some kind of jutsu it was using? Turning his attention back to Iwao, he took note to ask about it later."I'm Kenji Hatake and...Raiton jutsu"the teen replied with. Since he was a Hatake, learning raiton felt like the natural step forward.
Seeing the look on Kenji’s face when Grym spoke, Iwao couldn’t help but laugh a bit. When the kid gave his name, along with where he’d like to begin, Iwao nodded, “Nice to meet you, Kenji…..Raiton, eh? I should’ve guessed from a Hatake, well, I know a decent bit of raiton, but mostly it’s higher rank jutsu, but I’ll help you with what I know. The simplest, but rather effective offensive raiton jutsu I know is the lightning beam. Watch how it’s done, then give it a shot.” Iwao then stepped a few feet to Kenji’s side so that the kid could see his handsigns as he went through them more slowly than usual. Once he finished the series, a beam of lightning shot from his hands, quickly expanding to be about five meters in diameter. A few yards away, the beam hit a dummy head-on, and the two would be able to easily hear the crackling of lightning and Iwao, with his tamer’s senses, could smell the slightly scorched wood.
Looking back over at Kenji, he smiled, “Alright, cub, give it a try, it’s a pretty simple, yet effective C-rank raiton jutsu.”
