Ah, sorry guys. Things have been kind of crazy. I've not fully decided what I'll play (I know, I'm bad) and was considering possibly something gender neutral to balance the triad or just going with Hera so we have a Classical god. But, hey~ I have been drawing! Just sketches for now but if y'all ok the basic design then I'll finish them. If not be specific on what needs to change and I'll do a revision. left to right: Jikial, Isa, Siber, Water, Blackbird And here's the base template thingy:

Mr. Blackbird Lore Dragn, I just assumed it was a spiritual recreation and apologize thusly. Ryu was from Street Fighter. White sleeveless dobok, red headband. His spiritual brother- Ken- donned a red sleeveless dobok, which led to my initial belief that you were going for a similarity. Ryu is also all about honor and truth and is a wandering warrior, so you're almost spot on. That you gave him fiery abilities is almost a perfect parallel to his hadouken ability, so all in all they're practically the same guy. Ah, I googled Street Fighter and learned a bit of its lore. I see what you mean now. I was going for a more magical martial arts warrior rather than some sort of ki using martial arts fighter. His personality just seemed to fit the character and I wanted to make someone with some honor seeing as at first look the other characters so far don't seem the most chivalrous people.

SUDDEN CHANGE Venom3001 BasicsCharacter Name: Keyiro ("K") Mitheinous How often can you check/post to the event? All Saturdays/Sundays, most Fridays/Tuesdays, some Mondays/Wednesdays, no Thursdays. Looks: Tyrgani Technocracy Shadowman tundra gear - all-white light armor, full-face helmet, etc. The series of layered clothing ensures a Tyrgani agent can survive a gunshot as well as the environment with metal sheets woven into and between various layers, where the metal won't be as badly affected by the temperature. The hip area also has a two-part tasset. Keyiro himself is thin but muscular. Each hand can be covered by a deployable magic "handgun" of sorts. Personality: Keyiro is a cold professional in the field but a friendly (if somewhat awkward and maladjusted) individual off of it, always slightly detached on account of his line of work's high mortality rates and possible PTSD. Ultimately, he's a bold individualist with a strong belief in the Technocracy of Tyrg's meritocratic policies. Brief bio/introduction: "Keyiro Mitheinous, the Shadowman, arrives on the field! With his anti-magic abilities and magitech equipment, K is sure to be a fierce contender!" This snapshot of K is from before he reached the point of being the top Tyrgani agent worldwide, whose name struck terror into world leaders. At this point, he was skilled but still developing his abilities; additionally, he hadn't yet fully adjusted to what he was doing with his life. Describe your fighting style: K's Tyrgani Virtual Interface gives him (and only him) an effect akin to having a laser sight in a light fog at all times, allowing him to see a line projecting the path of anything he shoots. He also has similar projections applied to enemy projectiles. It also assists him in moving silently and without leaving tracks, identifying weak points, gauge magic levels, etc. Describe your weapons: Two magitech hand cannons (self-assembling machinery that forms around his hand and can retract) that have no ammo limitations, firing the force of his entire body's ability to produce energy into a wave roughly the size of a quarter. He also has an assault rifle (fires two-round bursts with a magazine holding 40 rounds) with an underslung grenade launcher, a combat knife, and (if he so chooses) a magitech-redesigned LAW (disposable rocket launcher, basically). If he brings the LAW, it will severely hinder his mobility until he uses or discards it. His weapons all lack actual triggers, being controlled through the link to his Tyrgani Virtual Interface. eek So now I'm pretty sure everyone else would lose against Keyiro. Most of the rest of us are all elemental warriors of some sort and that anti magic field will give us problems, not to mention the Iron man like hand cannons and the modern technology.

If Cedric could lose the beard-tails, he'd be perfect. It just needs to be a big bushy mane of the same length and size. Otherwise it's spot-on and utterly fantastic.

1) Take Cover 2) No seriously take cover 3) The anti-magic field has to be "aimed" and controlled rather than being passively there like in his source material, so it's not like you just can't hit him. 4) Be creative 5) Watch what I do to give them a fair chance when I'm in a match wink

I can think of a few ways to handle that. Mostly because I've experienced the real thing at its full power.
Protip: Anti-magic fields prevent magic. They don't prevent projectiles. Also, Shadowmen don't do so hot against half-ton boulders moving at just under Mach 1.

Blarg. . . it's been quite the weekend. I had planed to get things done but Vay got very sick and I did nothing. He's doing better now and I hope to be able to get the rest of the drawing soon. I'll be working on the event's setup this week and hope to get it started this weekend. I think maybe we should say the anti-magic field cancels skill points in magics. For example: Anit-magic of 3 would cancel 3 points of magic. So if hit with it Ryu would not be able to use his Coccon or Fire Body but he would be able to use Fiery boost at a 1 point skill level and Fireball at a 2. This gives the points put into the anti-magic skill some meaning and allows for higher level magics to get through it so that pure magic folks can have a more even chance. Peoples agree?
