Show Me How To Lie....
Surprised at the eagerness in her tone when speaking of the baby, Adney smiled. "Relax. They're probably still settling in with the baby. We can invade their apartment tomorrow." the man promised, encouraging her to relax. He hadn't gotten news from his brother yet, so he wasn't even sure if the baby was born yet. "Or as soon as I get the go ahead from my brother. But if it will make you feel better, we can go home so that we're ready when he texts." he would leave the decision to her, as it had been her that had paid for the room for the night.

Adney was right they would have to wait for the baby to come into the world, but she didn't want to leave when she had already paid. "Well we can try something." The woman answered. She had heard about it, but never did it with more than herself. "We could dream hop." She told him. She probably needed to explain more. "Pretty much the idea is to go hop into a person's dream and then out into their bedside."

Show Me How To Lie....
Glad that she seemed willing to be patient, the man relaxed a bit. He looked over curiously at the mention of trying something, raising an eyebrow curiously while waiting for her to explain. "Dream hop? That sounds interesting." he contemplated such, wondering how it might work when he couldn't get into dreams. "How would that work with the two of us?' he wanted at least a general idea before agreeing to it, not wanting to get lost in any dreams.

Sky shrugged her shoulders. "I'm guessing it's similar to just me hopping into a dream, just an extra person." She answered her fiancee. It was also proof that she had never done such a thing or asked about how it works from someone else who may know. "Or we could use a teleporter, but I don't have one and they cost a lot." She added. It was probably out of their budget range for a long while. "I'm going to need a new job."

Show Me How To Lie....
With Sky unsure about how it worked, he was a bit apprehensive about it. "Or I could take you to a nice dinner." he volunteered, as he was getting hungry. While it was evening, it wasn't quite late enough for many places to be closed. He hadn't eaten in quite a number of hours, and he was kind of hungry. Jumping around through dreams and such sounded tedious, and he was feeling a bit lazy after everything that had happened that day. "You can't be a sandman while being pregnant?" he asked, curious. He didn't know how sandmen worked, even after all her explanations, so he was a bit confused.

Sky didn't like the idea of a 'nice dinner' to her that was like dressing up fancy and going to a expensive restaurant. "Nothing too nice. I demand places that wearing jeans and a t-shirt is preferred or expected." She told her fiancee. The local fast food place was fine with her. She then turned to her current job. "They label it as too dangerous and I can understand. Whatever happens to my body in a dream really does happen to my physical body and fighting of henchmen in a child's dream is not easy to do when you're pregnant." She answered him. There was no way Adney would let her work that job now. Not something that put Blair at risk.

Not at all surprised that she objected to anything too nice, the man didn't argue that. "Of course, of course." he conceded, not willing to fight over that point. At mention of a job, he nodded. "I agree with them. It is too dangerous." he frowned a bit, learning now just what being a sandman might entail. "And while I know you can handle yourself, fighting while trying to protect someone else isn't easy." he had the scars to prove it, a particular round ish one at his collar bone all the proof he would really need. "But we can worry about that after we eat." he decided, standing from the bed. If one of them didn't get moving, neither of them would.

Sky rolled over and off the bed. It's clear that she wouldn't be poking at her belly for a few minutes while they walked around. She brushed her fingers through her hair before moving towards the door. She didn't bring any clothes so she could leave. She tucked the key into her pocket and grabbed her wallet and the pregnancy test as well. Being careful not to leave anything. "Not a huge worry at this moment. It's not like I can just go to work today anyways. I'll go to my boss tomorrow and tell him I have to quit." Sky told Adney. "We have to do more planning for the wedding then we have to talk about a job. I wonder if Reed's in hiring for anything."

Show Me How To Lie....
Shrugging, the man picked his coat up from the floor and pulled it on. Picking up the ring box from the bed, he still had yet to wrestle it open, he tucked that into his pocket before giving the room a quick scan. His phone was tucked safely into his pocket, and that was pretty much everything he had brought. "We can do both, then." he compromised, not wanting to worry about that now. First, he wanted to get some food in her. Opening the door, he then reached to take hers, his bad hand tucked away in his pocket, and led the way out of the building.

» Lux walks up to the inn and looks around. "Well, this seems like an okay place, I suppose." She undoes a few buttons on her shirt. "Anything to help my chances a little, eh?", she says with a smirk. With that, she walks in the door and looks around. Noticing the front desk, she walks up and rings the bell. "Hello, anyone here?" ™

An elderly couple answered to her call and the woman smiled at her. Their belts were full of different bottles with what looked like sand on them. "Hello my dear. You must be answering to our ad right? Please come here." The woman showed the way to a seating area. She coaxed the woman to sit down. "So tell me about yourself deary."

» "Yes, ma'am, I am.", said Lux. She then proceeded to follow the couple into the seating area, sitting down. "Well, My name is Luxuria Devonshire, though, I usually prefer to shorten that name to a simple, yet sweet, 'Lux'. I am new in town and was searching for employment when I came across your add. I have always wanted to work in an inn and I thought that this would be the perfect chance to try." She then directs her attention to the gentleman, leaning forward a bit. "I would also love to get to know the people here.", she says with a slight smile. ™

The old woman smiled. She gave a look of wisdom from her years. "You're a vampire are you not?" She kind of knew at least that much. "We're Baku, sandman. Our goal is to make a guest stay comfortable. What will you do to keep up this level?" The woman was probably going to up her on the night staff since it seemed to be the best place for the woman.

» Lux quickly turned her attention back to the woman, "Yes ma'am, I am." She smiles slightly. "Sandmen, huh? Well, I don't know if I could ever dream of being as well suited for this job as you are, but I will do what I can to assure the guests comfort. Whatever they desire, they shall have. Well, to an extent of course, I'm not a Djinn or anything of that sort.", she says giving a slight chuckle. "I can be very attentive, very personable, as well as quick on my feet. Those are good traits for a servant, no?" She glances down then back up with a slight smirk, "I have also been told that I am quite good company when someone is feeling a bit lonely." ™
