Ylva would hardly admit it, but she was nervous.

Even as she stood poised, back straight, as she would discreetly adjust anything on the table that seemed remotely out of place or awry. Everything had to be perfect. It just had to be. This concerned her future, and this was what she had been studying for her entire time in Amityville.

Her booth consisted of a mini cauldron bubbling away, a few vials of potions, ingredients used for such potions, and even a crystal ball.

On one of the most important days of her academic life, Ylva had taken a considerable amount of effort to dress up nicely. Despite the mask atop her head, she had combed her hair and secured it into a neat bun, and chose a dark dress along with a nice cloak.

Overall, she thought she looked pretty good. Hopefully, others would think so as well.

Radoch was never the...creative sort. He enjoyed building things from time to time, but was never too zany with his designs; thankfully he wasn't displaying much of his workmanship; in fact, his booth seemed a little sparse compared to others. Medals and trophies were spread along the table's surface, accompanied by ribbons at intervals.

A photo was the centerpiece of the booth: a 10" by 10" frame housing a picture of the Musimon, bruised and bloody with his hands in a pair of boxing gloves, having his right arm held up by a semi-famous referee. It was the photo taken when he won the Monstrous Combat Mayhem tournament; an achievement not taken lightly in the world of fighting.

He'd gone through fifteen grueling matches with other Monsters to get to his final opponent: a Cyclops named Burd, who had won the tournament for the last four years. The match had been bloody, and a few dirty tricks had been employed, but the victor was Radoch when all was said and done. Perhaps a training gym would see the photo and approach him, or maybe even the Boogeymen. He would certainly be a boon in violent cases.

There were a few dreadfully embarrassing moments where Ylva slipped, stammered even, but she immediately chastised her nerves and continued her explanation smoothly. The cecaelia was glad that the mask hid the blush of horror upon her face when she slipped, but at least she hadn't lost her composure completely. And most of them seemed rather interested in her booth and what she had to say.

((OVERALL SCORE: 9 + 7 + 4 = 20))

Everything had went a lot better than she had ever anticipated.

Ylva couldn't help but grin as she stuffed yet another pamphlet into a file beneath her table that was almost bursting with all the cards she had received. Her feet were getting somewhat sore with standing in heels, and she privately wished that she could remove them and switch back to her tentacles instead.

But she would have to wait until the end of the day to do so. But at least she could take a small break now, after all the work she had done.

While the day before was semi important, another set of classes to pretend to listen through and clearly not file her impeccable nails, today was an important day. The day when they all would have to learn to network and set their path after leaving Amity. It was a day that she could not let pass by while the demoness got her beauty sleep in. The crimson haired ghoul stretched daintily as she skipped to her own table, supplies trailing behind her in a little suitcase as she pulled them out one by one and began to set them up.

"Oh.... I really hope everything's here." she pouted to herself as she began to slip on the tablecloth and fastened the Scream badge to the front. The neat pile of resumes and headshots was placed on the left hand side of her chair and a tape of last years theatrical performance of Gorey-o and Mutilate was left playing on loop from the small skellyvision on her right. The portable fear supply to run it was nestled under the table, a small price to pay in her mind, smaller if the right modeling company or theater busybody decided to walk past her area. all in all, Tica gave the stand a nod of approval, and her chest did too.

"Not bad, could be better, but not bad comparing to some of the others." she said haughtily and was sorely tempted to tap at one of the nearby stalls with her heel to see if it would come crashing down.

Stardom, it was well within reach Tica told herself reassuringly.

Tica was sure her booth was ok.

She was so sure of it. Except when a banner board on top fell off in a clatter right on top of her. The demoness let out a screech of indignation as it splintered all over her hair and dress and the papers. Yes, she was covered in wood. And not even all the cute pouting in the land could make it took any better, three hours on her hair, wasted in the blink of an eye.

Thank Jack her headshots looked better than she did right now, maybe that would be her saving grace.
or pull off the splintered wood look with grace. it wasn't working so well.

Tica was ever so thankful for run proof mascara as she refused to let the unshed tears fall and mess up all her makeup like her hair was. But it didn't bring people to her area, if only to see if she was alright.

Pity bystanders, horrible. "I'm fine, fine really." she said bravely as she picked at the bits of tree in her hair and brushed as much off her dress as she could as well as her table.

Safe to say she was raging inside, fuming at the bad luck that befell her today. Was there a feline monstrous student that had it out fro her today? She couldn't recall messing with any of the monster students as of late. Still, she went to put the curious bystanders at ease with her smile.

All the while wondering if it was possible to hide under the table by the portable fear supply.

Radoc hadn't showered that morning - there hadn't been time, thanks to sleeping in an hour. He had bead head, he reeked of hastily applied deodorant, and his clothes had a few wrinkles in them. His arms were crossed over his chest, and his expression was rather grumpy. No breakfast meant his stomach was growling and rumbling, being a nuisance.

Apparently his championship photo did it's job, though, and he had four people at his booth. He smirked, kept his arms crossed, and cleared his throat. Time to dazzle the crowd with some flashy fighting moves and a smooth as butter speech. A sand filled dummy appeared, thanks to some gnomes, and he looked at the crowd.

"Hello, dear friends."

"Dear fiends, allow me to demonstrate just why I won this years MCM tournament." He smirked again, before taking on a more serious face and bursting into a double back hand spring, fudging the landing slightly. He let out a curse, before focusing again. He rushed the dummy, and began to wail on it. Right cross, left hook, uppercut, sucker punch, knee in the stomach, headbutt. The combo repeated itself twice more, until the Musimon backed off, breathing heavily. He had no energy; he was sweating profusely. This was not good.

Some onlookers had come, but were already walking away grumbling about bad form and how one title didn't make a good employee. Panicked, he let out a desperate bleat. Another angry bleat followed, and he rushed the dummy again, clothes lining the inanimate object and successfully decapitating it. Panting, he turned to look at his crowd of three, who were all clapping politely with big shocked eyes. The last part had really gotten them.

Oinqa knew that this day was a vitally important catalyst for her entire future, but she couldn't really get past the whole "pumpkin helmet" aspect of the festival. She had spent way too much time yesterday carving hers to perfection, missing class in the process, and now that she saw what everyone else had done, the hoga was confident that she had made the right decision.

Remarkably, she hadn't neglected her booth either. It wasn't the best one in the place, but it managed to showcase many of her major accomplishments at the school with clarity and charm. Swim team medals, pictures from the Chameleon Club, second place eating contest ribbons (three years running!); they were all present and accounted for. Oinq brushed reverent fingers over her business cards as she pushed them back into a neat stack. She had penned them all by hand, and they were looking pretty good if she did say so herself.

One of the onlookers, a Reaper sporting a shirt that read "Fool's Gold Gym: Crush their dreams, Win their Fear!" handed Radoch a sweat towel out of a bag he was carrying around, along with a card and a wink. "Call us, ask for Neil." The man walked off, whistling a happy tune.

Another onlooker proffered a bottle of water to the boil, along with another card. "You'd make a good stunt-double, kid. Call the number ASAP, understood?" He walked away quickly, adjusting his beret and curling his mustache.

The third onlooker said nothing, but handed him a hastily scratched number on a piece of paper. The person was off quickly, cloak making the movements of the mystery person dramatic.

Radoch would call the last number first. If he knew anything from movies and books, the mysterious stranger usually meant the best outcome. His day was made.

In addition to her aforementioned pumpkin helmet, Oinq was also wearing her best dress, a frilly number with big poofy shoulders. It was clearly a hit, seeing as how she had gotten at least nine compliments in the fifteen minutes she had been setting up. That those compliments might have been a little on the sarcastic side didn't cross her mind.

Unfortunately, those very same souls who enthused over her hat and dress didn't seem all that interested in talking to her for very long. It might have had something to do with the fact that she had a tendency to ramble about shiny things and the floresce sandwich she had brought for lunch.

Finally, she grew bored with her own presence and strolled away from her booth, leaving her business cards and trophies to the mercy of her classmates.
