"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
The clone watched as Takeo covered his arm with earth. Interesting to say the least; however it would do little to help against the Spear if it even came close to connecting with him. He had seen what it did against Stone even with an indirect blow; and his arm,.... that wouldn't be in very good condition even with a graze.
So as Takeo charged at him Sessouresu didn't bother to Dodge or Cast a Genjutsu as he normally would have. He had Said he was going to fight at half Strength, so he was going to stick to that. Normally he would have cast a Genjutsu on Takeo; dodged the attack and countered while he was dealing with the illusion. But he decided he would just throw a single blow at Takeo and see what would happen. This was less then Half strength but what was the point. He already knew in a full out fight he would beat Takeo, so he might as well experiment with this importunity; and to those watching it would be clear that he wasn't taking this match seriously in the least.
So Sessouresu continued to Remain in place as his shirt was Grabbed. So this is how it was going to go. As the boy threw the stone covered fist at Sessouresu, He Jabbed the Spear Directly at Takeo's Side. It would be easy enough to Dodge, however in order to do so he would need to abort the Strike aimed at Sessouresu' seeing as how with the spears length, in order for Takeo's Fist to make contact he had to come into the Spears Range.
However there was something..... odd. The blow wasn't aimed at the Dead center of the Boy's Torso, it was aimed more at his side; so if the two Traded blow for blow; the clone would have been destroyed. But the Spear would Graze the boy's Side rather than impale him ( You know how to react to this Jutsu if you choose to trade blows; XD ))
----------------
As this happened The Real Sessouresu reached the food and grabbed a few small items, and sitting back down on one of the Tables. Watching Takeo and the clone have there little match with a bored look on his face. Taking a few bites of the food as he did so.

You feel it burning......twisting and turning...... Takeo had been paying attention to the boy's arm and once it began to move towards his side, he simply turned his body to the side and shifting fist's target to the boy's arm, specifically his wrist/forearm area. He knew that the spear was going to come, but he didn't know where it would be aimed. Once Sessouresu's clone had thrown his blow towards Takeo and he figured in its current path, he grew more angry. Sessouresu wasn't even giving him the benefit to attack him with a killing intent, only aiming to wound or maim him with the fiery spear. He wasn't aware of how powerfully hot the spear was until his fist began to near the spear, and that was with both his earth covered fist and his other arm. That thing was definitely something that wouldn't agree with his flesh in a terrible burning, scalding way. Painful wasn't even going to begin to describe if that hit him perfectly. On another hand, he could feel a nagging pain in his body, a familiar feeling. He was tired and he was running out of energy fast. This would need to be finished soon, or else he would pass out out of exhaustion.

As Takeo's Punch neared The clone, it looked down at the Spear, it had gone exactly were he had expected it too. He had dodged his best in order to avoid as much as he could and still land the blow. So Just before the Strike of Takeo's Landed, He would see the clone looking at him. A rather large grin on his face as he did so.
It was only a split second later that the punch made contact with the clone; which exploded into a cloud of smoke as it was struck; the shock might have even been enough to make Takeo lose his balance, seeing as how his full strength punch had essentially just swung wildly through the air. However as the Clone Vanished the Spear Slid Backwards, into the group behind him. charring the stone floor as it slid, slowly fading like the heat from a chunk of steel just pulled from a Forge.
---------
As this happened the Real Sessouresu Who had been sitting down watching the match placed down the chunk of bread he was eating and gave a nice slow clap, just loud enough for Takeo to hear. "Congratulations, you now know you can get away with only horrid burns if I stand still and don't move during out fights" After his clap he picked up his bread once more and took another bite; having retrieved the information that the clone had gathered; the Real Sessouresu had all the fine details he could want. "You prove whatever your goal was to yourself yet?" He asked wiping a few crumbs away from his mouth.

You feel it burning......twisting and turning...... Takeo could feel the fatigue beginning to affect him as his punch struck and took care of the clone. Unfortunately, the spear did graze by him and his shirt was burned and his skin began to turn red and bubble and burn. It was only a small patch of his skin, but it quickly turned black and he fell to the ground in pain. He was thankful that he had avoided it fully but the spear had come near enough so it did affect him. He could feel the slow recovery of the room begin to ease some of the pain, but it didn't matter. The burn was still extremely painful, like a burn piece of metal was against his side. He noticed some medical ninja heading his way now that the fight was done and they were in no danger of being hurt in the crossover. The anger in his eyes towards Sessouresu was evident, his Sharingan burning in his eyes. He spoke, his voice barely getting out and over to the one eyed boy due to the pain he was currently in. "You......you b*****d.....n-next time.......*hah hah*.....I'll beat you to the ground......" His knees wobbled and he collapsed onto the floor, unconscious. His Sharingan disappeared from his eyes and his eyes returned to their onyx color. The earth around his fist fell off, returning to the ground where it had come. He was exhausted from all of his expending anger and he was extremely tired. Maybe......for a little bit....sleep would be good.... And with that he passed out, allowing the medics to get to him and treat his side burn. They began work on his side, applying some paste to his side and some bandages.

Sessouresu simply remained in his seat taking a few bites of his food; looking at Takeo as he fell over and muttered to himself. "Yeah, yeah; You will get revenge, blah blah blah" He said in a mocking tone to the boy who had fallen over. "Like I haven't heard that one before, Maybe I should start keeping track of the times things like this has been said to me" As he said that the boy shrugged slightly and went back to his meal that he had been eating.
"Hey Medic, make sure the failure doesn't die from that. It would be pathetic of him to die from a graze" As he said that he didn't even bother to look up from his meal. "Alright?" As he said that he shrugged slightly. He wondered how long it was going to take for this portion of the exam to actually be finished.

Sharingan, One Tomoe: ActiveAs he watched the fight he raised an eyebrow hidden by his eerie cat mask. From the development of the blinding orb of light, to the sleeve coating his arm, to the lizard's rocky terrace.
The sleeve interested him most considering both he and the clone used it before that... spear took full form, and heated up too much. That was enough alone to tell, and that was excluding the fact that the chakra was enormous.
He also took note that his chakra control which had considerably increase. He performed a jutsu that rivaled any jounin, and created a shadow clone as well. That cloaking jutsu was defensive but he could not accurately ascertain how much it truly needed to manifest.
But he did go immediately sit down and eat, despite the rooms regenerative effects. Meaning, those two jutsu in rapid succession took a considerable drain. He seemed to still be apt and able for combat should he need to.
He payed closer attention to the damage done to Takeo and felt no stirring of anger or remorse at his pain and suffering. He had asked for it, and continued it. Perhaps he should have payed closer attention to what he had done to himself earlier.
His head began to whirl with a myriad of ideas and possibilities, out comes. New ideas for jutsu, so he could copy now and alter, others that would have to wait a while. But one thing good came from all of this, DATA. Lots and lots of valuable data.
Sessouresu had a spear the equivalent of a lance of magma embodied. Takeo was getting more flexible with his new chakra element. Takeo unlocked his Sharingan. Sessouresu's half was better than Takeo's full rage. The Stranger STILL didn't give a damn. And there was a new woman in the building.
When he finally took note of the her, realizing she must have walked in earlier. His gaze locked onto her frame, more importantly her neck and shoulder line. His Sharingan seeing the chakra signature, mentally recording her color. Wait, signatures. "That chakra signature is that...?" Looking at the area of the familiar chakra that had excited and aroused suspicion within himself, he began to think. "The size is right.. now enough of it to be her unless she was weak.. even so.."Cocking his head to the side like a curious dog, he leered onto to the shoulder area before uttering a single sound."SSSssssssssss"It may not have been her, it could even be her familiar or one of them. But what he wanted to confirm if it was Vrisska, and if this blind serpent was acting out against Hebi. That would be a grave mistake.
The woman herself seemed, odd. Like a sort of white noise, and her eye color through the hood was... blue? Interesting. She seemed liked someone familiar in the way she was so... poised. Like the area in his head that minded not murder, fear, suffering or pain. He did also note of several lumps in her cloak that appeared to be weapons.
Unlike Koto she had so many, either she was very bad and went through them regularly. Or she was deadly and precise with them, and had many for different purposes. Either way this new comer had caused him great interest."Hmmm... Curious. And. Curiouser."

"Let no good deed go unpunished,"Umbra Uchiha Umbra had watched the fight intently –picking out favorite hands and legs as a means of information gathering- and overall wasn’t overly impressed, sure the one with the patch on his eye was pretty good, but he didn’t need to display much in the way of power. The other one was an even bigger fool… the boy didn’t seem overly able in up close and personal combat, why didn’t he try and get inside the spears range with perhaps the body flicker... or use some other means to keep away from the spear's tip itself, or at least counter it with fire chakra of his own? The spear was a weapon that was overall defensive and good at keeping enemies at bay, but once its range was penetrated it was hard, if not impossible, to use effectively. Instead of going at him from a distance where the spear could reach, why didn’t the boy back off either where the spear couldn’t reach or get inside of the threat range and take him out that way without taking the hit? It was hard to comprehend the other boy’s line of thinking, as there appeared to be none whatsoever. A few thought out tactics would have served better than mindlessly throwing oneself at the opponent. Obviously the one-eye kid must have goaded him into a careless response. Still, that was no excuse for the poor display. Every shinobi with half a brain cell could tell you that a moving target is harder to hit than a stationary one. Yet, the boy held his ground and was damn near killed for it. Was it worth his dignity and pride, she wondered, that he made himself look like an absolute fool in front of so many of the others in his clan? It was a pitiful thing, really. The one eyed boy was also a loser in her eyes, why let him live? He was weak, he showed his weakness in such and arrogant, none though out manner that he ended up embarrassing himself in front of so many. She certainly wouldn’t have shown such compassion and mercy to someone like that. He was going to get himself and the rest of the squad he was with killed with that sort of short sightedness.
Umbra wasn’t ignorant of the attention that she was getting now that the hostilities were over and done with, she unflinchingly noted that several eyes were upon her now, one of which was the boy in the skull mask with the cat ears on it. A few others also had their eyes on her while others merely passed her a quick glance before going back to what they were doing before the little showdown occurred. Now that the excitement seemed to be over she withdrew herself into the outskirts of the social area, propping herself up against a wall and relaxing while she could. She didn’t know the rest of her mission, but she assumed that it was still going to be a while judging by how irritated and restless the others were getting. Perhaps she should have requested some time to herself to get familiar with the new camp and its facilities before coming here. Granted, perhaps Senri herself didn’t know that the games were running behind schedule and she was worried about things not being ready before then. Umbra closed her eyes from a moment. Having just got to the barracks from the pre-boot camp screening, she was a little tired. Opening her eyes once again she started to take more stock of various faces in the crowd. Intel gathering, she supposed, anything to pass the time while she waited for things to either get moving along or something actually interesting to happen."Let no evil deed go unrewarded."

Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

Koto sighed heavily and stood. He would take a break for now...it was simply too difficult to concentrate while the Takeo and Sessouresu were fighting. Normally he would’ve stepped in to try and defuse the situation, but it wasn’t his fight. They needed to get it out of their systems...boys will be boys after all. With the fight done he could stretch his legs and think. it was good that Takeo was able to unlock his sharingan... that made what Koto had to do later even more important...
He noticed Umbra soon...he got a sense of familiarity about her but couldn’t put his finger on it...he shook his head and made a note to think more on it later. For now, at least, he turned his attention to sessouresu...
“You know...I think you care more than you’re willing to admit runt...” he said casually approaching sessouresu from behind. Before giving the younger genin a clap on the shoulder and walking away...part of him knew that it would piss sessouresu off...the rest of him had a feeling that a warmth, however subtle was growing in the boy.
Now he intended to learn what he could about the new comer...all he could tell was that she was female, had swords, and seemed to have attracted Haruki’s attention...He couldn not fathom why yet.
“Hello there...I’m Koto... are you participating in the exams as well miss?” he said with a calm and gentle civility in his voice and an expressionless face. All the while he studied her. Her posture, he size and what he could glean of her frame. From what he could tell she was a skilled swordsman...as good or better than him.

"Let no good deed go unpunished,"Umbra Uchiha Umbra continued to watch with a disciplined silence as the rest of the Clan and their close counterparts got restless waiting for the rest of the exams to finish and move in to the next phase. She, however, was relatively at ease in the room. Perhaps it was because she was focused on her mind, or perhaps she was just self conditioned not to let such things bother her or get under her skin. Umbra was wishing that this sort of things was hurrying on though, even the most patient of those in the world get tired of waiting. She could feel the occasional, slight shift from under her cloak as Sylne moved around to get better, for the most part she moved around herself to both allow Sylne to find her comfortable spot and to disguise the fact that she was there to the best of her abilities. Umbra closed her eyes for a moment and began to rest her mind. She had just gotten out of the boot camp before this one and she had to admit that she was more than a trifle tired at this point. Her eyes opened slowly as she heard a voice that belonged to a male come close to her, she didn’t catch what he said to the eye patched boy but the clip on the shoulder suggest that there was some level of familiarity between the pair of them that made them at least comrades in the most basic degree, though… judging by the reaction of the one who had the eye patch on, it wasn’t as well received as it perhaps was intended to be. Then again it could be a sort of tough guy physique, and a means of accepting the subtle tease of the other boy. It wasn’t long after that when he approached her as well. He was quiet the social one, wasn’t he? She turned her head silently towards him as he tried to engage her in some conversation. His voice was oddly civil compared to some of the others that she had come across. He had introduced himself as ‘Koto’ and he seemed to offer some sort of verbal hand of acknowledgment to her as she propped herself up on the wall. He was studying her as she was studying him. She noted the three swords that decorated his body, she wasn’t sure if he was a one or two weapon fighter, and what the third blade was for, though judging by its size, it was probably for the ritual suicide, a rather forgotten but honored tradition among the clan. She had a sliver more respect for him, though she didn’t show it. After all, he was seriously dedicated to the same sort of mentality that she had –if a job is worth doing… it is worth dying for. His honor was noted, though whether he was all talk and no trousers regarding this was yet to be seen.
There was a long, uncomfortable beat of silence at Koto waited for his answer, and for a while, it may have seemed that she either didn’t hear him or that she was ignoring him till her quiet, but firm voice traveled to his ears with her answer.”Yes, I am.” She replied simply and shortly. It was the honest to god truth that she was here to participate, she just didn’t specify how she would be participating. Bending the truth without breaking it was a fine art with no shame attached. She didn’t know how much more the boy would be asking. But she figured she would dodge around her ‘mission’ as best she could while still being relatively mysterious about who she was. She was sure that he would get to know her soon enough, and if they were possible team mates, he would probably get to know more about her than she cared to tell. Her family history was… complicated, but being from a political background, one did not simply leave and expect to escape without some ramifications. Perhaps the Clan Lord knew, and perhaps he would try to persuade her to go back, perhaps not. Time would tell for certain."Let no evil deed go unrewarded."

"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
As Koto walked over and patted Sessouresu on the shoulder he couldn't help but give him the 'Dah ******** you doing' look. The look only growing as Koto spoke. "Ohhh yeah clearly, because Impaling the daughter of the clan leader, Abandoning you and Serene on a mission, Throwing Haruki out of the exam, Searing the skin off Takeo and walking in on Senri in the shower ALL show my warm and cuddly side now don't they" As he said that he watched Koto's attention turn to the new comer, Sessouresu giving the 'mind full of ********' face for a moment as he watched the boy walk over. "Seriously, pick one mindset, You have gone from happy; to insane, back to happy"
Before any reply that might have been made could be, the boy stood up and started to walk away, taking one final large bite out of the roll that he had been eating. Walking back to the seat he had been sitting in before; next to the entrance of the gambling ring, but against the wall. Far enough away from the others that most people wouldn't bother walking over; except some of the newer recruits who didn't know him yet. However he was close enough to still hear most of the conversation in the room.

Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

The smile on Koto's face had two sources. The first was Sessouresu's reaction. No matter how Koto looked at it there was a spark of compassion in the boy...it just needed to be nurtured. The second source of the amused grin on his face was the short and direct response by Umbra.
"Well no one goes through the trouble of making such a concise answer to a question unless there's more to it than that...but I'm not one to pry unless it gets on the runt's nerves" he said motion towards sessouresu knowing full well that the ornery young shinobi could likely hear him.
"While I don't intend to pry I can't help but wonder about you...you carry your self in a different way than the others...if I had to put money on it...you're easily more powerful than the genin here, or at least you think you are...i honestly can't say one way or the other though. You're on the taller side too. between that and the swords you kinda scream 'taijutsu specialist'." he said rubbing his chin as if deep in thought.
The truth was he was guessing. Because she only made her self known now, he had to assume she was trying to give away as little of her own potential abilities as possible. He didn't bother hiding his specialty because it was all he had to go with... The seven swords were certainly telling...she was likely very dangerous in close combat. She also had less uncertainty about her than most of the genin here, which led him to the belief that she was already above them in ability or simply arrogant...and she didn't seem the pridefull type to him.
He felt drawn to her in some way. There was an odd sense of familiarity to her as he looked into the dark exotic eyes that seemed so vibrant against her white skin. It all seemed too familiar, she spoke few words but in them conveyed more. She reminded him of himself...wearing the mask for others to see...with a heart speaking through sight...he wasn't sure, but he felt certain at the same time.
His face too drained of emotion. He slipped into a mind set he'd not been in for some time. Eyes met hers and he once again was struck by the contrast of her eyes against her skin. It was as if she was a physical metaphor for her own personality...plain white, but a soul both dark and beautiful...
"I see..."he said. His face was expressionless and his black eyes focus on hers...His eyes said what his words did not: I think I understand...

"Let no good deed go unpunished,"Umbra Uchiha Umbra stood silent and unmoving as Koto had continued on with his talking. She wasn’t sure how to take this man, was he flirting with her? She kept her eyes locked onto his, her eyes betrayed her rather icy disconnection to the world around her, even to the boy that was in front of her. He was trying to probe her mind a little bit by trying to bait her into giving him more information. He was starting to point out the more obvious observations about her. She just watched him with a bored expression on her face. She gave him credit for his ability to deduce that she was a taijutsuist though some of his observations should be taken with a little more care. Sometimes, taking such assumptions were a very dangerous thing to do.”You should be very careful about assumptions based on genetic dispositions. If you assumed wrong in battle, it could very well end your life. Sometimes these things are little more than a carefully baited trap by a skill opponent.” Umbra turned her head to face forwards again. Koto could probably guess that she was the type of person who kept herself relatively guarded. Umbra spared another look over at Koto as he continued to talk, more out of drilled in social politeness than any real interest in what was being said.
There was something about this encounter that made her feel somewhat uncomfortable in the situation, she hid it well though, she had removed her gaze from Koto to further shield her inner thoughts. She was starting to feel like she did when she was in the courts, all the men and their poppas over inflated egos. She didn’t feel that Koto was really coming across that way, but the attention that he seemed to be giving her felt a little bit like that. Like was trapped in a social ring that she didn’t care about. She hated the courts and the politics surrounding them, she hated being leered at by the Men of the court and being forced to laugh at the jokes of the women. Those stupid and agitating old men who thought because they had political power that they had a right to treat her like some sort of perverse toy. She came here to get away from that, she came here because she wanted to be treated like a warrior, not like a woman, not like something that was only here for eye candy and give dirty minded people a chance to peek down her kimono or dress. Umbra closed her eyes for a moment before looking back at Koto.”Power is a subjective thing, real power is infinite and utterly unobtainable. Those who put value in the thought of power alone and measure power by their own standards are arrogant and their minds are simple and useless to an army. One must take into consideration all aspects of combat: wars and conflicts are not won by close combat or long range alone. The Strongest jutsu’s in the world are useless unless you know when and how to use them to bring out their full potential. Even the most basic technique can be more dangerous than any A ranked jutsu if used in the right way. A general who puts all his attention to long range will be out maneuvered; those who put all their faith in close combat will be taken out from afar. These elements must be used in harmony in order to win war.” Umbra fell silent for a while after that. Perhaps that would give him enough of a hint that she was here for a reason, she was here to fight, grow stronger and master herself through discipline and dedication, she wasn’t here to make friends, she wasn’t here to seek out and get a boyfriend, she wasn’t here to be simply eye candy for the boys. When Koto mentioned that he understood, she wondered if he truly did. Perhaps he did, perhaps his story was similar to her own, or that she was like him that he was seeking a purpose here that he couldn’t obtain elsewhere. For now though, she wasn’t positive that he did understand. Still… his eyes were at least suggesting that he was trying to understand her. His eyes were like hers in a way, they expressed his inner emotions. His face became a stoic mask to mirror hers. She wasn’t sure if that was something of a mockery of her own lack of facial expression, or if he was usually like that. Make no baseless assumptions, that would be the better course of action. "Let no evil deed go unrewarded."

Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

"Impressive..." he said, his face remaining as a stone effigy. There was something deeper in those words. His tone made their meaning clear. His eyes conveyed that meaning further. I can respect those thoughts they said.
"You're not wrong. Power requires balance upon the edge of a honed blade. Such is the way of war...but so too is life. Put your focus in one direction and you will fall off the path...stay in one spot and you will die where you stand. One should move forward swiftly and with purpose, but should also exercise prudence." he said his feelings seeming to echo in his eyes.
"If more shinobi thought like you do their would be less suffering among us I think. Always such a focus on gaining power quickly though forbidden and dangerous techniques. So many shinobi sacrifice far too much for the sake of gaining more power when most of them can't use what power that do have properly." he said trying to hide the slight if intense note of frustration in his voice.
"Sorry about that, I don't usually come with a soapbox. I wont bother asking your name. I'm sure you'll tell me if you decide I deserve to know, but I hope to speak with you again. It's nice to make a another friend that's also a taijutsu specialist." he said with a polite bow.

~Feed the fire, break your vision~ Takeo had been moved back next to Serene to be treated after the fight. After the medics had healed his burn, one of them tapped his head gently and his eyes flickered open. His dazed look at them confirmed he was fine and no longer in pain so they left him. After a few minutes passed where he figured out he was not grievously wounded and in pain, he looked around the room. Everything seemed to be in its same place except now there was a new person who Koto seemed to be talking to. She looked rather stoic, very similar to how Koto was himself. She also had some swords on her person, which meant of course that Koto had to say something to her. You'd think it was commonplace for Uchiha and my brother and I, as well as Ijimeru and Senri are the strange ones for not having one. He couldn't hear any of their conversation from this distance but he really didn't care. If anything he wondered how she had joined mid exam since he was fairly sure she hadn't been here before. He focused his gaze on her and he noticed his vision tightened. Anyone looking would notice his Sharingan had sparked on. For some reason some strange chakra was flowing around the new girl. Wait. Since when can I see chakra? He looked down at his own hands and he flared to life a small flame on his palm. Sure enough, he saw the chakra go up his arm and to his palm before he saw the fire flare to life. He smiled, as he had done something without meaning to. His Sharingan was active. His thoughts quickly brought up his challenge to Serene, but he figured he wouldn't use it if they fought. He had promised to fight her man to man.....er woman. Trying to justify its use now, he felt, would be going back on his word. That was a ninja's most important thing, honor. And it was going to be one thing he wanted to strive to uphold in himself. He closed his eyes and his Sharingan deactivated. He hopped up and found his balance before walking over and grabbing some food. He needed to replenish his energy after that brawl afterall.
