Swimming Race [RACE OVER]

Leela once again let the buizel distract her. She would have to stop looking at it if she wanted a new pokemon. Now she would have to catch up with one of the two.

Leela ended up going too fast after the pokemon and ended up past them again. She had to get her rental to turn around.

Once again, Leela found herself chasing after distant subjects. She would not give up! Surely determination would lead to success.

Swimming leisurely seemed to have some sort of effect as the Tentacool came right up to him! He quickly 'pounced' on it and informed it of a way to escape!

Somehow he had managed to SAVE the Tentacool ((yes I'm keeping it))!

Instead of getting closer, she ended up being farther. Leela almost panicked and coaxed her rental to go faster.

Leela noticed that for some reason, the tentacool was now buddies with the buizel. They were swimming away from the race together. So that's what the pokemon had been doing. Now all that was left was the psyduck.

Leela felt the sudden need to laugh. Really the whole situation was hilarious. At times she thought she had her rental under control and then it would veer off in a random direction.

Now it was just being lazy. Swimming at such a leisure pace. Leela had to think maybe it would be best to just let it do what it wanted.

Amazingly it worked. Leela's rental had circled around and was now closer to the psyduck then they were earlier.

Her rental seemed content to keep circling because that is exactly what they did. They didn't get closer. Leela was beginning to wonder what it was doing.

Slowly, they began to circle closer to the psyduck. Leela smiled then. Maybe her rental knew what it was doing and she just shouldn't doubt it.

Or she should doubt her rental. Leela frowned as they circled away from the psyduck. At this rate, she'd be out here forever.

Now they were not even circling but swimming away from it. Leela looked over her shoulder as she held on, the frown still on her face.

They were now swimming past it. The psyduck looked at Leela as she went past. Perhaps it too was wondering what was going on.

Past the psyduck they went again. It seemed the psyduck was just sitting in the gentle waves now, watching them. Leela was sure it was amused.
