even though i'm doing an intense work out (Insanity) i feel like my weight isn't really going anywhere. its like a tug-a-war battle with numbers. so i think i'm going to go back on to tracking food points (weight watcher points) for this month to see if there's a difference in weight lose compared to this month and last month. i may be losing fat weight and gaining muscle, but i would really love to see my poundage go down on the scale. i really want to make it to my 130-140lbs before next year. or at least be close to that goals for my cousin's wedding next May. and definitely want to be down to that weight for the following year Spring 2014 for my sister's wedding.
...i need to measure my bust, waist, and hip size. maybe seeing that go down will help me feel like i'm going somewhere when i don't see pounds being dropped.

Have you tried measuring inches? Like your waist, upper arm, thigh?
Those would show differences in loss of fat turned to muscle I think.

Just remember it takes alot of time and patience to lose weight.
smile
Some of us (me for example) don't have the patience.

>.> yeah, i already think i'm failing at my new method. i've already ordered out twice. Friday - steak and cheese sub with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. with a side of fries and onion rings (i only ate half the sub and saved the rest for lunch the next day, but i went downtown with those fries. OMFG i love fries! emotion_drool ) Saturday - ordered a pasta bread bowl from Dominoes and that sh*t was so greasy, but OMGF soooooo good. emotion_drool and then later that night i made peanut butter chip and mint brownies emotion_drool i can only imagine where my weight is going to be on Thursday when i weigh myself. i fear i jumped back into the 170s. x.x

so considering i failed last week with being healthy and working out i actually lost .4lbs. its really nowhere but it makes me happy to see that i maintained my weight after being lazy and eating junk. :3 now i don't feel like a lazy fat a**.
so in Insanity i started the 2nd month exercises. the max interval exercises... and OMG so intense!!! x.x i'm exhausted. my limbs are dead.
i did the fit test again. most of my current scores stayed close to my last numbers... but having skipped 4 days of work outs during the balance and cardio week i think i didn't pretty good for myself. i know i'll be hurting in the morning or later today
so my fit test, 1. swift kicks - 60 - 105 - 108 2. power jacks - 33 - 46 - 45 3. power knees - 52 - 80 - 90 4. power jumps - 24 - 23 - 30 5. globe jumps - 7 - 9 - 9 6. suicide jumps - 8 - 11 - 11 7.push up jack - 0 - 10 - 13 8. low plank oblique - 30 - 32 - 44 (last number in each row is my current score.)

I've been wanting to work out for awhile now, especially when I ended my fall semester for school. I thought it would be great to get back working out and getting on a routine again.. seeing that I had a month off until spring semester. But I failed at that terribly. I did so happen to maintain my weight for awhile over the break. But sometime after Christmas or New Years I gained some pounds back that I lost awhile ago and that I hoped would have stayed gone. It's probably because I was on a chocolate and sweet crazy and my boyfriend and I often ordered out. =/ Not so healthy. I even noticed when I stopped working out mid-October that sometimes at the end of November my breathing had become heavy again... I refuse to think its my asthma creeping back in. I won't go back on an inhaler. emotion_donotwant Anyways, I started working out here and there this month so far. And I've began eating healthier the last two weeks. And I feel like my breathing is getting back to normal. So from this day on out, I'm going to work out and eat right until I get healthier and down to the weight I want to be! /determined
Okay I shall stop typing now so I can go start my day with a nice work out. 4laugh

Ugh. I'm going to murder myself for not keeping up with this.
I have been eating healthier and I've work out here and there since my last post. But nothing worth recording. This thursday I'll give an update on progress... whether there's progress or not to show. sweatdrop

I hate being reminded I have this thread... because it just makes me realize how much of a failure I've been at losing weight and getting healthier.
Winter break ruined me again... but this time I didn't gain 15lbs like last time. I've surprisingly maintained my weight.
Almost a month ago, I stopped eating sweets (like no chocolate, cake, cookies, candy) and junk food. I want to continue this... and I really want to start working out again, whether it be riding the in door bike for 5-6 days a week (I love reading while riding the in door bike. I always feel like I never have enough time to read, but reading while riding the in door bike is soothing and pass time by quickly) or starting up Insanity again because I'm bummed I never finished the last month of it.
I really want to get down 15-20lbs for August because that's when my sister wants to take me to get my bride's maid gown. ...And I really want to work on my arms for that because you'll be able to see them. ...my thighs I'm not so worried about because if I wear heels my legs look slimmer... and I'm not worried about my stomach so much either because I can just wear a girdle.

Okay, I need someone to help motivate me.
I know I have it in me, but I keep blaming my school work for having no time. Which is true and false, animation does take time, but I stop constantly... and sometimes for a good solid hour or more, where I could get up and work out instead of surfing the web.
I motivated myself to stop with the sweets... now I just need to get my a** up out of bed and do something productive.

Yeah, I havent actually completed insanity yet, each time I get like a month and a bit in, and then because of life I end up some place where I cant easily do it.
I should have another run at it again.
