Oh dear.

Red had quite the interesting collection of books hidden away in there, and just a glance at a few covers caused her face to burn. She could barely handle a relationship, she didn't need any books that were of... uhh...this..variety. Oh no, she'd.... she'd just leave those there.

"Never would have imagined Red read this kind of stuff...."

The ones lacking titles on the spines, however, garnered Shehk's interest. Just as she had with the bookcase that was currently moved, she took one of the books with no name on the spine to see if it was worth looking into.

Malodore flinched, then quickly tried to pinch the edges of the beanbag's tear together so the pellets would stop escaping! "Aymet! Help!" it whispered, urgently.

"Kusssoo..." Shun hissed as he ended up making more noise than he would have liked. Though, there was definitely something in there. Letting out a breath, he glanced do the door. Was it too much noise?

"If something goes down, everyone should try and get into the hidden room," he suggested. It would be cramped no doubt, but hopefully they would all be able to hide in there if need be.

Grimacing, he carefully picked up the package to inspect it.

LOOK-OUT

So far so go—

Hel stiffened as she heard a hissing sound…though it was coming from inside the room.

The ghoul whipped her torso around to stare. Seriously guys!? She was suppose to worry about noises outside the room, not inside! You all better clean that up as best as you can, and the last one in should have closed the door!” Hel hissed, reaching out to close the door as carefully as she could. They didn’t need to rat themselves out, seriously. Her dual tone gazed swept across the hall again, as if this might have alerted anyone…which she hoped it didn’t…

Neither binder had much important in it, so she placed them both back in the top left drawer She then turned to look towards the room where others where poking about, Mal had broken a bean bag and hey wait...

"Red used to read 'Savaged Nights'? I think Siddie has that book in her collection..." Casually outing your ghoulfriend as a lover of high class fluffy literature? Decent way to lighten the mood.

Bringing the
gift box with her to kneel down on the floor Sammy joined Mitsu in exploring the bottom left drawer. The first thing she did was inspect it up close with her glowing eyesight for any sign of scratches or scuffs while pressing her left hand against it gently She turned to the other ghoul poking around under the desk frowning, "Maybe you have to press it in the right spot, or it's FEAR activated..."

The ripping sound made him start, head swiveling to see the accidental damage to a beanbag Malodore and Aymet had done. Uhhhhh. Undead with sharp claws? Time to help.

"Here." Mort approached and began to help put the pellets back in, nervous still from the startling. Had he imagined Hel's voice? Jackdamn it, if she could hear it, maybe someone else could . . ."Pointy fingers away from covering. P-Put stuff in, I will sew back." Mort produced a needle and thread from his pocket to begin trying to help close the hole in the beanbag as it was filled.

He'd learned early in his school career to keep at least one of each on his person, seeing as that was how he kept himself together anyway.

The fur on Mitsu's tail bristled out as Shun made a lot of noise and she could hear odd sounds coming from the small hidden room. What was going on? Mitsu looked to what Shun had uncovered shortly before peeking around the desk to see that the beanbag chair was a bit of a mess. Oh dear.

Leaving it for now Mitsu went back to her puzzle tapping her chin lightly as she looked at the draw that wouldn't open. "The middle draw opened right?" Mitsu asked Shun moving to pull out the left middle drawer entirely to see if she could get to the bottom one that way.

She turned to Sammy as she seemed to have an idea. "Maybe..." Would it be so simple? "Do you see where it might have been opened before?"

Shun glanced to the side towards the two girls that were working on getting into the bottom left. He just nodded quietly to answer Mitsu's question, as he watched her try to get in.

There had to be something relatively important in that drawer if it wasn't easily opened.

Damien watched quietly as the group began to gather around the desk again. the drawers did seem very mysterious. The cool desk was too study for his boot to break even a sliver off from it. He was going to leave the drawers to them for now.

What was more interesting was sniffing the package that was in Shun's hands.
maybe it had bacon in it!

"you think its edible?" he asked quickly, the tail wagging at the emergency supplies of food he was sure the werewolf instructor must have had somewhere.

Seeing how she couldn't really see the floor under the rug properly, she stood up, went over to Aymet, and pretty much dragged him over to the desk, "Uh, could you help me shine your glowing... Orb thing on the floor under the rug please? I'm going to try checking it for any loose stones too... Just in there there is another 'hidden' area."

Well... it didn't seem as if they could gain anything from the little piece of paper, but better to be safe than sorry, so Imryn slipped the piece of paper into her pocket. Once that was done, she poked her head inside the little hiding spot and tried to hold back a little laugh at seeing a few of the ones inside panicing as the chair seemed to be falling apart.

Carefully she eased herself in there with the others and took a quick look around, trying to stay out of the way of the ones trying to patch up the chair. Not sure if there was anything else in there, she carefully began moving the blankets to check if anything was covered or buried within them.

...took one of the books with no name on the spine to see if it was worth looking into.

The volume was worn, the edges scuffed and torn in places. It was an old book with a spine that had been rebound several times.

Okay, so I was given this thing to help deal with my "anger issues." Hyde said to write down my feelings in this instead of expressing them. YOU KNOW WHAT HYDE? THIS IS STUPID! STUPID! How the Jack was I supposed to know that a zombie's arm really will fall off when punched huh?! It's not like there are any zombies here!

Sweet Ice I hate this place. I hate this so, so much. They keep expecting me to follow their little rules that aren't written down anywhere. It's like I'm supposed to know this stuff. YOU KNOW WHAT I KNOW? I know enough to know that THIS IS STUPID!

I want to go home. I want to go home and get out of this stupid place. It's too hot, crowded, and every time I open my mouth to say something it's either wrong or it's something that makes everyone laugh at me. I hate this place. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!

I'll show them. I'll show them all!

And then it became too dark to read anymore as the light source moved away.

Sosiqui
...tried to pinch the edges of the beanbag's tear together so the pellets would stop escaping!

Malodore was able to pinch it, however it still continued to leak. If someone used their imagination a bit, it would look like the beanbag chair is making a face... and drooling its guts all over the floor.

Blade Kuroda
...carefully picked up the package to inspect it.

What was more interesting was sniffing the package that was in Shun's hands.

Damien was right on the money. While the package itself wasn't edible, the contents were: jerky. Not the cheap stuff out of the vending machine, either. This was the ritzy high-class packaging imported from some other Halloween region. This was the tender juicy stuff that had just the right amount of smoke flavor. It was one of Red's favorite snacks.

Lucyal
...reaching out to close the door as carefully as she could.

It was impossible to see the gym from where Hel was standing. While it was true that Red's old office was located in the gym, [t]hat office had been renovated and turned into a locker room for students who identified with neither specific gender. Her new office was one that Red did not have an opportunity to stay in long and was in the main building, sandwiched between two liberal arts professors. The damage she and Arel had caused with their previous disagreement had been repaired and reinforced; it was highly unlikely anything would go through that wall ever again.

And it sounded like someone was coming.

Miliardo Kason
...was inspect it up close with her glowing eyesight for any sign of scratches or scuffs while pressing her left hand against it gently...

It was a solid stone desk. There were no scratches or scuffs to be seen. Pushing against it forced the drawer back, and releasing it let it rock forward. It seemed possible to open it. But how?

Ol-j-man
...produced a needle and thread from his pocket to begin trying to help close the hole in the beanbag as it was filled.

Mort's deft fingers began stitching the bag together. As it was rather dark in that area, the stitching became rather lopsided.

Inu-Mitsu
Mitsu asked Shun moving to pull out the left middle drawer entirely to see if she could get to the bottom one that way.

THUD!

The middle drawer refused to move forward further, forcing the medkit inside it to bang sharply against the drawer's side rather loudly. This drawer would not come out all the way.

Katarina Everard
...slipped the piece of paper into her pocket.

The paper crunches and crinkles rather loudly as it was forced into Imryn's pocket, bending it in all sorts of places. Her pocket was now rather dusty too.

Katarina Everard
...moving the blankets to check if anything was covered or buried within them.

As the ghost shifted through the blankets, one thing was made clear: these blankets were massive. And contained quite a bit of white fur. As massive as the blankets are, however, there are a couple that are rather crude with a distinct "hand-made" flair about them. One in particular looks as though someone attempted to apply a sort of patch or embroidered design to it, failed, but kept it anyway.

Taryn's gaze snapped toward Hel. Alright, intimidation aside... that wasn't good. At all. Her eyes went wide and she glanced back into the room. What to do, what to do?! She couldn't yell, for sure. She gave the door a couple of little thumps with a hoof. ...you guys weren't hearing this?!

demi knew it. he smelled yummy items. It smelled of nothing but meat. And he wanted to just take it around the room for all the canine affiliated students to smell with him. "smells good, really good shun, you getting this?" he whispered softly to the reaper. Did he even appreciate the treats and what it meant?

Either way, Red had good taste in noms as he tried to peel away a piece of the wrapping from the parcel.

HOLD THE PHONE.

Was this a diary?

Shehk almost immediately perked up as she seemed to realize what she was holding. This was a journal of some sort! Had she just found something that was absolutely relative to her interests? Perhaps she had.

She paused when she heard the loud clatter of Red's desk, pressing a finger to her lips. "Careful! Early or not, we might attract attention..." It seemed that one of their lookouts had tapped on the door as well! Which might have just been a sign it was time for them to find somewhere to hide and be quiet!

"Guys, I think we need to take a minute and lay low!" her voice was hushed as she pressed herself back further into that hidden room. She didn't know how many people would fit into that hidden room, but she still made sure to make space in case anybody needed to come into that room to hide with those who were already in it.

Even then, she attempted to read more of the book she held with the glow of her own eyes.
