"Well, Damir, would you please tell him that I am well and that I wish him the best when you see him next?" Zoey asked of him. She wasn't quite sure why she asked it, but she thought it might put the poor stallion's heart to rest.
Looking shyly from Damir to her mother, she felt some awkwardness there and wanted to eradicate it quickly. "Well, mom, aren't you waiting for dad?"
"I am." Zoey said plainly.
"And he's not here yet?"
"No."
"I hate to leave you then, mother, but we were going to do a little exploring. I love you mom." Cece said, hating to leave her mom right now.
"You two have fun then and I love you too, 'Lia." Zoey said with a smile, "It was nice to meet you, Damir. You take care of my girl, okay?" Her question was serious even though she said it with a smile.

"You have my word, though I doubt it'll alleviate the pain in his heart from loosing a beautiful mare such as you. Though I can't complain, seeing as how I ended up with Cecelia." Damir replied, giving Cece a cocky grin. He looked back at Zoey as Cece talked about leaving, and as much as he would love to stay to meet Desmond, he just couldn't get over the awkwardness of meeting Cece's mother. He bowed low to Zoey, his foreleg nearly flat on the ground and his nose touched the grass beneath him. "You have my word that I will always keep her safe, and she shall see no harm so long as she is by my side." He swore.

"Thank you. I hope to see you two soon." Zoey concluded as she gave her daughter one last nuzzle before heading up the slope to the mysterious still unexplored cave.
"Well thats my mom for you." Cecelia said once her mom got out of earshot. Turning to Damir, "I hope that wasn't too awkward for you." She apologized.

Damir bumped Cece with his nose. "Me? Feel awkward? Nahhhh." He teased lovingly. "So where are we exploring?" He asked once they got far enough away.

Cecelia laughed as Damir denied his awkwardness. "I'm not sure. I just thought we might go where ever we like." She said as she looked around them. "Is there anywhere you've ever wanted to go?"

Damir shook his head. "I've been so many places... The only place I haven't been is the city... and I'm not sure I want to go there without a Chosen." He said with a small chuckle.

"That would be interesting. Hopefully, we'll both find our chosen and then we can travel there together!" Cecelia said happily, now they would only have to find their chosens.
