Calder waited for Amrita, making popping noises with his mouth as he looked around, checking his phone and noticing no messages. Damn Barth.
When at last the social butterfly returned, he smiled. "Well...I'm good for wherever. There is still War, Conquest, and Famine. We can try there."

Ratty ears were sensitive and Rafe's insistence on being as close as possible to everyone he talked to came in handy from time to time. He blinked, nervously cleaning his glasses on the hem of his over-shirt, trying to cover for the fact that he was completely about to lose his cool. "What's a hunter?" He veritably squeaked.

Aymet spoke quickly and quietly. "Those horsemen from the vision in Death class... they didn't look like any horsemen I've seen before. Calder, if you know which clan they were, let's go to their island and investigate."
He glanced over his shoulder for a moment. "And soon..."

"See ya!" he called after Amrita before she left, feeling the vibration in his pocket soon after. Ah, if only he could give live feed to Bells - the texts would have todo for now, though he was more careful about the grammar.AyeAvast Will try, but no promises; things have gone bad every other trip, but I'll give whatever's our enemy hell! And no, what's that? He wanted to say "Totally won't die", but that would have negated their whole conversation last time they met face to face. It might have even been insulting even.
As for Raf'es question, well . . . "Bad news," Mort answered with a frown to match Kettil's. "Humans with weapons made from brainwashed Halloween people. Very strong, must stay close. Will protect."
Way to break it to him slowly.

"They were from war. The ones that carolled us into going into the cages. The runes they pushed some prisoners into.....well, Amrita and I have been in that cave before. We could check it out. I know the way." He looked around, and patted Amrtia on the head. "Keep that paper close." He warned her, not knowing if any horsemen might want to take it.
With that, Calder headed back out to the portals.

"What did they look like?" She inquired as she rejoined her group, but it seemed that Calder already had an answer for that. War? So then...they were feathered things, probably with wings. Interesting. The mention of the cave made her visibly shudder, but she didn't need to be told twice about the paper.
With a nod, she folded it up twice more and slipped it away, tucking it neatly into her bra; apparently, it was the safest place ever, so there it would remain.
"Alright then! Lets go!" And to the Death Portal she went.

Imryn had seen a few other students venturing up towards the Temple earlier but hadn't thought much about it. Though now that they were actively looking for where everyone had gone, it was one of the few places left they had to look. She was honestly a little surprised to see how many students were there, considering most of the other places were completely deserted at this point. "Huh... wonder what's going on here..." she mused, waiting for Mitzi to catch up before heading on in a bit farther.

Alex nodded in response to Yin, happy to go over and say hi to Taryn as he had suggested. And so, he allowed himself to be pulled along some more. Holding hands with Yin for such a lengthy period was highly unusual but he had no intention on letting go until the weremantis forced him to. As they approached Taryn, Alex offered her a large smile. "Hello." he nodded, not wanting to actually ask the ghoul if she happened to have any food. He just needed a snack, really. Something to take the edge off of his hunger. Yin had asked her how she was doing and now he and her were having a conversation that Alex didn't really want to interrupt but he also did not wish to sit back and succumb to all of his worries. He needed distractions! And so he threw himself into the conversation. "We don't really know what's going on, either. Just got here too, followed Mort." he answered her. ((investigating))

AyeAvast Text to Bella: Not yet but have a bad feeling; don't worry though, worst case scenario is me putting myself back together, I'm a decent stitcher. Work the stress off with whatever you want, fashionista! Maybe you can help me with my complying.

Well... that hadn't taken long. One moment he was just paces behind Danny, The next he had lost her and had no idea where she was. He looked around frantically, hoping she'd just appear out of thin air. It didn't happen though.
What did appear was a cloaked figure, which looked suspicious. Though Rikki didn't know that he was prepared for what he would find, he chased after the figure, hoping he would somehow be lead back to his ghouldfriend.

"Looks like this is where everyone is," Mitzi commented as she followed Imryn in. She saw Alex and Yin as well, but they seemed busy.
Scanning the room, she felt a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, a familiar but wrong presence she had felt once before. It didn't take her long to find it, knowing somewhat what to look for, and she quickly caught up to her friend. "Remember how I was telling you about a weird door in War? There's one here, too." She gestured towards it, sure the other ghoul would see it once it was pointed out. Was that... some sort of sound coming from down the tunnel? That hadn't been there at the other one.
And then suddenly someone appeared, and on seeing the students, ran into the tunnel. Something was going on. Something very not right.
She grabbed the ghost's hand. "Imryn, I think something's up, and we should check it out." And with that she started pulling the other ghoul towards the tunnel. She didn't want to go there again, just thinking about it gave her a sick feeling in her stomach, but she had recognized that cloak. That was even worse, and she couldn't not follow.

A souvenir? Well...he guessed he could count it as that. After ensuring that the boil was okay, he turned to give the kit a further examination, pausing when he heard the sound of heavy footsteps. Brows furrowed, he glanced in their direction, hoping to catch a glimpse of the group in such a hurry. Why were they wearing cloaks? And what were those tablets? He took one of the small stones from his pocket and ran his thumb over it, wondering if there was any sort of correlation between the two. He'd have to get closer to see.
As the other students began to curiously move in the direction of the door, so did he, staying somewhere in the middle of the small crowd. This wasn't an expedition he really wanted to be leading.
It was a little difficult to see, then, that one of the cloaked figures was running. But the others were moving, and he didn't have anything invested in the temple, so why not move forward himself?
That nagging feeling returned. He clutched the FEAR First Aid Kit close and tried not to think about it.
