Same as the previous lessons, Arynek found that Bulbous was as unfriendly as usual. Today, they needed to infuse their FEAR into the seed, as if a kind of fertilizer...? She collected her seed back, went back to her station. The shadow ghoul found that the seed looked like a little skeleton now!
Their instructor had stressed the important of the proper amount of blood needed. " you only need three drops! Three! No more, no less". Also, he warned that not to use FEAR while bleeding.
Remembering these two key points, Arynek make a small wound on one of her fingers with the needle, squeezed to make the blood out and then carefully monitored the amount dropped onto the seed. "1,2....and 3!" She counted in her heart.
After the instant third drop of blood, she immediately used another hand to wrap around her bleeding finger and removed her hand off the dish. To stop the bleeding, she picked up an adhesive plaster and wrapped around her small wound. =======================

Ok, what's next? The infusion of FEAR was done, it's time to re-plant the seed into a bigger pot so that it had more spaces to grow. Quote: 2- Okay… but you could have done a bit better really. And made less of a mess. (no change) Arrynek carefully removed the seed from the old pot and transferred it to a new "home". It's finished~ She took a look at it, thinking she might be able to do better. There was a bit of earth left on the workstation during the transfer......but it's still okay.... At least, the seed was not exposed Arynek made a shrug. -------------------------------------------------- (no change) ===================== Constructive, +8 Current bonus total

✰ VAITH'S CLASS ✰ ISLE OF FAMINE ✰ WEEK ONE :: DAY FOUR ✰ STAGE ONE: BLOOD ---------------------------------------------------------------
Blood was required? Unwrapping his mini pet, Vaith looked at his hand dubiously. Looking around, he caught several other students pricking their hands. But Vaith decided to take it from the place where the blood was most alive, in a figurative sense. He tugged at the gloves covering his hand, revealing a scarred palm underneath. He decided to draw blood from his wrist instead.
The blood dripped fairy easy, it was simply a matter of stemming it to three drops instead of four or five. He covered the tiny wound with his glove once more, ignoring the tiny stain on the fabric. --------------------------------------------------------------- Vaith:

It looked like Bulbous was in a mood today and frankly after her disastrous attempt to make both a poison and an antidote Mandy wasn’t in a much better one, practically flouncing into her chair. This mood also meant that Mandy defiantly did not have the focus for this stage Bulbous required form them and so when she went p***k her finger figuring it would be the easiest spot to get just three drops from she was wholly unprepared for the stream that followed.
Jerking her hand back she quickly shoved her finger into her mouth to stop her from bleeding everywhere and glared at the thoroughly blood soaked seed.
Well. Hopefully it wasn’t ruined. Or about to kill them all.

Still glaring at the seed like it was a personal affront to her very being Mandy buried, probably stabbing it into the dirt harder than was necessary but it got the job done.

Step 1: (Both) -Remove your wardstone from it’s wrappings, (they will all now be glowing a light gold), or pull up you dead seed, (which will look like a small skeleton). -Taking Back your ward stone or dead seed you need to give it some of your blood. Using the needle, p***k whatever part you like and drop some onto your ward stone/dead seed. RNG 1-5. However many numbers OFF you are from 3, subtract that from your total score. (IE, I get 5, I subtract 2 from my score). Back once again. Hadiyya barely faltered as she entered the familiar tent, and she quickly took her seat, chest raising and falling in obviously shallow breaths. She was getting used to the smell by this point, but it was still a lot easier to handle in very small doses. If she wasn't so fond of breathing... Alas, she was. Bulbous addressed them, irritably, but a flutter of white wings and falling dust seemed to sooth their instructor, and he went on to explain what they would be doing today. It was at this point the djinn looked down at the needle, lips pursing thoughtfully before a soft dusting of powder fell over all of them. By the end of his explanation the ghoul had to agree. The steps themselves were very simple, but she had no doubt they were much harder then they seemed. Eager to carry on with the project, she set to work immediately on removing her seed, now a little skeleton, and setting it on the plank in front of her. Carefully she took up her needle, and after only a slight pause she pierced the tip of her finger with the sharpened end. Crimson blood welled up immediately, and her held her bleeding fingertip over the seed to allow the drops to fall on it, counting them as they landed. Constructive total: 8 - 1 = 7

Step 2: (Constructive) R-planting your dead seed in it’s new container. Roll 1 d4 and check your results: 1- Not very good… Your seed is a bit exposed.(-1) 2- Okay… but you could have done a bit better really. And made less of a mess. (no change) 3- Good. No mess. You didn’t screw it up. It’s planted. Yay you.(no change) 4- Very good, the seed is not only planted but you’re sure you felt a pulse of FEAR from it. (+1) Her three drops soaking into the seed, Yaya brought the tip of her finger to her lips, nursing the tiny wound for a moment or two before getting down to work on replanting her little project back within a larger pot. It wasn't the cleanest pf tasks, but she managed with very minimal mess, and her seed was very neatly buried below the surface of the soil. It was a job well done, in fact she could have sworn she felt the tiniest pulse of FEAR from the tiny skeleton as she was placing it in the pot. She wasn't sure what that meant, but surely it had to be good sign. Constructive Total: 7 + 1 = 8((Previous day's post is all filled in as well.))

Pickles took off the pretty skins. This was like unwrapping a present!
BLOOD TIME. Then he...didn't take out his chainsaw. He wasn't allowed. But he really wanted to. Three was one of his favorite numbers! It was easy to count to. He took off his glove and squeezed out THREE drops!

Now for putting it on a really fat and funny looking scareon pup!
Pickles was good at this, he dressed up Amelia and Goldy and and Mr. Thistle's circus friends all the time.
The teacher hadn't said so, but in addition to the rock, he added some feathers. And some lipstick. He hadn't been allowed to bring a lot of his stuff, so it's probably better not to ask what the lipstick actually was.

Class was getting more and more interesting every day she returned. Or at least it seemed that way to her, since this was the first class like this one that she had ever taken. Tyshina was amazed the minute she walked into the room. Though she tried her best to hide it, anyone who looked at her could tell she was loving every minute of it the second she walked in the room. Though today was just like every other day thus far, and she tried to stay unnoticed at the back of the class.
She carefully listened to the teacher and grabbed her stone from yesterday's lesson. She slowly then removed the stone from its wrappings, and the moment she did she was a little shocked. Since the stone was not plain anymore but a little bit gold. "Wow...." she whispered quietly under her breath as she proceeded to pick up the needle beside her. She then held out her left hand and gently pricked her middle finger. She then held it over the stone and watched the blood fall. Then she moved her finger from over the stone and gently wiped it on her shirt. "I wonder what my blood will do to it," she whispered to herself quietly.

After a few minutes she suddenly heard the teacher say it was time to apply the stone to something. At first she had no idea what they were talking about. Though then she saw the fat scareon subject before her. She turned her head slightly to the side as she observed the new creature. Sure she had seen something like these before but this one was just a lot bigger than the ones she knew of. At a few minutes of staring she went back her task.
Picking up the stone she walked over the scareon and smiled. "Hi," she whispered kindly to the scareon as she carefully placed her stone into the subject's collar. As soon as she slipped the stone in she stepped back two feet and observed it. From her point of view it looked like the stone fit rather well and didn't look like it would fall. So with a smile she returned to her seat and waited for her next task. Score: Des +5

Malodore nodded briefly at Shenny. "I have not learned such things at Amityville, no - I would imagine this variation of the art is unique to this Clan. Mi dispiace." Then their instructor began to speak, and Malodore shifted its focus to the Horseman. It was still fascinated by the odd, almost symbiotic relationship the Horseman seemed to have with the insects colonizing it - and it was especially intrigued when Bulbous pulled out a hand. An actual human hand. It had had a human hand once... Sigh. It bobbed its head in response to Bulbous' words. " Grazie - that is, thank you," it said. "I hope to learn more of your arts in future, if I am deemed worthy to do so."

Enzo had successfully not paid attention last class. This was probably a bad idea. He glanced around at the others, who had nice glowing stones emerging from their wrappings, and quickly rushed over to throw a skin around his for a few minutes, waiting to see what would happen. You gotta' do what you gotta' do, he sighed, and unwrapped it immediately. It was all about symbolism with magic, right? Right. hopefully. The Reaper gave a huff, not trusting this needle business, but gave it a go all the same. iStoleYurVamps ooc: I misread/misunderstood the previous lesson, is there anything that can be done for make-up points?
