Heights. That was just... fantastic. Amrita found other things to focus on; things like the woman speaking to them, or the people around her, or even to some extent the conversations. Just...anything to avoid looking down, or acknowledging in any way that they were all very high up.

She wanted dirt. Concrete. Being buried alive actually sounded a lot more inviting than being in the trees...

But instead of freaking out or screaming like Calder had, the patchwork merely stayed very very still, holding her elbows and trying to not fall apart at the seams.

Riley's energy was refreshing and frightening at the same time. Whisper may not have been close with the ghoul, but she knew she was well respected, strong, and very smart. In fact, she was probably going to benefit most from this program. But Whisper came to the realization that even though she was very suspicious, her excitement for learning was beginning to bloom. After all, not many outsiders would get this opportunity in their lifetime, so why should she squander it? Of course she would still keep her guard up just in case, but why not at least try to pick somethings up?

"This will be a nice change of pace I suppose, from the usual stuff back at school. I just really hope we can enjoy this, and learn in peace. It'd be nice to not have some kind of crazy interruption for once."

Nyyrikki's eye caught a bright head of orange hair out of the corner of the eye, and immediately excused himself politely from Edel and Ulmuka and all the weirdness that was being in that small group of people. While he was more than relieved to know that Edel was okay, he could only take so much awkwardness at feeling out of his element.

He did hesitate a moment when he saw Yin, but he figured being around Danny was worth the inconvenience of being around Yin. The grim snuck up as quietly as he could behind Danny, coming up right behind her to grab her around the waist and lift her in a little circle. "Hey darkling! " He cried before setting her back on her feet and kissing her hair. "Didn't know you had chosen War, too."

"... Yin. Alex." He greeted them as an afterthought.

Shehk shot a look at Sammy. "I'm not dating Jericho! It was a date," she'd bypass that they'd left it on the note of a possible 'second' date. She'd..let Riley be the first to hear about that one. "Just....... I'm never telling you anything ever again....."

She wanted to go dress up in tribal wear and paint herself up like a Warrior now.

It was now that Shun really noticed the mermaid there, looking incredibly pale from the little comments regarding how high they were. It seemed that Mitsu wasn't the only one who had a strong fear of heights.

His gaze shifted over to the group of girls as there seemed to be a bit of teenage drama going on about. Who's dating who and whatnot. It was a little surreal to see this considering what had happened recently. Then again, most of those in the group weren't there. Perhaps things would be different otherwise.

Even so, he couldn't help but sort of give a flat stare at a few of the things he was picking up on.

"I could not take your phone from you!" he exclaimed, slightly horrified at the idea. But at the same time it was making him ridiculously happy that Alexander had thought about it.

But Miss Danny apparently had the power to get Alexander's phone from him. She apparently had no issues using it, but he was watching it, worried. It was not his phone, it was Alexander's, and he was sure that it was expensive. So worried about it? A bit, though not because of Miss Danny really.

She was passing off the phone to him and he took it, holding it as if it both disgusted him and it was a treasure as he tried to get Alexander to take it back. "Fuzzy?" He did not get much a chance to ask her if her eyesight was alright because Rikki was suddenly there, lifting her up and away and in general being a blight to polite society. "Rikki," he responded shortly. Really, the faintest sign that Miss Danny did not appreciate his rather forward attentions and he would be on the war path.

Speaking of war, the Clanswoman was now demanding their attention. It was time to retire to their rooms, or to go exploring he noted. "Shall we? he questioned, directed mainly at Alexander though it could be applicable to all three and then he began to follow the guide.

That was all well and done. After listening to the speaker, Shun moved on his way to explore around some. He'd tackle a training course later on as well.
