Okay, so he definitely needed to practice more in the sand. And sand this size? Not so comfortable. And who knew that sand could be sharp enough to dig into your back? That was what he was mainly focused on, though naturally he was a bit concerned for the zomboil, fearing that he might get injured.

But when he finally spoke he was smiling. He gave him a look that clearly said really? "That was certainly a unique way to get to it, and though I believe it would be a variation on number 25. Perhaps that was 25 B." Then in a smooth, well practiced move he had flipped them so that he was on top and it was the zomboil with his back in the sand, Yin leaning over him looking ever so slightly smug as he straddled him, hands moving to lightly press Alexander's wrists into the sand. "And this would be the next one, number 26."

That...had all happened rather quickly. One second, Alex was grinning down at Yin like a total goofball. The next? He found himself in a position vaguely reminiscent of the time that Yin had pushed Alex down on his bed and straddled him, though this time his arms were pinned down to keep himself from pushing the weremantis off.

His grin had slipped off his face for a moment, but reappeared, though much more mild and hesitant then it had been before. His eyes may have appeared a little bit worried, though he could feel that Yin was only holding down his wrists very lightly.

"Oh really? Very interesting...." He finally said, before very quickly and with some force, pulling his wrists out from beneath Yin's hands, and reaching to wrap his arms around the other boil before rolling to the side in an attempt to be on top again.

Alex apparently liked being on top better.

And Mort just stared, a bit confused, because he was a total deep and was not privy to the relationship these boils had. Awkwardness was not something suspicious to him because, well, he himself was pretty man awkward at times.

It appeared as though Alexander was not okay with how things were playing out, if judging by the way his smile all but vanished was any indication. Yin was just about ready to give up, after all, this was just a demonstration of what he was capable of, when the zomboil surprised him by pulling his hands back and continuing the wrestling match.

Automatically the mantodae's leg sought to gain purchase, so he simply wrapped them around Alexander's waist, using the momentum of the roll to force them to continue moving until they had went a full 360 degrees and he was on top still, though they were no dangerously close to rolling into the wall. This was fun, why did his bonded have to refuse to spar or train with him all the time? Tests of physical strength and training were nice to share. Looking rather happy, and again, smug, he looked down on him. "And this would be 8." Was he enjoying himself? Obviously. It really was not about being on top, it was about getting there.

Alex knew he had Yin, he was rolling to the top and nothing was going to stop him...except for that Yin was wrapping his legs around Alex, which startled the zomboil, and was also forcing them to continue rolling so that while Alexander may have been on top, it only lasted roughly half a second before he found himself pinned down beneath Yin again.

He may have looked slightly disgruntled at that, especially since Yin just looked so damned smug. "So it's a game now, is it? You know what happens to the loser in our games, Yin." Of course, Alex should actually know better then Yin, since he always seemed to be the one to lose. "If I win, I can ask you for anything, and if you win, you can do the same to me. Though to make it fair I think I should win if I manage to pin you just once." his disgruntlment suddenly changed to amusement as a bright grin crept across his face.

Thankfully, this time Alex's arms weren't pinned to the ground as they were still wrapped around the mantodae. He really had no idea how to get the weremantis off of him now, since he was much faster and Alex was obviously an amateur when it came to this. Though could he just....sit up? He squeezed Yin tight towards him, then quickly brought one arm down while still holding the weremantis in his grip with his other. He pushed up from the ground to a sitting position, since Yin still had his legs wrapped around Alex's waist, it wasn't too hard to do, and then scrambled to try and get to his knees and drive himself forward into the ground with Yin beneath him.

He would be on top. He would.

It was a game...now? Had it not always been a game? At least...after the initial fall. Alexander looked a bit angry, and Yin drew back a little, not sure of what to think.

Then Alexander was making it fully a game. One that involved a prize at the end, which was always fun (well, for Yin, because he always seemed to win). "That sounds acceptable." The words were scarcely out of his mouth before he felt himself being bodily moved as Alexander used his zombie strength to crush him against him before sitting up. It was sometimes easy to forget that he really did have brute strength when he wanted to.

Unfortunately for Yin with the squeezing and then the forcing him to the ground so roughly it drove the air right out of his lungs. And weremantis' needed to breath, unlike the undead. He greedily sucked for air, chest heaving underneath the cool zomboil, who actually did not feel so bad against him for once due to the delightfully hot temperature on the beach. "I am hesitant to say that that pin may have counted." After all, it was somewhat hard to keep wrestling when one could barely breathe. He relaxed into the sand, letting his legs slide off from around the zomboil and simply resting for a moment. It was time for Alexander to claim his prize.

Alexander may have gone a liiiittle bit overboard on the crushing/squeezing. It was hard to remember sometimes that Yin actually did require the use of his lungs, though Alex didn't even think of any of that because....

He had won!

He grinned happily down at Yin before letting go of the other boil and pushing himself back to sit and rest for a while. What energy he had regained he may have just used up, which was probably a bad idea considering their present situation.

But it had been fun, damnit!

That didn't stop him from looking around at his team mates a little sheepishly. "Sorry." He said to anybody who might have been watching that little display, before taking another glance over to Yin.

"I'll hold my prize in reserve for later. I have to think about what I want, first." and then "Do you think we should do some more work on the castle?"

The look on Alexander's face certainly took away the sting of defeat somewhat. Though why the zomboil was apologizing was beyond them. They had been wrestling, and they had not destroyed anything nor had they been distracted from an enemy's attack.

"Of course it can wait." Well, now that he looked at it again...they had seemed to knock a few grains of sand out of place along the wall. He quickly replaced them. "Do not worry about it Alexander, the castle seems sturdy again. I patched up any damage that I could see that we may have caused."

Chuppi had been....sort of watching what was going on between the two boys? She didn't quite understand guy love, not that she was against it, though she did have something to say - politely. "Um...perhaps we should keep on the building of the sandcastle, not affections to one another right now?" That was the politest she could be and somehow or another she just kept smashing sand in a pile and hoping for the best.

Hopefully she hadn't sounded jealous - Chuppi wasn't. Just confused that they had seemed so gung-ho about the castle and now were about each other? At least everything was fixed!

The castle was done, sure, but it wouldn't hurt to work on it and make it stronger in the process, right? She hadn't really been able to repair it in the beginning, or help with the crabs, so at the very least the monster was determined to make sure she could buff everything and they would be stronger for it!

Part of her also wondered how the other teams were doing? Just how was this really a trial, building a sandcastle? Maybe she'd ask once she got done with everything.

Well, seeing as all she was doing now was making a mess of things (apparently she wasn't going to be able to help anymore) Chuppi decided it was best to just....pat the sand idly and talk. Maybe the others had a good idea about what was going on because she certainly didn't. Chuppi didn't like facing things without knowing, it made them scary, and even though she was a monster of Halloween she certainly did not like to be scared in any way, shape, or form.

"How is this, all, this castle making in the sand, a trial you think? Is it test to keep it all alive, is that the reason behind it?" If that was all that they were going to be doing then....why call it a trial at all? Why not just a fun contest, or a simple game? Everyone was worked up and worried, herself included, so she couldn't help but be curious. "I had always though trials are the judges of things."

Alex had already felt bad for the small break he and Yin had taken to play around in the sand and have some fun. It had had nothing to do with being affectionate and was more just roughhousing if anything, something Alex had done often with cousins back home....though he supposed the fact that Yin was his boilfriend did make it a little different.

And then Chuppi said something about it, and he felt worse. "I'm sorry." He mumbled again, this time feeling fairly crestfallen and more then a little ashamed of himself as he pushed himself up from the ground to his feet and started walking around the castle in hopes of finding more work to do to distract himself with.

Affectionate? That had been...she thought they were...mortified Yin stared at the chupacabra. Is that what everyone thought? And Alexander was...he was apologizing? Had he thought it was anything other than a game? Oh Great Mantis just..."No, no, no Mademoiselle Temes," he said rather distressed, stressed enough that he forgot that she would not like him saying her name. "It was simply a game."

Wait, had she not sounded entirely happy about the situation? Maybe she...had she wanted to play? He normally did not wrestle with ghouls be if it would make her happy..."If you would like I can wrestle with you? It is really simply for fun and as a test of strength. And I believe that the castle is sturdy enough that we could take a few moments. Wrestling matches typically do not last long." And he could always just let her win, and that would make it go by even faster.

"A game? Wrestling?" Chuppi tilted her head to the side, trying to understand. "Oh, oh, I am very sorry than for mistaking, I am shamed for sounding so harsh then!" Her cheeks turned reddish green and the monster stuck her face into her hands, wanting to disappear very, very quickly. Wrestling was something she knew a little bit about, she and her siblings would play, and now Yin was offering to play with her? She could accept.... "I....sure, we can play but I am to warn you - I was sent to Amityville because I am of the hurting others when I play with them. For a chupacabra I am quite strong."

Chuppi wasn't lying about her strength, only the reason that she'd been sent to the school. She still had the eating disorder, not nearly as bad as it had been though, and the fact she was able to do some strong damage was a testament to her physical prowess. "If you are wanting, we can."

Alex had finished what he was doing with the castle, not feeling like there was anything else more he could do before wandering slowly back towards where Yin was talking with Chuppi, hands stuck in pockets and eyes downcast. He hoped that the group as a whole didn't think less of him because he'd spent some time fooling around when he could have been working.

As he neared the two of them, he caught the tail end of the conversation. Apparently Yin was offering to wrestle with Chuppi, and she was accepting the invitation.

That...actually made Alex feel a little bit better. If Chuppi was agreeing to take a break then it couldn't be so bad that Alex had taken a break as well earlier.
