Altamira

Regal once again gave a nod of greetings. "It is good to see you outside the Ginnungagap." He raised his hand to his chin. "Speaking of the Ginnungagap, were you not bound there when we last met?"
He wondered why Richter was suddenly out and about. "In any case, I have news that may concern you. Recently, people from other worlds have started appearing here. I have heard reports of similar incidents elsewhere." Richter was, of course, probably caught up in the matter, but he informed him just in case. "What do you make of this?"

Fooji Mountains

Jade walked in his own pace with his hands behind his back. Hearing Blaze mention that she thought about investigating the streak in the sky from earlier, he smiled. "Well now, great minds do think alike." He said with a cheerful tone. "I was planning on doing the same actually. It doesn't look it could be like a form of hyperresonance however." He thought for a moment then shrugged. "Too bad really, it would've gave me a sign that someone I know is here."

Richter fixed his glasses. "I don't see any harm in it. I doubt I could do this on my own." He glanced at the four people Regal was previously talking to. "Will they be joining as well?" He wasn't sure what the visitors would do. Some were traveling as he made his way to Altamira, but he'd seen others settling down until they could get home. Mainly int he Houses of Guidance. At least, for a while. "Altamira has gathered a most peculiar group. Is that a bunny?" He himself never really liked bunnies. It wasn't a phobia or hatred. He just always found them to be a bit useless. They didn't really do anything. But, he'd never seen a bunny person before. This was going to be a very interesting journey.

Gaoracchia Forest- World Plains

"You're in a Cheerful mood aren't you Rei. I like it!" Lord looked over towards the village that Rei had pointed at, "Cool, I like the look of the place, kinda reminds me of Zen Gardens back home, though without the animated drums, lanterns, dolls, and fluffs running around causing havoc. Looks peaceful enough." He jogged ahead of the group, "race you there, slowpokes." He then took off towards Mizuho without a second thought.

Altamira

Major was fumbling with his hands, glancing around at the group that had assembled every now and then. He felt overwhelmed at what had happened. He even forgot about looking for Lord and Lee for a moment. He then noticed that Regal was headed back towards them, "Mr. Bryant who was that man you were talking to? A friend of yours?"

Blaze - Fooji Mountains

Blaze kept a neutral expression as she stared forward, but sweatdropped at Jade's remark about "great minds thinking alike". Was it a compliment? A joke? She wasn't really sure how to react to either one. Also shrugging, she responded, "I just feel I need to get closer to it to be able to tell if it involves any of the Sol Emeralds." She looked up at Jade once more, curious. "But what is 'hyperresonance'?"

Azura and Kratos - Tethe'alla half of the Great Tree

Azura lightly pounded a fist in her palm, a gesture she does when she gets an idea. "Aha. Clearly, the comet needs a closer look to be better understood...is that why you expressed a slight interest in my spacecraft, Sir, uh...Yuan, right?"

"Yes. Technically, the Eternal Sword does hold the power to send people up there, but we should consider that the atmosphere on the comet could be the same as that within the shadows. We'd be sending people up there ill-equipped, but a vehicle may be able to provide proper protection. I'd like to have it studied and hopefully replicated at the Renegade Base."

She winked and gave a thumb-up. "You don't have to ask me twice. Will you be sending people up Chartreuse's way?" When she got a nod in response, she pulled out a communication device. "Then I'll have to give her a heads-up. She really gets in a zone when she's working with machines, and they might get a nasty surprise if they startle her." o-o;; With that, she turned aside to contact her friend.

While she was doing that, Kratos asked, "In the meantime, what more could be done?

Yuan shook his head and made a slight shrug. "At this point, I'd wager all that can be done is to continue observing what happens to the world as it unfolds. Pursue the shadows, perhaps. Fight and defend where necessary." After a short pause, he asked, "Say, Kratos...what made you decide to return?"

"..." That question was followed by another moment of silence, perhaps a beat longer. The auburn-haired seraph made an aside glance. Then, looking back to his old friend in the eye, he replied, "I think I realized what it truly means to have left my son behind like that."

"...I see." He smirked at that reply, perhaps out of amusement or satisfaction.

Finished with her call, Azura turned back to the two and spoke up again, smiling. "Alright, everything's clear. Char will keep a lookout for your team, Sir Yuan."

"Your cooperation is much appreciated. You're welcome to drop by the base and borrow some Rheairds in order to travel between Sylvarant and Tethe'alla."

"Rheairds? Ooooo, I'm excited to see what those are like. That's our next destination then, Sir Kratos?" emotion_c8

He nodded. "Yes. We shall be on our way now." Then, he turned for the path exiting the area. Azura gave a nod to Yuan as well and followed behind.

Altamira

Regal arrived outside the hotel once again. "Richter is a friend. He was just wondering about you. For example, he wondered if you were a bunny." The last sentence was directed at Bunnie.
He stood between them so that they could all hear him. "Actually, due to these events, we were wondering if you might come with us. He and I are going to investigate the matter of the comet Zeal, which appears to be related to the strange events of late."
He raised his hand slightly, signaling that he was about to say something of great importance to them. "It also seems that he has some knowledge of why you are here."

Blaze - Fooji Mountains

Blaze sweatdropped again at Jade's explanation. "Really, I should have expected more terms I'm not familiar with. I've no clue what 'isofons' or 'fonists' are either."

She began to notice that they were surrounded by less and less trees along their path. Shortly enough, the two had reached an open field. In the distance, a stone wall enclosure could be seen, with the very tops of a castle peeking out. Unbeknownst to the two, it was the city of Meltokio, the capital of Tethe'alla. "What luck, a sign of civilization already."

Blaze quickened her steps, though not too fast that she would leave Jade too far behind. But as she drew closer to the gates, the guards there looked at her apprehensively. When they pointed their halberds at her, she came to an abrupt stop. "Back, foul beast! You shall not enter and harm the inhabitants of the kingdom!" Because she bore the appearance of an animal, they thought her to be a monster.

The cat princess creased her brow at being called a "foul beast", but kept silent about it. She took a step back and stood upright, folding her arms. "I do not mean any harm at all. I am only trying to figure out where I am."

The guards shared a look of surprise and alarm. "It spoke!" the one at the left exclaimed. "What are you, some sort of trickster demon?" the one at the right retorted.

Azura and Kratos - World Plains

The two were now at the outer edge of the forest surrounding the Great Tree, having reached a western exit. In the distance, Kratos could see the walls of Sybak. "Our destination is due east, but are you in need of any sustenance? In any case, it would be wise to make a stop at that nearby city first. We need to stock up on necessities for our travel." He himself had no need for food, but he minded the needs of his companion, as she was still only mortal after all.

Azura placed a hand over her stomach, muffling the soft rumbling it was making. Sheepishly, she replied, "Eheheh... sweatdrop ...That depends. Might this be able to pass as valid currency here? It's genuine gold." With her free hand she took out a sample of her home world's money, a gold coin with a simple "G" emblem on both sides.

"I cannot be completely sure, but perhaps. However, I still have on my person some native currency, so you need not concern yourself with providing payment."

She put her coin back in her pocket with a humbled expression. "My, you're generous. I'll try not to be too imposing."

The two continued on toward the Academic City.
