His grin only widened, "Why, yes I am! In fact, it was Junko who directed me to you... I wouldn't have known how to find you otherwise!" He led her to Table Four, where a large snake was waiting; she gave the fairy a little wave with the end of her tail.
"Hello, darling!" She greeted, the fact that Astra was rather small not really bothering her, "I'm Bisssskoto!"
Thanatos pulled out a chair, gesturing for the ghoul to take a seat, "She's my familiar." He explained, "I believe that you had just asked me a question... So it's my turn!" He reached for her card, stamping it before leaning against the back of the chair, putting his weight on it, "What compelled you to sign up for this little event?"

"Wow, Really?" Astra grinned, her eyes traveling the crowd to see if she could spy Junko anywhere nearby. "Junko is really nice ghoul, isn't she? She's always been very friendly to me" Nodding, she followed the reaper towards the table, where she paused, gazing at the Snake on the table. It was beautiful, with is white and black markings and the big brown eyes. And yet, she felt a slight twinge of fear; the last snake thing she had gotten closer to her had constricted her to death. When Biskoto introduced herself, she grinned back, pushing her insecurities away. "Hello to you to. My names Astra, and I have to say, you're a very beautiful snake." She then sat down, thanking the reaper when he pushed her chair in, then listened to him ask a question of his own. "Ah! Well, I'm always curious about whats happening in the school, and when big events happen, I just can't help but join in. I don't like to miss out." As she saw Thanatos take her card to stamp, she then reached for his, stamping the item then handing it back. "Okay...so now it's my turn to ask a question...umm" She thought for a moment. "Do you like it here at the school? Or are you finding it difficult to be at this school?"

"She is," He agreed as he pushed in her chair, making sure that she was comfortable before taking his seat, "Ah, I can certainly understand that... I do like in here at the school. It is... Different from what I am used to, but I have to say that it is different in a positive way." Another stamp went on Astra's card.
"Ohhh, thank you Assstra!" She grinned a snaky grin, forked tongue flicking in and out as she leaned towards the ghoul, able to sense... Some sort of discomfort from her, "Are you... Frightened of me?" Her eyes widened in surprise.
Thanatos raised an eyebrow, "Well, I suppose that Biskoto here just asked my next question for me!" It counted, right? A familiar was a part of a reaper's fear, after all.poke mattix 2nd stamp for you, yeah! >D

Astra shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her smile faltering as the snake had already noticed her discomfort. "No no, I'm not afraid!" She reassured the snake familiar. "It's just...not long ago, there were some weird monsters that attacked the school...and one looked like a snake...and it wasn't very friendly". 'not very friendly' was a very light way to put it. The antenna on her head twitched about as she blinked, realizing that Biskoto had indeed asked her a question. While she placed a 2nd stamp on Thanatos card, she thought up something else to ask him. "Umm, oh, I know! How long have you and Biskoto known each other?"

"Oh dear," She looked worried before perking up, slithering to the edge of the table so that she was near Astra, "I assure you that I am not one of those!" In fact, she was looking at the ghoul in such a way that she looked like she was hoping for head pets, or something along those lines.
"Hm? That is a tough question to answer," He laughed, although he was always glad to talk about his familiar, if given the chance, "Biskoto and I had been together a long time, since I was a scareling. When I summoned her, she was still very much a baby... So you could say that we had been together for a majority of our life."
He smiled fondly at the snake, giving her body a pet.
"Perhaps this is a little sudden," He started, his voice dropping to a whisper as he leaned forward, making sure that Astra would be the only one that could hear him, "But since you sound like you had been a student of this school for a while now, what are your thoughts on the... Conspiracy theory, regarding a group of radicals that the students seem to believe are... The same hunters that had only been heard of in stories?"

"Hrrrmmm they are rather soft and fuzzy.... and for the most part my mice are nice there are some days they can be little terrors and chew holes into everything in my room just because they are a little upset... or they shred my music....." Now that he was thinking about Merel was sure to do such things as soon as they got back considering he left her alone at the minipet pit. Singing Lepus? He could barely imagine one lepus let alone an entire singing room full, though considering he had a room full of squeaking mice he guessed that a room full of lepus was pretty crowded and loud. "Errrr I don't think I have a singing lepus but are they good at singing and isn't it a little crowded in the room?.... but I do avoid snakes.... and cats because they tend to eat mice and terrify them... I like most birds as long as they don't try to eat my mice and fish are ok? They aren't as interesting as mice... But some birds have really pretty singing voices that I like to hear..." Joachim replied with a slight nod of his head, owls were definitely not on the like list despite being good friends with Muka. "Hrrmmm...... is there anything you don't like? Errr.. I mean like a type of minipet... or something?" He replied tapping his chin for a moment before remembering that the should have stamped his card as well considering it was likely he would forget when he left. Carefully he pressed the stamp in the box it was designated for and put the card down, there was a good chance he wasn't going to fill it but at least he would try. iStoleYurVamps Thought I would stamp before I forgot XD

Oh jack mice did that? That wasn't very nice of them. Maybe they were just hungry for cheese. "Maybe you should keep cheesy treats around to distract them? I keep legal documents around to keep my contract treat from trying to turn boils into magical boils. It's hard. It keeps using up all my paper." Ear wings fell back as he sighed. It was such a cute minipets but so high maintenance. "But no! It's really nice. They all sing very well actually! The lepus I mean. And they rotate and are all out when I want to practice with some company. They are very well behaved. But oooooohhh" He nodded. "I didn't think about that. But what about blue birds. My feathers are based of of their feathers!" Bouncing in his seat he went on. "Nope! I like allll minipets! Even my death charm! And oohhhh stamps!" Stamping away happily he felt like a scareling on his birthday. "Oh oh have you even been a magical boil?" 6 asked, 5 answered

Stamps? Oh, stamps! He'd forgotten to do that before with each question he'd asked. Hastily Mort snatched one of the stamps available on their table and filled some of Merope's card. "Think is winding down, methinks . . ."

Table 6
West felt as if something was being taken from him the further he moved away from the tatzel, but making sure his damn scareon wasn't trashing the school was kind of important. He had promised he'd be right back anyway. What could possibly happen in two minu...
Why was his name listed on that board?
He caught sight of Belladonna across the room and hurried over to her. Despite her wondrous attributes, she was no Levi, and the muzziness fogging his brain lifted a bit in her presence. Her name was right next to his. Maybe she knew what in the hell was going on.
"Hey, uh, why'm'I on that board? Oh, an' it's good t'see you." He might not have been feeling unbearably lovey-dovey toward her or anything, but West was glad it seemed that she hadn't been killed or kidnapped by Hunters recently. He dropped into a chair at the nearest table. If he was going to be catching up, at least he would do so sitting down.

Table 4
Seating himself down now with a much wider understanding of this "Scarentines", King figured he would not be so much as ask the more personal questions. He'd even gone so far as to write down a note card with questions. None of them had any notes about mating or courtship even. He thought of it as progress. There were also notes on what topics to avoid, like questioning authority.
Tail flicking, he waiting for his partner to join him, whoever they might be.

Table 6After a too-long moment in the crowded auditiorium, Belladonna was finally paired with someone. And not just anyone. " Westy!!" The witch bounded over to the boil, jumped on her toes and gave him an extra big hug. It didn't much matter that they hadn't been particularly close, it had still been a while since they had seen each other. "The board? Oh! We're paired up for getting to know each other." The witch cocked her head with a smile and held up her blank card. "When we ask each other questions we get points! I don't think that one counted as a question though..." West lead her to a table and with a great flourish, Belladonna sat down. After a moment of making sure her skirt was all tucked under the table (er, as well as it could be tucked under, most of it seemed to be billowing up around her) she turned and looked at West. "So. Have you been well? You look so nice!" She paused for a moment, looked under the table and then straightened back up. "You got taller too." That wasn't a question, more of a statement that West was free to agree or disagree with.

Amarus was lagging behind in her punch-things-in-the-face quota. Silently, she sulked towards the list of pairs, to find her new partner. King...? Again, she had no idea who this was, so she hoped she'd be able to find him. Well, she had to ask a few students, yet again, and was extremely tempted to punch the unhelpful ones in the face just to fulfull her quota, but there was just something... lacking about that. Just because she really wanted to follow through didn't mean she should sacrifice quality.
Finally, having found out what King looked like, Amarus was able to locate him fairly easily: he was very... blinding, compared to her own colours. She walked along the floor, a couple inches above it, as if she stood on invisible solid ground, her bound hair trailing behind her. The lotus charm, now and again, would catch in the light. Her bells made being stealthy impossible: as she approached the table, they made it quite apparent that someone was moving in for the kill.
Or, in Amarus' case, to grab the chair across from King. She sat cross-legged on her chair and leaned in, her eyes narrowing briefly, then returning to normal. Their outfits were somewhat reminiscent of one another, in cut, Amarus thought; more than anyone she'd seen so far, anyway. Curious. "You're King, right?" she asked. "Just so we get this out of the way now, how do you feel about... friendly sparring?"

King had no face punching quota just yet. But, given the fact that he was new and hard to rile, he didn't think he'd need any sort of face punching quota. Plus he was much more a fangs and claws type. Mostly fangs. That aside, he smelt her before he saw her, a pleasant floral scent coming from the distance. Slightly soothing, making his tail swish back and forth on the floor lazily.
When the ghoul sat down, he realized the scent was coming from her. Curious, but not bad. She seemed agitated but, it didn't bother him. "I am King, or formally, Frost in the Storm. But King is what I am going by here for ease." Taking a moment to get up from his chair, he bowed. "It is a pleasure to meet you miss." Sitting back down he nodded. "For you to know me I am to guess you are Amarus. And I enjoy sparring. It keeps me on my toes and a step ahead of my pack at tourneys. Why do you ask? Er, if you wish for a match between ourselves I am not adverse to such."
The scent in the air made him sign, and small smile on his lips. "Forgive me, you smells quite pleasant. I am not bored it just as ah-" His ears flicked. "nice. What are you might I ask? I am a white wolfos from the north. Recently enrolled."

It wasn't that Amarus was angry, per se, it was more like.. habit. She expressed herself poorly on a regular basis, unless it was in motion, during a fight particularly. So long as she could keep herself busy and keep herself active, she felt fine; it was only put in a situation where she was bored and couldn't nap that she had a problem. However, because King seemed so relaxed, Amarus could feel herself pay attention to the lotus smoke and mellow out a little. She shook herself out, bells jingling, tilted her head back, and let out a long breath, taking a breath in. She folded her hands into To: the symbol for harmony. Alone, these gestures had no power to Amarus, they merely allowed her to focus her mind and clear her thoughts to meet one goal.
In this case, she was mellowing out and trying not to focus on her quota. Besides, King was strangely polite, and even if she was... not exactly well-mannered, she had no reason to be rude. "King, or Frost in the Storm? Hmm... That sounds like a name with a reason," she wondered aloud. Her face perked right up when King said he enjoyed sparring. "Good!... no, no, I won't fight you now but I just don't get along well with someone who can't fight." Was that weird? Amarus wasn't really sure... but it was true. She loved seeing someone with courage, or strength, either of the heart, of the mind or of the body. Strength in all its forms was what Amarus cherished.
But it didn't hurt that he felt favourably about an eventual sparring match. Amarus was always competing to be the best; it was just what she did. Her mirror-blank eyes softened a little; to see him react to the lotus smoke equally reassured her. Lately, so many had been immune to it that it stressed her out. If it mellowed someone out, Amarus herself was a lot more calm and easy-going. "I'm glad you think it smells nice.. It's from my essence." Her "blood," so to speak, even if she was a ghost and did not particularly have blood in the traditional sense. "The concentrated version is a lot stronger, but I don't like walking around with open wounds."
"Mark of the Lotus Eater, which is what I am." Amarus bowed her head to King, bells jingling. She readjusted in her seat to sit almost respectfully, though she tapped her fingers on the side of the seat. "A white wolfos.. from the north? So you know where you've come from, then?" She looked, as far as Amarus' emotions went, pretty sad for a moment. Amarus didn't know anything about who she was or what she had been once, not even enough to know what her purpose was. "You have... memories?"
