Julio barely had any time to grab a smoke before the next creature came bursting out of the portal. This one was even uglier than the last. As with the last time, he decided to start off by forming some barriers. One around himself and one around another girl. "A little boost for you, senorita!" he called out to her. After that was done with, he turned his attention towards the monster. It.. looked like a female? Maybe. So, he gave it a brief bow before readying his weapon.
"Apologies... uh.. senorita? But you do not belong in this world. Off you go!" he said to it before moving in for an attack. He came close to the creature, thrusting his sword staff forth to stab it in the chest.

"Took who?" Zoey blinked before she caught on as Lucas reloaded and shot again. She never did get the point of naming the runic weapons; they were rentals after all, and probably not the same one was used more than twice in a row. For instance, she knew this hand torch's grip was different, meant for larger hands.
"Oh. Sorry to hear. Lemme give a hand?" With that she flipped on the hand torch's mechanism and began spraying a healthy amount of fire upon the monster in the portal. "Better lighting should help!"

With a smirk, Julio pulled his weapon out before spinning quickly. As he came back around, he swung the bladed end powerfully at its head. It effectively finished off the FEAR creature.
After it was gone, he straightened up and flourished his weapon briefly.

[ HEALING ] ((IGNORE THIS ROLL, didn't see they died.))
Jess unclenched her grip on the barrel of her gun and deftly slung it back over her shoulder.
"s**t, better go heal while I still can" She made a mad dash towards the healing station to get herself patched back together. Thoughtfully looking around to try and see who else was aching.

[HEALING]
As soon as the monster was killed Clint headed for the healing station to get healed. Two fights in a row, it made him a tiny bit worried--not that he couldn't handle it, but the monsters were coming quickly, weren't they?
How soon would it be before they had more than just one at a time to deal with, he wondered as he got patched up.

"Hmm? Seth's a kid I met in the cafeteria earlier. Dylan's a familiar face. Jamisson is..." she was smiling wryly at this point. "He's Jamisson," she finished simply before giving Seth a nod of approval for his performance against the creature. "Heh, looks like Julio's true to form," she noted at the barrier that suddenly surrounded Cathy.

Megan was just kind of chilling. She kind of wanted a beer. Why the ******** couldn't she go get a beer? Ah the life of the hunters was cruel indeed.

s**t. It was that guy again she mentally flinched as Clint showed up. Outside though she was smirking. Ear to ear at him.
"Getting your a** handed to you too eh?" Her tone mocking. Yes, this was her idea of being /friendly/.
At least the smirk was knocked clean off her face as she winced with a soft hiss. Why the hell does everything you put on an injury have to feel like salt?

Clint looked at her, his eyes cold, his expression hard to read. "Staying in top form is how I lived to be as old as I am," he said almost blandly. "Maybe you didn't notice the Sun Hunter symbols on my coat." As in, Clint SPECIALIZED in fighting head on. That he was twenty-four and still doing it said a lot. But still, it wasn't a ripe enough old age to die at, he thought as he turned and looked at the portal again, picking up his ball and chain from where he'd set them down to get healed.

((Healing!!))
Mya had stumbled away from the first monster, pain shooting up her cut leg with every jerking step she took. She could feel the warm and sticky flow of blood as it dripped down her calf, leaving a trail of droplets behind her.
God damn that stings! She thought to herself, gritting her teeth and getting her a** over to the hospice to get herself sewn and bandaged back up.
"Come on, hurry it up!" She almost yelled at the poor female who was doing her best to close the wound and wrap it. Mya could see that the first monster had been killed, but another one had quickly taken it's place. "I need to get back out there! Who taught you to wrap a wound, a monkey?? Give me that!" She snagged the bandages away from the woman, and proceeded to wrap her leg up herself, tearing off the end with her teeth and tying it tight.
The effort was a lost cause, however, as she could see the second monster going down beneath the attacks of several hunters just as she got finished up.

"You say that like they're impressive." She cackled rather sharply at him. "They aren't." At least that she wasn't saying just to be a d**k. She meant it. She had no respect at all for sun hunters. Seeing them as fussy little snowflakes.
Still. They were all going to be dying together most likely or she wouldn't even bother speaking to one. That stupid obnoxious little smirk returning to her face now that she was all in one piece again.
"So Sunflower, what's your name or can I just write 'Sunflower' on your tombstone?" Her gaze began to wander at the others that came through to heal up too. Quietly wondering if there was anyone more tolerable to try and get along with.

((Healing)) Seth was quite happy to see that creature die and he sorta hoped that there would be more of them as the adrenaline was starting to flow and he wanted more of it along with the pain. He returned that nod of approval to Gabby with a smile and a nod. Biding his time to look his weapon over to make sure that there weren't too many dings, he liked to keep it as clean and perfect as he could as it was what kept fate in his favor.

"Ah," She replied with a nod before looking over at Seth and flashing him a sort of wry smile as greeting; don't get attached. Don't start liking people. Don't grow any sort of an emotional attachment. Those with their friends still alive right now are... The lucky ones. Most hunters die young, on the job.
"... ... Yeah, I suppose," She shrugged, breaking out of her poker face to just look awkward, sighing internally at the fact that she had somehow gotten tangled up with yet another person, even if it was a brief encounter with someone she wasn't well-acquainted with at all; what happened to her awesome 'blend into the background at large group missions' skills?
"Thanks, Julio.... Uh, senor?" She flashed the man a weak grin in appreciation before turning her attention away from him, practically staring a hole into the portal; maybe he won't find her interesting enough to bother. Yup.
