[If this was a real Lion King movie, then these two would be singing right now, and Ayita would start a new number soon.]
Musa wasn't convinced by the king's words. The king rarely slept at all. If the cub woke during the nights or silently watched the lionesses bring a kill to the cubs, the king was always, always, awake. It wasn't healthy at all to see. "Uh-huh, the pride seems to think opposite of that. They're all sleeping. Hunting is for the night anyways." The mud-colored cub noted, knowing that was the coolest time for lions to hunt. The sun wasn't beating down on them quite as furiously as during the night. Animals were easier to kill during the night because they were tired as well. They don't have the luxury of sleeping most of the day away.
[Does your Ayita have a crush on my Issa? xd I'm joking, but still, he-he.]

The cub caught on quick. It seemed Soyali should just keep smiling and chuckling. Ah, this little Musa would make a fine king in his later years. Quite likely, in a couple. Finally, it appeared the king however was actually getting sleepy. Now it was time to fight it, as the sun was drifting down. He could however fake it easily, which was more of a case typically. "Aye." Eyes continued to kept themselves shut. After a couple of minutes it was now permanently clear that the cubs words had gotten to him. The Kind King was drifting asleep. Actually drifting asleep. Into the world of dreams.

Musa watched the gentle rise and fall of King Soyali's chest, taking in the signs that the king had finally drifted into sleep. He would remain by his king's side until he was sure he was deep in sleep. Once he was sure, he would join Abaeze on top of the rocks and sleep curled with her. She was sure going to be stiff in the morning.

Ayita already knew that she wasn't going to be able to drift back into sleep. There was no possible way. So, using the night as an excuse, and remembering she hadn't actually brought a carcass to the pride today, she got up to head out. Padding softly by the others she easily made it past. Hopping down the stones, the head huntress landed with ease. Now it was time to head to the graveyard. On the way back she'd bring something for the pride for breakfast. Eyes narrowed. Good plan. That was besides the point. It was bugging her and she was going to get answers. So off she went.
(maybe she does maybe she doesn't xD or it's just really bugging her. and crappy post is crap.

Looking around the pride, Jawara sat on his haunches. The lionesses had begun to leave, taking with them some of the cubs for the young lions could learn how to hunt. Some of the warriors, including himself, would attend to the hunting party to ensure the safety of the cubs. Shaking out his mane, the male lion rose to his paws and followed the lionesses and cubs silently. He listened to the hushed, yet excited whispers of the young members of the pride. They could only imagine taking down a kill themselves.
[Exit Jawara to Pridelands.]

{Enter Jawara from Pridelands.]
Jawara settled down as he watched the lions devour the meat Ayita had caught for them. They still needed to present the kings and queen with the main body of the kill because it was the most delicious and nutritious part of the animal. The heart, liver, and other organs were always sought after in a kill by the males and females.

Having helped carry up the main part of the water buffalo, the creature who's name she had not known, with the help of Jawara. Ayita was headed up towards the king's den to seek Manaba and Soyali. Once she was to get them she would head over to Abaeze and little mudball. Letting herself be amused at the simple thought of the little cub as a mud ball, it made the long walk up the pride rock a little bit faster then before.

Musa had left King Soyali's side once the king had fallen into a deep sleep. The little brown cub had enjoyed sitting on top of the jutting rock, but he knew it would be foolish to be proud of it. He still had done a terrible thing today, and his sister was still injured. He had settled himself down beside Abaeze as the day turned into night. The hunting party left with many of the cubs and several warriors. They seemed to have been gone for ages until he heard the familiar chatter of cubs and lionesses. His eyes spotted Ayita returning home last with the warrior Jawara, and two other warriors. They were carrying meat for the kings and queen. The chatter of the returning lions roused Abaeze from her sleep, much to Musa's dread. He hoped she wasn't going to scold at him now that she had time to sleep on what happened earlier. "Musa, what's going on?" The lioness yawned, still drowsy and aching from the way she acted. "Ayita and the other lionesses have returned from hunting." He informed her, not missing the look of disappointment in her blue eyes. The light-colored lioness did not like being unable to feed herself and him.

Paws silently hit the old and ancient stone of Priderock. Half closed green eyes continued to stare on forward. As she continued to head up towards the den of the kings. The one to be searched for was the dark maned form that was the sibling. Matching in pelt color and eyes. Same parents but a few apart. Looking up beyond the distance, there was the sight of what seemed to be a ghost. The white form illuminated by the light of the moon. Making the large frame seem to be invisible. Stepping aside and not truly paying attention, the head huntress did not need permission to enter the home of the great ones. With her stand in rank it did not matter. Through the darkness, a dark form only noticeable by the brown pelt instead of black mane, layed Manaba. Ayita approached the sleeping king and lightly swiped at his ear with a paw, not meaning any harm. Just a simple act to wake him up, which seemed to work. "Hyena brain, food. Up."
Having been in a deep sleep Manaba jumped when he felt his ear being even touched. Jumping to his paws, his ears pinned up against his mane and bared his sharp fangs even at his sister. It took a few slow seconds to realize just who it was. Not very many were brave enough to wake him up. He may not be the smartest of them all but he had his moments where he was able to inflict great damage to just about anybody. Had gotten in a scuffle with a past king, may the old ones soul rest in peace. "You could have just nudged me." Yawning he went and pressed his nose against his sister's shoulder as a way to say he hadn't meant it. It was there little thing. "So what was that about food." The fool had been sleeping and thinking for majority of the day so he was a little hungry indeed.
The sound of many moving amongst others had filled the air. Many paws moved vibrations that could travel. Soyali was awakened and truly did not do anything. The large frame of the giant white king did not move from his spot. For a few single minutes. Eventually getting to such large paws, he yawned. Turning around he bounded down the slope. He might as well eat something. Wasn't too often the king ate. Like Ayita, let others eat before. He would simply lay and watch. Little conversations with others. Get attacked by full playful cubs until they knock out from being too tired.

Abaeze flicked Musa's nose as he tried to keep her still. The mud-ball seemed worried about her injuries, but the lioness repeatedly told him she felt much better. A good nap had done the trick for her, though she was still sore and aching from the fight with the hyenas. Pushing aside her brother once more, Abaeze gathered her haunches and bounded down the rocky ledges of Pride Rock until she reached the level where the kings slept. She spotted Ayita waking her brother, King Manaba, from his sleep. King Soyali was also awake, but, like their head huntress, he was refraining from eating until the others had been fed. "Ayita, what have you brought us tonight?" She called, feeling guilty that she did not participate in the hunting party. It felt terribly wrong not helping her pride, and instead lounge around during the day and part of the night.

As Ayita headed back down the rock towards the pride, she was just pondering what part of the giant water buffalo to serve her friend and little bud ball. It occured to her to give them part of the torso of course. As brown paws hit stone and she headed down, it was easy to bound over a few rocks and larger stones. At Abaeze's side she grumbled an answer, feeling the exhaustion of the hunt starting to get to her. "Wildabeast.." The green eyes of her's glanced to the other lions who had already eaten. Fat and full from the hunt beyond into the pridelands. Looking back at her brother and the mighty Soyali, she felt glad for getting the giant beast.

"Wildebeest...You hear that, Musa?" The lioness called over her shoulder as the cub broodingly approached them. "Yeah, I heard her. Ayita, you should rest. You look beat." The lioness snorted, rolling her eyes and flicking his nose with her tail. She knew he was just as hungry as she was, but it didn't stop her from silently agreeing with him. Ayita did look tired. "My Huntress, for once, I agree with Musa. You appear exhausted." Musa growled at her, not amused by her joke as she gently prodded the head huntress' shoulder with her nose. The cream-colored lioness did not want her precious friend to work herself to death. It wasn't dignified for the lioness nor acceptable in any case.

It was comforting to know that her friend and the young mud ball were concerned about her. Ayita could feel the same gaze coming from the great kind king. Manaba as well. It was common knowledge she tended to overwork herself and not provide for her own body. Once she passed out and didn't wake for two days. SInce then she's been a tad bit better. Eating instead of not eating and straight hunting. She simply just waits. It was amazing she could go so long without food. Trained her body she guessed. But exhaustion was not something she could learn to battle. It happened. And just as she was about to open her maw and reply with a she was okay, her eyes rolled back and she made a thud against the rock. Off to sleep she was. Exhausted was a lack of a better word. A word that didn't exist.
Seeing the large frame of his sister fall to the stone floor, Manaba darted forward in a hurry. Trying to at least with the limp he had. When another one of the males rushed forward to help, he bared his fangs at him for him to back off. Ayita was his sister. It was instinct to protect her even if the others were friends. He did no such thing however to Soyalit or Abaeze. Olive eyes looked to the crippled lioness and Musa. They were going to be worried extremely once the situation sunk in their head. But that didn't matter. He grabbed his sister by the neck and sort of manuevered where she was up enough for him to get under her. His sister across his back knocked out as he hastily tried to get her up towards the stones where many of them slept. He wanted to be the one to help his sister.

Before Abaeze had a moment to tell him to stay put, the cub was off towards one of the warriors, his eyes wide and pleading. "Please fetch Ayita water. She'll be terribly thirsty when she awakens." He knew that if it was for the head huntress, no one would refuse him. The warrior nodded and charged away to the watering hole, probably thinking about how he would carry the water to the lioness. A big ol' leaf or some lichen should do it in the cub's mind.
Abaeze shook her head when Musa ran off to order one of the stunned warriors to fetch Ayita water. The cub was gaining an attitude. Snorting in amusement, the lioness herself was still processing what had occurred in her mind. One moment, the head huntress was on her feet, the next she was being carried off by Manaba on his back. The lioness did not like how things were going so far. "King Soyali, it would be best if you eat now, unless you wish to faint like my head huntress." By the cream-colored lioness' tone, she wasn't suggesting it as her words by themselves seemed. The white king needed food as well, and she would not allow him to eat last. He would eat now, and then she would check on Ayita because the huntress was her first priority and concern at the moment.

It had been a bit of a task in itself to get Ayita up the rocks. Manaba had known his sister would be heavy. She was the largest lioness in the pride. Only rivaled by the male's themselves and they weren't lioness. The biggest male was Soyali. That mass cloud of white was huge. If he was to faint, it would take three of the males at least to carry him. Or they would simply leave the king alone. Thinking all this made the few rock climb up to the sleeping stones easier. Growling, he laid himself down. Careful move so his sister would just plop onto the stone. What a task that had been. Rounded ears pointed back, hearing Musa run about ordering the warriors around. Sending one off to get water for Ayita. It was clear the cub admired the head huntress. Manaba himself admired his sister. Even the youngest of cubs were entranced by her. Always greeted with cheerful tones. He himself, glares and shunned looks. It was his own fault. Playing the player he was. He liked to, it was fun. However it wasn't helping him any. He'd stop. Mature so to speak. It wouldn't fix everything. But he wanted to be like his older sister. Liked. "I'm talking to myself.. But I'll be back with a slab of meat for you." Pressing his nose to his sister's shoulder, he turned and headed back down. Paws lightly pressing on the rock.
Grey eyes watched the series of events unfold. There had been a rather foreboding feeling just a few minutes ago. A feeling that something would happen and it would not be such a good thing. It seemed those rarely wrong senses were right. The beloved head huntress had collapsed and almost within seconds Manaba was standing above her. Baring his white fangs at another male who had approached. Showed the unknown love between the siblings. Showing a year apart did not matter. They were much too close then the other lions thought. This was a good way to show it. Denying the help from another pride member. Soyali watched. Just sat there and watched. Those ever knowing eyes taking in every detail. Ears stayed relax at the side of his head. Not perking up or reversing. Did not need to. Could hear Musa telling a male to go get water for the huntress. While Abaeze seemed to be fretting over the situation. Though it wasn't long before she was fretting over him. The kings well being. The tone alone let Soyali knew that it wasn't a simple suggestion. But quite like an order. Abaeze would be a great mother one day. Once Musa grew up. He was all she had in her eyes. Soyali could understand. Huffing he gave up. "You are far too caring for your own good my dear."
