"You're here!" Aurian leapt up and gave him a quick hug. She'd been worried that she would have had to wait much longer on her own. "You're bleeding. Are you okay?" Righting herself from the tangle of limbs, Aurian turned to stare at the open doorway. "Well, here we go again, I guess." Aurian walked into the next area. She kept a firm grip on Seiji as they walked, not wanting to be split up again. Aurian expected it to take longer, but she spooted a door almost immediately. "Over here!" she dragged Seiji with her. About to reach the door, she let go, both hands touching the door to make sure it was real. ... Aurian had a terrible feeling. She was scared to turn and look over her shoulder. "Seiji? You're still right behind me, right?" Quote: Section 2: 1d8 1, 2: After walking around for three minutes, you realize that you're right back where you started. Roll again. 3, 8: While navigating the mirror maze, you manage to trip over a mirror-table and nearly drop a mirror-vase filled with mirror-flowers. You klutz! Take -1 HP damage. Then reroll. 4, 5: Success! That wasn't too bad. You proceed on to Section 3.7: How did you...? Somehow, you made it back to Section 1. Please scroll up and roll a 1d6 and follow the listings there.

((1, 3, 5: You stumble around, disoriented. Roll again.))
Mai blinked, here eyes wide and searching. She was standing in a mirror maze, feeling utterly discombobulated and somehow she'd managed to lose the others in the mad rush out of the previous room. What the hell just happened anyway? Flashing images of an enraged hippo beast, swaying webs, screaming faces, and biting spiders collided in her memory. It feel surreal, especially now that she was alone and all was silent.
"Ugh," Mai murmured, shaking her head a bit as if to shake off the feeling of disorientation. She definitely needed to find the others, that was what she needed to focus on. The ghoul squared her shoulders and strode purposely forward to find her lost teammates.
Instead, she merely wandered in circles for several minutes until she realized she was getting no where fast. Jacking hell.

(( 2, 4: Success! You make it through the first part. Proceed to Section 2. ))
Obviously Mai was going about this the wrong way. Her sense of direction was already about as accurate as.. er.. something not very accurate at all. And then to have it compounded by these duplicitous mirrors, well, she couldn't just expect to successfully wander her way blindly out of this situation.
Stumped, Mai sat on the cool floor to ponder her situation, her wisps floating aimlessly around the room as she did. And then, just by chance, she happened to glimpse one of the wisps as it seemed to vanish completely from sight.
"Huh?" she said softly to herself as she stood up again. That was strange. Quickly, she floated over to where she'd seen the wisp vanish.
Aha! There was a corridor here she hadn't seen. Her hair seemed to float up all around her as she felt a thrill of excitement. The vanished wisp floated a few feet ahead, pulsing and glowing as if proud of itself. Maybe she could get through this after all!

((6: You come across a mirror-toilet, and decide to spend a little while there. Mirror epiphany toilet! It doesn't seem to have gotten you any further along, though.. ))
She found herself facing... a toilet. Mai eyed the thing curiously for what seemed like ages. Suddenly, she produced some blue lipstick and deftly drew a happy cat face on the lid of the toilet.
She felt a little bit better about herself.

((6: You come across a mirror-toilet, and decide to spend a little while there. Mirror epiphany toilet! It doesn't seem to have gotten you any further along, though.. ))
After wandering around some more, Mai once again finds herself at the toilet. Strangely, she gets the impression that the cat face she'd drawn on the lid seems to be mocking her efforts. The drawing still manages to lift her spirits a little bit, so she draws a fish bone next to the cat with her lipstick. Appeasing kitties brings good luck! Or at least she always thought so.
Once again, the act of drawing on the toilet makes her feel a little bit better, so she renews her search for the exit with some vigor.

The wisp trick didn't seem to be working out for Mai this time around. Already they'd led her to several dead ends, and twice taken her to an odd little mirror toilet. Maybe if she'd been a living creature, she might have appreciated the discovery, but Mai had absolutely no use for such a thing. She was starting to get a headache from trying to watch all the blue flames and flame reflections floating around her.
And then she saw what she was looking for. One of the wisps seemed to vanish and the ghost rushed forward to follow it. Unfortunately, the wisp had just floated behind a camouflaged mirror vase fulls of concealing mirror flowers. Mai flew into the table the vase was sitting on, hitting her thighs against the top and tipping herself over it quite impressively. She smashed the candlejacking vase and flowers into a lovely shower of glass.

"Hellooo?" Mai called out, hoping someone would hear her. The sound of her own echoing voice seemed empty and lonely. She was beginning to get nervous, not knowing where anyone was or even where she was exactly. Everything looked the same, and her own face staring back at her from the dozens of reflecting mirrors was starting to look ominous.
"Guys? Is someone there? Anyone?" The ghoul felt like she'd been wandering for ages, and she was starting to feel cold and lethargic. She'd been away from living heat for a while now and she was worried that she'd be overcome with the need to nap to regain her strength. Who knows what would happen if she fell asleep in a place like this? What if her teammates needed her?
Her foot crunched on something below her and Mai glanced down to see the wreckage of her earlier collision with the table and vase. Hundreds of broken glass shards scattered on the ground reflected the look of frustration on her pale face as she realized she'd gone in a circle again. s**t.

Mai sulked as she stared down at the shattered glass, but she knew moping wasn't going to get her out of here. She turned to leave, hoping to get back onto the task of finding her teammates, and bumped hard into the table again. Damn this mirror furniture was hard to see! The sudden jarring stop to her forward momentum caused Mai to lose her footing and she slipped on the broken glass beneath her. Cursing, she landed with a soft *oomph* on her arm. She managed to avoid any serious cuts, but her elbow now throbbed painfully and her clothing bore some impressive tears.
SIGH.

Vaith was still pretty sure he was somewhere in the mirror maze. But this section didnt look like the rest. He ran into the mirror table and toilet .. but this path didnt lead to either of those, from what he remembered.
Or it could be his imagination. Huh.

Quote: Section 3: 1d10 9, 10: Yep. Still lost. Reroll the 1d10. Vaith was pretttty sure this looked different. Hm. He wasnt sure if that was a good or bad thing. And the mirrors only became increasingly disturbing. He took a short break by sitting down, sighing, his hands rubbing downwards on his face with a long siiiiiiiigh.
"This place never ends Note. I'm starting to wonder if there is an exit .. Mind over matter right? What would Jack do?"
Huh. Vaith wasn't sure what Jack would do. He never knew the man. Perhaps the better question is what would Hellma do .. Probably break everything. Or Arel. Freeze everything? Sit at a corner with some papers? Or they wouldnt be stuck here.

These mirrors were starting to look familiar.
Or Mai was starting to slowly lose her mind. Either way, it didn't seem like she was making any progress. She only had a few wisps following her at this point, and they hovered close to her as the ghost meandered about. She wasn't sure if the others had gone out or were lost themselves somewhere in the maze, but she was glad that she had the remaining few for company. Mai couldn't imagine being utterly alone in this place, she might go mad.

The cat face on the toilet was definitely mocking her now.
Mai stared down at the offending structure and scowled, her eyes glowing fiercely. Jack dammit but this was annoying. With short, angry motions Mai rubbed out the doodles she'd drawn on the mirror surface.
The mess of blue smudges left in the wake of her furious rubbing made her feel better. She turned on her heel and left in a huff.

This just wasn't working... Mai stopped in her tracks as she realized she'd done another circuit. She floated there for several minutes, considering her situation. A yawn over took her then, and it occurred to the ghost that things might just look better after a nap.
So, she lowered herself to the floor and fell asleep.

So then the farmer says, "that's not a potbelly pig! That's my wife!" AHAHAHAHAH! Junko blinked. "Why did you only tell the end of the joke? I don't get it." This cube was so strange. Her reflection chuckled quietly. "Junko, I didn't tell a joke." Junko pouted back toward Her. "I wasn't talking to you. The cube told me a joke but it started at the end. I don't get it.""......What?" Junko sighed and shook her head with her reflection, rolling her eyes. The Mistress just didn't understand. Quote: Section 3: 1d101: Hello, person, look at your maze, now back to me, now back at your maze, now back to me. Sadly, you're alone in this maze, but if you stopped getting separated from your group and started keeping a close eye on everyone, you could be as awesome as me. Look down, back up, where are you? You're still in the maze being watched by the GM running this room. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's the luck you need to get through this maze to proceed on. Look again, the luck is now a minipet. Anything is possible when you roll a one in the middle of a dice game. You need to reroll a 1d10 and quote Marushii with your minis SN. 2, 3, 4: You're so lost. So, so lost. So reroll and try again!5, 6: You made it! You continue on to the final section, Section 4. 7: You're lost. So, so very lost. What do you do? Easy: you follow someone. Pick a random group member, don't look at their roll. Treat what they got, what you got. Reroll or proceed as needed. 8: No. No. Hell no. You did not just go back to Section 1. But you totally did. Except you somehow navigated it and Section 2, lucky you. Reroll 1d10 and try again. 9, 10: Yep. Still lost. Reroll the 1d10.

OK THIS DEFINITELY LOOKED FAMILIAR. Vaith kicked the mirror once again, this time, with a forceful punch. He was so depressed that he didnt motice he was back in the third section-- after awhile, everything looked the same. This time, there were various noise markings on the ground, in a suspicious dragging motion on where he passed by ..
.. or they resembled noise markings. Hard to tell. There were a lot of broken mirrors that Vaith was sure he hadn't broken. Did one of his team members break them?
"UUUUUUGGGGGH, WHY DO MIRRORS GOTTA LOOK THE SAME AND BE SO CREEPY?!" He asked nobody in particular, blowing a warm breath on a mirror, attempting to cover up his currently-being-killed-reflection. It took the breath out of him, breathing on mirrors though.
