 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haikyo felt his palms impact against the man's abdomen--ripples surging across the man's fatty torso. His energy poured into the man's body--flowing into him--touching every part of the man's soul. It leeched onto it and as quickly as the energy has blasted into him, it came back, ripping through his body and into Haikyo--tearing parts of the man's soul away with it. Haikyo could feel the extra energy seeping into him--supplementing his own soul with the soul of his enemy. A look of shock passed over the man's face as he looked down to where Haikyo had hit him. He knew that something had changed in him--that he was missing something. Something important. His body slipped forward, his arms drooping like a flower left without water.
Haikyo felt as good as he had when the battle had started. His fatigue had vanished--his chakra organ was pumping resources through his body so quickly that he felt as though he had never harnessed this much energy in his life. The mercenary looked at his opponent, stepping backward from him. "Whaddaya tink yer doin'?" He growled, his fist clenching tightly around his whip as he struck out--this time in fear. The fat man swung his weapon with all his might, the three tailed whip slamming down toward Haikyo. However, as the attack came slamming down toward Haikyo's head, the man steeled his gaze on the mercenary, and he felt the souls inside of him scream for revenge. He felt each of the victims--burned alive for nothing more than a paycheck--begging him to torture this man--to destroy him. As the whips fell the souls of the victims seemed to pulse against the outside of his body--the flowing soul energy igniting like an electrical storm as the whips landed--though Haikyo did not flinch--the impact was taken by the energy around him completely, and he merely began walking fearlessly toward his enemy. His eyes were hard and cold. His upper lip twitched upward, barring his teeth like an animal as he walked. The hatred of so many people was overwhelming him to his very core.
"How...how...? I...I almost killed ye not tree munts ago! Dat's not possible!" The man bellowed. His hands roared into seals--creating them so quickly Haikyo could not keep track of the man's hands at all. As they stopped suddenly, a ring of fire exploded in the air--a tiger leaping forward from the center of it--clad in flames and roaring as it landed on the ground. Haikyo merely narrowed his eyes as he looked at the two of them. His fists suddenly burst into twin blue flames--so bright that it hurt to look directly into them. The pure energy of his soul was coursing across his hands--so incredibly volatile that if he were to touch it to the ground it would merely melt through the sand and soil and rock like warm butter. People with chakra protection and jutsu might be differently...but he would see. As his fists began to glow he closed his eyes--focusing. The green soul energy that flowed around his body rippled like water as he honed in on his senses.
He needed everything to be pinpoint.
The tiger was even stronger than his master. It blasted forward, and the master came from the opposite side. They swung their attacks in toward him in unison, and Haikyo's mouth twisted into a beautiful, animal, grin. His body flashed--disappearing completely, before coming to a halt directly in front of the mercenary--his hand slammed out toward the mercenary, landing directly on the man's face, and Haikyo gripped it with all his might, feeling the man's very skull shift beneath his fingers. He sent his soul energy crushing through the man once again, and ripped it back from him, stealing even more of his soul, now. The victims of his tore into the soul energy that Haikyo took from the man. This time, however, Haikyo had surpassed his own soul's limit and he could feel his body overflow with energy as the victims gorged themselves on their hated nemesis.
Haikyo's entire body pulsed with the energy of the soul. The green aura around his body disappeared. His skin, however, was such a bright blue that he cast a glow within two meters around him. His body was coursing with so much energy that he could not control it. He felt his own muscles straining against themselves. This would not last long...but he did not need it to.
He let go of the mercenaries face--allowing the man to see the vicious--horrifying expression on Haikyo's face. The souls of this man's victims twisted Haikyo into this visage of pure hate and vengeance. He was enjoying this. Through their own enjoyment, Haikyo could feel himself, too, bathing in the feeling of conquering his enemy. He had been weak before--he had been beaten so easily...now...now he felt like a god. His enemy could not touch him--not with a single strike.
And now it was finished.
Haikyo disappeared once again, suddenly appearing behind the tiger. However, once again he vanished--though his image blurred away instead of blinking. Suddenly he was everywhere. Moving so fast that he created after images. He controlled the light of the energy in his body and extinguished it, reigniting at intervals to create the illusion of a field of fireflies. He could remember them so clearly...the fireflies on that battlefield. The man shrank backwards--striking blindly at the afterimages. The tiger was first. Haikyo's energy clad fist took its front leg first--cleaving through the top of the shoulder to lame the animal completely.
"No!!" The mercenary screamed out.
Even as he cried out, though, Haikyo had taken the man's left arm. His fist slamming into the man's elbow and peeling directly through it. Within this area, he could strike at will. He vanished and appeared without warning, and his attacks came so quickly that they could not be reacted to.
He was a ghost.
His next strike cut the tiger in half, and the panic on the mercenary's face was like the oldest, finest, bottle of sake in this world. Haikyo drank deeply, and the souls inside of him were sated. The lights all faded, and the mentally broken mercenary before him stood defeated. Haikyo looked at him carefully and he narrowed his eyes. His hand lashed out, grabbing the man by the only wrist he had left, and he stared long and hard into the man's eyes as he held the wrist. His hands clutched around it so tightly that the fat man fell to his knees and cried for it to stop.
"Behold the evil that you have wrought. And know why, in your last moments, that you deserve a death without honor." Haikyo stated coldly. His hands closed and the bones splintered beneath them, and as the man's scream ripped through the city, Haikyo silenced it.
The man's head rolled well...its rotund anatomy allowing it to travel through the streets--moving as if to run from it's own demise.[ Ooc: ] Quote: Battle Word Count: 4,949 Word Count With Nisha / Sai / Juugou: 13,199 Mission 1: Fixer Upper: 5,253 / 2,000 Mission 2: Surface Layer 2,749 / 2,000 Mission 3: Final Touches 2,376 / 2,000 Mission 4: Stalking the Hunter 6,700 / 2,000 Battle Words: 2508 Solo Word Count: 1,195
Taking a moment to check the area around them to check the damage to the area around them, the battle involving Theodore and herself wasn't that bad, most of the damage had been illusionary or put on Theodore himself, she then looked at Theodore. "Dodge ninja are really annoying, you need to be able to lock them down or be faster then them, I was just lucky that the illusion was similar in strength to myself, if it was stronger we would have been taken out, you did amazing though". Nisha said as she looked at Theodore looking at how beaten he was, part of her wanted to lick his blood, due to the growing thrust growing in her, but she held back enough as he ran off to check on Haikyo after a loud cry of pain was let out into the city from near Haikyo, and speak to him about the fight they had as well as see him. Nisha walked over a little after Theodore and her held Kamala out as it slowly draw the blood the main had spilled on the ground and from his head and body spinning about the blade before being absorbed into it and restoring Nisha's condition as the spirit in the blade was calming and Nisha's thrust was quenched, Nisha moved over to Haikyo and looked at him. "What now Haikyo?, the genjutsu user got away, and what should we do with his body". Nisha said as she tilted her head still looking around the area with her Byakugan.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When both of his teammates rounded the corner, where the illusion had separated them from each other, Haikyo's eyes welled with tears, though they neither fell nor receded, his eyes shimmering like glass. The damage that the man they fought had caused initially had been another damn illusion, sure, but the damages that the fat b*****d he had fought caused...they were true damages. There was no time. Even the few moments they had wasted already...it was too much. They had to do a million things. He looked to Theodore as the kid jogged up to him, and he nodded to the boy. "You look sore, Theodore...but believe me, in my first fight, I essentially watched someone do all the work while I got knocked around too...you will improve. The fact that you're alive proves that. I'm proud of you. Both of you." He stated, smiling between them as he then focused on Nisha. "And you, Nisha, thank you for keeping our newest member safe. I could do nothing for either of you...but it appears that my worry was for nothing. You're both obviously very capable, and I should not have treated you any differently." He stated with another curt nod, bringing the back of his hand to his eyes to wipe the dampness away.
As he looked around him there were at least three separate buildings on the street that had caught fire from the fat man's careless strikes. This also meant that there could be people inside. Not only did they need to focus on the people, however, but the fire would spread, as well. Every second threatened to consume this city in flames. "I know you've both been through a lot...but the battle does not end when the enemies die. It ends only when the threat has disappeared. We have a new one, now. The few buildings on the street that have caught flame. We have to get those buildings put out. We also need to enter the buildings in question to be sure there aren't any people in danger, inside. Nisha--you're the one with the observational powers. You scan the buildings--find the people who need the help the most, and try to do what you can. Theodore, find water--any source you can. If not water, then anything that you can use to help put these flames out. As for the body...he's not going anywhere, so he can wait. I will explain the situation to the appropriate figures when the time comes. I will help here, with you two, however, for the time being. When we're all done making sure the citizens are safe, you guys can do whatever you like. You can go back to home base, or not. Your call. Now. Let's do this!" Haikyo stated, his eyes darting around the streets to the four burning buildings, trying to think of a plan.
There was a water tower not too far away--a good source of water, to be sure, but it would have to be carried somehow, in some sort of vessel, and that could take too much time. There were jutsu, sure, but none of his own abilities seemed very suited to the task. He stroked his bearded chin, thinking long and hard about the situation. A baby's cry rocked the night like a siren--and as if a gun had fired at the starting line--the three of them would have to surge into action as fast as they could. They had won their battles. Victory was theirs...but these people could not pay the price for that win. Haikyo could not allow it.[ Ooc: We are going to have quite the mass of exp at the end of this. xD ] Quote: Battle Word Count: 4,949 Word Count With Nisha / Sai / Juugou: 13,199 Mission 1: Fixer Upper: 5,253 / 2,000 Mission 2: Surface Layer 2,749 / 2,000 Mission 3: Final Touches 2,376 / 2,000 Mission 4: Stalking the Hunter 6,700 / 2,000 Battle Words: 2,508 Solo Word Count: 1,195 New Team Count: 603
Theodore smiled at Nisha as he talked and he nodded at her excitedly. He was so excited that he had won his first battle. Looking at Nisha he gave her thumbs up, turning his attention to Haikyo he was so over whelmed with emotions his eyes teared up to as he gave him a thumb up as well. “Yes sir!” He said excitedly as he turned back his attention to the buildings around him. He took a deep breath; his heart sank as he saw the pain of the city from the fight. How could someone be so heartless that they would allow for this to happen. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath, they needed saving and he needed to find a way to help them. Breathing heavily, he stumbled backwards scared of how to help, he had never faced in animate dangerous such as fire. Stretching himself he took a deep breath, feeling his eyes switch to baraq he felt his body increase. Running quickly, he shot through the streets, his feet pressing off the ground as he lept as high up as he could and grabbed the water tower, trying to hold onto it he suddenly dropped, “Damn…how do I carry this!” He screamed kicking it. Turning his attention over towards the city he watched the flames burning, his heart ached as he twitched. Punching it he frowned, turning he jumped off the water tower onto the ground, doing hand signs earth wrapped around him, running in his earth armor he busted through one of the buildings like a wrecking ball, the building shaking. In Hine sight., Properly not the smarted idea with a burning building. Walking through it quickly he looked left and right, he didn’t care what they had planned. He couldn’t let others die, and he wasn’t suited to protection jutsu. Opening one of the doors the flames hit the oxygen causing a miniature explosion sending Theodore into a wall, the building shook again. “Damnit!” He screamed as he stood up, walking in he didn’t see anyone, thankfully. Pushing things out of his way he made his way to the next room, door already opened. Stepping in he saw an older man, grabbing him by the collar he lifted him up and tossed him over his shoulder. Turning he could feel his lungs filling with smoke and it made it harder, the earth skin was heating up to, which also made it harder to do this. Turning he had to get out, jumping out of the building window he landed and sat the guy down.
Stepping out of the earth skin Theodore began vomiting up, the smoke was awful. But the damage he had done to the building was slightly worse, the build began creaking. Turning his attention to it the building support began waking. Running up to it he did hand signs creating his Erets shield, which was a huge wall that rose from the ground and pressed against the building keeping it steady. “Guys, im kind of screwing this up!” He shouted nervously. Stepping back his shield stood up the building. Turning he grabbed his head nervously what was he to do, what was he to do, he didn’t have abilities for this. He needed something, how was he supposed to handle this. The voices flooded his head as he squatted down angrily banging on his head, ‘What to do, what to do, what to do!’ He asked himself as he punched the ground tears forming in his eyes. Looking at the statue of his armor standing there he took a breath, ‘If I go without my armor, I can move faster and be more agile, I would have to be more careful. That armor will collapse a building, I can’t let that happen. I need to be quick, but its deadlier, it’s not going to be fun…. it’s going to hurt…. Im doing it.’ He said, looking up he felt the surge of lightning through him, pushing off the ground he felt his heart racing. The electricity from Baraq seizing through his body, his mind moving faster, his heart pumping in over load mode. Pushing off the ground each step he felt the lightning pulsate through his vains as stars formed in his eyes. Running through the building he could see the flames, he could feel the heat on his skin, and he could feel it biting him. Foot stepping out a flame burst in front of him, twisting he slid around it and kept moving. Seeing an innocent soul bent over unconscious his hand reached out grabbing her. Yanking her up he slid into the room next to it. Hand grabbing a little kid hand he held the young boy up in his other arm. Turning he gripped the kids body and the woman as he ran out of the building smoke coming off of him as burn marks were forming on his arms and face. “I think there’s more!” He shouted, before anyone could say anything he turned and took off running back into the building. This time he wasn’t finding many people, he could have missed them but he would trust Nishas eyes would pick up anyone he missed. Making it to the roof of the burning building Theodore took a leap like a frog over the building gaps and through the window of the next burning building. His clothing could be seen burning, his shirt drifting down from the roof tops with scorch marks on it as it slowly sat hit the grass. Theodore, either dedicated or stupid. It was up in the air at this point.
Nisha listened to Haikyo and smiled a little as he praised her but she spoke up to correct a minor error he had made due to not watching the battle. "Theodore held his own, all I did was hit the enemy with my sword and drank some blood". Nisha said in reply to Haikyo as he spoke about his treatment of them, before he moved on to look at the buildings around them that were beginning to catch on fire and set tasks to the team to find a way to put out the flames and to check the buildings for people, Nisha nodded and then scanned the area, most of the building were empty, it wasn't that late in the evening so people were awake for the most part and the sounds of battle normally due attention, and then when it gets dangerous people move away, and call the correct people to come deal with it so it shouldn't be that long until people turned up to help with the fires as well as the deal with the fall out of this. So most of the people in the area had heard the fighting and then saw the battle was intense and fires throwing around, so they had moved a little away from the main fighting, so two of the buildings were empty, one was the building that had been where the enemy was staying and seemed empty, another was the one building on the other side which had been caught in one of the jutsu, and the last one was close to both buildings, which had some people in it was another building opposite side of the enemies hideout that had some people in it, only to watch Theodore rush into it, and Nisha watch him, as she moved over and formed some hand seals, then the dirt, rocks and some clay tiles began move around the burning building snaring it and reinforcing the building so it wouldn't fall down and would give them the time to get everyone inside out. Following Theodore getting blown back then running around the building helping the different people, Nisha once her jutsu has been put in place to keep the building in place, she took a deep breath and walked into the burning building closing her eyes and relying on her byakugan, the heat means very little to her as she went inside, her time in Aren dealing with the burning coals and the heat of the forgotten tunnels had been amazing training for dealing with heat, and the crazy amount of time she had to hold her breath while in the flooded tunnel where she dragged a bunch of equipment and Shun out, so those wouldn't be an issue as long as she protected herself with some chakra, and if she had to have her eyes open or was using normal sight it would be hard to see with all the smoke in the building, however she would smell like ash and smoke for a few days after this, but this came with walking into a burning building. Nisha moved though the building at speed running to a far room on the other side of the building towards the sound of the crying, Nisha reaching a closed door and wondering if she would be able break it down in order to get into the room where the crying was coming from, if not for her byakugan she wouldn't be able to see, as on this side of the house wasn't so much on fire as just fulled with smoke, that had likely cause the child to start crying and the other person she could see in the room to faint as the air was filled with smoke, after bracing herself for the run into the door she decided to try and just open it normally just in case, and it was open, so Nisha just opened the door and walked into the room that was filled with smoke that had replaced a lot of the air in the room with a woman in her mid twenties passed out over this crying child, as the smoke slowly loomed over the two of them, Nisha went over wrapping the child in up in the blankets around them and then moving so the woman was on her back. Nisha got up nearing the end of her breath and knowing that going back though the fire would be dangerous for the baby and the woman on her back, Nisha took out Kamala in one hand, the woman on her back and the baby in her other arm Nisha moved over to the wall and sliced at the wall breaking though it using her wind chakra to make the cutting edge of Kamala sharper, as she cuts at the wall breaking it, trying to create one big enough for her to be able to move though with the woman and the child before the smoke filled the room and the fire reached them, after slicing at the wall a few times Nisha cut her way into a ally before walking around the burning build to join Theodore with a crying child and passed out woman on her back. "Theo I need you to hold this for a moment". Nisha said handing the crying baby to him, as she put the woman on the ground and then began a basic medical check in her, using her byakugan to check her body for damage and checking to make sure she was still alive and breathing, she notices she wasn't breathing, and after checking the air way she saw it was closed, she changed the woman's position in order open her air way and then preformed basic CPR on her in order to force air into her lungs.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haikyo watched as his team members jumped into action with everything they had. He scanned the area--the fires were spreading. He bit his lip as he watched Theodore smash into one of the buildings--damaging it further, and being blasted backward by the ensuing fireball that the oxygen release had caused. Though, as the building shuddered and prepared to fall, both Nisha and Theodore worked together to support the damaged building and hold it up. Pride swelled in his heart as he looked at the two of them. "Incredible work you two!" Haikyo bellowed out to them as they saved the few people whom had been trapped in their homes. He knew with Nisha's eyes she would not miss a civilian trapped in any of the homes. He trusted in them, now. He was not afraid of their capabilities. He knew that they were more than able to fend for themselves. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was embarrassing for the senior of their group to be standing back and allowing the others to do everything. He cracked his neck and exhaled a deep breath.
"Allow me to take it from here." He stated, his eyes closed, and as they shut--the very moment the lashes touched--his body vanished. He appeared beside the water tower that Theodore had been looking at before and a small smirk passed over his features. He moved so fast that it looked as though there were four of him--one at the foot of each support. His fist was ablaze with soul energy. The bright blue coating, as it touched the steel supports, cut through the metal like butter. Haikyo had to use little to no force to allow the concentrated energy to eat through it.
As the four supports were simultaneously destroyed, the tower began to fall. Haikyo stood beneath it and as all the weight of the water tower came down upon his back, his knees buckled and the ceiling of the burning building collapsed beneath him. Dust and flames exploded out of the building in his wake and it was as though he had vanished completely--crushed by the weight of the tower. However--with an explosion of wood and fire, he came walking through the front of the home he had fallen into. The soul energy he had used to completely nullify his enemy's attacks was surrounding him--the flames licked his body but he stood completely unharmed. The debris fell all around him, though nothing touched him, for he was still beneath the water tower, holding it on his back, walking beneath it in slow, strained strides. As he got to the middle of the street--the burning buildings all around him, a smirk passed over his features. With all of his strength he pushed up on the water tower, hefting it off of his back and into the air, just a small margain so he could shift his grip. His fingers crushed through the bottom of the tower, nd he gripped down on the thing. "Take cover, or get wet. Haikyo called with a laugh as he swung the water tower in a full circle, holding the base of it. The water was thrown out in a massive outward circle--blasting against all of the houses equally, all around him.
When he felt that the tower had been emptied, he released his grip and he placed it down on the street, standing up. He walked back over to the other two and he looked at the people that they had saved. He nodded in approval and he helped them to make sure that they were all alive and well--the CPR that Nisha had been applying had worked to resuscitate the woman she had saved. The survivors thanked them--all of them. The people who had come back toward the area, seeing no flames or fighting, cheered for the team, hanking the boy and the girl who had pulled people from the wreckage, and the man who had doused the flames. Haikyo told Nisha and Theodore, both, that he would be headed back to the safehouse. They were welcome to go there, or anywhere they pleased.
As he was walking back toward the house a raven dove from the sky, landing on his shoulder, and Haikyo looked at the bird quizzically before noticing the parchment clasped in its claws. He looked at it carefully and stroked his chin, releasing the paper from its grasp and placing it in the folds of his robes, beneath the chest plate. He would read it when he was in private.
He made his way back to the safe house and breathed a sigh of relief. Glad to be back somewhere familiar. Safe. It did still need furnishings, and the few rotted boards to be replaced. But that was all. They had done a damn fine job with the clean up thus far. This would be a good place.[ Ooc: ] Quote: Battle Word Count: 4,949 Word Count With Nisha / Sai / Juugou: 13,199 Mission 1: Fixer Upper: 5,253 / 2,000 Mission 2: Surface Layer 2,749 / 2,000 Mission 3: Final Touches 2,376 / 2,000 Mission 4: Stalking the Hunter 6,700 / 2,000 Battle Words: 2,508 Solo Word Count: 1,195 New Team Count: 3345
Nisha made sure the person she was treating had a cleared air way before she began to preform compression's on the woman chest lightly after a few the woman began to cough as the compression's had gotten her lungs to breath again and cleared her air way, Nisha smiled as the woman slowly regained awareness and looked around for the child she was with before, that Theodore was holding, and brought over once called over, and the others from the building join them and thanks them for helping them out as Haikyo put out the fires, using the water of the tower to put them out, and in the result seeming to coat everyone in the area with some level of water that drizzled on them refreshing everyone to some degree, as Nisha and Theodore were being thanked by the people, Nisha felt a little awkward about it about this but she was happy to be praised by people. As the team collected together after the situation had calmed down and people had collected themselves and were looking over the buildings, in the long term it was lucky no one had died and due to the quick actions of the ninja it was only minor burns, and while the fire had been intense it hadn't done that much damage, no one had died and most of the things inside weren't too badly damaged by ether the fire or the water, and once things were calmed down more, the people would be able to recover most of there possessions, and it would only take time to rebuild or finding a new places to live. While speaking with Haikyo and Theodore about the plans going forward, Haikyo said he would be returning to the warehouse, and that her and Theodore would have some free time before they got back to work tomorrow on the warehouse when the paint, flooring and other things they had ordered for the rebuilding, after that was getting basic furniture for building and when the others returned maybe improve things further, Haikyo said he would be heading back to the warehouse first, Nisha nodded in agreement and was left deciding what she would do for the rest of the evening, leaving Theodore and Nisha to decide on what they would do for before returning. Nisha turned to him as he spoke up again getting something to eat. "I would like to get something to eat, and ramen sounds nice". Nisha said happily as she looked at Theodore being a little nervous and awkward, she then followed on. "But I smell like smoke at the moment so I was going to go wash and then grab some dinner, but Ramen sounds nice". Nisha said planning to get something to eat after she had washed herself at a public bath house as the warehouse didn't have its water on properly as the hot water wasn't on yet.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haikyo took a deep breath as he looked around the fairly vacant rooms of the warehouse they had acquired. Already it was looking much better than when they had gotten it. The sanding and staining outside had done wonders to make the building look almost brand new from the outside. Now it was just the couple things left that he knew Nisha was surely aware of. He was wandering back around the outside of the place and he stroked his beard as he looked at the hatch that lay outside that he had yet to bring up to the others. He was completely unsure about what may lie beneath it...but it had been closed tightly for a reason.
He bent over and gripped the hatch tightly, his muscles straining as he pried it up, the hatch giving way and popping open with a hiss as it did. He smirked as he looked at it and he nodded in approval. They would have access to it, now. Hopefully it wasn't too dangerous. But after he had seen the two of them in action, he was less worried about their own capabilities. As he ruminated on it, he reached into his armor, pulling out the scroll that the raven had brought him, and he looked over it curiously as he read the message clearly. He was being called.
When he got into the warehouse again he grabbed a slip of paper, drafting a note for the two of them before sticking it to the wall with a needle--keeping it in plain sight.
Nisha, Theodore,
You have both done well for yourselves. I am proud of your performance in the battle that we went through. However, if you are reading this, it is because I have been summoned by our team leader. He has been rather vague in his messages, but it would be unwise to give any further detail, in case there is anything important to be dealt with or learned from.
I have left open a hatch in the outside yard. I have yet to explore it, and was going to wait until we were all together again to tell you about it and to delve into it together...but for now, since I will be gone, you two can make the judgement call. Either seal it closed with whatever means you have, or explore. Find out what it is, why it is there, and if it can be used.
Then, of course, there is the matter of the lumber replacements on the inside of the building for the few rotted boards, and the furniture. Other than that...good luck and keep safe. If you feel the challenge you face is too much--do not face it. If you discover anything dangerous, seal that hatch immediately until we return.
~Haikyo
After he had posted his note, he grabbed one of the trunks that Sai had used to store things when they were bringing them into the warehouse and he removed his equipment. He couldn't be travelling fully equipped with a bunch of well designed weapons and armors. It could make him a target--and he didn't need any more trouble. He stocked it all away in the trunk and then he lifted the large case and slung it up onto his shoulder and walked out--he had business to attend to.[ Ooc: Hey guys, I already PM'd Mist about it, since he had sent me a message a couple of days ago. I had been vacant for a while because of an extremely busy past couple weeks. But, I had thought you guys would keep going, because you had branched off from Haikyo, so I didn't think you needed me. So sorry about that guys. This will mark the end of our three-way RP segment. So, you two, after this post, will need to start your own count. ^_^ ] Quote: Battle Word Count: 4,949 Word Count With Nisha / Sai / Juugou: 13,199 Mission 1: Fixer Upper: 5,253 / 2,000 Mission 2: Surface Layer 2,749 / 2,000 Mission 3: Final Touches 2,376 / 2,000 Mission 4: Stalking the Hunter 6,700 / 2,000 Battle Words: 2,508 Solo Word Count: 1,195 New Team Count: 4645

We can wash up then go eat, I mean you can’t go on a dat-“Theodore suddenly stopped talking. Smiling he nodded, “Let us wash and eat!” He said quickly as he turned and began walking to the public bath house, as he was walking he saw people glancing at him strangely. Looking around he glanced as Nisha, then looked down. The sudden realization hit him, he was shirtless. Turning to Nisha blushing he gulped, “Imma run into a clothing store and get a new shirt.” He said awkwardly backing away and running into the nearest open store he could find, he was lucky to find one. The store was just about to close, but he managed to convince them to let him grab a shirt. Grabbing the coolest one he could find he paid them and left.
Making it to the public bath house Theodore went into the changing room changing into something simple, walking out he climbed into the water and could feel his muscles relaxing as the steam filled the air. His eyes closed and his head went back as he breathed softly. He felt more relaxed then he had that entire week. First graduating the Academy, then being sent to a squad and a string of missions, plus an unexpected fight. Theodore was just happy to be relaxing now, he wondered what his grandmother was doing. He hoped she was ok, she had medication left before he left, but she would be running out anytime now. If she hadn’t dropped or lost any she would have a couple days at least. So Theodore hoped at least. He also wondered about May, perhaps she was doing ok to. She had a friend she spent most of her time with but with him being gone, he wondered if she stayed with grandmother just in case. He hoped not, she was capable of being alone, but still needed moral support.
Theodores face went from relaxed to stressed as he began moving around the bath water fidgeting. He couldn’t take a lot of stress and his grandmother caused a lot of it when he thought of her condition. Maybe His friends were taking care of her, he hoped so. Barry was an amazing ninjutsu user, and Allen was trying to be a healer. Both were awesome, but he hadn’t seen them since graduating the academy, it’s no telling where they are currently at. Theodore continued to fidget as he stressed even more.

Nisha was walking with Theodore as they headed into the center of the town towards one of the bath places closer to the base, without the knowledge that Haikyo had left while they were washing up and having a meal, Nisha every now and then would look over Theodore, he had lost some of his clothing in the action from before, but he seemed to have not notice and Nisha was assuming he was going to get something along the way, only for him to look around then at her then at himself noticing he was shirtless he ran off picking up a new shirt, he was really looking forward to eating with her, she could tell that Theodore liked her which made little sense to her as they had only meet two days ago now, so it was likely something like a crash at first sight. As she entered the bathhouse paying for use of the place, she took a moment while in the changing room sealing her old clothing so she could deal with it later, and getting a new set out for when she was done cleaning herself, Nisha smiled as she entered the steam filled room, making her way washing stations to clean herself, she ended up spending a lot of time washing her hair in order to get rid of the smoke smell in it, even after washing it deeply and thoroughly it still had the smell of smoke in it and she would likely need another few washings to remove it fully. After cleaning her body mostly she moved onto the bath itself and soaked in the water letting the stress flow away, with sometime to relax she though about the event that had happened over the past few weeks, and how she had changed, after cleaning herself and relaxing a little she got up drying herself and dressing as she left the bath area to meet up with Theodore. Shall we head off to eat?” He said as he turned and began walking with her, he still felt awkward. Finding the nearest place to eat that looked semi decent he walked in and sat down. He nodded at her softly and grinned, “So, tell me something about you?” He asked as he gave his drink order looked at her some, he rubbed the back of his head as he took a deep sigh. It was obvious that he wasn’t fully aware of his surroundings or what was going on, while he gave Nisha his attention, he didn’t have such focus on her as he had those two days they had known each other. Turning his head slightly he glanced around the people in the place, each one of them with their own lives. His grandmother was still his main focus mentally as he smiled at Nisha as they received their drinks, as for the order he nodded at the woman. The place they were eating wasn’t a 5 star type of place, more of just a sit-down place that had some good tasting food. “I just want an order of Chicken Ramen with pot stickers please.” He said looking at Nisha for her order.
Smiling he looked at her still faking his smile, “I have these two friends,” Theodore said after she talked a little about herself, “One of them is Allen, the other one is Barry. One day we were exploring some alley ways in the village, when an intoxicated man was stumbling around, we weren’t sure at the time what his deal was. He suddenly looked at Allen, who in my opinion is the baby out of the three of us. He screamed, ‘Hey you, you look just like my ex-wife.’ Well, Allen tensed up and began stuttering like. ‘No No, im not im a guy.’ But me and Barry being, well us. We convinced this intoxicated man that Allen was his ex-wife. This man went ballistic he stumbled to Allen and fell to his knees like, ‘no no please baby don’t leave me again. Ill be the man you want me to be,’ I’ve never seeing Allen cry so much. Me and Barry could stop from laughing, it was so bad that this man actually passed out from being so happy to believe that him and Allen were married.” Theodore laughed some, and looked down as the food arrived. “It makes you wonder though, we later went back and he was there but sober. He told us to beat it, he had no memory of Allen or us.” Taking a breath he glanced at her, “I wonder, was that memory even if he doesn’t remember it, meaningful to him in that moment? Can you cherish something that isn’t there? I cherish that memory, but that man doesn’t remember it. Does that mean to him this story is simply that…a story? If I remember this in ten years, but you forget about me in 10 years. Then is this simply a scrap of history that will one day mean nothing. If So, how much History do we have that we don’t remember? How many memories are we in that, we don’t remember.” He asked looking down stirring his food, his grandmother fluttering through his head as he sipped his drink. If that statement made sense was to the beholder, it really depends.
After finishing there food he smiled at her, “shall we get going?” He asked happily, “its getting late, don’t want haikyo thinking anything.” He laughed awkwardly realizing what he had just said.

While dry Nisha had tied her hair up so that it wouldn't spread dampness to her new clothes that she was wearing, her outfit was basically the same as the last one, aside for her dress, which was a similar design to her last one, aside from it being very dark green, with a lightly green pattern rather then black and green one she had before. "Sounds like a plan, and myself, I am not really sure". Nisha said as she walked with Theodore to a place near by for dinner, as the two of them walk she thought about what she would talk about, Nisha didn't really have much to talk about herself, and make a drink order she ended up ordering a really sweet drink. "Well I am not sure what to talk about, I am a member of the Hyuuga clan, he works as a merchant in the village, my mum is a office-nin, my brother is a Medical-nin". Nisha said taking a seat, with Theodore as he order, Nisha added onto his. "I will take the same but pork rather then chicken please". After ordering Nisha went on talking about how when she was little she was very ill when she was little and was unable do much when she was little, and ended up spending a lot of time reading books or spending time with her family. "I didn't really make many friend while I was little due to me being sick for a lot of my childhood so I spent a lot of in hospital or with my family, it wasn't until I entered the academy a few years ago that I made some friends my own age, but what about yourself". Nisha asked as she looked a Theodore and smiled at him as she took a sip of her drink as she looked at him and listen to his story. "I am not really sure what to say, it sounds like the drunk man lost his wife and is using alcohol to forget his pain, I guess going by that I would say you can never forget something you truly care for". Nisha said as she ate her meal slurping up her noodles and pork with some spring onions, in reply to his talk about his time with his friend, she didn't have any stories like that herself, maybe one day in the future, but so far none of those bonds had formed with her, outside of her family she truly didn't feel much for any of the other people in the world yet, she looked up as she finished her meal and at Theodore who had finished his meal before her. "Yeah it is getting pretty late and this day is was really packed'. Looking at her a few times the walk home he smiled, as they got home he looked around some. “Where is Haikyo?” He asked as the building looked quiet. Yawning he kind of skipped through the room glancing around to see if he could find anyone. “Not to sound alarming, but I don’t see Haikyo anywhere, “ He said as he overlooked the note multiple times as if it wasn’t there.
Theodore walked outside around the building as he saw a small hatch, bending over he looked at it curiously, “What’s in here.” He wondered as he slowly reached down to open the door before he whimpered thinking about the illusion he saw as he stepped back.
