When she heard the gunshot, though she didn't know where it was coming from, Azriel reflexively jolted to dodge as if the stray bullet were coming at her. She then saw someone join the thief, but some movement off to the side was catching her eye too. Turning her glance in Rhone's direction, she did a slight double-take to find that it was him and hoped she was high enough for him not to notice anything funny about her eyes. She then put her forearm over them, appearing as if she were wiping something out of her them with her sleeve. In that moment, she whispered to herself, "Oscuro, retreat," then slid her arm past her eyes. They were back to their normal color.

Azriel then proceeded to hover over to Rhone and the people he was with, a little surprised to find the famous Lloyd and Colette with him. She went a little lower but did not yet land, wanting to keep her vantage point over the thief and her accomplice. "Oh, hey Rhone! You know them? Are you guys after the thief too?"

"What the heck is going on here?!" Eduardo, needless to say, did not know what was going on there. "Hey, at least we can all say 'good night, knight!' puns now."
He pointed at the woman with the scythe. "I'm guessing Her Scythliness is not our friend. So what are we going to do?" He wanted to solve whatever problem was going on in Sybak, but he wasn't going to leap into a huge fight like that unless someone else did. He was guessing he was on the knightly side, however.

Hearing the gunshot, Sirea's fox ears perked up within her hood before she caught sight of the fight that was going on. She kept her hand on the hilt of her katana. "That is what I'm wondering as well." She answered to Eduardo before turning her attention to Ilene. "Same here. I just hope it doesn't turn very ugly."

Rin was also having difficulty seeing through the crowd as well, his feline ears had perked up from hearing the gunshot. "I do wonder what the party's all about." He said before giving a nod to Hunter. "No prob." He would draw out his daggers after watching Hunter use some sort of orb. "Nice outfit." He said then he would follow after him. "Coming through!" He yelled out, not seeming to care if he was going to get stared at.

Colette would give a small smile to Azriel. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She said. She had a curious look in her eyes when she gazed at Azriel's wings for a brief moment, though now wasn't the time to ask about them. She would turn her attention to the fight, noticing Hunter and Rin had joined in the fray. She would gaze over to the Rhone. "Which one? The one with the armor or the one with the cat ears?"

Eduardo had also heard the gunshot, but wasn't sure of the source.
"This doesn't even make sense right now. Just a minute." Without warning, he suddenly started scrambling up the closest building to his right to get a better view of the streets of Sybak. They certainly looked different as battlefields.
He would soon climb back down to check in with Sirea and Ilene. He would have just shouted down to them, but he didn't know if they could hear him over the noise.

Rhone sighs and pulls his hat down over his eyes.
"The stupid one, Colette..the stupid one."
He lifts his hat back up and glares at the unique guard.
"...Welp. Enough being idle, I suppose."
Rhone leaps over the crowd and lands next to Lloyd, to stare at the unique guardsman. he glances back at Hunter, Rin, and the thieves they're guarding.
"Wait...weren't you at a meeting or something, boss?"
Hunter scratches the side of his head in confusion.
"Just keep your eyes on the thief, Hunter."
Rhone turns to the guardsman and bows, placing his hat on his chest.
"Greetings, random guard I've never seen before."
He straightens up and crosses his arms over his chest.
"I'm not sure what you want with the woman behind me, but at the moment, she has something that might belong to me, and I'd like to talk to her for a bit."
He waves his hat as if to shoo away the guard.
"So if you could just scoot away and go back to whatever it is you do, I'm sure there's some very important paperwork involved, I would greatly appreciate it."

"How dare you speak to the leader of the Taurus Brigade in such a way elf! I should arrest you as well for such disrespect!"

"This is getting out of hand Lilith, we need to get out of here"

"I suppose so, sorry elf I don't have time to explain things that are none of your business" Lilith extended her hand out and started charging magic, finally releasing it into a blast "Reaper's Touch!"

the blast knocked some of the guards back allowing Lilith and the cloaked man to escape

"h-hey! come back here!" Lloyd yelled.

Lloyd had dashed forth a bit with the intention to give chase to the thieves, but reflecting on his and Rhone's exchange made him decide to let them go for now. So he just turned and began to head back to the rest of the group.

After looking around after that explosion and realizing that his target escaped, the General went quite red in the face. Not that it could be seen in the night's darkness. He clenched his fists before him and raised an angry yell to the sky. "REAPEEEEEEEEEEEERRRR!!!"

He saw his interceptor walking away, but he wanted to get one last word out, which he shouted. "And we would have gotten our job done if you hadn't interrupted!" He turned to his underclassmen and continued, barking, "Well, what are you waiting for?! Search the entire town! Every exit!" He then rushed in the opposite direction with a small group of guards. The bystanders in the crowd murmured and chattered noisily, wondering what the heck that could have been all about.

Having heard the General's outbursts, Lloyd made a weird look at the man as they passed by each other. The General didn't notice him; he was too absorbed in going after this "Reaper". Well sure he said she was a wanted criminal, but...why'd he seem to concern himself over her a little too much?

Azriel blinked, surprised that the commotion ended just like that. Damn it. I was getting kind of pumped too, Oscuro muttered in her mind. Now that the crowd was dispersing and she saw Rhone returning in her direction, she found some room to land and folded her wings. She touched ground in time to hear his question, and scratched her head. "Uh...I think that depends. I think it would be better to search for clues, but all this must've interrupted your meeting. If there was more you needed to cover, perhaps you should go back. Either way, I'd like to help search for the thief as well. From the sound of things, it doesn't look good that those things were lost. If it is what you guys think it is."

Lloyd too had returned in time for the question, though he found this...oddly-winged girl saying exactly what he was thinking. "Yeah, I agree with that." Seeing that she wasn't all that clear on the situation, he turned to her and added, "What might've been stolen here were some special Exspheres made by Rhone." There might have been some information he got wrong out of forgetfulness, but that was the gist he remembered.

"Ah...I see..." Azriel nodded to show that she had been listening intently.
