Reginald & Desdemona & Anastasia Reginald closely examined the statue. "Perhaps this isn't actually a riddle that has a higher meaning, but a set of instructions? 'Before you lies what you need behind you'? So... something in the statue or the statue itself is what we need." He guessed. He had no idea in hell what it was or its meaning, but making idiotic guesses seemed okay since everyone else was dumbfounded as he. "'Behind you'? Something that happened in the past or physically behind us?" Des asked. "That part doesn't really matter if its a set of instructions." Anastasia pointed out. "Pay attention to the rest of the script." "'Let sorrow fall from above'? Hey, didn't that Absol know Rain Dance? Can he do it?" Reginald turned and began to search the crowd for said Absol. "Should these be in order?" Desdemona asked, though she didn't know waht 'Let the ground hold us steady' was supposed to be, if it was next.

    Solaris---Fiorin-----Cheshire-----Chase
Solaris paced in front of the statue while the guilds made their decision. He wouldn't force anyone to do what he wanted, but if the majority favored this path then they would go with this path.
Chase gave a snort of displeasure and turned away from the Buneary and his attempts to regain some form of acceptance from the Kirlia, but the Psychic wasn't having any of it. Nothing less than an official apology, otherwise Blight was SOL. His cold shoulder was interupted as something brushed his leg and Chase gave a shriek of alarm and jumped back onto the Buneary in a panic. There you go, Blight! Attention! The grass around the statue, that he'd been standing so close to, had grown ever-so-slightly. Solaris stared at it with wide eyes until he realized that it had not done so on it's own and quickly found the Bulbasaur in the crowd. Growth? She'd used Growth, right? To his surprise a single green light began to glow faintly from the center of the statues chest. It was a small glow and now that Solaris looked at the statue more closely he saw seven more non-glowing orbs embedded in a circle with the green on at the top. He starred at it puzzled, a paw scratching at his chin. "Let the grass grow high..." He repeated. Fiorin watched the guildmaster in his thoughtful confusion with mild annoyance. Clearly the riddles required some form of attack to answer them. Grass grow high = Growth which makes grass grow high. Let the ground hold us steady. What holds the ground steady? OH-oh! Something clicked! What's one of the only moves that can block Earthquake? A pale green Protect shield formed in front of the Pikachu who'd stepped up to the statue in order to make his intentions known. The stone next to the green one lit up in a pale lavender. "The answers are attacks!" "Quick!" Solaris declared eagerly, tail wagging now that the puzzle had been deduced. "Don't let the legends die! What could that one possibly mean?" He was rushed, because...well...after the Bulbasaur had completed the first line...the woods behind them had begun to close up and the path to the left was no longer open. They were trapped...and Solaris certainly didn't want to see what would happen if they didn't get out before the woods folded in around them.
The lines are in order and must be completed in order. The first is an introduction and can be ignored. Same for the last two lines. The eight inbetween are your riddles. Guess the attack described and unleash it to answer. If no one has the attack then fret not, Solaris can do it. Make sure you answer though so he knows what to do.
You are now set to a timer. One post per round, one guess per round for each person. You have two free throws in case no one guesses the answer in one round. If you exceed two mistakes, then you lose. Think carefully~

Ethfael & Erinn Erinn watched as the statue lit up in response to the attacks, backing as far away from it as possible. "Oh god...What are we doing?" he moaned to no one in particular. Glowing orbs of light couldn't mean anything good, not at all. "This is going to end badly I just know it..." he said quietly before he had to jump away from the foliage that was closing in around them. Bad idea bad idea bad idea. What if these balls ended up turning against them? He couldn't help that sinking feeling that they were getting themselves into more trouble than any of this was worth, not that anyone would listen if he said something anyways.
Ethfael paid his Paras companion no mind, watching two of the eight orbs begin to shine brightly as the moves in correspondence to the lines of the riddle were used. The Bulbasaur had used Growth, the Pikachu had used Protect... Fiorin shouted out in support of what the Dragonair had already deduced: the riddle lines corresponded to the names of the attacks. Solaris stated the next line quickly after and the line echoed in Ethfael's mind, reminding him of a certain story that he'd once been told. "Luster Purge..." the Dragonair said softly, shortly turning to Solaris and continuing with a sense of urgency, "Luster Purge Solaris, the answer has to be Luster Purge! Latios is the only Pokemon who learns it normally and the Lati twins are known to have the Soul Dew, containing the soul of a deceased Latios. Don't let the legends die." His reasoning having been explained, he nodded to the Espeon hoping that Solaris could perchance know the move, since, to his knowledge, none of the Guild members would.

~Blight
Blight, ever so prepared, caught his teammate in a position resembling a bridal hold. A smirk immediately becoming etched on his face as soon as he found himself as Chase's savoir from the threatening ways of the evil...grass. "You don't have to say anything~. You were bound to come crawling back to me eventually." And just as quickly as he he obtained any potential of gaining back the Kirlia's trust, he unintentionally washed it right back down the drain. "Oh, and by the way, I found that thing over there. We're keeping it, kay?" Still holding Chase he spoke, nodding his head back towards Tammet...Who was apparently now seated in a peculiar fashion and overcome once again by an all telling blank stare.

    Solaris---Fiorin-----Cheshire-----Chase
The Espeon turned slowly as the large Dragon-type spoke and he gave a brief nod before realizing...waitwhat. How would any of them know Luster Purge? He certainly didn't. Solaris frowned at this, how would they answer this one if no one knew the move?! What madness was this?! The Psychic's anger steadily grew and he snapped, gnashing his teeth at the statue. "YOU STUPID THING, WHAT KIND OF QUESTION WAS THAT-HOW THE HELL CAN ANYONE BUT LATIOS GET IN WITH THAT LINE OF QUESTIONING YOU RIDICUL-" His voice cut off with a screech, a golden glow filling the inside of his mouth before sputtering out and firing off in the form of a beam of light. The beam struck the statue with the sound of metal striking metal and the third stone began to glow brightly upon regonizing the attack as a Luster Purge. "...that's new." "All in favor of pretending our guildmaster doesn't vomit legendary attacks at random, say aye." Fiorin stated without waiting for a reply to delve into the next line. "Move swiftly, if you're ready."
Chase, being far too busy beating Blight with a rock he found on the ground, did not pay any mind to the next line of the poem in favor of making sure the rabbit knew his place once again. Tammet, however, got a curt nod of approval as the Kirlia decided that he wasn't annoying and wasn't BLIGHT, so naturally Tammet would be allowed to stay. Now hold still, Blight. A bigger rock is needed and Chase won't have you crawling off while he tries to find it.
Don't mind Solaris, he's seizuring on the ground due to having some kind of mental relapse. He'll be fine.

Morana && Zora && VeritasSo her assumptions were correct; all they needed was to use the moves described by the riddle in order. Veritas examined the next line carefully, and was surprised when a Dragonair gave the answer. The Jolteon had never even heard of a move called Luster Purge before, but evidently it must have been the correct answer as the guildmaster used it. Well, presumably he used Luster Purge. Veritas watched the Espeon in concern. "Are you ok sir?" Whatever the hell that was, it doesn't seem to have done any more harm than freaking Solaris out. Thus Veritas turned her attention back onto the riddle. "Move swiftly, if you're ready." Well, that seemed simple enough. The Jolteon's fur crackled slightly as stored up static electricity sparked into visibility. A second later the Jolteon was gone, ending up in a blink at Solaris's other side. The Jolteon exhaled and the sparks on her fur dissipated, letting go of the Agility.

Tammet
Tammet happened to note that Chase was looking for something. So, naturally, the Scraggy wanted to help. He lifted up and showed Chase all sorts of incorrect items. Eventually, he found a rock. A big a** rock. Sadly, his arms were too scrawny to lift it. Poor Tammet, unable to help. Harumi - Victor - Aiden
Victor watched the Jolteon attempt an Agility attack. However, there were multiple attacks having to do with speed, so Agility may have not been the absolute correct answer. Just to be sure... "Miss Eclipse, would you mind striking the statue with a Quick Attack?" The Scyther leaned over and told Harumi. The Eevee's face became flustered and angry. "Not if you keep calling me that!" She exclaimed, glaring at the Scyther. She then found a dark red paw against the back of her head. "Just do it, Harumi!" Aiden hissed at the younder vulpine Pokemon. Pouting and groaning, Harumi did as she was demanded. This was wrong, her taking orders from her underlings... Nevertheless, the Eevee dashed forward at quite a high speed, smacking her shoulder right into the base of the statue.

Pixie FrankieWhen Frankie saw the Bulbasaur use growth, it suddenly clicked what they were supposed to do. He wish he knew the Bulbasaur's name. But he walked on over to her anyway. " Hey, that was smart, how you figured out what the riddle ment." Pixie was close behind Frankie and nodded in agreement. " I wish I had thought of that." They watched as Solaris mysteriously used that legendary move. How would that work? If the Dragonair was right, Latios was the only pokemon who knew that move. Then how could an Espeon learn that? As the Jolteon used teleport and the oddly colored Eevee used quick attack, Frankie thought about the line. "Move Swiftly?" Swift definately moves swiftly. " Hey! If neither of those moves work, does anyone know swift?!" Pixie was already thinking about the next couple of lines. Floating? That was more than likely a water-type move. The first thing that comes to her mind is surf, Frankie doesn't know that move, but that Wartortle might accidentally know it. And if all else fails, the Espeon might somehow use that move too. " I know this is ahead of the game, but for the floating line, does anyone think it might be surf or just some plain water move like water gun?" And burning the path? Obviously fire. Probably ember or flamethrower. She would attempt ember when that line came along, and if that doesn't work, the Dragonair knows flamethrower.

Ver -- AliceSo it was based on attacks. Ver's left ear twitched as he watched the numerous Pokemon go about their speedy stunts. Ground based attacks weren't working, were they? What else could they do though? He blinked at the sound of Alice clearing her throat. "It says if you're ready. Wouldn't that mean preparation?" Alice cuffed her hands together, making eye contact with no one in particular as she spoke. She didn't even look at the statue-- it freaked her out. "Also, if ground attacks aren't working, why not try something aerial?" Ver's ears dropped at the comment. "But... Most flying based attacks are fast as is, aren't they? It's not like we went through all of our options." Alice ignored the Flareon in favor walking over to Solaris and giving the panicked Espeon a slight poke. "Solaris? Do you know Sky Attack?" It was a decent guess, at least. An air move, and one that required concentration... Why Solaris would know it is beyond her, but he did just use Luster Purge. Ver remained where he sat, his head simply tilting as Alice left to approach the spastic Espeon. "Is... Bounce an option..?" It was technically airborne, though the question was directed at no one other than his own thoughts.

~Blight
"You know you love me~." Blight sputtered out, his words possibly containing some delirium by this point as he found himself sprawled out on the ground with a black eye taking form. A couple good, blunt cracks to the head leaving him in the condition he found himself in now. Despite it being suggested to him to stay in place the Buneary found himself crawling after his assailant, soon after attaching himself to the ankle of the Kirlia and purring. "You're my favorite~." Yep, he was a tad out of it... "Why do you need big rocks when you have meeee?" The inquiry was placed followed by something even more astounding. "I'm sorry, you know, I'm...just mean and stuff to the people I like." All it took was a bit of bludgeoning to the head and a gurgled apology was produced.

Ethfael & Erinn Ethfael backed up as Solaris used the attack he had suggested, slightly surprised that the Espeon would be capable of such a thing but pleased nonetheless. As the attack shot through the air to collide with the statue, a sharp clang was heard just before the next orb lit up in response to the Legendary attack. He smirked slightly at the Pikachu's comment, but nodded in respect to Solaris; it was convenient to have someone around who could apply the solutions to the riddle, even if otherwise he could be a bit useless. As the Electric Type who had given the skeptic comment read the next line aloud the Dragonair listened closely, pondering to himself what the answer might be.
He didn't offer an immediate response as he had before, choosing instead to hang back and listen to the ideas of the others. Ethfael didn't comment on many of them, simply pondering one and the next as they occured or were suggested. There were two important things of note here: the first that the word "swift" was used as a description for motion, and the second the reference to being "ready." The last part almost implied... The Dragonair blinked in surprise as his thoughts were voiced aloud by Alice, the Kirlia having been rather quiet for a while now. He nodded in agreement to her reasoning; yes it implied preparing an attack, and there were far fewer options of prepared attacks that could be used. He listened to her suggestion to Solaris as she gave it and offered Alice a smile and nod. Yes, that did seem like the best of their remaining options.
Erinn poked his head up from nearby where Ethfael was, prodding the dragon with a claw. "Hey, Ethfael, use Extremespeed," the Bug Type said.
Ethfael looked down at him with confusion, wondering why the Paras would want to take part now. "Why?" he inquired.
"To solve this riddle that you all are so worried about," Erinn replied, rolling his eyes as though the answer was obvious. "Everybody else has done something, so we should too. They already used the generic stuff so if those weren't good enough then maybe Extremespeed will be. Move swiftly, right?" The Dragonair sighed, realizing that Erinn must have missed a good part of the comments and moves displayed in his cowering, but nevertheless Ethfael humored him, hoping that his thoughts to the right answer were right and it had already been given. One second he was where he stood, the next a blur of blue was seen beside the statue as he hit against it with an Extremespeed; by the time any onlookers had blinked he was back where he had been before as though nothing had happened at all.

    Solaris---Fiorin-----Cheshire-----Chase
Fiorin looked up as Pokemon began to rush about and perform their attacks for this statue like it was an audience. Man, this was really one of the weirdest things he's done so far since joining this guild. It was a Kirlia's voice that made him turn his attention to the question at hand. "Oh yeah, Sky Attack. It's one of three pre-charge required moves and being flying type it is also faster than the other two that are ice type. Move swiftly, if you're ready." The Pikachu raised his tail and swatted at Solaris with it in the way one would weild a fly swatter. The Espeon flailed in response before leaping to his feet. "Uwah?" "Use Sky Attack." The electric type demanded, pointing at the other Pokemon who had unleashed their own attacks. "No one else knows it." "B-but...I don't know it." "You didn't know Luster Purge either..." Fiorin replied with a frown before giving a quick spin and slapping the Espeon towards the statue with an Iron Tail. Perhaps a bit too hard as Solaris went flying face first into the statue...which...started to glow again? Apparently it viewed this as a Sky Attack. Sure, okay, we'll go with that. The pale blue stone shone alongside the lavender and green one and Fiorin stepped forward to read the next line. "Let us float like we're in love. Sounds like a lame 80s song..."
Chase ceased his quest for a bigger rock at the broken and possibly trauma induced apology, but an apology was an apology. Even if he had to literally beat it out of Blight. "You are forgiven." The Kirlia responded, pulling his leg free from the pile of Buneary and bestowing a light pat on the head to him.
Cheshy is still all over Jay, if your wondering.

Tammet
The little Scraggy had successfully located a rock much larger than normal and was able to lift it on his own. However, he was surprised to see that the hurting of Blight had ceased. Tammet then dropped the rock right where he was, which happened to be hovering right over Blight's face. "... Oops." Harumi - Victor - Aiden
Victor let out another one of his trademark sighs. He'd much rather they move on rather than deal with the rest of this riddle. "Hmmm... The line speaks of love, which could mean Attract or Captivate..." The Scyther mentioned. He turned his head to Aiden, who looked back indignantly. "What? Dude, this is all natural. I don't need any fancy moves to be this sexy." Victor rolled his eyes and scratched his head, ignoring the Umbreon. "I'm thinking, it could also mean Magnet Rise... Magnets are often used as metaphors for love, but I can't be completely sure..."

~Blight
All kinds of happy-happy brotherly embracing would have ensued if it weren't for the sudden, perfectly Buneary sized rock that decided to, through the forces of gravity, butt into the touching moment shared between Chase and Blight. The normal Pokemon, without warning, disappearing into the fortunately marshy ground brought about by recent rains. If it weren't for this fact death seemed like a likely alternative. Muffled cries resembling something along the lines of: "HolyArceussomebodyhelpmeit'sdarkandwetandallkindsofgrossdownhere" Could be barely heard if one were in the immediate vicinity of the big a** rock and the newly formed pit underneath it. It was probably best for a solution to be found soon assuming there wasn't a source of oxygen for Blight down there or anything of the like. The Buneary not needing another potential cause for obtaining more brain damage than what he had already suffered throughout the course of this adventure. On the bright side, Rock Throw was clearly an attempt at solving this riddle or something. A Rock Throw attack dealt with utmost love.

& & & & ( Red & Blue & Jay & Jo(e)y & Alaisdair )Jay looked up at the Hoot-hoot before them with a mix of curiosity and annoyance. Couldn't they just tie it up and beat the answers out of it? What a waste of time!
"Alright guys, we got three questions, lets see...I'll get one, Joey can get one, and Jay, you can share one with Red" Blue said. Jay flicked an ear, "Why do I have to share?" he mumbled, looking up at the Hoot-Hoot. First he gets a bite to the tail, and now they were making him share and think. This was waaaay too much for him, he only came on the basis that his job was to kick something.
Alright, no, c'mon Jay, you can do this..."Darnit, what should I ask?!" he said aloud. Blue face-pawed, "You just wasted your question" Jay looked back, sticking his tongue out. "Who do you think you are, the question police?" Blue groaned and nearly facepawed again so hard that his brain could have fallen out of the back of his head. "Now we only have one question left, could you be any dumber?!"
All of them went silent, and Jay started to snicker. Joey pat Blue on the back, "Hate to state the obvious, but ya just wasted our last queshun" he said. Blue looked up at him, but he couldn't speak. all he could do was let out a sound that sounded kind of like "Ffffffffffff-" while looking up at the Audino. He turned his attention to Jay, "This is your fault" "Mine! You're the one that wasted the last question!" "You're the one who wasted the first two!" "Yeah, but you made me come to this thing!" "To make up for last week, when you gave me that horrible lunch!" "Those were perfectly good berries!" "Perfectly poisonous!" "You didn't have to eat them if yo-"
"ENOUGH!" Red yelled out, finally making herself known. She stormed over to the two, stamping one paw on the ground harder than she had the others as she stopped in front of them. "Jay the Zorua, Blue the Sneasel..." both of them took a gulp as Red glared at them. "As leader of this team, I now pronounce you both MAN AND WIFE. Now you two can really argue like a married couple!" She barked at them. She pointed over at Jays tail, more specifically Cheshire. "Just keep it pg, wouldn't want your kid to pick anything up." and with that, she turned away and left, ready to ignore them until this was all over.
"...did she just..." "Can she even do that?" Both of them wondered aloud. They looked stunned, eyes open in shock of what had just happened. After a few seconds of silence Jay smirked, looking up at Blue. "I call man, we're keeping my last name. Now go make me a sandwich" Blue glared at him, claws extending as he spoke, "Why you little-" "RUN KIDDO!" Jay interrupted with a laugh, luckily just about the time that the guilds started leaving the Hoot-hoot and going towards the statue. Lucky for him he got lost in the crowd, but Blue was and still is after him.
Meanwhile, the other three members of the team were actually being useful...and while Blue searched the crowd for his husband, Red, Joey, and Alaisdair tried to make sense of the riddle. They watched as Growth was used for the first line, followed by their guildmaster being able to use Luster Purge some how some way and then topped off with a Sky Attack...ish thing. Well, whatever worked. Red read over the next line, "Let us float like we're in love...in love...Joey!" The Audino spat on the ground, "Ye?" "Go seduce that statue" He nearly dropped his Oddish. "I ain't playin' pretty fer no statue" he said fimly. The Vulpix glared up at him, "Do it"
After an intense stare-off Joey looked away, "fine..." he mumbled, walking up to the statue. He made sure he was looking at it directly and that it was facing him the right way. With a sigh he closed his eyes, looking up at the statue and opening his eyes as they seemed to gain a sort of shine to them. A sort of...cute, half masculine half adorable shine. Putting a paw over his mouth, he blew a kiss at the statue, shimmering pink hearts coming out and circling around it. He gave a wink and a wave to top it off, oh good god this was a bad idea...
[[ Edit: Oh goodness, I forgot to mention. He used attract C: ]]
