The song that was playing over head was abruptly stopped and changed to something else. Mitsu had to wonder what was going on. The questions in her mind were soon forgotten though as Xiu approached the table, this time with their plates of food. It all looked....not like the picture.
"It's very cute." Mitsu smiled picking up her chop sticks to poke at one of the heart shaped boiled eggs. She had never seen anything like it before. "It looks very good, thank you Xi..." Wait what had her fake name been? Mitsu tried to think. "Y-Yui Long." She didn't want them to further blow their cover after all!
At Shun's prompt to give it a try Mitsu stared at her chop sticks for a moment realizing she had never really used anything like this before. For a moment she looked at Shun to see how he was holding his before looking around to take notes on what other people were doing. It seemed easy, one just rested in the crook of the hand while the other was held like a pencil.
When she thought she had it down Mitsu tested out the movement before lowering the chopsticks to pick up a piece of sushi. It seemed to be going well until she actually lifted the sushi off the plate. She managed to bring it up a few inches before her weak hold had the sushi dropping back to the plate and her chop sticks falling out of her hand to clatter to the table. "I-I don't suppose these are finger foods?" Mitsu asked quietly in an almost embarrassed tone.

Furrowing his brow as Mitsu struggled with the chopsticks, Shun's eyes softened. Well.. they could eat with their fingers, but it probably would be good if she learned to use chopsticks anyway. If not today, then at some point in time.
"Give me your hand," he said while picking up her chopsticks and reaching out for her hand. The Reaper figured he might as well try and help her out here while he could.

Looking up a Shun shyly Mitsu slowly reached out her hand allowing the reaper to take it. His hand holding her's made a blush rise to her cheeks as his fingers slowly showed hers what to do. It was all she could do to pay attention as he placed the chopsticks in her hands correctly.
When the contact was over Mitsu sat there for a moment wishing it could have lingered a bit longer. Shortly she thought about dropping her chopsticks again but that would just be silly. He had placed them in her hand and they seemed to be held steadily in place.
"T..that does seem better," Mitsu said softly still staring at the chopsticks in her hands. "Thank you."

There was.. something a little strange about this, but he tried to not think about it. There were enough things going on through his head that he didn't need to worry about any other feelings swimming around through his mind. Once he had the chopsticks in place, he released her hand and picked up his own pair.
"You're welcome," he said quietly, "Go ahead and try now."
Shun wanted her to try the sushi before he had any.

The food had been delivered, and the mood set... Now all that was left was to wait for something to happen. To her, that was the most difficult part; she couldn't help but feel that Shun was holding back his feelings somehow... Then again, he did mention something about never having the experience of being free with his emotions.
For someone like that, he was learning pretty fast at least.
Taking the hands of both her Love Squad members, she led them over to the small, round window at the double doors of the kitchen, where the couple could be viewed quite clearly (for three people sharing the same view from a porthole anyway).
"He's teaching her how to hold the chopsticks!" She giggled, grinning as she rubbed her hands together in glee, "That's so cute!"

"O..okay," Mitsu nodded before she made an attempt at round two with the sushi. She was much more careful this time, placing a hand under the sushi just in case as she lifted it off the plate and toward her. It was working though! The sushi was staying with the chopsticks this time and the chopsticks were staying in her hand. So far so good.
Once the sushi was close Mitsu brought her free hand up to move her mask just slightly. This mask didn't cover as much of her face and didn't require as much moving to eat. Once it was out of the way Mitsu placed the sushi in her mouth and began to chew. It certainly was different but it was good! Her tail began to swish behind her in her chair as she stared at the plate. "It's really good!"

Waiting to see how Mitsu reacted to the sushi, Shun relaxed when it seemed that she really liked it. Nodding, he lifted up his utensils and went on to have one as well. The sushi was pretty good here indeed! Though.. it could be someone he knew that made it. He wasn't sure. But right now, he didn't really care anyway.
"Not bad at all," he commented before motioning to the rest, "Go ahead, eat your fill. If this isn't enough, I could always order more."

Smiling behind her mask Mitsu gave a nod before she reached out to take up another piece of sushi. In her mind this was the best, just being about to spend time with the reaper. Her worries didn't bother her nearly as much in his presence and the future didn't look as bleak as it had before.
Still though, should she tell the reaper how she felt? Should she let Shun know the feelings that had been pressing in around her for a while? As she popped the sushi into her mouth and started to chew Mitsu looked up toward Shun again watching him enjoy the sushi was well. He was so confused about friendship in general, would it still be too much to ask for him to try to understand something more?
The unseen smile became a little sad but did not fade. Mitsu cared about her friend deeply and didn't want to burden him with more thoughts and confusion. In time perhaps she would enlighten him but tonight she just wanted to spend time with her friend. Her best friend.
"Thank you for taking me out today. It's been fun." Mitsu mused before picking up another piece of sushi. True the scenario at the movie theater could have played out a little differently but over all it hadn't gone badly.

For the most part, as he ate, he was pretty silent. Shun didn't really have anything to say at the time. Aside from that, he also was thinking to himself, going over a few things now that he finally had some quiet time to mull it over again. He was trying to recall various moments within the past few months and trying to remember how he felt at those times. Few of those moments were bad, in his opinion.
When Mitsu spoke up, he snapped from his thoughts and looked towards her. Well, in the very least, she was enjoying things here.
"I'm glad you've enjoyed it," he said quietly before finishing up his meal, "It's.. been a pretty nice night so far."
When they finished eating, the Reaper went ahead and placed the seeds onto the table before getting up and slinging his guitar back over his shoulder. Waiting a moment or so, he turned towards her, hesitating briefly before motioning towards the door.
"Come on.. let's take a little walk."

The meal had been mostly quiet which was nice in some aspects and bad in others as it let Mitsu's mind wander to topics of 'what if.' Though soon the food was gone and Shun had placed some seeds on the table to pay the tab. Mitsu would have to be sure to treat the reaper at some point to make up for him paying for so many things. The sushi wasn't exactly cheap.
"Okay, a walk sounds nice," Mitsu smiled behind her mask as she stood from her seat and followed Shun out of the restaurant. Night had fallen completely now and the streets were lined with the softer glow of lantern light. "Where would you like to go?" The lycan asked tilting her head up to look at Shun.
She would have made sure to tell their friend's goodbye but they were all working. Mitsu would have to call them all later to apologize and see how their shift at the restaurant had gone.

Opening the door for Mitsu, Shun soon stepped out after her. The question she tossed him had him think for the moment. Well, he supposed he could continue on with the 'itinerary' Lizzy had given him. It was just about as good of a place as any other. Hopefully the girls wouldn't suddenly be springing up on him like they had at the restaurant.
That had been awkward.
"I.. know of this one garden not too far. It's not too bad," he replied softly.

"Okay." Mitsu nodded following Shun as he led the way to their destination. At first she wondered where they were going and soon realized they were heading back to school. The mystery was soon solved as they made it back to school grounds and started toward the reaper dorms. They weren't even within sight of where they were going when Mitsu realized where Shun was taking her. It was the garden where Lizzy had taken her to discuss a few things.
Sure enough they soon arrived, though in a different area of the garden than Lizzy and Mitsu had been before. Here the plant life in the area was thick making a wall around a secluded sitting area that was probably mostly unused due to how hidden it was.
A smile started to touch Mitsu's lips as she looked around taking in the sight of everything under the moonlight. The garden reminded her a lot of the garden her parents had when she was little. Or what she could remember of it anyway. Certainly to her at that age everything was taller and grander than it was in real life. "This place if wonderful."

Shun hadn't really been to this garden before, but it definitely wasn't too bad. The foliage was kind of nice, but furthermore.. it was quiet and secluded here. Two things that he generally enjoyed. Glancing over at Mitsu as he heard her comment on the area, he looked back around before spotting a bench on the other end of the garden.
"Yeah.. it's not too bad at all," he murmured. He was starting to feel a little antsy now, not sure where to go from here. For now, he supposed the bench would do, so he made his way over towards there and carefully removed his guitar from over his shoulder.
"Have.. you been here before?" he asked quietly while sitting down and looking around a little more.

Seeing Shun heading toward the bench Mitsu followed before taking a seat on the ground by his feet. "Kind of. Lizzy took me to a different area of the garden before. I haven't been here." She looked around again taking in her surroundings before her eyes focused on a familiar flower in the distance. She seemed to recall seeing something familiar a long time ago.
"It's nice and quiet though. It seems like a good place to come and relax." Indeed it was a soothing place to be, though the company certainly helped more than anything.

"I see," He nodded before sitting down. Pausing, he stared towards the ground where Mitsu sat by. There were two small disks of sorts, surrounded by feathers. Leaning over, he picked them up. They were Yin and Yang symbols. Strange... why were they here?
"You're not going to sit on the bench?" Shun asked, unsure why she decided to sit on the ground.
