Stage Two: Pass!
It seemed more fire was to follow! Sura had to wonder about these people and their...fire fascination they had going on. It was a curious thing, that fire. However, it was with slight problems that the Colossus fit herself through the hoops. Funny how being big wasn't always helpful.
In fact, Sura left the second stage of things very very singed.

Stage 3: Pass!
For a brief moment, Sura had contemplated on if the Bombs were edible or not. She'd even sat down to watch them with great curiosity. However, after a few explosions too many, she determined that they weren't exactly the best thing to keep.
The Colossus had deemed it smarter to not eat the bombs and instead moved on, singed from sitting and enjoying the show.

Stage 4: CATASTROPHIC FAIL!!
The funny thing about having a big body was that it gave more room for leaping flaming things to jump out of nowhere and cling to your body, gnawing and biting all over the place. Sura's bellow of WHAT THE FUUUCCCCKKKKKK proportions was easily heard as she toppled into the lava while trying to shake the damn things off of her.
She was very crispy now.

There was a surge of energy that had Riley flipping over those flaming hurtles this time around. She was going to do this. She was going to make it to the and, and she was going to pin Firth down, and get every ounce of information that he had. She was going to wring it out of him with her own tentacl-
... This obstacle course was starting to get to her.

Stage Two: Fail
And it got to her in more ways than one, as she jumped through the flying hoops and they flared suddenly, enveloping her in flames. It would have been quite a lovely show, if she hadn't been too busy being burned to a crisp to see it.

Stage One:
It was a brand new day. Jericho took in a deep breath while staring down the course. Riley had gone ahead first as usual. Closing his eyes, he soon bolted down towards the hurtles. One by one he cleared them with the flames licking at his feet and legs as he did so. It wasn't a bad feeling. He nearly stumbled now and then, but before too long, he found himself on the other end.
Pausing as he cleared the last one, he turned around and beamed.
"HELL YEAH!" He cried out triumphantly.

Stage Two
And thus came the next obstacle. Tilting his head at the flaming rings of doom, Jericho confidently charged ahead.
Perhaps the small victory he had with the hurtles got to him because he ended up crashing headfirst into the pole rather than the hoop. Ow.

Once again, Ru found herself staring down flames... A lot of flames. "... Why the hell do I keep coming back to this s**t!?" She pouted for a moment, before her eyes caught sight of the bomb maypole. "... Right..." She muttered, sighing, and off she went...
...
And down she went! Wrapped under, around, through, and in between the flaming hurdles, the troll writhed in agony until she disipated, appearing elsewhere.
When she came to, one of the nurses chided her. "Always forget to untie your shoelaces! Loops get caught on EVERYTHING, girl! Sheesh..."

STAGE ONE:PASS
It seemed once again, Sura was not doomed to be set on fire! Being able to step OVER the hurdles, rather than have to jump was also helpful. THen again, she wasn't quite springy enough for jumping, so that was all she could do.
That and not drag her tail. That was helpful too.
But at least she'd gotten over that first..hurdle.... no pun intended.

It also seemed the issue of 'Hi, I'm a giant wall' kept her from having an issue with the hoops. Though it seemed blinking would render one from figuring out how she didn't set herself on fire while going through them. Hmmmm...
...

Because she certainly didn't STEP through them, and jumping probably wasn't the solution so..
...

Sura didn't even stop to contemplate eating the bombs today. She just shuffled on by. Then again, it helped her strong body was able to..not go flying if hit by stuff. She probably had all sorts of debris hanging off of her horns.
WHOOPS.
But hey, she was getting through mostly unsinged!

STAGE FOUR: PASS!
And then it was time..for those horrible things. Those horrible horrible things with the lava and the gnashing and the biting and the horrible. Sura did not like those things. She didn't like them in the least. She regarded the lava cautiously as she stepped from stone to stone at her own steady pace, her tail whipping from side to side aggressively as she did so.
She'd pwn those damn piranha things if she had to.
Fortunately for them, they weren't....paying attention to her, was her guess. It seemed today she had crossed it all safely enough.

She'd lost count of how many times they had tried this. She had also lost sight of exactly why. What were they trying to do again? Was there eternal glory at the end of this? Was she supposed to do.. something..?
She jumped over the hurtles distractedly, trying to focus her muddled, reform-weary mind.

Oh! She remembered now. She was going to grill that ToTer Hellma had mentioned. The one they had gone to save. He was at the end of this, wasn't he.. except.. what was his name again.. she couldn't recall..
Riley's memory had never failed her before. Never. This was getting a little scary. She cannoned through the hoops like a snake, tumbling to the ground past them, and sat there for a moment as she tried to recollect herself.

Stage Three: Fail
Firth. That was his name. Her eyes narrowed as her head cleared. Dying repeatedly was affecting her mentally, and that was completely unacceptable. This would have to stop.
Of course, the flaming bomb that exploded inches from her midsection disagreed.
When she re-emerged at the infirmary this time, she stared at the ceiling and furrowed her brow.
What was she doing again..?
