"Viva la revolucion!" Griffin lobbed another balloon at Castille, saving the higher impact throws for Talia, her ex-bff. Sometimes this meant that balloons would just bounce harmlessly off, but other times it worked! And she wasn't really in the game to do any harm to anyone. Especially not the campers. Looking to the side, she saw three of the youngest ones working together. It did her heart good to see cooperation at such an early age. Albeit if they were working together so as to beat the snot out of the Red Team. Eh, that didn't matter. Competition was healthy! Although, it wouldn't be if all of the kids caught colds from being cold and wet.
Daydreaming aside, she ducked behind another team member to dodge a balloon and then darted to get more balloons. She looked back to see the result of her attack. A hit! Victory would be hers!

Ainsley looked to Peter, Lissy and even to Sam. Peter was so encouraging it was hard for the child to resist so she picked up another balloon, holding it carefully in her palms as she looked back towards the field. It was looking pretty slippery at this point and Ainsley looked less like she wanted to go out there by the minute, at least not in a hurry. Instead, she slowly, creeping, walking out onto the field until she found someone with a red bandana and threw it, but she forgot to keep her eyes open.
Her eyes shot back open a couple seconds later and she looked around to see where the balloon had gone, effectively seeing it hit someone on the red team. She squealed out with excitement and turned to Peter and Sam, almost slipping on the wet grass, latching onto the closest teammate Peter so she didn't fall.
"I hit them! Look look! I hit them!"

"I see, Ainsley." Smiling Jenna was happy, maybe they'd win! Winning wasn't the biggest thing, this was all about fun really. But winning would be nice also.
A balloon in her hands, she'd just returned from getting another one. It seemed her own luck was up and down, not that she was upset over it. This was all good fun really. The balloon was thrown at the red team by the girl.

Lissy was maybe a little too confident while walking on water logged grass but yet she did it all the same. Her walk boasted of how good she was at not falling over until a balloon hit her square in the face and she slipped over landing quite harshly on her back side.
“Ouch!” She cried as she landed but she wasn’t down long, when was Lissy ever down long? She crawled back to where there were some balloons and grabbed a few cuddling them close to her chest before crawling on her knees and with one hand to somewhere that would give her a good advantage. This girl had been watching too many films that were too old for her! Yet she found a good area leaving Ainsley alone with the boys again. She then sat down on the water logged grass and sorted her ‘bombs’ into order of which one she was going to throw first.
Red first, then yellow and then red again. It seemed like a good plan to her. She knelt up a little to see what was going on and spotted a red band and lobbed the water bomb at them. She then ducked down again and carried on ‘hiding’ and waiting for her next victim.... yellow water bomb in hand!

Her chest was heaving, breaths escaping quickly out of her wide grin. It was exhilirating. The little girl she'd played at with the lake a couple days before appeared, red bandana and all. "Oy Istas!" She laughed as the balloon was tossed at her, lifting her arm to block her face.
Aitana didn't even bother getting up before she grabbed at the pile and threw her next balloon in retaliation.

Ainsley quickly found herself standing back on her own feet again, looking between Sam and Peter with a small grin. Everything was soaked, including herself and the two boys, and the field was staring to become a danger to the children who were playing on it. With this in mind, and her own close encounter, the child quickly picked up three water balloons from the pile she had made earlier, handing one to Sam, one to Peter and keeping the other in her own. They should end it as soon as possible so no one else slipped and fell, yes! She didn't say anything, but the child adjusted her black bandana proudly and lifted her arm up, closed her eyes on reflex and threw the balloon at a passing Team Red member. It seemed she'd missed though, and with a small frown she quickly went for another balloon instead. She'd have to do better!

After the first epically failed toss with a specially made blue balloon -- by care of the slippery mud, who sent her sliding on her bum and the projectile back to sender -- Harper had finally gotten the hang of tossing the little buggers. For her, the trick was feeling out the weight first or playing a little sneaky. She admired the upfront brawler Aitana, but that style was doing nothing for her.
It was hard to tell who was winning when everyone was wet and the whole area decimated, though one thing was sure upon Harper's return to the refill tub: they were low on ammo! Currently, she was still one of the weakest links on the assault force, so the decision for her to switch positions and fill more balloons was an obvious one.

Ainsley got a hold of another water balloon after she had untied her black bandana from around her neck and moved it to hold back her wet hair that was disturbing her vision. She studied it for a moment, and then the field. She didn't want to move too much over the wet grass, so instead she waited a couple minutes for a member of Team Red to run by before she managed to keep her eyes open as she launched the balloon into the air and hoped for the best. What happened? Her eyes followed the balloon and... it hit! The child jumped into the air, hands pressed together and squealed. She did it again!

Aitana hated to admit she was tired.. but maybe that was why so many of her shots were going a stray even in such close proximity. Or maybe it was just the inherent wobbliness of balloons filled with water.
She would not give up though, not until she passed out or was the last one standing. Giving another loud battle cry, to try and encourage herself, she tossed another balloon towards the red team.

Ok, so her luck was up and down, this whole game. Jenna was hoping for her luck to continue in a positive manner. It wouldn't do to continue to fail, if only because she really couldn't be that bad. Going to get herself another balloon, green this time, the braided preteen hurried back to her previous position.
Taking up her spot, from which to throw from, she did just that. Sending a balloon wibbling through the air toward..someone? Aitana wasn't the only one tiring, Jenna was also. But she wasn't about to let this fun end so soon. She'd been tired almost this whole time at camp...which was odd really.

She hadn't been attacked again, but with new balloons in her arms, Griffin thought it would be best to go on the offensive once more. She aimed for Talia. She was a distance away so she had to wind up before her pitch and threw as hard as she could.
Oh no! Her first miss! She frowned and with her tail metaphorically between her legs, she ran back to the balloon station to go get more ammunition.

Harper was thankfully a better balloon-maker than balloon lobber -- though there had been a few early ones that exploded before their time, may they rest in pieces -- so she kept up the production line. One nice advantage of this position was the better traction, since the grass was no so waterlogged or turned up, which was amusingly becoming quite the issue on-field.
"How long until this was as much a mudbattle as a waterbattle?" Harper mused to herself with a laugh.

Sam smiled at Ainsley. He hoped that she was having fun and enjoying herself; he certainly was. Taking another balloon, he mindlessly tossed it at the first member of team red that he saw.

Lissy giggled as she tried to jump up and throw her remaining stash of water bombs at Istas. After all they were suppose to be getting everyone wet right?
She then crawled back over towards Ainsley, Sam and Peter as she had given up on trying to walk! She just kept sliding over!
