DAY ONE SCENARIOS!It was a long and arduous journey, but you finally made it. You finally made it to the lab, the place where you would find out whom your partner would be, and take the first step to finding out what you are capable of.
With a determined look on your face you charged in to the lab and headed straight for the area the professor would most likely be hanging out. To your surprise you see that your rival had made it before you, and as always he/she had that smug look on your face. “Well well, look who finally made it. Tch, you look and smell like the back end of a Miltank…”
  In the midst of your little fight the professor has entered the room, and looks at the two of you like two pups squabbling over a bone. But what does one expect from a pair of 10 year olds? To your surprise the professor doesn’t look very….professor-like. No, he looks like…Dr.Janus? o mo
What are these doctors doing in the Pokemon world!?
No time to think about that now, because it is time to choose your partner! Hopefully he/she likes you~?  Despite your pokemon liking or disliking you [or rather you not getting a pokemon at all], and the snorts from both your rival and Janus, you try to hold on to what little possible pride you have left in you. Grabbing your pokemon , or not, and trying not to cry, you turn to make your exit only to be stopped by your rival and challenged for the tradition “HEY! I JUST GOT MY POGEYMON, SO WE MUST BATTLE!” battle. It’s now or never… Whether you won or not, like goes on. You either have to keep swimming…walking…something, or break down and cry. With your pokemon by your side, you leave the lab and head back towards the forest. However, you are stopped by a strange old man blabbering on and on about how he wants to teach you about catching pokemon, and maybe something about a TV or radio. I think we all know who he is…. 8B  Hey look! You’re back at the toll booth, and look who’s there waitin’ for ya! 8D
I don’t think the look on his face is good news for you…
