There was a spark of shock shared between the two, but they managed to hold it down for now.
"Of course!" Jace said before nodding to their superiors.
"Yes sir! And thank you, sir," Warden added. They indeed had quite a bit of a long watch ahead, but he was determined to get it done right. It was exciting to hear they would be knighted, but he would rather not do anything that could potentially mess with those chances.
"Yes, thank you, sir!"
Once able to, the two went off to eat their fill so that they could prepare to do their watch.
