Newt
As much as he would have liked to brave, Newt knew that he wasn’t all that handy with the sword. Sure, he won many a battle against his own shadow and the tree across the way. But he wasn’t all too clever either, he knew enough to get by, but who knew how tricky the game would be. He hemmed & hawed, trying to make up his mind. With a shrug he answered the little creature, “Well, I guess we can Battle.”
[I can’t seem to decide, so I’m going to roll, LOL.
One 20-sided die - if result is 1-10 Battle, if if result is 11-20 Brain Game]

Abeya
Abeya jumped back and squeaked, looking at where Newt had once been. “What in the name of-…” She looked around with a paranoid expression, worried what may happen to her. "Whatcha gonna do now, Mousy?" She looked up into the trees and called out, “What have you done? Where did he go?…You bring him back right this instant!” She felt completely helpless, fighting with a random voice in the air. All she could do was keep alert and hope that Newt was safe.

Newt
The little gnome creature leaps up and smacks you across your little nose before you even get a chance to think about reacting. The little bugger is fast. "Grab up that sword and try to hit me!"
Roll five four sided dice (5 x four sided dice)
Abeya
"She don't seem to care much." came a different voice from the tree tops... "She cares, lookit her tail... it's all poofed." Came the first. "I think the word is puffy..." retorted the second. "That don't make any sense, poof and poofy only sound a little like puffy..." - " But then why didn't you say poofy instead of poofed?" - "Cause poofed is what I meant!" Shouted the creature. "Hey!" Shouted yet a third... "I want to play, kin I ask for a kiss?" - "Well you just did, didn't you?" Came a grumbly voice. "Alright. Mousey... I would like a kiss from you... will you give me that?"
Mortimer
You try to run into a tree to knock the little creature off, and you succeed, although perhaps a little too well... you manage to knock yourself unconscious, well done. When you awake, there is a small dirty gnomelike creature sitting on your chest, staring down into your face. "Hello there ugly." The little voice says. "I was just about to kiss you the kiss of life.... you know, like the sleeping beauty." He grins at you. "You still want a kiss of life? Makes ya feel better...."

There he was, at a desert oasis, lounging in a chair, enjoying life. Mortimer had a goblet of the finest nectar from the Great Tree itself, and a foxy lady was feeding him sweet, succulent grapes. He stared longingly into her... eyes... headlights... um, eyes, and in a low, seductive voice he said, "Hey sweet thing, how about some sugar for the hero?" Then he closed his eyes, and puckered up.
After a painfully long (and insulting) amount of time, Mortimer peaked open his eyes to see what was taking his busty goddess so long.
Then he screamed like a little girl.
This was so not what he was expecting! How could cruel fate torment him so? What type of sick joke was the universe playing?
Why would someone hex his hot girlfriend and turn her into an ugly gnome!?
Okay, the whole thing was thrown off. Mortimer was still going to bang her, but he really wasn't going to like it. He'd let her down gently in the morning-- another broken heart in yet another part of the forest. One of these days he really should mark down the parts of the map he needed to avoid because of one night stands gone sour.
Mortimer closed his eyes again, and thought about how pretty she used to be. Letting out a long sigh, he said with half of his usual smarm, "Babe, you have it wrong. I'm going to give you the kiss of your life."

Quote: Trix Rando a 1-5 for your success rate please, either here or in the main thread. Quote: With the plea, the creature pulls harder against your foot, sinking you all the way to your elbows before you stop sinking and the ground goes solid around you again... all that is left above ground is your paws and your body from the middle of your upper arms and up.... there's really no moving either, with all the sand put in really close around you. Then suddenly a little man/gnome comes crawling up from the sand about an arms length in front of you. He walks over calmly and grins at you as he sits down. "Hi there." He says. "Got a minute?" So he had just made things worse, great, just great. He tried to move a little but there was not point to go on. And then it was there, the little... thing that came up out of the sand and Rhys couldn’t help but let out, “Wow you’re ugly.” Okay that was probably a bad idea, insulting the gnome when he was at it’s mercy. When it asked him a question he looked at it curiously, then down at his stuck torso and then back up. “No, sorry I’m terribly busy right now,” he replied, being as sarcastic as he could.

Keppit "But I want to bother you." The gnome almost looked cute as it stared up at you... but as you started to walk away, it began to follow you right on your heels. You could swat it away.... or you could try and talk it down Epra glanced over her shoulder as she continued on down the tunnels. The thing was still following her. The shrew gave a bit of a sigh. Perhaps it'd give up pursuit once she got closer to the bathspring. That thing looked as if a good wash would cause it to fall apart... And so the shrew tried to ignore the rather smelly shadow she'd acquired.

Keppit "No YOU have a funny nose. Mine is just right." The gnome grabbed the tip of his nose in one hand and wiggled it around, showing off the full extent of it. "You can't do any of this with yours, and so mine is better." Tuck watched as the thing wiggled his nose around. " COOL! Do it again!!" Oh boys...

Keppit "Oh." The gnome stepped out of the bushes so it could be seen and pointed a chubby little finger at the creature curled up at your feet. "We're you going to eat that? I'll take whatever's left over if that's the case, I'm not picky." Suddenly he grinned. "Fight you for it?" The young hedgehog wrinkled his nose at the suggestion that HE had been going to eat the poor bug. " No, I-" He was cut short by the suggestion of a fight. He raised his stick. " I'm not afraid to fight you!"

Keppit "Wash my mouth out?" He hopped up and down coming close enough to get a good look at him *if you haven't already* and he looked perturbed. "If I washed out my mouth, then I'd kill all the great flavours I got going on!" He opened his mouth wide and showed all the rotten little yellow teeth and slime/spit draping in and out of his jowls... "Okay, I showed you mine, now show me yours." Winnie backed away, appalled. " Ewwwww... Gross! You need a mouth-washing most definitely! And a good bath," she added as an afterthought almost. This little creature needed scrubbing head to toe and inside and out! What filth!!

Keppit The little gnome was perched in a tree right above you, and he grinned down at you as he waggled a chubby finger in your direction. "'s not ruined! 'S personalized." He grinned. "You want I should personalize all your other stuff for you? I bet I could even hit your glasses from here." " Why don't you come down here and let me 'personalize' your sorry tail instead?" Fran huffed, disgusted completely. She could do some 'personalizing' with her fist on the gnome's face!

Newt
Newt jumped up and grabbed his sword. Holding it tight with both hands, he started to swing at the creature, grunting and grumbling.
[dice roll for Newt]
Abeya
Abeya glanced around, her eyebrow cocked in confusion. “Huh?” She turned and looked at her tail, Doesn’t seem poofed or puffy to me…weirdos…whatever they are. She sighed and waited for them to finished their discussion, Any time now! “Excuse me?!…I can’t even see you…why would I give you a kiss?…You took My Newt away!”

Mortimer
With your permission the little gnome creature plants a big soggy wet kiss right on your lips. As he pulls back he leaves a trail of slime from his lips to yours... gross. Then he grins at you and pulls away, poofing into a plume of dust. "You win..." Whispers an almost ethereal voice. YOU WIN! Mort gets a Category One prize ^_^
Trix *rolled a 4* mostly success....
You manage to pry his hands from your eyes so that you can see, and you also manage to throw yourself into a tree so that he falls from your personage and you're free... at least, you thought you were... but as you start to move away from him, you find that his hand is wrapped up in your skirt and he probably won't let go. You're either going to have to fight him or talk him down... ((fighting him requires 5 4 sided dice, talking requires brains XD ))
Rhys
"Okay" The little gnome shrugged his dirty, sand covered shoulders and got up to walk away. "Just call if you need me." Within a second he had burrowed down under the sand again.... as you're left to wonder what you're going to do stuck in the sand you hear a voice... "Though, come to think of it... I could let you out, if you wanted to fight me?"
Epra
You're good at ignoring the gnome... unfortunately ignoring them just seems to make them act out all the more. This one actually grabs your pants cuff and pulls hard enough to make you fall forward onto your face. Before you can get up the gnome creature hops up onto your back. "Wanna fight me? Or your could kiss me and make me a prince..." He grins at you.
Winnie
"I'll tell you what." He closes his mouth and takes an almost executive step forward... "I'll wash my mouth out if you'll give me a kiss... would be a great thing to get a kiss from a creature so lovely as yourself."
Tuck
"No way!" The creature scowled at you for a second.... "But I'll tell you what...I'll do you one better if you can beat me in a fair fight..."
Garret
"OKay!" Shouts the gnome creature... "Fight me if you want then! I'll even give you first shot..." (( if you fight roll 5 4 sided dice))
Fran
"Okay!" The little creature dive bombs you from the trees, but he didn't seem to be aiming for you, because he flops down about an arms length away... attack him? talk to him? ((if you skip to attack roll 5 4 sided dice in a post that's not the same as garret's))
Newt 1, 4, 3, 4, 2
Your first swing is a complete miss, but in perfect three stooges style, your next three swings get the little creature as he stands up from ducking the first, and then in the face when he's recovering from the second, and in the butt on the third. Your final (fifth) swing gets the little guy on the foot causing him to hop around yelping. He was apparently not as good a fighter as he thought, because as he hops around, he falls into a rock and hits his little head. The gnome creature poofs into nothingness (or as nothingness as a plume of dirty smoke can get. You hear a voice... "You win, little mouse warrior... now just sit and wait, you're the prize for the other mousie." YOU WIN! game over for Newt, he wins a category 2 prize ^_^ ... and he's going to be stuck on his little island until Abeya finishes her half.
Abeya
"INcoming!" hollers a voice... and before you know it a little gnome creature flops *literally flops* down into a pile of leaves to your right. He comes waddling out where you can see him, and he is particularly dirty for the gnome creatures. "Whats it gonna be mousie lady? A kiss or a kick? you'll get your fig Newton back." He grinned. "Aw, Dewly, they don't get your jokes, they're forest beasts!" Cried a voice from the woods. "I told you! I don't care! I think I'm funny!" He retorted.

He flinched slightly at the sudden movement and hopped back with alarm as something seemed to drop in front of him. It was... it was... he scrunched his nose and squinted his eyes. He had NO idea what the thing was, as he stared at the small brown hairy thing.
"What... what are..."
He paused mid-sentence as he noticed the thing had an armful of pinecones, only after it had pelted him with one.
"H-hey!" he muttered, blinking back stars. "What was that for?!"

Abeya
“I’d rather kick you, but I doubt that’s what you meant.” She wrinkled her nose and put her hands on her hips. He’s not my kid…I mean, yeah, I’m fond of Newt…but who knows what kind of ickyness this fella’ has on him. She shook her head, “No…no…I made a promise to protect him…and it’s just a kiss.” She turned to the little creature, “Dewly, is it?…alright Dewly…just one kiss…and no tongue…if you even have one.”
