James grinned, "Yep." he sat on the camping stool, and sighed, looking at the other. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a pair of dog tags. "Rest in peace, Matt." he said. Looking at them.
(Yeah, I just got back from vacation about a week ago, I don't know what happened... sweatdrop )

Chaos walked over to the other camping stool and sat down, giving him a concerned face, "Who's Matt? Did he like serve with you in the military before the infection hit?" He tilted his head and murred a bit.

James sighed again, "Matt was the closest thing to family I had..." he told him. "Before I knew the others, it was just me and him, but we were swarmed and he pushed me out of the way of something..." he stopped for a bit, "I look up and all I saw was him being dragged away by the zombies. He was screaming for help, but I couldn't do anything..." his voice choked, and he looked down. "That's when I noticed he left his tags in my hand." he looked at the dogtags one last time, "He died for me..." James put the dogtags back in his pocket and cleared his throat, "I guess we should get some rest." he said.

Chaos whimpered a bit, looking down, then looking up at him with a smile, "Yea, we should, and don't worry James, I'm here for you, and I'll keep you alive no matter what, even if it means sacrifice." His smile turned into a wide smile and he got up, reaching his arms out, wanting him to hug him.

James looked up, "Oh, no. You're not going to die on me." he said, standing up. He put his hands on his shoulders, "You won't die on me." he pulled him into a hug.

He smiled and let out a tear, "You're not going to die on me either. I'm glad I found you, if I wouldn't of found you, I probably would've killed myself, but you've inspired me, to keep on living, to keep you and other people alive. I can't promise that I won't die for sure, but I'll try not to die on you." He tightened the hug, murring and smiling.

James smiled, "Okay. I won't die, not after I've been this far." he said. He felt good, now that he had a true friend after so long.
He pulled away first, and yawned, "I'm going to lay down." he told him, he stepped into the tent and laid down on one of the cots.

Chaos nodded, giving him a smile, "I hope you don't mind if I lay with you." He chuckled and laid down on the other cot next to him, turning towards him and giving him a friendly smile.

Chaos yawned as he started to fall asleep, trying to keep himself awake, but failing, he fell asleep, murring and smiling.

"JAMES!" Vince said screaming as he ran down the halls, "JAMES! damn it where is he?" Vince was running from some zombies that were able to break through. He heard noises from his cell and went to see what it was only to find zombies, he went back for Rick but his path was blocked, now he was just trying to find help since he only has a pistol. "JAMES! ANYBODY!"

James frowned, and woke Chaos up, "I hear somethin', I gotta go check it out." he said.
He ran out the tent and slid down the ladder, and found the nearest entrance, he found the source and yelled, "Vincent, get over here!" he waved, he pulled out his pistols and started shooting around him.

He saw James up ahead but to his surprise, zombies were blocking the way. James could only stand his ground now. "JAMES! YOU AND ANYBODY ELSE STILL ALIVE NEED TO GET OUT IF HERE!" Vince was looking around trying to find an escape.

James cursed, "Dammit, Vince! I can't let you die!" he growled, and pulled out his last resort.
It was a pipe bomb, he lit it and tossed it toward the crowd of zombies blocking him and Vince.
It was a short fuse, so it exploded soon after, "Come on, Vince!"

Vincent covered himself with his arms when the explosion went off, then he started running toward James again then stopped, "JAMES HOW THE HELL DO I GET UP THERE!" he said while shooting around himself.
