"Good idea, Z-Seven." It was a good idea, even. A-One nodded to her. "Can't hurt." Well, yes, it could; getting to know your enemy might make you reluctant to do what was necessary. But for now, they needed to be allies; and Z-Four might be right yet. ********.
"A-One," he said, "and I like long walks on the beach and not being dead." They couldn't see his morbid, sarcastic grin under the mask, but he guessed that some of them might know anyway.
He nodded thoughtfully to Z-Four. "Inducing paranoia," he agreed. "But, assuming we were all told the same thing, we may yet need to fight in self-defense. Can you accept that?"
He turned his face to A-Nine. "I'd rather we all lived, if it's possible. That means someone's gotta protect everyone. Do you see what I'm getting at?"

Wait wait wait ... now they were sharing what they liked to do?? "What is this, a slumber party?" he muttered, wandering over back toward the group.
Fiver made his way closer to Three and gave Bossy a sort of sideways look. "Y'think he's crazy? Why tell anyone what we like to do? Does it matter? We should be GOING so we can find someone else to TAKE OUT."

((Z12))
Introductions were happening? Good. Calming down now. Z12 grabbed the shoulder of Z11 and dragged him along to stand by his orange comrads, namely Z8. Together. A small group that he knew. Something familiar. His anxious heart kept beating hard in his chest, but tried his hardest to keep his voice steady. "Z-12, here..." As if his armour didn't give that away. He stuck close to the seeming leader of Zeta Z8, and his buddy at his hip the ever present Z11.
Z12 leaned in toward Z8, with a worried murmer. "These guys seem really violent. Is this a good idea..?"

Oh, and 'lo, Five actually spoke some wisdom. Not even bothering to lean close to the man, he replied without ever tearing his eyes away from One and his speech. "No, but I daresay it's a tactic in which to make this new team we've acquired feel more comfortable. Since One has designated himself our leader, I suppose the responsibility rests on his shoulders. Mind, I too would rather be on the move, now that formalities are all but over with."
Formalities seemed such a waste of time in this situation, best to designated them 'Possible Survivor', 'Might Live', and 'Doomed from the Start' as Three mentally did.

Upon obtaining orders Z5 felt much more at ease that he could be doing something useful. Even if that thing was babysitting one of his own team. He saluted again, "Yes sir-Ma'am!" He half shouted to Zeta Eight trying to sound as much like a real shoulder as he could.
As promptly as possible he turned around and located Zeta Seven. Oh, the shouter. That made a lot of sense. Swallowing his nerves, the stocky male made a beeline for his teammate. "Uh...." He started unsure, "I am Zeta Five and I am here to keep an eye on you. We're not supposed to fight with the Alpha team." He said it all in one authoritative rush, holding his head high.

... Right the guy that was yelling and stomping about like a tin soldier was now gonna be called Uptight (Z5). Cause he obviously had a stick up his a** and was waaaay too eager to please. Pointing him out to Three, he made a motion that was quite suggestive of said stick up a**.
"But if we're supposed to really do this slumber party thing, name's Fiver. Well, Alpha Five, but that's boring." He shrugged and nodded slightly.

"... Zeta Eight."
There was no particular greeting towards any of the others, nor did he even seem inclined to give the red suits much attention, but Z3 was prompt to speak when spoken to, and even seemed to... incline his head slightly towards the female Eight, in some subtle gesture of greeting.
For as reckless as they'd been, from the look of things, it seemed like no one had been wounded (short of pride, maybe), which was... positive enough. Further still--
"I'm assuming we have some fresh alliance forged with this group," he noted, looking back to her for a moment as if asking for the affirmation.
But that wasn't especially long lived, since he'd gone back to surveying the rest of the landscape-- and maybe the suits it included. Now, if only he could pinpoint which one was the loud-voiced leader...

Potential trouble, that. "No, we're not," A-One answered Z-Five. "But we can hold off on conflict until we have no choice." He stared hard at the other guy, hoping to squash the voice of dissent before anyone else could be convinced.

"Z 7, I like punching things, big whoop, wanna fight about it?" He was still pretty wary of these redcoats.
see, I was being nice and didn't call them walking period samples, I get brownie points right?
He was ready to rip A5 another hole with words when Z 8 decided to partner him up with Z5, didn't see him before, but he didn't want him caught in any fight that A 5 and himself would get into. "But, superior..... ugh.... fine." He slumped his shoulders and sighed, understanding what she was trying to do. "I understand Z 5, its nice it meet you."
It took a lot of effort,
A LOT. But he went up to A 5 Listen, you don't like me, and I sure as hell don't like you, but I'm not going to let Z 5 get caught up in our animosity, issat fair?"

A11 could feel the tension in the air. Any alliances they had seemed to be shaky. She sighed quietly. Thirteen survivors. If they stuck together, it was possible they could make it.
She heard A9 answer her question. A11 would have smiled to be polite and show thanks, but it would not have made a differe3nce with the mask. "Well, that's good."
"I agree with A1. Protecting each other is our best chance to increase our...survival." As the moments passed by, she found she herself being thankful for the fact that she couldn't remember anything thing before. This was going to be hard enough as it was. She still tried not to think about the weapons everyone had.

Z4 sagged, listening quietly as everyone discussed their next move and better equanted with their new comrads... but it seemed no matter how many times he repeated himself he was ignored. It was an important point, he felt, that everyone seemed intent on dismissing. What was the point in planning the best way to kill the enemy when you might not HAVE to? They had not, in their travels, found any superiors to deny or confirm the mysterious messages since that odd classroom. How did he know the classroom itself hadn't been a dream? He certainly didn't remember signing up for anything... nor could he remember ANYTHING. Everyone else seemed intent on riding everything out, but the whole situation did not sit well with him.
At the sound of Alpha1's acknowledgment of his hypothesis, he brightened up again, desperately clinging to the notion, "Self defense, yes, but until ANYTHING is confirmed, I don't see why we might need to harm anyone! Surely someone remembers something? Anything?" No one had confirmed or denied that fact, and without facts, it was difficult to piece the puzzle together.
He shifted beside Zeta 8, who everyone seemed to be looking for for Orange representation. With a sigh, he shook his head, practically grumbling under his breath although it didn't seem to matter his volume when fists and weapons and loud voices were being thrown around.
"Or we could all just do what they expect us to do and kill everyone we find like animals. That's fine too, I suppose."

.... Fiver stared at a*****e. "I don't give a s**t about Uptight there. You're the one that called me a walking tampon and threatened to rip my arm off or whatever," he muttered - fighting not to just ... smash the guy's face in with his mace.
"If we're not fighting now, fine. But there'll come a time when we've kicked everybody else's a** and THEN .... " He smirked.

((Z12))
Z12 cast a look at poor Z4. The man had been trying so hard. He grimaced, patting his back as well. "That ain't what I want any more than you want it to come to that." He assured his teammate, keeping his shaking to a minimum. He didn't like any of this. It felt wrong. He wasn't a murderer out for blood. He didn't know who he was, but that couldn't be it. He took a shaky breath, looking over the other team with worry. A lot of them seemed thirsty for violence. Action.
"I don't... remember anything..." He said forlornly. "I feel like I should, and I feel like I know what I'm not, but..."

Z5's puffed up chest seemed to deflate as the target of his conversation strode off to go try and make a true with the Alpha. Well, that wasn't going as planned. ".... Up... tight?" He asked more to himself then Fiver. "Don't call me that! I am not uptight! I'm just trying to do what I was told! And you guys shouldn't talk until you can talk like adults! We're here for a reason! So, you should... at least listen to orders and TRY to get along." He felt like he sounded desperate and edged away from the two of them. "Ah...Zeta Seven!" He ordered, "Return here. You are to stay with me until further notice from Zeta Eight!"

"Yeah yeah yeah, flap your gums kitten" Z 7 said with a wave of his hand in a nonchalant tone. "Just try to stay alive long enough to eat yer own words, alright?" He decided to keep his frame between the kitten and Z 5, just in case he got sneaky and took out his rage on him.
No no, not on my watch. I've got no problem with you watchin' my back Z 5, just make sure you don't get reckless, leave that stuff t'me." He said as he patted his shoulder, Leader 8 may have sent five to watch him, but he knew what the leader was really doing.
