  [Neonkit let out a small squeak of surprise when she felt a paw prod her side. Who was poking her, and why. Why would they do such a thing? Opening her bright green eyes, her gaze landed on her sister, who was busy poking and prodding Neonkit on the tail.] "Sister!" [Neonkit squeaked and pounced forward, tackling Halokit to the ground. She would pay for poking her. Though, now that she was awake, she felt energy fly through her. Another day of fun for her mother. Neonkit let a giggle pour out as she playfully nibbled on her sister's ear.] [Pausing and lifting her head for a moment, she saw why Halokit had resorted to poking her. Skywisker wasn't there. Where was she?] "MOMMA!" [Neonkit yowled, beginning to get a little frightened. Why was she gone. What happened? Wasn't the mother supposed to stay with her kits? Neonkit opened her mouth and yowled again.] "MOMMAAA!!"

[Halokit giggled when Neonkit squeaked. Poking things was fun! But, she only squeaked once, so the young kit turned to her sister's tail and busied herself poking the tail instead.]
[Halokit looked up with glee as she heard her sister wake up. Though, she was not prepared for what happened next. It was her turn, she let out a startled squeak of surprise as she was tackled, but she returned and gently kicked her sister in the stomach. Halokit growled playfully as Neonkit's giggle reached her ears. No! Wait, was, did Neonkit stop? Whatever the cause, she took advantage of this lapse in attention and tackled her sister. Only to find out that she wasn't fighting back. So, Halokit sat down and waited. The young kit jumped about a paw length off the ground when her sister yowled. Halokit jumped back to her paws and scrambled to a place beside her sister. Settling down and trying to curl her tail around Neonkit, she began to lick her sister on the ear and head.] "Is okay sister. Momma'll come back" [Halokit whispered and pressed her fur against Neonkit in hope's to comfort her sister.]

What if she was hurt? Maybe some apprentice was too rough in playing with her, or something happened to Halokit or Brisk-kit. Or maybe... My thoughts stopped right there, I had caught sight of Amberpaw. I narrowed my eyes suspiciously. Had she done something? Why was she here again? Did she just wait until I was out of the nursery to come and pester my kits?! I sighed and padded to where Halokit was trying to comfort Neonkit. Settling down in my nest again, I pulled the two she-kit's close to me and whispered.] "It's okay. Momma's here now" [I lowered my head to my paws and let a rumbling and comforting purr erupt from me.] "Don't worry my kits. I'll always come back" [I assured them and gave Neonkit a lick on the head. I lifted my head and looked at Brisk-kit.] "Hey! Brisk-kit! You have beautiful eyes" [I purred, his eyes had finally opened. Then, my eyes went to the squirrel at Amberpaw's feet. Had she brought that for me? I shook my head, not possible. The last time I had spoken with her, she stalked off, angry. Amberpaw looked down at the little kit, and back at Skywisker.]"I got that squirrel for you! And guess what the first thing Briskkit saw was.? ME! ME, ME, ME! HE SAW ME!"[She said, jumping around. Briskkit eyed the apprentice.]"Why is she so happy about being the first thing I saw. Tell me, I demand you."

[After a few yowls, Neonkit resorted to whimpering since she felt her mother couldn't hear the yowls anyway. She looked at her sister and blinked absently. Though the presence of her sister was comforting. Neonkit lifted her head when she tasted the scent of her mother enter the nursery. Had she actually heard the yowls? The young kit nodded and allowed herself to be pulled close to Skywisker.] "Momma, you heard me?" [She mewed in disbelief. Neonkit sighed and let the comforting purr finally sooth her nerves. I'll always come back. Those words stuck to the young little kit. Neonkit nodded and purred, leaning into her mother's flank.] [Neonkit followed Halokit's lead and padded to Skywisker's face. Reaching her paw up, she to pawed Skywisker's cheek softly.] "Me too. And brother. We love you momma." [Neonkit mewed and lay down by her mother's paws beside Halokit.]

[Briskkit glared darkly at his family, and Amberpaw. Why were they so happy? What was there to be happy about? Looking up at the apprentice, he let out a deep growl.]"You say my mom ain't no fun? HOW. DARE. YOU."[He screeched, swinging his sheathed paws at the apprentice.]"SAY YOU'RE SORRY. NOW!"[Amberpaw's eyes began watering. It- she only said that out of anger. Now she was really paying for it.]"B-but that w-was only wh-when I was a-angry, Briskkit!"[She said, feeling a tickle on her paw. Briskkit was nipping her leg.]"I-I'm sorry, Skywisker! I only said you ain't no fun when I was angry! Please forgive me!"[Hearing her pleas for forgiveness, Briskkit let go the paw and padded over to his mom.]"I have injured the traitor for you, mother. Don't expect that too much. I don't love you all that much.."[He said. Amberpaw perked up and giggled.]"Actually, your nipping tickled me."[Briskkit growled, and plopped down next to his sisters, pushing them both aside to make room for himself.]

[Whisperblade's ear twitched slightly as Thunderflight got up and left to go do her deputy duties. He smiled faintly, letting her believe he was still asleep as she left. Stretching his legs out and letting out silent yawn. He gazed down upon his newborn kittens all peacefully rolled up against his side. He smiled purring to himself as he lay his head next to them. His mind and heart was a flutter feeling blessed to have such a wonderful life compared to what it once was.] I hope i never have to live a day without them again... [The silent warrior looked up from his own litter at the sound of the other queens attending to their own kittens. He smiled hearing Skywisker's voice. She was such a sweet and kind she cat. She was one of the first to accept him as a stormclan warrior and was a good friend to his beloved Thunderflight, for this he was thankful to her.] "Good morning Skywhisker." [He spoke in a soft whisper not wanting to wake the slumbering kittens at his side.]

I swallowed nervously, shooing the thought away. Nevermind that. Just nevermind.
I approached my family slowly, absorbing the fullness of their reality. Sniffing over my kittens, I felt warmth flow into my heart, and I knew then that I regretted nothing. I looked up into Whisperblade eyes, and I knew I regretted nothing.
But the same question remained.
I purred at him, nodding in thanks for watching the kittens in my leave. I began to groom them affectionately, my rough tongue washing over them.
My angels... I thought, trying to remain within my bliss and not let that ice-hot thought come pricking at my mind...]

[Upon hearing my little Neonkit's question, I couldn't help but let out a chuckle. Turning to her, ] "Don't worry Neonkit. I lvoe your dadddy. I'm just having a friendly conversation with Whisperblade here. He's the father of those kits over there you know" [I explained softly, gazing lovingly at my kits.]
[I looked up as Thunderflight returned from a patrol. I couldn't help thinking how lucky she was. I would be so happy to get out, I would even do a border patrol. Now that would be something. I curled my tail around my kits and nodded] "How was the patrol?" [I asked her] "Did Dawnsky behave?" [I added with amusement as I caught a small whiff of my sisters scent outside the nursery. Besides, the only reason she would be up that early would be a patrol of some sort, and Burrpelt mentioned nothing of taking my sister along on his hunting patrol. You'd really think Skywisker would be cheating on father? This tom has kits, are you blind too? Geez, why am I related to you.."[He said, running up to Neonkit and pushing her down. If she pushed, she was bound to be pushed back. No one would ever get the last laugh on his terms. Approaching Whisperblade, he sighed, and stood by his mother.]"I apologize for my idiot sisters. They were dropped on their heads at birth and now I must be the responsible one here.. Hey mother, where's father?"
