BON JOVI’s NEW ALBUM, LOST HIGHWAY, SET FOR JUNE 19th RELEASE (Monday, March 19, 2007) BON JOVI’s NEW ALBUM, LOST HIGHWAY, SET FOR JUNE 19th RELEASE SOULFUL FIRST SINGLE, “(YOU WANT TO) MAKE A MEMORY,” GOES TO RADIO ON MARCH 20th
Follows-up multi-platinum album Have A Nice Day – featuring Grammy and People’s Choice Award-winning #1 single “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”
(March 19, 2007 – New York, NY) Flush with the success of their record-breaking world tour and multi-platinum album Have A Nice Day – Island Records group Bon Jovi has completed a new album, LOST HIGHWAY.
Produced by Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts) and John Shanks (who co-produced Have A Nice Day, and whose credits include Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Chris Isaak and others) LOST HIGHWAY will arrive in stores June 19th on Island Records/Mercury Nashville. “(You Want To) Make A Memory,” the first single from the new album, will be blasted out to radio on Tuesday, March 20th.
Bon Jovi is scheduled for live performances of “(You Want To) Make A Memory” on the upcoming 6th annual CMT Awards broadcast (April 16th live from Nashville); on Fox’s “American Idol” (May 2nd); and on NBC’s “Today Show” Outdoor Plaza (June 19th). Meanwhile, Bon Jovi-watchers have already discovered the album’s title song, “Lost Highway” in the new box office smash film, Wild Hogs. Another album track, “We Got It Going On,” a duet with Big & Rich, is the theme song for the new Arena Football League season on ESPN.
Bon Jovi has sold over 100 million albums around the world and performed more than 2,500 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 32 million people.
Gotta say, not excited for the country turn. And performing on American Idol? Wow....never would've seen that coming!

One of the songs on there, I Love This Town, sounds Hawaiian to me. Hate to say it, but I hate that song.

http://www.crushmagazine.es/Lost Highway - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li_mWU5jw6QMake A Memory and Holding On - http://personales.ya.com/crushmagazine/videos/lost.wmvAnd you can listen to all of Make A Memory at www.bonjovi.com I Love This Town I think sounds country. I hate the song. I have a minute and a half clip of it, and I just can't get through the whole thing. Make A Memory is okay. It's kind of boring, but it has potential to be a really great song....they just should've made it better. It's boring. Summertime I'm on the fence about. Parts of it are catchy. I think it'll grow on me. We've Got It Going On I hate the background noise in. It sounds like they recorded it in the middle of a bar fight, and it does not add to the song at all. Take that out, and it could be a good song. Any Other Day I'm really liking. Sounds like a good song. Lost Highway I'm not really in to. Sort of on the fence about it. Holding On I'm on the fence about too. I think I'm leaning more towards the not liking side though. Man, this sucks. I've been a fan for four years. When everyone else has been saying "I don't like Have A Nice Day", I've been liking it. Now, I'm not excited for this album, and there's songs I hate on it. Not cool.

I actualy don't mind Make A Memory that much listening to it over again.. I like how it builds up. I still really don't like I Love This Town I like Lost Highway. Any Other Day is the best one I've heard so far. I LOVE Richie's vocals in We've Got It Goin' On. And the little Vince Neil-y screaminy thing he does... (hard to explain xD) I haven't heard Holding On Yet. Summertime is iffy... but I'm all for the Richie vocals.

Make A Memory could be so much better, and I think that's what bugs me about it. It's got the Bon Jovi potential, but I really don't like the beginning, I think it's boring, and it's the beginning that people hear first, and most times make an impression on.

Beautiful Sin We've Got It Going On I hate the background noise in. It sounds like they recorded it in the middle of a bar fight, and it does not add to the song at all. Take that out, and it could be a good song. It's not going to be in the actual song. They just had it in it because it is the new theme song for ESPN AFL. That's why the soudn was in there. Not the actual recording.
