Ginelle smiled, and said "Actually, practicing quidditch would make me feel better... Do you want to come watch?" She hadn't thought about quidditch in a while, but now she felt guilty for not thinking about it. At that moment, she saw two paper flowers. Both were rather large, but they were very pretty. They came floating towards the two girls. One landed right in front of Ginelle, and she picked it up,unfolded it, only to read what the professor had said. It did actually make her feel better. She was new to the subject, and she did want the teacher to like her, not to pity her. But, right then and there, she didn't feel like talking to the teacher. She wanted to get her brain off of things, and quidditch was a really good thing to do that with.

Amelia brightened, "Want to? I'd love to!" Taking her arm, she started walking, "Aren't you a first year? I thought only the flying lessons were available to first years." Bringing her hand up to her chin she pondered for a second before letting it go. "Do you need anything from your dorm?" It was an innocent question: she had no desire to sneak into other common rooms; especially if they tested their bravery. The possible tests crossed her mind, making her shake her head. No, she just didn't know where the Quidditch stuff was kept.

Ginelle smiled, and then sighed. "Well, if I had my own broom, I would have to, but, since I don't have one, I have to use a school broom, which I usually keep with all of our teams quidditch stuff. Ginelle very badly wanted her own broom. She needed one if she was every actually going to play against the Slytherpuff team. But, the school broom would have to do for now. Ginelle smiled again and said "I got on the quidditch team because I met the team captain in a class, and she assessed me for a few days. I practiced really hard, and I got the hand of flying really fast. So, since she needed a new Chaser, she put me on the team. It was actually really exciting. Come on, I'll show you what I do." Ginelle grabbed Amelia's arm and pulled her towards the direction of the quidditch pitch.

Amelia nodded knowingly, "Yeah, from what I can tell brooms seem to be expensive. Don't worry, maybe the team can pitch in and buy you a broom for your birthday or something." She was willing to hint to the team about it. "You must be incredible to get on as a first year. You're really lucky" There was no envy in her voice, merely excitement for her new friend. She allowed herself to be pulled by Ginelle to the field, her own excitement building off her new friend's.

Annette looked around, realizing the lack of participation was due to her lack of lessons. She rattled in her brain, and then she said: "Students, we are going to start a new assignment coming up in a few days. We will be doing a lesosn on Color change. Just be prepared. There will be a due-date on the assignment, and failure to complete the assignment will result in a zero, and either a detention or a loss of house points. Please do not make me do this." She felt bad, but she didn't want to stall the class much longer. Hopefully, this would get the students into motion.

((Aw. I wanted Amelia to suggest learning how to transfigure notes into things, like the paper flowers you did. Can we do that next?))

(Oh! Yeah, sure! That's really easy. Then we can learn the mailing spell too, so you can send them away. =] I hope some other people start posting more...) •○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○••○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•

((No problem! ^^))
Annette was standing in her classroom, just waiting for more students to come on in. She was ready to start a new lesson today, and she was ready to end the old assignments, even if that meant handing out zeros. She was ready to start with a basic spell for the class, and work her way through the different Transfiguration spells. •○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○••○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•

Amelia Frances
Amelia reached class first, a smile on her face and a good breakfast in her belly. Since Ginelle was fine with the past class's 'incident' so was she. Overall, she wouldn't have gotten mad without Ginny's influence. Either way, today was a new one, and she was sure to make it a good one. Walking in, she nodded to the teacher, her smile unwavering, and took a seat in the front row. "We're learning to transfigure paper, like those notes you sent us, right?" she double checked, mostly because she didn't like silence and wanted to talk about something.

Professor Annette Soul-Heart The Transfiguration Teacher •○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○••○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•○•
Annette felt guilty. She did tell Amelia that they would learn to transfigure paper, but she had told the people in the great hall that they would learn color-changing first. She took a seat, and said "Actually, we are going to learn the color-changing spell first, then, once that is complete, we will move on to transfiguring paper." She smiled to Amelia, hoping that she wasn't disappointed. "This way, then you make the notes, you can change the color of the paper to what ever color you want to turn them into."
Annette stood up, and she walked into her back supply room. She waved her wand at her old toys, and had them come out into the classroom. Then, she waved it again, and a large crib (The one she herself used to sleep in) came out into the classroom. It was filled with blankets, small pillows, and a charmed spinning array of stars that would play a song everytime you said a certain spell. She smiled at the memories, and she waved her wand again. Out of the room came a bucket, and a sponge. Also, a bottle of soap came out too. "Just incase Kenneth needs this for the kids... I didn't even ask if he had a crib yet. Aludra is her name, yes?" She pointed her wand at the bucket and said "Aguamenti" The bucket filled with water. Again, she waved her wand. The blankets started to come out, the bedding, and everything else came out in a pile on the ground. Then, again, she waved her wand once more, and she sponge and bucket of water were to work cleaning the crib.

Amelia nodded slowly, her smile draining for a moment before she forced it back up. She'd been practicing transfiguring paper: it was how she managed to make Aludra's mobile. Each animal was paper, that moved on its own, fire coming in and out of their mouths. She'd had to hand paint the creatures however, since she didn't know how to change the color. Which pretty much meant she'd learn more in this class than from learning to transfigure paper. This thought brightened her spirits.
She jumped when the crib came rolling into the room. The thing itself looked adorable, but as the sponge and water appeared, Amelia was confused. Not wanting to sound mean, she asked in a soft voice, double checking no one else was in the room, "Isn't there a spell for cleaning?" She had no clue what it was, only that the second years had be practicing it earlier in the week. "Or is that it?" She'd gotten the feeling that they just used their wand, but making the sponge move on its own seemed equally efficient.

Annette glanced over to Amelia. "Well, there are many spells you can use to clean objects. But, I figured I would use this way. When they get it, the crib will smell like Eucalyptus, which is a soothing plant for muggles. Actually, it was very soothing to me as well, so hopefully, when the babies smell the crib, it will soothe them to sleep, giving Aludra and Kenneth more time to do whatever they need to do when the kids are in the crib. My mother used this trick for a long time, and it semmed to work, or so she told me." Annette smelled the soap from the bucket, and she smiled. It was a very soothing smell to her, at the least. It made her a bit sleepy too, but that wasn't a bad thing. She waved her wand again, and the bucket and the sponge stopped moving. The crib was clean, and now she just needed to dry it. She muttered a spell under her breath, and the crib dried very quickly. Then, she waved her wand once more, and the blankets and pillows and the stuffed animals returned themself into the crib. "Well, I can probably infuse the stars with eucalyptus too."

Amelia Frances
Being muggleborn herself, she'd smelled Eucalyptus plenty of times before. Personally she was more of a lavender lover, since it reminded her of her grandmother, but hopefully the babies would prefer Eucalyptus. She nodded in understanding, and watched her put the stuff away before asking, "You're casting spells silently, aren't you? Can you cast without your wand too?" She suddenly decided she was going to learn the cushioning charm silently. It would work perfectly.

⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - 2nd year Nathaniel glanced where his first animation stood. Too timid to ask if he could keep the Link doll, he already moved on to the next lesson. He was late, missing the last lesson assignment. Writing about transfiguration. His only knowledge of it was its power to transform and mold things into another. That was it. Crossing his fingers that he wouldn't get too punished, he awaited the next lesson.
