Vanya smiled back, his ears perking up a little. "Yeah. It'd be nice." He stood, watching her go. 'Stay safe...' He thought, raising his gaze to the sky and closing his eyes.
Raiden sat back in his chair, chuckling. "I did indeed. And I have an idea about what to do about it." He looked at Sarah, tilting his head. "Did you find him?"
Lucian turned off the crystal, noting that Usagi was on her way back, and slipped out, leaving Sarah to talk with Raiden.

In the form of: "If I found him, would I be standing here, now?" Sarah asked. Her voice was sharp for bitterness, at herself, at Usagi. If she had been doing what she was supposed to, she would have been able to just continue her search for him. Maybe he wouldn't be hiding like he was. And her patience would have been longer. "Sorry." Sarah shook her head, her eyes still sharp and angry, though. "It's just like he dissapeared off of the face of the Earth." Sarah unfolded her arms and stuck her hands in her pockets, instead. "So I'm assuming there's a plan for our pest problem?" Sarah Mae Beverly

Raiden nodded thoughtfully. "I'm not surprised you were unable to find him. Now, as for Usagi... the brat has no problems with darkness, so we can't stick her in the ubliets, and thrashings seem to have no affect on her anymore. I don't want to permenantly damage her, nor do I want her killed just yet, she is one of my best hunters. I had thought that if she did try to run, we could let her, allow her enough time to by happy and carefree, then take it all at once and bring her back, to crush her spirit more... but she seems to be returning here for her punishment and I find myself at a loss as to what to do to the girl that we haven't done yet. Any ideas from your end, Sarah?"

In the form of: Sarah yawned and leaned against the wall, herh ands behind her head. "I dunno. hang her upside down from a brudge or something?" She joked with a smirk. Then her lips pursed as she really thought, her eyes looking up at the ceiling. "If you're looking to crush her spirits..." Sarah said slowly, then stopped, shaking her head. She closed her eyes. "There's so much limit to people who can't see. It's aggrivating." Sarah murmered. Finally she opened her eyes and looked over at him. "You could give her nothing to run to. Let her go, let her leave. But bring ruin on everyone she gets friendly with." Sarah shrugged idoly. All of her ideas were based on if she did something. There was none that was as simple and plain as beating, or locking them in a freezer. Sarah chuckled to herself. She'd love to lock someone in a freezer. But then she got back down to thinking again. Sarrah got another idea. "Or. Don't punish her. Let her continue waiting for it, making her nervous, jumpy. Make her wish you were punishing her, instead of just letting her live with nothing happening to her." Sarah closed her eyes. "You could make her go crazy, just waiting for something to happen." Raiden smiled and laughed this time, the sound cold and icy, echoing around the dark room. "And this is why you're my favorite." He smirked. "A most wonderful idea my dear, I must thank you." He thought a moment, then smiled again. "You may do as you wish for now. Anything you want, and I'll call for you if I need you."

Usagi walked defiantly into the room, and crossed the floor over to lucian. She hadn't heard a word of what they said so she was clueless as to what was going to happen. "As you can see i didn't do as I was told. I'm tired of working for you lucian. Either you can tourture me with as much pain as you please or you can let me go. Either way I am not going to work for you anymore" she announced.

Lucian snorted and leaned back in his chair, eyes glued to a thick grimoire, ignoring her.
Raiden gave Usagi a bored look and gestured one of the Lycans over, taking the tray it was holding and dismissing it in the same move. After taking a sip of the deep red wine, he answered her. "Go to your rooms Usagi, I have no need of your skills this night."

Usagi barely was able to contain how surprised she was. He wasn't going to punish her at all? Why, that was unlike him. Surly he knew she had failed. She didn't argue, not a word. if it was a trickery game he wanted it was one he would get. She didn't have to respond. "Sir" she mutterd and walke dout.

In the form of: "You flatter me. I'm merely doing what I do best." Sarah said simply. She was going to say more, but stopped as Usagi came in. She wasn't planning on letting the elf know she was there. So she moved silently out of the room and into the hallways. "I need someone to rip to pieces. But instead, I'm left to wondering around hallways. Ahh, the sadness of it all." Sarah decided to sit on the lawn. So she found a door and made her way out onto the lawn, stretching in the sunlight. "Hmm." Sarah put her hands on her hips. She was easily bored, she wished she had been able to find that guy instead of doing nothing. It was quite irritating. Sarah Mae Beverly

Raiden chuckled as soon as Usagi had left the room, taking a bite of the meal set in front of him. After a few minutes of silence, he gestured for Lucian, muttering something in the man's ear.
Lucian nodded, leaving the room and heading down the hall. A few minutes later he was heading outside, a tall wood elf next to him. The elf was thin, and seemed hopeful about something. Stepping outside, Lucian looked around, spotting Sarah and making his way towards her, the elf in tow.
"A gift for you, from Lord Raiden." The sorcerer stated simply, shoving the elf forward. "He says to enjoy yourself." The man then turned, walking back into the fortress, leaving the elf standing there, too busy staring around at the trees and grass to notice anything else.

In the form of: Sarah frowned, looking over the man. "Stay." She todl him, as if he were a dog or something. she wasn't sure quite how to interact with innocent people. Everyone she dealt with was a liar, traiter, or worse. She ran after Lucian, grabbing his arm in a strong, fierce hold. "Hey!" She growled, hoping he would turn to face her. "What's the big idea?" She asked sharply. She released him, putting her hands on her hips. "He never did anything wrong. Heck, he's just standing there, looking at the trees! What the." Sarah stopped herself before she said something she would regret. She shook her head, hoping he didn't read into her words too much. She hated being so... weak willed. but she just couldn't kill and innocent man. "I look for fights. Not for slaughters." Sarah Mae Beverly

Lucian smirked. "Once the drugs wear off he will get fiesty enough. We had some trouble keeping him here in the beginning, until I figured out the right mixture to get him like that most of the time. It should wear off in about twenty minutes and then he will try to get out." He chuckled, tossing her a small elven looking knife. "If you want some fun, set this near him and wait."
He turned, shrugging off her hand, then paused. "As for him being innocent, he took down three of our best sorcerers and fifteen Lycans before I could bind him. Lord Raiden has no use for him, now that we have all the information we needed from him."

Usagi made it to her room and sat on her bed sighing. She knew better than to leave now. She only wished she understood what was going on. Surl he simply wasn't going to let her get off so easily. That was most likely far from his plan. She found her thoughts wandering about vanya and she wandered if she should have left him like that.

Back in Desarg, Vanya stretched, arms above his head as he tested the limits of the newly healed wounds on his side. They twinged a little if he got too high, or moved too fast, but he figured that he could deal with it until they healed completely. After a moment he turned, pondering about whether to find a place in town, or just make his way south. He thoughts turned to Usagi after a few minutes and he frowned, hoping she wasn't too severely punished.

Usagi just finally got up and said "forget it, I'm being a rebel already I'll leave if I want to. If raiden and the others need me i'll be found easily i'm sure" Just then she walked out of her room and down the hall to leave. It didn't matter if she was seen or not. She wanted out of here while she had a chance, and she wasn't comfortable with leaving Vanya like that withought much more explanation. She wasn't sure what it was about him...
