Professor Kenneth Reynolds

Kenneth's heart was in his throat while he waited for Aludra to answer his question. He didn't have to wait very long as she stared to cry then finally answered that she would marry him. He pulled the ring from the box and then slipped it onto her ring finger. He was just about to keep up and hug Aludra when she came flying off the chair and knelt in front of him wrapping her arms around his neck and buried her face into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her back and pulled her as close as he could get given that her ever growing belly would make this harder and harder to do. He put all the emotion he was feeling at the moment into this hug and said "I love you too Aludra."
After a few moments Kenneth managed to get Aludra back to her feet and back into the chair, he grabbed the chair nearby and swung it around so he could sit facing Aludra and said "The past very days have been quite exciting haven't they? Only yesterday we learned that instead of one child where are having two, and today I expressed my undying devotion to you."

Aludra Yvette... Aludra mearly nodded and dried her eyes with the bow in the front of her dress. It was already such a dark pink, her running makeup didnt make a different if it showed on it. She had left her wand tucked safely in her trunk since she had no way to carry it tonight. "Its all been so much, its overwhelming." she said softly, her voice watery from her crying. This had to be the most eventful week of her live. Twins and an engagement. At least her father would be ok with this, her mother she was so sure of, but it would all work out. "I cant believe this. We're going to be married." Aludra smiled and set her hands in her lap, unconciously running them over her stomach as she did. ...7th Year Slytherin

 Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto stopped dead in her tracks, mouth agape, on her way to greet her friends (silently of course). Aludra was pregnant. The tall woman felt her cheeks become warm. Not just pregnant. She was having twins! Twins! Twins! Silver eyes widened to the size of saucers as she stared at her two friends. She couldn't find words -- and even if she had words she wouldn't be able to speak them. She desperately hoped one of them had some knowledge of Elven customs and understand her silence. Though, they were busy with their own exchange they wouldn't have seen Callysto give Lillian the stone. Merlin's pants and beard. Twins! And she couldn't properly give her congratulations! Twins! Callysto stumbled forward and nearly ran into the circular table the couple sat at. Twins!

Desperate for a distraction, Antoinette elbowed Alex in the ribs. "Let's dance." She suggested coolly. When she got no response, she looked over at Alex. She seemed to be in a deep and unbreakable reverie. "Fine." She grumbled, stalking onto the dancefloor. She then proceeded to do The Creep.

Kenneth noticed that Aludra makeup had started to run from the crying that she had been doing "Here sweetie let me fix that for you." he said pulling his wand free. He gave it a wave and the make vanished off her dress and slowly reappeared on her face as if she had just put it on. Once her makeup was put right he picked up his chair and placed it beside Aludra so he could snake his arm around her shoulder and said, "I know its going to be great, its just so much to plan for, the wedding, the bach parties, and the baby shower. Hopefully your parents will take our pregnancy a little better knowing that I also plan to marry you."

Aludra Yvette... "I'm more then sure my dad will be ok. That was one of his worst fears, me pregnant with no proper father for the baby. My mother on the other hand, she didnt want me pregnant at all. She said wait until I had a career and a social standing before I went and started a family. But I guess sometimes you have no choice in the matter." Aludra leaned her head against Kenneths shoulder and breathed deeply, rubbing her pregnant stomach as she did. Suddenly, Callysto came to their table, rather scaring looking as a matter of fact. "Hello Callysto, how are you? Well I hope." ...7th Year Slytherin

Ayamae shook her head, cradling the bottle of vodka in her arms like a small child. "Noooooo~ no waters. 'M Fine I toldjer! Finnneee~!!!!!!!! I'm invinstabible!!!" She took another long swig of vodka. She started to cry. "I'm alown on varentine's day and yer gonner take my booze..." She broke down and sobbed into the side of the bottle.

"If anything I'm glad to have your dad on our side, you know my feels regarding your mother. It doesn't matter though I promise that the three of you will be well taken care of, being a Professor and Auror has its perks." Kenneth said as he watched Aludra slowly rub her pregnant belly. He looked up when he heard Aludra saying hello to Callysto. Speaking of Callysto she had a strange look on her face. Once of complete shock and surprise, "Had she overheard them talking about the twins?" he thought to himself. "Hey I have and idea how about we go get some fresh air out on the grounds, Callysto how about you join us that way we can finish our little chat outside I have an idea on why your so surprised." Kenneth removed his arm from around Aludra's shoulder and then stood up offering his hand to her, once she had taken hold they both headed for the ground hoping that Callysto would follow them out.
[[ I needs to sleep, that' why I moved us to the Grounds since this is only open for a short time tomorrow and I'll be in class so I wont be able to post before Sing moves it into old threads sub. ]]

Aludra Yvette... Aludra rolled her eyes at Kenneth comment about her mother. She knew exactly how he felt, be reguardless if she was an unsually cruel woman, she was her mother and Aludra did have a certain amount of repect for her. "I know shes a bit difficult, but she had my best interests at heart. And I have no doubt you'll be a marvalous provider for our family." she said, leaning over to give him a light kiss on the lips.
She listened and wait then stood up with Kenneth with the help of his hand. Her feet seemed to ache underneather her, she must have been more tired then she thought. But she didnt show that her feet went like a horse had stepped on them, she just smile and hoped that Callysto would follow them out to the lovely grounds for a chat and some air. "The grounds sounds very lovely, please come join us Callysto." On their way out she was delighted to see that her friend was following thought she didnt seem to be saying much... ...7th Year Slytherin

Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year Eriena cringed as Professor Ayamae burst into tears. She had no idea how to handle a crying teacher. That wasn't in the curriculum, for crying out loud!
"Aw geez, Professor! Don't be so down!" she gently patted her arm as she spoke, "I'm sure there are plenty of men out there who'd love a... a vivacious woman like yourself! Maybe you should look beyond Hogwarts! There's a whole wide world of men outside this school!"
This was pretty weird, giving love consolation to a teacher. But Eriena figured that her prof needed a sympathetic ear right now, and since most of the staff were busy congratulating Professor Reynolds and Aludra on their upcoming nuptials/children, she figured she should stay.
