Medeus Kuzodav Allegro Supersephiroth7 I have a question for you Allegro. even if we go your route of no vote.. nothing guarantees that something will surface tomorrow. And there's no guarantees that you'll hit a mafia on day one. If you hit a townie, you could still be without a clue, but down 2. You could clue anyone who voted. Which makes the non-voters suspicious. You know that Bandwagoning is never a good idea right? You are aware that it would probably be in the mafia's best interest to vote no lynch if everyone else did? Sure they don't get a free kill during the day, but they get one at night. We're going to start off tomorrow with one less person and no leads. Oh wait we have a cop don't we?

I'm split between Kuzo and Allegro's logic. They're both right in some degrees.
Either one could be mafia, both of them could be, or they could both be townies.

The Day 1 no-vote is generally regarded as the safest, most successful way for the town to win. It's certainly possible to win by lynching on Day 1, but it's like reaching into a bag of oranges, but most of them are primed grenades. Choose the wrong thing (voting a townie) and you lose an arm.
