Aksaja blinked as the world quite suddenly shifted and changed. What . . . the hell just happened? Oh Jack that hadn't been fun at all. And now there were . . . boxes. Moving around in front of them. Not to mention the damn pendant was all the way across the space said boxes were moving on.

Somehow, the lightning dragon got the impression that they didn't want to get hit by those things. And that they should probably stick together. If not for that, he could have simply flown over the field-o-boxes. But as things were . . . "Well, s**t," he muttered. "Now what?"

A bit of an idea struck him, and he looked around, trying to see how many of the other students had wings and/or could shift into larger forms (with wings). He and Jericho could at the least. Maybe if the fliers could carry everyone else . . .

(( Gotta sleep now~ XD And I have class til late-ish in the afternoon tomorrow so if some method gets decided on before I get back, assume Aksaja is helping/going along with the group til I can post again whee ))

There was one slight problem with shapeshifting or even flying. They simply, couldn't. The strange voyage to wherever they were robbed them of whatever little Fear they could muster. At this point, if they could even walk in a straight line without being squished, it would be a miracle.

Tybalt rubbed at his eyes, trying to figure out if what he saw before him was an illusion or reality. He wasn't sure. Maybe he hit his head from the fall and was going crazy? Then again, this looked waaay to real to be a hallucination. Weird, but real non-the-less. Damn it! All this... From climbing---or rather, trying to climb trees after some shiny object? If he had known this would happen, he would have reconsidered going after some unknown object. Then again, maybe he wouldn't? The black dog was kind of thick that way.

"Any idea on how to reach that thing now?" He asked no one in particular. Right now he would just be happy to hear ideas. Any ideas.

Blinded by the light emitting from the pendant, Mei shielded her eyes to the best of her abilities; the odd light still reaching her eyes thanks to the cracks in her skin. "What the hell!?" Growling in frustration, Mei dropped her arms at her side as soon as she noticed the light dim---and then there was.. What was it?

"Ooookay? What just happened?" This was too much for one night! She could handle the strange noises--the weird fog--the glowing pendant---but this!? This was over kill. "Umm.. Uh.. Yeah, I got nothing. I've never seen anything like this before, so I'm not an expert." She would try to press forward--but... Just how safe was this place?

No. No, no, no, no- and yet, despite all of Riley's lovely little no's all laid out in a row, it seemed they were falling into yet another perilous adventure into the unknown. WHY did she come out of her dorm when she saw this fog. WHYYYYY.

She landed, quite abruptly, on her rear. The tentacles that had already started to bruise from being landed on before cringed out of the way, unable to withstand another squish. She tried to stand up, with some seriously difficulty, and rubbed her backside.

Then she got a good look at her surroundings. Her first instinct was to turn swiftly on her heel, in hopes that somewhere behind her there was a way back to Halloweentown.

OF COURSE NOT.

Riley held her head in both hands, groaning heavily. Her mind was swirling with dizziness, and she decided that yes, perhaps sitting back down on the grass for a few moments was the best idea.

I'm never leaving the dorm again. She would lock herself in her room and never, ever come out. That would be the end of it.

Sarias hadn't bothered to go for the pendent herself. She had never tried climbing trees before and the fact that on some days she couldn't even feel her legs let along manoeuvre them into coherent places made her reason with herself not to try. Not that she wasn't having fun watching the fog as Students tried to grab the shiny then to re-appear stroking bruised egos and even more bruised behinds.

But all that didn't matter when she felt the world slip from beneath her, they were falling, or at least what felt like falling until the sky opened up to a brilliant blue. She had never seen the sky like that, well not in this lifetime at least.

"Owww"
like most she had landed smack dab on her behind, although not pulverised already by trying for the pendent she was on her feet again looking at the surroundings. "Candle sticks...where the heck is the forest?" Listening to the others, rolling her eyes at the shape shifting idea, how lazy were some students! She squinted to where the glowing pendent now rested and smiled to herself. This...was going to be fun.

"Only one thing for it guys, we get to walk it."

If there was any consolation, Astra's small size may have made her landing on Tybalt less painful, but he may not of noticed. She certainly did, as she knew she landed on something nice and warm and fluffy and

uh oh..

"Ehh, I'm sorry!" She said, jumping off the student as soon as she was able to. As she stood there wondering what to do about the situation, she recalled the moments just before she had fell. The pendant's glow seemed to have increased in intensity. but before she could think more of it, a bright flash blinded her, following by the sensation she was falling.

Except, she wasn't. She was still standing. But now everything was

Very, very, different

Everything turned huge!!

Her eyes the size of dinner plates, the fairy strained her neck to look up the huge rectangle buildings, the size of them overwhelming her. She then looked down at the speeding grey boxes in front of her, and was unable to make out what they were. Save for speeding boxes on wheels. As she gazed around the mass of grey, her eyes caught the shining of an object, and she was delighted to see the pendant on the other side of the moving boxes.

No problem, she would just...just...

"Huh?" Astra murmured out loud. She had not realized it, but she now felt...drained, so to speak. It felt as if her wings would not work anymore. And as she flapped and jumped and flapped again, it seemed that they didn't. She, was grounded.

"ahh...ohnoohnoohnoIcan'tflyIcan'tflyohnonononoohno" For a few minutes she could only blubber and stuffer as the realization sank in. She was in a strange place, and she Could not fly. How the hell was she to do anything if she couldn't fly?!

'okay...must...calm...down' she told herself, taking a few deep breaths. At least she wasn't alone. She was with others...Although, weather this was a good thing or bad thing, she wasn't so sure yet. At any rate they needed to figure out how to get across the grey wasteland to the pendant....Without flying

Her little antenna started to swish and sway as she thought things through. They weren't that far away from the pendant...the only thing stopping them was the fast moving grey boxes. They could not sideways or backwards, forwards was the only option....

"perhaps...there is some way to stop the grey boxes from moving...." Astra said out loud to the group. "Then, we could cross"

What was that? What was that?

While she had decided to stay on the ground while some of the students went for the pendant, she felt the 'aftermath'. She felt like the ground gave way beneath her feet, and in that instant, her stomach seemed to be doing somersaults; it was really uncomfortable and all this while, she blindly tried to grab for Amrita's hand as they 'fell' - not only for comfort, but to check that the ghoul was safe.

However, whatever strength she had vanished as she saw the sky - a brilliant blue sky like the one always mentioned in human tales... While she preferred the eternal night sky of Halloween, she couldn't help but be fond of the idea of a blue sky.

Then, the falling sensation vanished as suddenly as it had started.

"I... What... Am-Amrita...?" She muttered softly to herself as she tried to pick herself up, feeling lethargic for some odd reason. Unable to climb up from the ground, the Demoness groaned, rubbing her temples as she looked up, past some students' legs and into the distance. The pendant was still there... And on the other side of a seemingly dangerous road.

"That... Is not an illusion, right?" She spoke out loud with a slight frown; school was teaching her to be a pessimist.

Amrita had stayed with Lizzy; it was hard to do anything else since she was using the Demoness as a meat shield. But when everything started to change, she wasn't sure what was going on anymore; where she was, what was happening. All she knew, was that it was bright...and colorful. Well, side from the grey wasteland. And there were giant steel boxes on wheels! What was this place?!

"L-Lizzy...I don't...think we're in Halloween anymore..." She stammered out. This place looked nothing like home. Nothing. Ugh, and she felt so weak! The little Undead girl managed to crawl back to Lizzy's side where it felt safe. Well, safe...er. The urge to panic very loudly was rising.

"B-But...how?!" She gaped at Sarias and Astra, turning to look at the rest of the students trapped here. "They're going so fast!"

"Probably not, but... That humming pendant brought us here, it can bring us back to Halloween. We just have to... Get it." While it was spoken mainly to Amrita, it was loud enough for those around her to hear as well; indeed, she was kind of hoping for someone to come up with a suggestion... She would trap the boxes-on-wheels in a web, but she just felt so weak right now.

Lizzy draped an arm around Amrita and pulled her in closer to herself, giving the ghoul a head pat as she muttered something about how 'it'll be okay' under her breath. She then turned to stare at the boxes-on-wheels in front of them again, not quite sure what would be a good way to cross the grey wasteland to the other side.

"We could... Cross the moment a box-on-wheels go past us on that strip of grey? Like run to the other side that way... Since there is some time before a new box-on-wheel zoom past us after one had passed..." She suggested thoughtfully, wondering if she made any sense at all, "But we'll probably need someone who can run fast or something..."

LW rubbing his back felt soothing. Ren let out a contented sigh, breathing in the scent of dew and fresh grass. "That was pathetic," he moaned. "That stuff is weird. The fog makes me feel like utter crap."

Pushing himself half up from the ground, Ren glanced around. They were all gathered now, the rest of the students clumped together in a nervous, uncertain group. He was not quite sure himself what to do now; after all, there were so many of them, and it would take a lot of discussion to figure out just how to get out of here.

"Well, no use just sitting around~"

Stretching his legs, Ren got to his feet, twisting back around to look at Gabrian, still in serpent form, lying on the grass. He raised an eyebrow.

"Whoops," said Ren, trying to keep from laughing. "Looks as if you're stuck in that body for now." He heaved a melodramatic sigh, as if making a great effort. "Guess I'll have to help you."

Reaching down, Ren scooped the snake up, slipping him around his shoulders. It was less of an effort to be actually helpful, and more of an I'm doing this just to be obnoxious. Then he stood there, hands on his hips and surveyed the rest of the group.

"I'm with the ghost girl," he said, meaning Sarias. "Looks like we're just gonna have to walk....although I'm not exactly sure how to accomplish that either, really."

Sarias listened to the others speaking (what she listens!) as they gathered together, some holding onto others while the ones less effected by the dimension change joining her onto their own two feet...well she couldn't say the same for the very large python being strapped around the students neck. Noting the gyphon boy was motioning that he was agreeing with her she smiled slightly and then sarcasticly added. " Its Sarias by the way, but the fairy is right as well." Nodding towards Astra who was peering out towards the boxes.

"and that undead....and the demon....goddess i have to learn some names! But unless someone has the strength and stamina to outrun those things, we need to stop them....any sacrifices? we can always throw the snake under a wheel..."

Sammy had intended to turn and respond to Jericho, to inform him just how horrible being burned to death was, but she never got a chance as the world fell apart in a flash of light. This of course was becoming a regular occurrence it seemed. Everything goes horribly wrong, and they end up somewhere unexpected. The bigger problem was the sensation of weight that hit her again. The feeling of all her FEAR being ripped away and pressed right out of her leaving her slower and weaker. This was not Halloween Town and they didn't have any pumpkin pills this time it seemed.

"Maybe we can travel beside the moving things till we find where they stop and cross? I doubt we can stop those." She turned looking to Astra as she spoke again, "With out FEAR I don't think any of us are strong enough to make them stop so we need to see if and where they do it on their own or if they just disappear."

They had no reasurance of re-appearing in a hospital camp, no pills, no weapons, no fear. Christmas Town had been bad, but this place, she had never heard a story of it and that alone put her even more on edge.

LW was...to say the least, clinging to the closet person to her. Which happened to still be Ren. The she-wolf did not know what the hell had just happened. But her stomach was still doing flips and her heart was racing. Where...where were...they? The scents were different and wrong. The air tasted funny. And it was too JACKING BRIGHT! She had a hand gripping the grphyon's arm while another gripped (as gentle as she could) Gabrian's tail.

"W-where the Jack are we?" She tried not to let her voice wavor, but she was freaked. Hell, this whole night had the she-wolf jumping. And now...oh man. OhJackOhJackOhJackOhJack. Wait! Were was Natalia? LW had been near her lemur counterpart. This just increased her hold on either boil.

"Wha...wait, what?!" LW looked to a ghoul that was familiar but she didn't know her name. Some ghost with wavy blue hair. "You...you can't throw Gabrian!"
