Foenix nodded. "that's right. Alyosha said you could do something to our soil, so that plants will grow better." Here she stopped, and colored slightly. "I . . . um . . . I don't really know how your abilities work . . . So I don't really know what to tell you. Um, maybe you could come visit our home?"
Nehanda flapped her wings and jumped into the air, where she could better see the faces of Acia and Foenix. She flitted close to Acia and merped again, sensing the Aerandir's nervousness.
Foenix bit her lip. "Um, I have a list of the seeds and seedlings that I've bought for planting. Maybe I could give that to you, and Nehanda could take you to our house?" She really wasn't sure why, but Acia seemed to find her presense very distressing. The solution, then, was obvious. Foenix wouldn't stick around.

Acia nodded as Foenix explained the task. She already knew most of this but talking about it slowly brought her back round to herself. With the soil she could be comfortable, she knew it well.
"I.." she was nerver nervous with soil, confidence burbled slightly in her as she spoke to Foenix. " I'm an earth spellweaver, I can manipulate minerals and particles within the soil and thus create all different soil types.. I don't know much about plants but if you tell me which soils they are suited to I can create them." She tailed off, realising just had just been enthusiastically letting her words trip from her. She blushed a little and nervously ran her finges over Nehanda.
"I ... I would love to visit your home and help you" she pushed forward, knowing this was what Alyosha had wanted of her, to interact with the humans. "You would.. probably be best showing me" she gulped, scritching Nehanda's bill lightly.

Nehanda merped yet again. This time the noise was low and soft, like a happy croon as Acia scratched her in just the right place!
Foenix blinked at the Aerandir's sudden outpouring of words, then smiled. "That sounds just wonderful, Acia. You have such an incredible gift! Well, I suppose we can go now, if you like. It's only a short walk over to our home, and I can see that Nehanda can't wait to spend some more time with you."
She stood slowly, stretching a bit to work out the kinks caused by sitting with her knitting needels for such a long time, and began to place everything back into her back. As a last thought, she crossed to the table and placed the glass covering back over the cake stand. No need for that shortcake to go stale while she was away . . .

Acia nodded silently, still blushing at her sudden outburst and at Foenix's kind words. She had to stop petting Nehanda as the little gryphon would have to move now too.
"Ohmy.." she stuttered suddenly and streaked like a blazing line of yellow down the corridor. She came back almost as fast a moment later, blushing furiously and holding her long, wooden staff.
"I .. forgot" she said quietly, murmering into her chin as she raced for the door, eager to be outside in the sunlight, to accomplish this task and then return to her normal space. She'd jjust looked like sush a fool, she was sure.

Foenix hefted her bag and followed the Aerandir outside. This, she decided, was certainly going to be interesting. Nehanda quickly caught up with her, and she whispered over to the little gryphon. "Why don't you go on ahead and catch up with Acia. I think she could use a friend, don't you?"
Nehanda needed no further urging. Beating her little white wings, she zipped out the door and circled Acia's head. She twisted her neck until her head was nearly sideways, knowing how silly it made her look. It always made Foenix laugh, so maybe it would make Acia smile?

Nehanda circled around Acias head making her slightly dizzy in a pleasant way. Her white wings caught the light gloriously, lighting up in a soft manner and making her "glow". The gryphons neck twisted round, looking at her, giving an impression of extreme awkward odd-ness. Acia laughed despite herself and started to dart about, seeing if Nehanda could keep up.

Rahujo had been busy the last couple of days, gathering supplies and materials which she might need in the next few months, especially once the newborn Aerandir passed the gryphon stage and needed tools to bond with.
She had spent an entire day wandering through caves and crevices on the northern island of the atoll, collecting interesting-looking rocks which might contain ores of copper, tin, zinc and other metals.
Another day had been spent gathering wood in the forests of Cetalu. The trunks of two saplings and a section of a lightning-felled hardwood trunk now lay at the back of her forge, slowly drying and curing.
All this work required getting up before sunrise and going to bed late, and spending most of her time away from the village, and as a result Rahujo had not seen any of the islanders for days.
Rahujo wandered into the Centre, wondering if anyone was there. Her eyes widened in shock at the unexpected transformation of the interior. She'd never seen so much pink in her life. She paused at the doorway to the large and seemingly uninhabited room, stunned by pink-shock.
A few seconds later, she noticed the food laid out along the walls, and various abandoned paper plates sitting around the place. Never one to turn down a meal offered, Rahujo wandered over to a plate of appetizers.
Not recognising anything on the plate, she poked at one with a tentative finger. It didn't wobble overly much, and it felt like food, so she picked it up and nibbled on the edge. After a short pause, she popped it in her mouth, concluding that she hadn't died yet, so it was obviously safe to eat.
Oooh, that's tasty... She grinned and began to browse the selection of little scrumptious things scattered about the room. Wonder where everyone else is...

Having sampled most of the food in the room, Rahujo was slightly bored. There didn't appear to be anyone around, and the exuberant overpinkness of the room was beginning to make her eyes hurt. She wandered out of the Centre and headed home.

Alyosha slowly sits back, off the table where he was sleeping. He felt awful, memories of the night before running through his mind. People had been there, seen... she.. ..she..
Was gone. Everyone was. Alone in a wilderness of pink he was a little dazed. Getting wobbily to his feet he decided to clear the centre and his mind. Menial work had always helped that in the past.
He wandered around gathering up all of the remnants and stuffing them into boxes which he piled into the corner. They could be used again next year, surely and there was no point in throwing them away, it'd be such a waste.
Done, he surveyed the now back-to-normal centre, shook out his hear and headed to his quarters. Oddly, he could hear giggling inside....
((XD Certainly an interesting party, guys! I'm going to lock this now since it's nearly done and there hasn't been activity for a while. Hope you all had a happy Valentines!))
