Desmond's blue eyes widened at her request, almost as if his mind was blown. It was like the clouds of despair parted over his head and some guy was giving him the thumbs up. Like all the s**t he had been forced to put up with took a one way ticket out of his life. Suddenly, things were right in the world.
He didn't have to worry about future events looming over his head. Didn't have to worry about Nami or Tessa ******** up all the hard work he'd done. The lack of worry was alarming at first, but by God it was nice.
Without a word, he quietly leaned down, bracing his elbows on the floor, and pressed his lips to hers. About ******** time something went right.

Riyo didn't hesitate to follow Klyde as he approached the leopard, her gaze temporarily glued to the strangely enchanting creature. "He's so big... I bet he's stronger than a mountain lion."
The fur was what attracted her most. Those spots were so pretty on the yellow/brown background. It made her a little jealous, honestly. "Probably do a number on your brother's car." It seemed like she'd pulled the thought out of the air... But it was something she'd been pondering over for awhile.
Noticing the leopard was staring her down, she smiled and waved at it, not that she expected the creature to understand the gesture or anything.

When those blue eyes widened Mitsu was afraid she had asked the wrong thing. But finally Desmond leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers. After only a second she sighed contentedly, those crimson eyes closing as she kissed him back. The kiss was gentle at first but Mitsu found that she wanted more as her lips parted slightly to trace the opening of his mouth with her tongue, that kiss suddenly more demanding as she leaned her head up, her hand reaching up to clutch at his shirt.

Sniffing the air a bit more the leopard pressed its face against the fence, rubbing against it as if it wanted attention. It started to walk again pressing the full length of its body against the fence as it went before it turned to repeat the process.
"I can only imagine what my brothers would think if they found a leopard chewing up the interior of their car." That thought rather amused him. It would make it even better if the leopard left them a little 'surprise' on top of it. Klyde would have to find some way to get back at them for it...he was just going to have to be sneaky about it. They didn't take payback well and would more than likely beat the s**t out of him if they found out.
"I think the tigers are up next," Klyde stated, though he would give Riyo as much time at each habitat as she wanted.

Ohoho. Now this was what Desmond was talking about. Without a moment's hesitation, his own tongue practically lunged out of his mouth to greet hers, his body becoming more and more drawn to hers.
It was within that moment he realized how opportune this situation was. He had Mitsu all to himself. No chance of Shun walking in at the worst possible moment, and nobody to interrupt-
Waaaaait a minute.
Forcing himself to break the kiss, his head whirred around to the door, blue eyes narrowing. "Hold that thought." He told her as he stood, tip-toeing over to the door with intent. He could vaguely hear something on the other side... and he was sure it wasn't mice.
As he came to the door, he lifted up an arm, formed a fist, and loudly pounded on it, a shriek and the sound of breaking glass coming from the other side. Yep. He knew it.
With a swift motion, the vampire unlocked his door and there was his mother, picking up pieces of what had probably been a nice glass. "Ah, Desmond! I brought you a glass of water but I-"
"The floor isn't wet."
"Well I-"
"Mother, how would you like to say hi to Roxanne? She's gotten bigger since you last saw her." Desmond asked with a devious spark in his eye.
"Y-you know I don't like snakes..." Lily quickly replied, standing up nervously with broken glass in hand.
"You know I don't like eavesdropping. So lemme just go open her cage-"
"GOODNIGHT YOU TWO!" Lily shouted, immediately turning around and fleeing the scene. That's what he thought.
With a sigh, the door was closed and locked again, glance turning back to the girl on his bedroom floor. "Now where were we?"

Riyo's smile broadened as the leopard seemed friendly, practically begging for some attention. Without looking around, Riyo hopped over the insignificant barrier between them and the cage to give the leopard a nice pat on the head.
"STOP!" Somebody yelled in their direction. It was one of the zoo keepers... And he looked pissed. "What do you think you're doing?!"
Riyo's hand immediately stopped, looking back at the zoo keeper in a confused manner. "I... Was gonna pet him?" How the hell was she supposed to know you couldn't pet the animals? It didn't seem like a bad idea...
"What do you think the barrier is for? Decoration?"
Riyo looked at the 'barrier', with a raised eyebrow. "That's supposed to keep me out?"
"Yes! You could lose a finger!"
Glancing back to the leopard, she shrugged. "You should probably make those bigger. Besides. He's just a sweet little kitty that wants attention..."
The slightly pudgy man looked at her as if she was insane. "Are you mentally challenged or something? We expect the older patrons to use their heads and NOT try to pet the carnivorous animals. Now get back over here before I kick the both of you out."
Riyo's ears fell back, feeling like a scolded child who'd just spilt the milk. "Sorry kitty.." She mumbled, shoving her hands into her pockets and stepping back over the barrier, a mix of rage and shame on her face. While she didn't appreciate being talked to like that, she also didn't want to get kicked out before she saw everything.

Mitsu had already lost herself in the kiss, her heart beat rising as his tongue had come out to meet hers. So when Desmond suddenly pulled away Mitsu let out a short whine, a pout very evident on her face. Hold that thought? Not sure what he was doing she watched him head toward the door quietly.
Turning over onto her stomach Mitsu was about to ask what Desmond was doing but he had drawn back a fist to pound on his door. The shriek accompanied by the shattering glass from the other side startled Mitsu as she sat up on her hands and knees, eyes wide. When Desmond opened the door it was.....his mother? What had she been doing?
Sitting back on her legs Mitsu watched the transaction between the two. So his mother had been eavesdropping? When the woman finally scampered off, Mitsu couldn't help but look back at the door in an unsure manner as Desmond approached her once again.
"Do you think she'll be back?" It was a little unsettling to think that his mother had been on the other side of the door just listening. Why couldn't she just knock on the door and open it to check on them?

Klyde raised his brows when Riyo stepped over the barrier. "Uh..Ri-" But before he could say anything a zoo keeper had shown up out of no where. Great. Turning toward the pudgy man he didn't quite like the tone he held whether he was right or not. Eyes narrowed, Klyde reached out to pull Riyo close as she stepped back over the barrier. "I would watch what you say, old man." His own voice held a harsher tone, almost threatening.

"Oh, she won't be back." Desmond said confidently as he walked back over to Mitsu. "Mom hates snakes. Especially big snakes... And she knows I won't hesitate to let Roxanne out." He very much liked to let the snake roam his room while he was home, in fact. But he figured the snake could stay in while he had company.
Kneeling next to Mitsu, there was a grin on his face. "So, what would you like to do with the rest of the night, beautiful?" He knew what he would like to do, but there was no way in hell he was going to say anything about it. There was a chance this scenario could be a trap. "We could just.. Go to bed if you're tired." Hopefully that suggestion wouldn't bite him in the a**.

"Or what?" The man immediately barked back, hands on his hips like he was waiting for Klyde to try. "I'm about to have the both of you escorted off the grounds if you insist on not cooperating."
Riyo scooted in close to Klyde, tugging on his shirt to get his attention. "Just let it go." She mumbled, only trying to avoid the confrontation for the sake of seeing the rest of the animals. Had that not been the case, she probably would've punched the guy's teeth out herself.

Mitsu still didn't seem very sure as she looked to the door. When asked what to do Mitsu tried to pull her attention away from the wooden barrier to think. "Go to bed?" She questioned looking around Desmond's room. He didn't have a second bed or a couch in his room...maybe she would be in a different room? Or maybe..."I'm not really tired but...where will I sleep?" It was just easier to ask, right?

This pudgy b*****d was getting on Klyde's nerves. The vampire was about to draw his lips back and snarl like one of the animals locked away in these cages but Riyo's voice caught his ear. Let it go? Looking to her for a moment it he finally sighed. Fine...he could let it go.
"Nothing..." He finally said to the zoo keeper. "We won't be any more trouble." His voice was kept as calm as possible but it was a struggle. "Come on, Riyo." Trying to lead Riyo on down the path he hoped to get out of the zoo keepers sight as soon as possible least he decide he regretted just leaving things as they were.

Whelp. For a straightforward question, that was kinda hard to answer. He could say 'You'll be sharing a bed with me, of course!' But that was a little presumptuous, considering that's what he had been hoping for all day and it would be obvious if he said it like that...
"You can sleep in my bed. I'll sleep on the floor." There were other bedrooms, but Desmond didn't want to leave Mitsu alone in the big, practically empty house. Not that he thought his parents would do anything... But better safe than sorry. "The sheets are silk. It's really comfy."

Luckily, it appeared the zookeeper had better things to do than harass them for the rest of the day, because when they started to walk away, he turned the other way. Maybe things like that happened a lot?
"Thanks." Riyo said softly, managing a smile again. "After we see the rest of the cats, you can do whatever the hell you want." Not that she really wanted to be kicked out, but Riyo figured she'd clue him in to her intent. Let him know she wasn't actually going soft on humanity.
Her footsteps stopped s they came to the next attraction: the tiger. If the leopard's markings struck her as beautiful, the two tigers left her in awe. One the usual orange, the other a snowy white. "Woah..." They were also significantly bigger than the leopard. It did a good job of taking her mind off previous events.

Sitting back Mitsu looked at the bed, her eyebrows furrowed together. "I...don't want you to have to sleep on the floor." Though the bed did look comfy...and it was so big. "I can sleep on the floor." She offered still trying to think of something to do unaware that she was foiling plans by saying that.
"C..can we go for a ride? In your car again?" Her tail began to wag a little at the thought. She rather liked car rides, she even liked the motorcycle rides though they had been a little scary at first. "W..we don't have to." She added quickly so that he didn't feel the need to say yes. "It...was just an idea."

Looking down at Riyo, Klyde's frustration started to ease away. "Yeah, I don't want to get us kicked out before you see everything." He frowned a little looking back at the zoo keeper's retreating back. "I ought to feed that guy to something though." And it didn't sound like he was joking about it either.
As they came to a stop outside the tiger habitat, Klyde found he was able to smile once again at Riyo's reaction. "Not what you expected?" He questioned looking over toward the two large felines.

"Ohnonono. You're not sleeping on the floor in this house." Desmond quickly responded, hopes now shattered that she'd say 'we can just share it.' Oh well. Worth a shot.
The 'can we go for a ride' was not taken the same way as Mitsu intended... Until she added 'in your car'. Wow, he just now realized how deep his mind was in the gutter. "Sure." He hid his deflation behind a smile, trying to focus on where he could take her instead of when he'd get laid.
Grabbing his keys, the vampire opened his bedroom door and held it open long enough for her to walk out. "Any particular place you'd like to go? Or do you just want to drive for awhile?"

Riyo had been about to say 'Or you could just eat him yourself' in a joking tone, but her mind was now completely focused on the beautiful cats, the overwhelming desire to pet the dangerous creatures setting back in.
Immediately her hands met her pockets to resist temptation. "Definitely bigger than I thought they would be." Big enough to...
"Holy s**t. They're probably big enough to ride!" Riyo exclaimed, eyes widening at the thought. "Screw having a car, I want to ride a tiger. Much more fuel efficient and eco friendly. It would also help with the overpopulation." She... Sounded serious. "Are the lions bigger? I could have a carriage pulled by lions.."

Looking rather excited, Mitsu picked herself up off the floor and followed Desmond out. "Oh I don't know. We can just drive around if you want. Are there places to see? I've never been in this area before." She honestly didn't care, the prospect of a care ride sounded fun enough.

"They definitely aren't the mountain lion you fought at camp." Klyde mused. Her next exclamation was met with a small chuckle, the very thought of Riyo riding down the street in a lion drawn carriage was rather comical. At least to him. He could only imagine the trail of screaming left in her wake. "The male lions are pretty big, you could probably just skip the carriage and ride it." Klyde joked, grinning as he waited for Riyo to move. "You want to head a bit further to see them? There are cheetahs and a panther as well."

"I'm sure I could find a few places." He didn't drive much. Usually he saved it for when he was upset and just needed to get out of the house, and when that was the case, he went for scenic drives.
It appeared that both his parents had gone to bed, because most of the lights were out and all was quiet. Once again, Desmond opened the passenger door for Mitsu and moved back over to the drivers side. No hitches in the car starting up or getting out of the garage.
Once they were out on the road, the vampire leaned back slightly, keeping the car at the speed limit so Mitsu could take in the sights.
When they finally exited the neighborhood, they passed a few gas stations before there was a lifeless stretch of road, only trees on either side. "You can turn on the radio if you want. For an old piece of crap, it works surprisingly well."

"Yeah, lets go see them!" While the tigers were beautiful, she was ready to see everything else.
As they reached the lions, her expression was the same as it had been. Awe-stricken. "Yes. Somebody should breed ride able lions, because they're way cooler than horses." Though.."Hah... I've never actually seen one of those up close either."
Though, her eyes happened to catch something while she was staring at one of the male lions... And it made her snicker. Looking away with a big smile, she bit her lip to hold back her laughter.

This time around Mitsu was able to show a little better just how excited she was. A broad smile covered her face as they left the neighborhood, her eyes taking in the stretch of road they were on. "Aww, don't say that Desmond. I like your car." Indeed the vehicle was rather nice in Mitsu's eyes. She would certainly drive something like it if she had the ability. A car just wasn't in her budget, especially with her brother gone and a house to upkeep.
As he suggested Mitsu reached out and after a moment managed to turn on the radio. The station she settled on was random, it sounded mostly like rock but she turned the volume down so that it was more of a soft noise and her and Desmond could still speak without having to yell. Smiling once everything was set, Mitsu looked up again seeing that there were only trees for as far as the eye could see. Curious, she shifted so that she could easily turn and look out her window. "Where are we going?"

Klyde followed Riyo to the lions amused once again by her reaction. "I have to agree, they are way cooler than horses." Though when she started to snicker he couldn't help but sent a questioning look her way. "What's so funny?" He asked in an amused tone as she turned away from the habitat.

"My car is nothing compared to Klyde's." Desmond admitted, having a little bit of vehicle envy for his cousin's ride. "But this gets me to and fro, so I guess I shouldn't complain."
Enjoying the music only brief seconds before Mitsu asked where they were going, the car slowed down to turn onto a back road. "Nowhere inparticular. I figured I'd take you through the back roads. Lots of cool stuff to see." Couple abandoned buildings, pretty scenery, no people to bother them. "Let me know if you get bored and we'll turn around and do something else."

"Nothin'." She answered innocently, grabbing Klyde's hand and squeezing it. Best to just drop that one. "Lets go see the rest of the animals." Though... What would they do afterwards?
Would she go home... Or swallow her pride and go back to his house? Now that she wasn't miserable... She kinda felt bad for just ditching Claire like that. The main reason she'd agreed to go over to his house was to meet her, after all. "Hey... What do you want to do after this?"

"I think its a nice car," Mitsu looked over the interior for a moment. It was a rather spacious vehicle on the inside. As for where they were going, since it was really no where, Mitsu went back to looking out the window. It was a very scenic drive, a few scattered buildings here and there, lots of trees and lots of land but really no people.
It wasn't until Mitsu caught sight of something through the trees that her interest really peeked. "What's that over there?" It looked like water but it was hard to really know for sure at this distance.

It didn't seem like Klyde was going to find out what was so funny. It wasn't too much of a concern though as Riyo took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "Okay," He nodded, starting to walk so they could see what they could before the zoo closed.
"Uh, well I guess that's up to you really." A touch of worry seemed to set into Klyde's expression. "I could take you to get something to eat, or we could try to go back to my house. We can always hide away in my room. If you don't want to go back there we can get a hotel." He offered since he really wanted to spend some time with her. "I..if you really want I can take you back to the dorms." Reluctantly he threw that in as well, though he really didn't want to.

Desmond's glance shifted to Mitsu, then where she was looking, slowing down to a stop, he quietly looked around for something, a smile slowly spreading on his face. "Why don't I show you?" Turning down an obviously seldom used one lane road, it appeared as if they were going the wrong way for a moment... But as it looped back around, there was a clearing and a patch of gravel for somebody to park. It was the perfect place for viewing the lake hidden behind the trees, right on the hillside so one could see the big picture. "What do you think?" He asked, throwing the car in park and leaning back to look at her. He anticipated a nice reaction from this one, considering how the stars were sparkling in the water.

Riyo's pace slowed as Klyde went over their options, quietly thinking about what they could do. The reluctance in the last option made it obvious that he didn't want that... And neither did she.
"I don't wanna go back to the dorms." She admitted, scooting closer to him. Though... She wasn't so sure she wanted to go back to his house either. However, there was still that little bit of guilt in her stomach..
"I tell you what." She finally said after a short silence. "You take me to grab something to eat, then we'll go back to your house... But there's no way I'll be leaving your room." While she was in better spirits, it definitely wouldn't stay that way if she ran into that... Man again. Ugh.
