Well so much for the cafe being peaceful. It was right after getting inline that Emily was bumped into by one of the twins. It seemed to be an accident and the boy quickly apologized, and then introduced himself. He was pretty loud though and he kept stuttering, something that Emily found a bit odd. Usually people who stuttered were quiet but as she had learned there was an exception to everything. "I'm Emily, nice to meet you," she said to him, returning the introduction.

Andrew appeared to wince in pain, hearing Emily introduce herself. Why out of all the names out there did she happen to have his abusive sister's name?! Could she not be named Chelsea, or something equally as cute?! "O-oh.. um..." He was now back to being quiet, luckily. "W-w-what a erm.. c-c-cute name." That's a compliment right? Too bad his sister, behind him, chuckled and whispered; "Incestuous b*****d." That just made this very difficult. But not the time! Andrew, quickly think of something that can help you out of this situation quickly and safely.. but he didn't want to be afraid of falling asleep again, he just barely got used to sleeping. Pick up lines normally work right? He's looked some up on google, and they're usually silly, but girls have to like them, best to at least try and get slapped then not try and have to get used to detention for sleeping in class...

Andrew decided to say the best pick-up line he could think of.. which wasn't saying a lot. "Erm.. h-h-ave you always been t-that c-c-cute Emily? O-or did you have to work at it...?" That's a good one, right? He hoped so. His face already burned because of the boiling water! Well that or because of how bright red he was blushing. He should probably see a doctor before he passes out in embarrassment.

Did he just wince at her name? Well this was becoming very awkward, very fast. "Um...thanks?" Emily stated in reply to what she assumed was a compliment. She looked around, wondering if that may possibly be the end of their conversation. It was quiet for a moment until Andrew stuttered a pickup line out of nowhere. "Uh, sure," was all Emily said in reply as she gave him a weird look.

When is this damn line going to move?! Andrew thought, really he already checked this under complete failure, and was hoping he could google some way of making a cream to prevent the boiling water from stinging for too long. "I-I'm sorry! I'm just bad at talking to erm, and hitting on uh, girls, and you, and my sister, and and.. if I didn't I would have had boiling water poured on my face by a sadistic-" He felt his sister glaring him, was that a bad sign? "..Person, that I don't know!" Great, now he sounds schizophrenic. She even looked at him as if he was weird! Why did people do that?! Wait! "Brownie?!" He asked, taking out a chocolate brownie form his pocket, it was wrapped in plastic too, and looked homemade.

She didn't really get much out of what he was saying due to all the stuttering that was going on. She got the gist of it though, he was bad at hitting on girls and he didn't want boiling water poured on his face. She wasn't quite sure what that last bit had to do with anything so she just went with the smile and nod method, that is until he pulled out a brownie. It looked pretty good, and who was she to refuse a snack. "Oh, thank you," she said to him.

"Y-you're welcomed, I erm, made them myself..." He did too, the secret is extra chocolate, to make it nice and sweet and fudgy! The line still didn't move, so, small talk would still work, right? He could at least make a friend! A friend that's a girl. That's the best a nerd can hope for! "I-I've never seen you in erm, school before..." That's a conversation starter! Then again, Andrew sits in the back corner to avoid anyone looking at him, or needing him to pass back papers. Actually, he's never even seen her talk to someone. Was she the same kind of pathetic loser that sits in the back row to avoid all social situations, like him and David? She would so fit into their nerd circle, consisting of two people.. well, it's more of a line, maybe with another person it can be a triangle... "D-d-do you want to be f-friends? Is that what people ask w-when they t-talk.. t-to.. p-people?" He lost his courage around the end there.

"You did?" she asked him after taking a small bite, "They're really good," she noted before taking another bite of the brownie. "Well I just moved here not too long ago," she began, "So I haven't been going to the school here all that long," she explained. Come to think of it, she hadn't ever really noticed him in school either, but then again she didn't really pay the people in class much attention. She was usually focused on her work. It wasn't long after her last statement he asked if she wanted to be his friend. He was a bit odd but he seemed pretty nice, "Sure," she told him with a smile.

Emily stared at the other girl, who was named a really pretty name that she fully respected. What kind of brownie was she eating? The only kind of brownie she knew that her brother cooked was the special kind, and he wouldn't be dumb enough to give her a brownie form his pocket and completely forgetting that it's filled with delicious cannabis butter?! Yes.. yes he is that stupid. But she can;'t blame him, he is going gaga over a girl who has the most perfect name in the world. It's really no surprise that Andrew wanted to produce offspring with a girl that has the same name as his sister, that way he can get his incestuous freak on- Emily shook her head. The disturbingly pleased smile she had thinking of this was rather freaky, so she had to shake it off.
"Thanks..." He replied nervously. He would also say that he moved here not too long ago, but he's been here long enough to no longer want to say that. When she said sure to his request, he felt as if he would start emitting a red and warm glow from himself from sheer shyness. Someone said yes to him asking if they wanted to be friends?! Is.. is that how it usually works when you meet new people? It has to, or else it wouldn't have just now. Though, what do friends even do? All he and David do is play card games, watch torrented anime, and occasionally bake-..brownies! Pot brownies! Like the one he was saving in his pocket that he.. gave.. to her... "Erm, uh, oh uh, erm..." Well damn! "..do you feel okay?"

↘ xx Letting off a small sigh, Justin came from the back room. Just another day at work, act friendly, smile, and get the day over with. Simple? He had his doubts. His first couple days here was filled with hectic scenarios and other things he's have to get used to. It kind of made him excited. Letting out a small laugh, he looked up, seeing they had a couple customers. 'Oh s**t, hope they weren't impatient...' He said, with a little laugh, leaning back on the counter a little, wondering if they were even going to place on order.

"You, blond boy, where is my drink already?!" Emily asked, arms crossed, glaring at Justin. She did order their biggest, blackest, bitterest, most expensive caffeinated drink, and some toilet water for Andrew. "God, I swear, heard the last coffee shop was so much better. It at least had stupid weaboo kids to lack at while the employees don't get you drinks!" She wondered if she could ask the principle for a consultation to sue this coffee shop for inefficiency.. maybe she should write a letter later.

↘ xx Oh was he wrong about the customers being impatient. Hearing the voice of the girl, which he could pretty much tell that she was young just from hearing it, he glanced up, seeing it was just a little girl, which made him laugh a little. Did this place have rude children as well? Thinking about that made him laugh a bit more to himself, looking at the girl with a little smirk when she said that about the shop. 'Well, if the other shop was better, then why not go back to it and save some time then?' He asked himself. "Yo, the little girl with the big mouth. I've got something that'll make things MUCH easier." He said, putting to good amount of emphasis when he said 'much'. "How about you actually tell me your order instead of being so whiny about it, that'll help out a lot." Once he had let out his little speech, he let out a little groan. "Little girl..." He mumbled.

It wasn't long before Emily had finished the brownie and it was at about that time that the line began to move. She looked back towards Andrew who was muttering "erms" ands "uhs," "Yeah I feel fine," she answered him, not quite sure why he had even asked that. She turned back to look at the cashier and Andrew's sister as she heard the girl complain, "Your sister sure is demanding," she noted.

"I ALREADY- GAH! I want your BIGGEST, BLACKEST, MOST EXPENSIVE DRINK!" She asked loudly. "Erm..." "Oh, and toilet water for my pack mule." How could she forget? Andrew would probably calapse from exhaustion if she didn't get him some water.. but tap water seemed too nice and easy to get, toilet water could involve scooping! "Y..yeah she is.. you.. never get used to it." Andrew said to Emily, he would have said that you get used to it; just like someone with cancer gets used to the crippling pain and that silly dying thing they have going on.. only you don't really get used to Emily. She was too aggressive, persistent, hard to get rid of, and would probably be the death of Andrew. Hm, guess she is like cancer. Wait, stop thinking of cancer! Emily - cute unrelated Emily - might read your mind, and think that you're some kind of freak who likes thinking of dying people... Andrew tensed up, still not completely sure that people can't read each other's minds somehow.
"W..what would you like? I-I'll um.. p-pay for it..." As long as she doesn't order the biggest, blackest, most expensive thing there anyway.

↘ xx Well, that was a pretty descriptive order. He hoped she knew that they did have a menu here and he was sure that the menu didn't have a biggest, blackest, most expensive drink, or toilet water in that manner. She must of be a pretty nice girl wanting to give toilet water for someone. He took out his notepad, just writing down a black coffee for her, him looking over at the other guy. "Did you actually want some toilet water, or would you like me to take your order also?" He asked him, looking at the girl he was talking to as well. "And did you have an order to place miss?" He asked her.

Emily giggled a bit, "Do you have any other siblings?" she asked as she glanced over at his sister. She quickly turned back to Andrew though as she heard him offer to pay for her drink, "That's alright, I have money," she answered him. She looked up at the cashier, "Yes, I would like a vanilla frappuccino, please." she told the man.
