Roy had wandered down the alley ways of Durem's most dangerous areas hostling his dual dessert eagles as he looked around as he see's a rat and crushes it with his boot. "Little thing wouldnt have lasted.." He said softly as he looked up his left eye became red and examined the area quietly looking of any dangerous obstacles or enemies. He spotted a looter behind a barrle crotched down and holding an SMG. "Heh.." He chuckled as he pretended ot not see him and walk by him as the looter jumped out and aimed the gun at him "Give me all your money or die!" The looter yelled. Roy simply slammed his hand into the looters stomach, grabbed his head and smashed it against the concret wall before watching the bloody broken face fall to the ground. "Wow that was hard.." He said before removing one of his desert eagles and firing three shots at the body before moving on down the alley way.
[[Little warning i'm coming from Durem to the city.]]

The piercing radiant moon, The storming of poor June, All the life running through her hair,
Had he been unconscious then perhaps things would have gone well...
Approaching guiding light, Our shallow years in fright, Dreams are made winding through my head,
But now that he was awake, the limited healing factor of his body went to work. As best as it could have under the circumstances. He wasn't going to be so groggy let alone sedated for long, as his body adjust to the "foreign" substance in it, and flushed it out through his sweat glands.
Through my head, Before you know, Awake,
He was sweating at this point, the temperature around his body rising accordingly to an almost feverish degree that no normal human should have been able to withstand.
Your lives are open wide, The V-chip gives them sight, All the life running through her hair,
"Ungh...hah..hah....Ungh..."
The spiders all in tune, The evening of the moon, Dreams are made winding through my head,
He could see it again... that ugliness inside of him. The darkness that refused to go away.... the other side of him that waited beneath the surface. Nothing but black flames surrounded his mind even as he yelled aloud, peircing the stillness with a sadness that would not go away.
Through my head, Before you know, Awake
He was sitting up in the bed, even as he panted, eyes clearly focused and beads of sweat running off his face and shoulders. He stared at the horro that was his mangled and 'fixed' right arm, unable to recollect the last moments after getting struck with lightning.
Through my head, through my head Before you know, Before you know I will be waiting all awake,
Dreams are made winding through her hair, Dreams are made winding through her hair.

Honey...?
Lucind was half tempted to come along with some funny reply, a weak grin curling her lips. But then the sounds coming from the room indicated things were getting worse - yet the Half-Siren didn't move and remained unseen from within the room between doorframe and window.
With the wall in her back as a support for her still wobbly knees, the Half-Siren sighed and closed her eyes in concentration. She didn't flinch when the hallucinating and panicking man cried out. Instead, a quiet, yet somehow intensive melody filled the patient's room, creeping into the devil's ears. A sweet, sweet song, similar to the one she had hummed before drifting into sleep. Low tones with a foreign vibrancy which were innocent and attracting at once.
The song told of endless plains, grass stroken by the wind which resembled the ocean's waves...the crying of gulls, foaming water rolling over shores...white sand coloured by the evening sun which was taken over by a full moon...silvery light falling onto the dark earth, creating shadows between tree and bush...the wind whispering between leaves and mingling with soft voices...silhouettes like ghosts, dancing and swaying, singing of endless plains and grass combed by the wind...
It was walking the thin line between settling down in someone else's mind - not like invading it, but carefully undermining the disturbing and shocking thoughts or visions and replacing them with more pleasant, relaxing images - and failing with being gentle enough to not appear as just another enemy. She had to observe if the man accepted her helping hand - else she wasn't going to push anything. Both of them weren't really in the condition for any kind of fights...

((I'm sorry, Gaia collapsed on me while I was working on this.))
Denise went into Vahn's room hoping for the best, as it was time to wrap the arm in in fresh bandages. The temperature reading was to high, the nurse thought the equipment was broken and ordered it checked. It was working fine.
Since he was already sitting up, they adjusted the bed so he could sit more comfortably.
"Get 1000mg of acetaminophen in that IV," she said, "And get the cooling packs out now."
The cooling Packs were designed to be placed over his limbs and forehead, they contained a refrigerated gel that would help to greatly reduce his bodies temperature.
Denise shook her head sympathetically, "What in the world happened to you child."

"Town.... have to save... town..spider..."
He kept mumbling, even as he stared ahead, holding his left hand up and grabbing his own face. Delayed pain washed over him and he groaned, even as people continued to try and make him sit still.
"Where... am I..."

Lucind Varhetel ((So, did it work? Lu's song, I mean. Or did you both fail to register it...? [insert anime-esque fainting] Anyway, will write a post when I'm back from the rehearsal.)) ((It seems to have worked on Vahn, he's actually talking and making sense. I didn't think the song would have a noticeable affect on the staff because it was aimed at and created for Vahn's conciousness.))

((Well yeah, the effect of the song is for Vahn only, like...'coded' for his ears, yet others can hear it and might be slightly affected as well, depending on their mental strength. So, here we go.))
When the song ended, cold sweat glistened on Lucind's forehead. She gulped several times and quickly ran her tongue over her lips. Slowly and with shaking legs, the woman steadied herself at the wall and waited a moment before she turned around and shuffled forward a few steps until she appeared in the doorframe.
"It's...a hospital....ob...viously..." The woman panted and succeeded with producing a loopsided, yet exhausted grin.

Vahn Kyonuske "Town.... have to save... town..spider..." He kept mumbling, even as he stared ahead, holding his left hand up and grabbing his own face. Delayed pain washed over him and he groaned, even as people continued to try and make him sit still. "Where... am I..." ((Do you think the staff would have some idea what might of happened?)) "A hospital it is, now how in the world did you figure that out?" Denise laughed to Lucind, then turned to Vahn, "It says you are Vahn, and I am so glad to here you making sense I could smile all night long. I'm your night shift nurse by the way, I heard you two are all over the news. Rumor has it that you stopped some kind of big moffa mother ********' monster, ohh pardon my French, from destroying the whole city of Latent. It's honor to help fix you two up."
"Do you feel up to sitting with him a little bit," Denise asked Lucind, "If you do we'd certainly allow it.""Don't remove the bandages on your arm for a week, and then you might still want to keep it freshly bandaged." Denise said to Vahn, "You won't want to look at for a while. You'll have scars, but trust me, it'll look like a very muted design once it is fully healed."

"I can't..."
Once more he pushed up, trying to get to both feet. His head went swimming with images, as he grunted. His head felt like a ton of bricks had been dumped onto it.
"...I need to get back to Sunstrike..."

Lucind shot a sidewards glance at the nurse when she told about that monster which Vahn and her were supposed to have killed but just smiled vaguely. She hmm-ed an affirmation when Denise asked her if she felt well enough to stay a few minutes and slowly walked over to the bed's end.
When Vahn mentioned Sunstrike, the woman's ears seemed to twitch a little but she only calmy stated: "You won't be much of a help like this and pass out before you even make it down the corridor. ... I also wish I could leave this place yesterday-" She looked down on her mummy-hands. "But impatience won't bring us anywhere right now."

((Sorry))
"Well," Denise said, taking a seat and making herself comfortable, "I've been ordered to attend to you two and specially to you two. I'm going to cater to your every whim. Oh... the two guys outside are Bruno and Randolf, they are here as nurses aides."
Denise flipped on the news, the main topic was EdwardYaitsIII and the contraversal speech he gave before leaving Latent for Yaits City, but it was on very low volume.
"They say that dude's dream built this city, they say he's a financial wizard," Denise said, "I don't know about him, but I know this, it can't all be just luck. I like to keep good tabs on my patients. I here he's tryng to convince the Latent City Council to make this boy a local hero and give him some kind of award. He's all riled about these undead terrorists. I wonder if he'll be the one to finally rid Gaia of them once and for all."
"I don't know if he can be trusted, but I have to say one thing, I've never seen a hospital run like this before. This place is the best in the world I've ever seen."

A private Boeing 777 touched down on the expansive runway of Bakkar International Airport. When it came to a halt near the terminal, Yaits and his entourage dexcended. There were a few people from the media there to take pictures and record his disembarkation from the aircraft, but whatever they recorded wouldn't look to congenial or flatering. He was scowling, nothing would remove the dominating frown from his face. It was attributed to what he'd seen in Latent and how he felt. That wasn't it.
Back in his office, Yaits locked the door, it was a secure, sound proof office that afforded complete and total privacy as well as protection. The first thing he did was dial the number to the other end of his his secure phone line. If that annoying little crow wanted him to make the first move than so be it, he would make the first move. The question was, would there be an answer from the other end?
