Everyone with over 3 recommendations has been promoted. I might up it to 5~10 in the future since 3 seems to come very easily. I'm passing guild leadership to the Mafia Maniac and posting the new password in the mod room; everyone will be able to send announcements and perform leader duties as they see fit and I trust that no one will exploit that position.

Holy cow, how did this all happen?
All in one day? Why did I miss this? This is so weird. Also, yeah, I'm nominating LPS too. She's a great person and she knows her stuff. She's very easily one of the greatest people in this guild. I don't see a reason why anyone wouldn't want her to be captain again.

Montiqueue Holy cow, how did this all happen? All in one day? Why did I miss this? This is so weird. Also, yeah, I'm nominating LPS too. She's a great person and she knows her stuff. I don't want anybody, myself included, to feel like they own the place when it takes every single one of us to make it what it is.

Whoever came up with that idea is a genius. I think it might help if we try to rotate mods every 6 months, to keep fresh blood coming in.

But if things are running smoothly then why ******** with it?
@Haru: It was Allegro's idea originally, I just mentioned it here though then he acted like he wasn't sure about it. Allegro, I don't appreciate your inconsistency.

Mmmmaaybe there should be some kind of requirements to becoming a Mod? Like, amount of time spent as a guild member, amount of activity and community involvement, etc....Stuff like that; and when one feels that one has met said requirements, they could fill out a form (?) and the Guild votes Yay or Nay to promotion. ....Did that make sense? lol

Go to a place like...whatever that Suites Guild is, which has about a Million members, they have to come up with a promotion system that's both fair and accessible by the general public. Even Gaia, as a corporation, uses the 'Fit this criteria, than fill out a form' system for hiring new Mods and such. It seems to be a commonly accepted way to promote anybody...anywhere. lol!

So I'm revisiting this because some of our mods are inactive and the place is a little out of hand. Mods'll be switched up every 3 months; this is to encourage regulars to actively participate in the direction the guild takes instead of complain about it and remind moderators that they're in a position of responsibility, not power.
The first quarter change will be applied in about a week.
