Sydney had passed by the pumpkin carving booth, but had never bothered to actually stop and carve out a pumpkin until now. Perhaps it was because other booths had managed to catch her eye quicker, or perhaps the amazing designs that had been produced at this booth inspired her to make a [hopefully] just as awesome pumpkin. Grinning broadly, she reached over for a decent-sized pumpkin, stealing a quick glance at the person running the booth. It looked like a guy, but his hair was incredibly long and smooth like a girl’s. Huh, odd. After taking a couple seconds to stare at the orange fruit her eyes lit up and she began to get to work. It had been a while since she carved pumpkins, though. She wondered if it would turn out any good. At least she was humming the Mario tune by the time she finished.

Clearly, sighed Tallulah, staring at the judging table, the complexity of the pumpkin had nothing to do with whether or not it won. It was time to go back to basics. She eyed the pile of pumpkins smugly, thinking. She was going to revisit her idea from the first day, and either it was going to work or... "It's going to work," declared Tallulah resolutely, and set about carving.

Xavier actually showed up at the booth not costumed - the last thing he needed was pumpkin guts all over something that wasn't his. It was safer that way.
And one last pumpkin, and the season would be over. He'd watched Nightmare Before Christmas last night - it was tradition, really - and so it was a little obvious what he would carve.
Obvious or not, carve he did.

Marx had been too distracted to drop by the pumpkin booth the last two nights, and oddly he found that he'd missed it. Decorating was actually a fun little way to pass the time. This night however, for his final pumpkin he brought along a small knife to carve with. And, breaking his little theme of giving the pumpkins faces, he decided to go with just a little more creativity this time. Not much, though. And since he'd never done this carving thing before.. something simple would just have to do. Remembering a stuffed toy he'd seen for a game that he passed by on his way here, the choice -to him, at least- is an obvious one. Pokepumpkin, go!

Istas frowned, today was the last day she could try for a prize. She sat down and looked at her pumpkin she picked the biggest one she could carry. She picked up some blue paint. Maybe the idea about the duck pond would be.... most interesting after all.
She started working on the blue and a pink wall with some clouds. It took her a while to paint it, with the pumpkin so large she was trying to do her best and make it as detail as she could possible.
When she was finally finished she sat back and looked at it waiting for it to dry. She sighed softly, maybe, just maybe, the little girl could hope. She had done some interesting pumpkins at least, Istas nodded as she picked it up and sat it to be judged.

It was Halloween day.
Any who knew Anastasia Wickham knew she did not like being out and about during the day on Halloween. In fact, she didn't like being out at night either.
Earlier than she usually would, she appeared at the booth. He nodded his head to her as she did what she was supposed to do. Considering the day it was, she picked what she felt was appropriate for the "holiday." A spooky pumpkin with what looked like a mean ghost on it.
With that, the woman told her son to dismantle and clean up the booth. Today was the last day, and she wasn't about to have him wandering around at night on Halloween. The musketeer assured her he could handle it.
The next morning, he'd call not just one winner, but two. The darling Istas had more than earned her right to a prize as well.
(OOC: Congrats to LP, who has literally entered every day that this game has been open. In recognition of your dedication, I am rewarding you with a free civvie as well.)
