John heard the wailing while he went across the river. He walked along the streets towards his flat that was a few miles away from the main part of town. He put his hands in his pockets and walked silently down the streets. Something happened to him that day. Something that would change what he was now.

For the longest time Rose simply knelt in the middle of all the Shades in silence. Her Omni-Scanner blipped idly as if it were bored and wished for something to do. Finally she stood up and began dragging the Shades into a pile after which she burned their remains.
The Shades had been disorganized, uncontrolled and by the readings she had gathered, they were low on power. It was as if they had simply been torn from their masters and dropped here. A crack in space?
She stretched her shoulders and winced. She could practically feel the red marks around her neck. Her watch suddenly rang out loudly and she groaned.
"I'm so tired..." she sighed and slowly dragged herself to her feet. Simply today she'd been pounced on, strangled, and basically run ragged. And to top it all off, she'd been made to feel lower than dirt.
"Amy, thanks for your help. Please, go look after the Doctor. Like it or not, he needs you around to keep him out of trouble," Rose said as she rubbed her shoulder, "there's another anomaly I have to check out before I turn in. Hopefully this one doesn't have metal beasties coming after me."
She picked up the empty tank of Oxidizer and slipped into the Tardis. It felt like home... in a strange melancholy way. She slowed her steps and gently ran a hand over the console and the coral-like curves of the pillar. Her hands soon rested on the console. Faint echoes of all the happy days inside the TARDIS flickered back into her mind and she smiled. She didn't know if this Doctor had traveled with another Rose just like her... or if perhaps she didn't exist at all in this reality. She inadvertently pressed her hand against a reader and the Tardis' lights flickered.

A video came up on the screne with the Doctor on it. He poked the camera "Is this working?" He poked it a few more times and did a weird face.
"Ok so to all of you who will somehow see this video I have a list of things I would like to say.
1. I turned myself into a human that's pretty obvious
2. Don't let me eat Pears I HATE Pears
4. wait a minute
3. If you don't want to die don't go into the old art museum
4. I buried some useful items under the grave of shakespeare in the cathedral DO NOT judge me for that besides he gave me permission
5. Don't let me into the Tardis
6. How many time's do I have to tell you that the Medusa Cascade has a lot of time breaks and deminsions! Don't get fused up about little things like that!
7. Don't worry I will probably, most likely, maybe remember you
8. So I can get this out and I will not be saying this for awhile, Timey Wimey Wibbly Wobbly.
9. Yes, I met elvis and he gave me copy writes. Although he was a jerk I mean really he's not who you might think he is. Although he did like me a lot but was truly a jerk and even made fun of my accent. I mean what's up with that?
10. Alway's have a banana on hand just in case of emergency
11. Whatever you do NEVER EVER go into old art museum......wait I already said that but you got the point just just just don't go there!
12. In the "sun room" I have a batch of my favorite flowers. Sadly though one of them disappeared my most favorite one. I think I lost it in the Medusa Cascade.
13. If I regenerate make sure I'm a ginger
14. SAVE THE TREES!!
15. Don't let me leave you
16. Keep me safe obviously
17. Open my watch only when you are in great need or if it is time and you will know when it is time

Rose felt hot and cold at the same time. She left the video on loop and listened to his words over and over again. This was the Doctor speaking to her... She ran as fast as her feet could carry her deep into the Tardis and burst into the "sun room". Inside were vase after vase of violet roses, so pale they looked silver. Her heart raced wildly. It hadn't been a fluke. The Doctor had called out to her. This version of the Doctor had called out to her. She reached out and touched the soft petals of a flower.
"I'm here Doctor..." she whispered silently inside the empty TARDIS hoping against hope that somehow, her thoughts would reach him, "I'm right here, and I promise, I'll never leave you. I'll keep you safe."

(lol amy always gets left behind!. Lol u get it? you guys are always online when im not and im online when u arent lol whatevs amy will have to catch up like she always does smile }
Amy watched as all the cybershades came in and they all worked together to destroy them. Then once they were all gone rose spoke to her and she replied back to her. "Thanks for all your help, rose" she said smiling. "Well good luck with that" she said smiling. "Well I'll see you soon" she said smiling. She had realized that the doctor had left already and had to catch up with him. But when rose went into the tardis amy had the strongest urge to follow her but she stopped. She heard the sound from inside the tardis.. it was the doctors voice. She smiled as she listened to his voice and what he said on the video. A tear rolled down her face as she heard the last words of the doctor. She missed him so much... why'd he have to turn into a human? She quickly wiped her tear away and ran after john, her hair blowing in the wind behind her. She started to yell for him. "John, don't go ditching me!" she said laughing while joking around. She came up beside him and asked him "So are there any hotels around here?". "I'm going to be staying here for a while" she said smiling. John was being quiet, it wasn't like him she thought. Was he turning even more into the doctor? "John are you alright?" she asked him keeping up with him.

John looked over at her with a face that showed that something was taken from him. But he smiled it away "All the hotel's kinda suck, you should stay with me. Of course if that's ok with you." he said while laughing a little. He looked forward where they were only a few more blocks away from his flat.

Now tired but happy, Rose went to check out the latest anomaly. Thankfully it was just a couple of lost Butterfly People. She pointed them towards the nearest intergalactic highway which they were very thankful for.
"Miss Rose," one of them echoed, "we know of you. Legend speaks of a human girl who traveled with the Oncoming Storm and defeated the Dalek fleet single-handedly."
Rose blushed, "Yeah, that was bit was exaggerated."
"No miss Rose. Our world knows, your love subdued and wielded the Time Vortex itself."
This time her blush became a beet red. "Yes, right well... thank you for that, it's only slightly embarrassing."
She waved them off and shook her head. Great, now EVERYONE in the universe knew she had a crush on the Doctor. She laughed at the absurdity that was her life as she retrieved her duffel bag. At least in this Universe, the Doctor was her friend...even if they'd had a difference of opinion. Still, it was nothing a plate of stuffed banana cream waffles for breakfast couldn't cure.
"I could paint the TARDIS hot pink and he'd wouldn't care as long as I waved banana-cream something in front of him..." she chuckled to herself.

Blake sped down the streets via skateboard. He spotted Amy and The Doctor across the street. He swiveled and kicked off the sidewalk effortlessly and smoothly. When he got across the road, he ollied over the curb, landing in front of the two.

Amy listened to John, smiling. She frowned when she saw his face, it looked like he had lost something. She instantly felt sorry for wishing him away. "Okay, I'll stay with you" she said smiling. Great she could watch out for john longer. She smiled while following him. She almost tripped over blake who just landed straight in front of him but she stopped just in time. Who was he? Oh yeah he was that guy who handed her some of her stuff back. "Ello" she said glancing at him. She wondered what he wanted. Maybe he was a companion? Who knew?
(it's okay, maybe amy will earn her trust towards the doctor back lol jk.)

"Hullo. Sorry to intercept you so abruptly. But I've got summat here..." Blake took his bag off and rummaged around in it. He pulled out a few sheets of paper with seemingly indecipherable symbols all over them. He quickly shoved them back in the bag and continued searching. He finally found what he was looking for and withdrew it. "You didn't get this when your bag spilled." he said quickly as he handed over an envelope with her name written in graffiti style lettering on it.

[got bored... wrote an essay... sweatdrop ]
The rest of the afternoon Rose busied herself by buying groceries and few extra sets of clothes. The Tardis would be her 'flat' so to speak and so all she really needed was conjuring enough cash to keep herself fed and that was easily done.
Fifteen minutes with her Omni-Scanner had been enough to create a bank account and fill it with cash. It was a lot better than working in a shop that's for sure. And now to make John's life just a tad easier. She dialed the Royal Shakespeare Theater.
"Hello, is this the management office? Yes, my name is Lady Rose of Powell Estate," she grinned wryly as she wandered towards the empty theater and walked up the front steps, "I'm calling about your lead actor, John Smith... Actually, I think he's quite good. He was with me this afternoon and I was most impressed."
"Yes well good for you miss! If you see the scrawny git you can tell him his talentless arse is fired!" a voice replied from the far office. "I've had it with his constant excuses! Roland has been vying for the role and it's his now!"
Rose walked past the thin-lipped secretary and pushed open the office door.
"Miss you can't go in there-" the small woman squeaked but Rose wasn't listening. She stared at the producer straight in the eye and smiled knowingly.
"No Mister Brighton, John isn't fired in fact..." she tossed him a check and then idly began removing her gloves a finger at a time, "I think you should give him a raise..."
"Is this a joke?" the man snorted furrowing his brow as he picked up the check and eyed the large number incredulously. "Who are you?"
"Does it look like I'm joking? I'm simply a patron of the arts," she smiled quietly, "John Smith saved my life today, and I would not dare insult him by offering him money. So you see Mister Brighton, consider this a contribution to your theatrical department."
The pudgy old man blinked owlishly as he glanced from his secretary to the young blonde in his office.
"Clara please... verify this check with the bank."
A few moments later the stunned woman returned and handed him the check. "It's good Mister Brighton... all 4 million of it..."
He smiled and it seemed as if he were about to burst into song right then and there.
"Quite right! Wonderful chap ol' John Smith!" he laughed merrily snatching the check and placing it in his coat pocket, "He just doesn't have the motivation, the set's a wreck, poor bloke can't get into character with ratty ol' props and costumes."
"Perhaps it's time for new equipment..." Rose mused it never failed to amaze her what a little money could accomplish.
"Yes! Of course, it... it will take a little time, but not to worry, we'll get good ol' John some back-pay to tide him over until production starts, say... 10,000?" he beamed.
"Yes Mister Brighton, 80,000 does sound like a generous enough offer," she stated glancing at him impassively.
"Ah, yes, of course, I meant 80,000, I'll deposit the money for him right away."
"Thank you Mister Brighton, it was a pleasure meeting you."
"Oh yes! You too ma'am! Come back any time!"
Rose absently waved as she left the theater. The Doctor was always good at making one's day brighter with the smallest of gestures... guess it was Rose's turn to cheer him up. With a new skip to her step she whistled all the way to the Tardis.
As soon as Rose had left Mister Brighton dialed John's home number. The answering machine soon picked up.
"John! John me old mate! Out on the town eh? Haha! Well I don't blame ya, wonderful night for it," he replied in an kind tone that somehow didn't seem to fit, "listen, your lady friend stopped by and explained everything. She also gave us a little something on the side to show her appreciation! Long story short, we're getting a new set, props, lights the WHOLE SHEBANG! We'll have to postpone the production for a few weeks but don't worry I'm wiring 80k into your account tonight it'll tide you over til we start. Gotta run you ol' rascal! Stay fabulous!"

John stared at Blake with a confused expression. Why was this kid just stopping in front of them. And acting all nice to Amy. He looked over at Amy who also din't seem to understand. "Um, who are you?" he said finally to the boy.

Blake paused and looked at John. "Er... I'm Blake. Out of Scotland." he said, swallowing just before he told them his name. "I was at the cafe." He starred into John's eyes, hopeful he would remember soon.

"Oh, thanks" she said as she took the envelope. It was the envelope from the doctor. She didn't want to loose that, it was like her only thing she had of his right now. Well other than his body, but that was different... She glanced at Blake finnally realizing that he was a companion too. "Hi blake" she said smiling knowingly. "Thanks for helping me with my mess at the cafe, I'm a klutz" she said joking around. She glanced at Blake, it seemed that they had a few more companions than she thought. Were there any more? Who knew?
