MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. Macideus and Tackeron both made their way to Saya from opposite directions as soon as she fell. Tackeron was the first of the pair to reach her. Unsure of what to do all he did was talk and see if he could snap her out of it with words. Naturally a few whipers worked their way around the class that had begun to crowd."Such a drama queen." "Why is Tack helping her, didn't she just try to kidnap him?" "Alright class that is enough."Macideus said putting a stop to the whisperings of the class. He knelt down beside Tackeron and Saya and using his telepathy tried reaching out to see what was wrong with Saya since she didn't seem to be hearing Tackeron. However when he tried this he recoiled his mind quickly at the sudden and extrodinary pain she was in. They needed to act quickly. He couldn't risk carrying her to the medical offices until they knew whaat was happening."Eric, go and get the nurse, now!"Eric was the student closest to the door at the time and with a quick nod of his head he spun around and was out the door gone after a nurse."What is wrong with her?""If I knew that I wouldn't need the school nurse now would I?"Tackeron shook his head solomnly in understanding.

Din had slowly taken his place after his brief lecture, much briefer than he thought it would end up being. He'd gotten ahead of himself stabbing the ground like that, and hadn't thought of Mickey's reaction until Tack brought it up. No sooner had he readied his own pole arm, when he heard the one beside him clatter to the floor. "Saya?"He looked down at the girl beside him in surprise, somewhat dazed as other students crowded around and put distance between them. She'd been fine all day, the sudden collapse had literally no warning. He tossed his own weapon aside and tried to get a better view on her. It wasn't until he heard the word 'nurse' that reality seemed to catch back up to him. "Screw the nurse, she needs help. Move," he said sternly, as he started shoving his way back into the group of students, pushing harder and faster as he got closer to the girl."I said move! Move, move, move! Are you a healer? No! Move! He impatiently shoved the last student clean out of the crowd as he knelt down beside her with the teacher and Tack."Sorry, won't wait for a nurse." he said, though he didn't seem to direct it to anyone in particular. He shut his eyes and began to focus as he muttered ancient words under his breath, in his natural elvish tongue, in a soft tone, gentler than he ever spoke. As he chanted quietly, he moved his hands in slow circulations in front of him until a blue glow grew from his wrist to his fingertips. He kept his breath slow and his mind focused as he brought his hands to her temples. He could heal himself all day, he'd been doing it since he could talk. You didn't grow up in a wood elf clan and not learn to heal. But he hadn't done much extensive work on other people before coming to the school. He could heal minor wounds pretty easily, but whatever was plaguing Saya needed his full concentration, especially if it wasn't a physical injury.
He focused and waited and focused some more but something didn't feel right. When healing, you became in tune with that magic flow, you could feel it working and moving, like using your own fingers, it was one way healers mended problems they couldn't see. But he couldn't feel anything mend, couldn't find a true 'break'. "I...somethin's wrong. I mean more than the obvious." He opened his eyes back up but kept his focus on the girl, trying to talk slow enough not to lose his concentration, "When someone's hurt, their spirit is suppose' t' single the problem out, it's how we direct the magic-flow. But I can't find it, her body's not treatin it like an alien injury, it's actin like nothin's wrong. All the same, I'm not moving. He shut his eyes again and hoped that Macideus would accept that declaration. Wrinkling his brow, he touched Saya's temples lightly with two fingers. He couldn't feel the magic working, which probably meant it wasn't, but he didn't plan to stop trying until a nurse pushed him away.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] No words could reach Saya. Her ears fell deaf to the outside world. At first, there was a light, incoherent mumbling from Tackeron's voice as it tried to pass in front of the rumbling that exploded out from her vision. It drowned out the sound of his voice, even though she had hardly been able to hear it from the beginning, and overtook her as noise only she could hear. It felt like she was being torn away from the world she knew and tossed into a torturous limbo, where she tried desperately to deny the scene that was replacing her former classroom surroundings. There was a light prodding at her mind, which felt like a heavy below rather than being something the sense could not pick up normally. It quickly retreated away at the backlash her minds current state inflicted on the person in response, leaving her utterly alone again. Din's magic was rejected much like her professor's, but without the painful counter attack, as her body deemed his aide unnecessary. Nothing was getting through to her. It was as if steel-plated walls shot up around her, encasing her body in an anti-protective shell that kept all raging chaos inside of it and kept any form of help at arm's length.
Saya stared ahead of her, the throbbing beginning to dull down gradually. Her arms dropped back to her sides as this happened, no longer consumed by the need to clutch at her skin and hair in an attempt to distract herself from the feeling that her head was about to explode. Her eyes did not change. That is, they were still alarmingly lifeless and drained of natural color. Oblivious to this, she was beginning to think that the episode had passed. The excruciating pain was gone, and with it her tears stopped falling. This fantasy did not last, however. There was no way it was over and done with. Instead of seeing a training room and a cross between concerned, annoyed, and curious students, she was outside. There was miles of healthy, well cut grass, a sight that marked the fields around Farvardin Aegle Academy. Behind her were four familiar but separate buildings: the Amparo Edifice, the Azubike Dormitory, the Philomena Dormitory, and Osamu Hall. This was unmistakably the Academy campus. But why was she outside of it?
Her thoughts were interrupted by a series of terrifying noises in the background. While Saya had half expected something to emerge from the trees, she heard what could only be described as an explosion. There was a rumbling, like what she had heard earlier, accompanying the throbbing pain, but somewhat distant this time. When she whipped around to find the source, she found a crowd of students and staff alike escaping the main educational building, screaming as they began to drown in their fear. Some where injured; it was anything from missing limbs to deep cuts. It all summed up to blood everywhere. The girl covered her mouth, turning pale at the sight of a young man falling to his knees near her, overtaken by shock as he clutched hopelessly at the spot near his shoulder where his arm should have been hanging, shrieking for help as precious crimson liquid spill out onto the green grass, staining it with bloodshed. This was only one example of the turmoil erupting all around Saya, seemingly out of nowhere.
She tried to find the source of the loud eruption she heard either and found that the side of the Amparo Edifice was crumbling. Greedy flames filled the inside, where the lack of an outer wall revealed ruins and what was most likely dead bodies, laying limp amongst the raging fire. Stone and brick crumbled away, falling to the ground below and crushing those who could not escape it in time. A huge hole was left in the side of the building as the effected area finished falling to pieces, the rest of the architecture currently holding up. Ominous figures swarmed out of this unharmed, leaping from the fire and landing atop rubble before proceeding to attacking however was foolish enough to be so close to the wreckage. There was fighting everywhere. What Saya assumed where enemies of the school and the source of the cruel, unwarranted, and sudden attack were unleashing unjust punishments upon any innocent person they could find.
There was shouting. Macideus. Saya turned to the sound of the voice, finding the man covered in blood as he swung a weapon around with precise aim and skill, keeping figures that seemed entertained by the death all around them at bay. He was protecting a small group of students, which was split between those who cowered and those who fought their fear in order to help, shooting spells out as Macideus swung his mighty weapon about. There were shadows from large masses in the sky, enveloping much of the field, as quick thinking students who took the forms of dragons rained fire on the enemies and dove down to pick up those who were distracted or unprepared to counter the flying beasts. Tackeron must have been among them.
'Where's Din?" To the class she left behind, Saya must have sounded mad, panicking as she looked desperately around to find a boy that stood right in front of her. There. Directly ahead of, stumbling away from the burning building, the fire having spread to encompass almost all of it now. There was someone behind him wielding a long blade, tearing a dagger from his arm with an expression of undisguised rage. They were shouting back and forth, but amongst all the noise around her, it was impossible to make it all out. The girl took a step forward, thinking only that she had to help him, when students ran in front of, blocking her path and her view. When they had passed, the sight before her robbed Saya of her breathe. The elf was still there, but the man was directly in front of him now. "What. . ." The long blade was in back of him, soaked in blood and protruding from the student's back. It was torn back and away from him then by one of the enemies, leaving Din's body to fall unsupported to the ground, sputtering more blood from his mouth. His figure became still in a matter of minutes, lying there in a pool of crimson. Everyone was fighting for their lives, consumed by their own battles, and no one could attend to the elf in time. The sight of this cruel death, not just of some stranger but of someone Saya knew, someone she had to fight to keep at arm's length so as not to become too attached to their friendship, was gone. This was all she could take. The girl screamed, shutting her eyes, unable to tell herself this wasn't real when she could smell and carnage, and burning wood and flesh, and the iron from too much spilled blood. She could hear the cries and shrieks everywhere, the sadistic laughs, the rumbling that announced more destruction inflicted on the buildings themselves.
And just like the room had faded away, now the all too vivid scene did, returning her back to the training room. When she opened her eyes again, startled by the loss of all those sounds and the heat of the fire, she found Din hovering over her. Behind him were more students, including Tackeron, and their professor. Not remembering when she had fallen to the floor, she reached up, her arm trembling. Placing her hand on Din's chest, she expected to find a remnant of the injury, a hole, or perhaps blood that she couldn't see. "You. . ." Tears were streaming down her face again, more violently this time. Saya sat up suddenly, grabbing onto the elf and burying her face in his shoulder as she burst into sobs. She might have expected him to disappear at any moment. If she was trying to explain herself, it was impossible to understand. Only fragments of what she was saying made any sense. "Dead. . .you. . .blood. . .sword. . ." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? Din recoiled in surprise when the girl broke from her insanity. The blue light that flowed over his hands fell away like a splash of water, leaving his hands and hitting the ground before dissolving into small glitters of light. He looked from Macideus to Tackeron with a cocked eyebrow as the girl touched his chest, as thought she were feeling for something before she launched forward to latch onto him. Unable to get his arms up in time, Din became rigid in her embrace, looking from the girl to the class and back several times, struggling to make words."Suppose you're not done being crazy yet, then? What are you dong?" He let the girl rest on his shoulder a moment, looking around the class awkward as he sat completely still, barely able to comprehend her words. "Ok, ok, well that's enough of that, don't ya think? he said finally, moving the girl off of him gently, "What on earth are you talking about? I'm right here. Besides, who could kill me? his cocky grin returned to his face for only a moment before he looked back up at the class, "Which remind me. Breathe a word about this, an' I'll kill ya slow." He couldn't imagine what was making Saya act so strangely, but she'd just come out of a full breakdown, he doubted she could really be held accountable for anything she did or said at the moment."Wha'ever's wrong, I swear I didn't do it.He said, turning to Macideus and putting his hands up defensively. Healing could only fix the brokenness in someone, it certainly didn't allow him to get inside her head and cause accidental damage."Though I am curious as to wha' you think you saw." He muttered once more, possibly at Saya, but mostly just under his breath.

MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. Tackeron decided to answer the boy's overconfidence about being killed with cold hard facts. As a kind of joke, the kind of joke boys make."Who could kill you? If I had to guess I would say someone with a sword."The words that escaped him had only the slightest hint of maliciousness in them and Tackeron caught on to that immeditaly silencing himself."What the heck was that for?"He pondered to himself. Macideus on the other hand let out an amused chuckle at Dinn's immediate defense. Yeah the boy had been trouble today but it was pretty obvious that Macideus didn't think it was him. He also decided to stay out of Saya's head. He could have probed for information but he figured Saya wouldn't like that too much, and even though she was more or less a delinquent she was still a sentient being and allowed some privacy. So instead of probes he they would do things the old fashioned way, talking, and lot's of it."No mister Windsetter, I doubt you would do such a thing to your own friend. Class is dissmissed, same time tomorrow guys come straight here. Mister Windsetter, Mister McCallen, Miss Saya you will stay here.""Are you seriously still giving us detention?""Just you Mister McCallen. I think that mister Windsetter and Miss Tennyson will be ocupied with the school nurse."As if called by some force in came the student and the nurse. She rushed over to Saya and began all the standard checks.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Leaving Din's sleeve relatively soaked in her tears, the girl began the slow process of gaining back some composure. Her heavy sobs were turning back to silent crying, which was less violent in its nature this time. Eventually the well dried up and she sat there with tear-stained cheeks, trying desperately to calm herself. It had not happened, not really, and not yet. The future was always changing. Nothing was set in stone. Her gift was prone to error, like anything else. Din was alive and whole. Tackeron was not throwing himself to danger from the skies. Macideus was not barely keeping death at bay with his pol-arm. There was no student with a missing arm. Nothing was crumbling apart from a powerful attack, and no fire resulted from it. This was a training room where she had class with a professor she frequently argued with, a boy who ruined her plans and earned the honor of her wrath, and an elf who she had tried her hardest to keep at arm's length so that his friendship would not become precious and wind up hurting them both.
When the young lady regained her senses, she was instantly hurt by her fellow student's careless words. "I am not crazy!" Her hands had fallen onto her lap, where they now clenched together and took up fistfuls of the material making up her clothing. Her voice had been strong, more like the usual Saya, but after her declaration she turned to stare at her lap with a tortured expression, which was not so like her. "You don't know anything." She muttered, irritated but unable to express it in her current state. "You know nothing of the strong smell of iron on the wind from too much split blood, of the horrifying screams of the dying and those that have already lost someone dear. The terror and the tragedy of it. . .I am NOT crazy. There is just a limit. . .to what I can stand." She struggled to explain herself, the fresh images in her mind nothing but a burden now. If she could erase them entirely, she would. Saya loathed her gift will all of her being at that moment. Why did she have to inherit it? Why couldn't someone else have seen that horrid mess in her stead? It wasn't fair. The worst thing about the nightmare was that it could not be brushed aside as the vivid vision of a crazy person having a fit. Saya was born with precognition and clairvoyance. What she saw might happen one day and thus becoming a living hell.
When Tackeron made a biting joke in response to Din's overconfidence, the girl's head snapped toward her. Her eyes went wide in fear, as if expecting him to transform into the future murderer and summon the long blade that spelled the elf's permanent downfall. For a few seconds she said nothing, frozen by the badly chosen words. Tears pricked at her eyes again than, and before she knew it, she was crying again, unable to hold up the flood gates. "That's not. . .it isn't funny. . ." This was all so frustrating. Despair still filled her to the brim, and she hated that she looked weak and crazy and fragile. She cursed it with all her being. Saya's anger was re-inspired by this and her reckless nature was awakened.
"You were run through with a blade by a man I never saw before. There was so much blood. . .and you fell. And then you weren't moving anymore. You weren't the first to die, or the last, but I saw it and it was horrible." Stray tears found a way to sneak past her defenses at this. Saya fought to be tough, to say it all in a detached way, but she could not. "I forbid you to die, Din. It is too unbearable." Her voice shook at this. "I don't care if you think I am insane. But I mean it. You can't die. I won't let you." It was than that, wounded by the harsh words around her and everything she had been forced to witness, she pushed the nurse away from her and tried to stand. "It was only a vision; I'm fine, physically." Saya protested, trying to keep balance only standing. "I don't want to talk here." Truth be told, she didn't want to talk at all. The only person present that could immediately know of her abilities and what that meant regarding the vision would be Macideus. She didn't want to sit in front of Din's judging eyes and allowing Tackerson to see her so broken any longer was torture. So she took a step forward, attempting to walk away, but her leg failed her immediately and she began again to fall, too weak yet. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. Macideus leaned forward and caught Saya before she hit the ground and pulled her back onto her feet. He waved the nurse away, apparently Saya didn't need her help. He helped her over to the door ignoring Tackeron's scathing comment to Din. He had Saya propped up with her arm over his shoulder."Even if you don't need a nurse you do need rest miss Tennyson. Some time to clear your head will do you some good. No detention today for you miss Tennyson. Mister Windsetter I will return to give you your three minutes, stay here until then."Assuming Saya allowed him to guide her away from there he would then take her to her room, if not then he jwould allow her to sit and would begin the detentions with Tackeron and Din. Tackeron on the other hand had taken up his lucern hammer half-heartedly and was already swinging some of the practice exercises that he figured Macideus would give him."What the heck was I so cold for? That was stupid, stupid..."Tackeron repeated the word in his head as he practiced each swing or thrust. He puzzled over why he had been so cold to Din. It wasn't like he had an issue with the guy after all and yet he was still cold to him and on top of that had offended Saya. The end of the hammer was slowly heating up without him noticing it.

The wood elf's muscles visibly tensed at Tackeron's comment. Din was cocky, even he himself knew how he came off. But even knowing himself, the words hit his ears as a challenge and an insult. Din liked to fight too much for his own good, most of the time he went out of his way to get into them, just for the thrill of fighting, whether he'd win or not. To someone who fought for fun, challenges were all the more tempting of an offer, but Din tried to fight for just that: fun. When he started lashing out from anger or baiting, the fight lost its thrill, its entertainment. But that certainly didn't mean he was one to back down.
He let out a rough sigh, closed his eyes a moment and forced himself to release his irritation. The dragon wasn't important to him right now, just his friend's state of mind. He sat and listened to her try to explain things, but still couldn't wrap his mind around it. Naturally in the world of magical creatures, seers weren't unheard of, but Saya certainly never struck him as one, and he'd never realized the visions were so dramatic, he'd always imagined future sight as a calmer experience. But whatever she saw, there was no doubting it was real to her. Somehow she had just watched people die, as if it were happening right in front of her. It was something he couldn't imagine, and greatly hoped was wrong. A strange tension made him feel like something was prodding his chest as she explained. Mere paranoia, but it made him uncomfortable all the same.
He simply sat quietly as she finished her story, unable to come up with a true answer, even as the nurse left and Macideus helped Saya away. Oddly, Fyordnn didn't even have anything to say when his detention was reinstated. He just sat for a moment staring at the ground, confused. "Saya..." he muttered to himself, still concerned for the girl. After a moment he sighed and looked at the door, "I do promise. With a deep breath he stood and composed himself, trying to get back into his own head. He leaned against the wall and watched Tack swing the hammer about, his face devoid of expression. After a short time, he noticed the weight on the hammer changing in color. 'Looks like something's under the lizard's skin too...' To pass the time, he pulled one of his throwing knives out of his pocket and twirled it in his fingers idly. "You know that's starting to turn red, right?" he finally said, unable to stand being quiet any longer,"Somethin you want to say to me? Sound a lit'le tee'd"

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] "Thank you. . ." There was nothing else to say then, and while Saya did not like having to show that professor in particular any appreciation whatsoever, she knew that if he did not step in she would have gained another bruise or so hitting the floor. She was in no position to reject any helpful hands tossed in her direction. Part of her felt guilty, for saying all she had to Din and then retreating away, but she didn't want to be in that training room any longer. That vision had been the most draining of any she ever had, probably because she was not sleeping when she had it and it had involved so much in such a short amount of time. It left her feeling weary already, and the emotional after-effects did not help. Crying to the extent that she had burned through whatever extra energy the girl stored after a long night of sleep, too. Saya leaned on Macideus as little as possible for as long as she could stand, but she did not reject his kindness or push him away. She could not argue with him - rest would be a blessing. Without his arm, she feared she would crumble. Later she would need to apologize to everyone, the whole class really, for making that scene. . . And then there was the matter of the three who stayed behind with her, one of which was leading her along toward the dorm she shared with him in Osamu Hall. . .
The closer they got to the room, the more frequently Saya stumbled and tripped, despite her having to lean more and more heavily (literally) on her professor. She mumbled a few apologies, at the same time silently vowing that she would never permit herself to act so weakly again. It wasn't until they reached the dorm that she realized along with allowing herself some much needed rest and time to gather her thoughts, sharing the experience would count as venting and might do some good. Saya was sure the two back at the training room would not complain if there detention was put on hold just a little longer, and with that fault she was sure she should speak with Macideus. They butted heads plenty, but he had wisdom she did not, and a knack with people that made him suitable as an educator in the first place. If she were to tell anyone the full truth, the best person to confide it might very well be this man. At the very least, he would not judge her and accuse her of insanity; Din's unintentionally insensitive words still stung and she did not think she could bear the accusation a second time, and certainly not from someone she lived with now.
"Could you. . .could you stay a moment?" Saya asked the man supporting her hesitantly once inside. "I don't think I'm ready to be alone just yet. I can talk about it, I think. I'll try." She hoped the bargain would be accepted, but suspecting he might hold it off and merely assure her she would be fine before leaving, she continued speaking to keep Macideus around. "I can hardly remember so violent a vision before. My Sight usually kicks in while I am asleep, and not since I arrived here months ago." This deeply troubled her. "It felt like something was trying to block me." It was difficult to explain, so hopefully Macideus would understand. "I might as well have been forced through a wall, and then stuck inside it. When I emerged from that state and found myself right in the middle of the scene, it was as if I never met any resistance. My head went from feeling like it was about to explode, my body in so much pain it was unreal, to feeling perfectly fine."
Saya paused then, trying to compose her thoughts into a coherent order. Meeting barriers and fierce opposition to a vision she did not have the ability to stop was odd enough, but the sights she witnessed were far worse. "The entire Academy was under attack. I was out in the field when it started. You were fighting without pause, and I believe Tackeron was as well, but I couldn't be sure. All the salamanders seemed to have changed forms in order to be most useful in battle." Summarizing all she had witnessed seemed somehow insulting to everyone who had suffered individually within the vision. "So many people were injured, dying, and dead. . .the main building was ablaze. The side of it had been attacked somehow and it started there. It looked like some humongous beast had taken a bit out of the whole thing. The fire spread so quickly though. When I saw. . .what happened to Din. . .he had run outside and was waiting someone alone. They were arguing. I could not hear what about." Saya hid her face behind her hand. "There was so much blood. It was everywhere, Professor. And the screams. . ." The girl shook her head, trying to shake the haunting sights and sounds away. "I do not like being here, but I would never wish that unwarranted cruelty on a sole person attending this Academy, nor do I wish to see it fall in chaotic battle." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? MacideusNo one ever calls him Micky D's to his face. Macideus listened to Saya as he guided her to her bed and set her down there. He then pulled up a chair to listen to her story. Precognition had always been odd even to him however since it was more or less a kind of telepathy he wasn't about to doubt it. He could have left, he could have sent someone else to listen to her and he was sure that Tackeron and Dinn were in less then good moods at the moment. He had heard the stab Tackeron made it the statement combined with Saya's vision worried him. The kid wasn't normally the violent type but then again he was still an adolescent. When Saya was done there was a moment of silence as Macideus took it all in."Well Saya, I am not exactly the kind of person who can help you with this but I assure you if there is a danger to the school me and the others will find out about it. If it puts your mind to ease I will share this with the headmistress and see what she has to say about it. In the mean time you should get some rest. Now that doesn't mean sleep since I am sure your not inclined to it right now but try to do something relaxing for a little bit on your own. I will be back later with my instrument and we can put together some music to play. I find that helps me to relax when I am stressed, actually that is part of why I teach music, it helps me to calm my nerves before I deal with our combat class. Needless to say it can be a bit trying. Now if you don't mind I have to make sure Mr. McCallen doesn't do anything foolish. he seemed a bit...put out if you ask me. Normally he is quite calm about everything but this time I am not so sure. until later Saya."Saya, unusually informal for Macideus. He knew what it felt like to not really have anyone you could talk to about your problems. He was glad that Saya had opened up to him this time around."Oh and Saya, I am glad you don't hate the school that much. Hopefully you may come to like it here as much as I do...or at least more then you do now anyways."He said with a chuckle as he closed the door gently behind him and made his way back to the classroom.

TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron only now noticed the heat radiating form the weapon. He sighed and held it at a relaxed position. He still didn't have an answer to his own question and it was frustrating him, so much so that even now the hammer went from red to bright yellow and soon began to drip. Eventually he took a deep breath and cooled his nerves and thankfully what was left of the weapon. it looked more like a steaming glob now more then any actual weapon. He set it on the stone floor and glared up at Dinn. The boy's words sounded more like a challenge to Tackeron more than anything else."I'm not tee'd, frustrated but not tee'd. However, you certainly sound like your itching for a fight. As for something to say, no not really, you?"This was his way of daring someone to keep walking down this path with him. Unlike Dinn who fought for fun Tack fought when someone or something bothered him or if something was on the line. He rarely lost to his opponents and despite his recent defeat at Saya's hands he was confident he could bring Dinn down. Unlike Dinn who had brought his weapons to class with him Tackeron was without armament. However for him this was just an opportunity to push his limits. He was more then happy to fight out his stress with Dinn. He figured he might even get a little fun out of it. He didn't drop into a fighting stance or anything he simply waited for Dinn's response which would undoubtedly be the start of said fight.

Din stopped twirling the knife suddenly and clenched his free hand. Someone who wanted to avoid confrontation didn't talk like that. Tack may have only been 'frustrated', but Din was fairly certain his choice of words were giving away an eagerness to fight. Under normal circumstances, that was exactly what he looked for to jump in head first."Well you've got me there, but don't take tha' too personally now, I always am." he answered with a slight laugh, smirking at the salamander. He had to admit he was curious, he'd never gotten to fight the boy, but he was aware he was known to be pretty capable, at least up until his defeat by Saya, something that Din couldn't really put against him for two reasons. Saya was a fireball, he never pegged her as a pushover, but besides that, flukes happened, one fight was never a proper measure of who was better.
By now he'd cooled down some, at least temper-wise. The situation had tensed everybody up, at the end of the day, Tack probably wasn't irritated with him directly. Or at least that logic calmed Din's nerve enough to get around his rule of not fighting angry. "Look if you wann'a spar, I'm game,"He kept smiling as he pushed off the wall and walked to the center of the room, putting the knife away, "But keep in mind the 'ol man won't like it. An' it wont exactly perk up the girl, either. His smirk grew with the last bit. If he'd pegged Tack's hot-button, pressing it was certainly in Din's character. It was all in good fun for him, though he probably would have done well to be more considerate of others before he spoke.
So, he began again, spreading his arms and nodding at his potential opponent,"Unless you have a sword handy I recommend an unarmed bout. Only person I'd wager can catch me with one of those giants is Mickey himself."

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Something like tremendous relief overcame Saya after Macideus spoke. He could warn everyone. It wasn't as if their fate was sealed. The future changed all the time. The tiniest little decision could create a domino effect in which one possible path closed itself off almost entirely, opening up a multitude of other options for future and what it held. She should know that better than anyone. Surely the prestigious school would not suffer such a grueling fate with a good heads-up. The young woman almost smiled. There couldn't possibly be so much destruction and death now, right? The staff here were not to underestimated, and without a well planned sneak attack they would be impossible to catch off guard. The headmistress and master wielded even more raw power. Their barriers kept this Academy's magic and oddities hidden from unwanted eyes, after all. Everything would be okay. Saya kept telling herself this, trying desperately to erase one image in particular from her mind. He would not die, he would not die, he would not die. . .
The young woman had to admit that music would be amazingly comforting as well. Her violin provided the perfect outlet for her remaining anxieties. Missing class today has been bad luck - it usually made her less temperamental to boot, and that might have spared her classmates some fear in the first half of their weapon's class. "That does sound relaxing, actually." Saya admitted, unable to reject the professor's offer because it rang so true. It wouldn't hurt to get along with him for one day, right? And she had silently vowed to lay low. The comments Macideus made in departure were less well received. "I hope I do not." She countered, her frown stern and set in determination. If she learned anything, it was that she already cared far too much for others (darn compassion) and that it would only make leaving this Academy more difficult than it had to be when it came down to her final escape. Din, especially, would have to put at more than arm's length for now on. This thought stung her somewhat. She had found a friend in the elf without realizing it, and shoving him away seemed cruel. On the other hand, maybe he would not notice it, or he would not concern himself with it. These thoughts only bothered her more and she cursed this, strengthening her resolve.
And there was one last thing that still bothered her. Tackeron had seemed good and annoyed when she left, and for reasons she was sure she would be unable to figure out (perhaps it was because he still had detention after all that?). Din was not the type to rush into battle out of rage, the complete opposite of Saya with her quick temper, rash actions, and general recklessness. However, he did appreciate a good fight. Because of this fact alone, she couldn't be entirely the two boys wouldn't do something foolish, as the professor who just left her suspected. Curiosity and nagging suspicion picked at the young woman more and more until she felt that she would go insane sitting around her and waiting for news of what happened. It was decided then. She'd have to go and see for herself, for the sake of preserving her sanity. It only made sense, right?
Saya found that Macideus and not locked her in and she was perfectly free to leave through the front door. It was strange, to be sneaking about without the goal of running as fast as she could from the Academy. She made her way downstairs and outside, noticing the professor still making his way over as well. She glanced about, remembered there was another set of doors leading into the school besides the main entrance, as to be expected. One of them, if she recalled from earlier explorations, led directly into a training room next to their own. With any luck it would be empty right now and she would find an unguarded door leading into the room beside it, that one being Macideus' private room of course. Set on her course, Saya broke into a shaky jog, her body still not fully recovered. Her steps became more steady as she went, and by the time she reached the side of the main building she felt as if her state of health had returned to normal. The girl slipped inside the first room, finding it perfectly and conveniently empty, before making her way over to the door nearly hidden in the corner. She pushed aside piles of boxes and empty metal stands to find it. The professors didn't want students creeping away, which explained why in this room it had been hidden. Macideus hardly had to worry about such things. His students respected him too much to sneak to this extra little doorway, or was that fear? Anyway, Saya opened this little door leading into the training room she had only recently left only slightly, peeking into the room to make sure the boys were not fighting. She felt little guilt "spying," what with how Tackerson had been acting earlier and with what she knew of Din. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? Your jury? // What's my offense this time? // You're not a judge but if you're gonna judge me Well, sentence me toanother life
Well, you treat me just like another stranger // Well, it's nice to meet you, sir // I guess I'll go, I best be on my way out
This is the BEST THING that could've happened // Any longer and I wouldn't have made it It's not a war, no, it's not a rapture // I'm just a person but you can't take it
The same TRICKS that, that once fooled me // They won't get you anywhere // I'm not the same kid from your memory Well, now I can fend for myself

TackeronMy friends call me Tack. Tackeron's fist clenched at Din's words. If there was a sound to describe striking a nerve it would be 'twick' if that sound was of a frequency that could be heard it would be heard by all like a yell. However he caught the scent of smoke rising from his hand which now held in it a little fire. He didn't puzzle at it long before speaking."No it wouldn't please her. But since she is mad at me, and Micky is giving me the same sentence as her anyways it can't hurt, now can it? Besides after losing to her I feel like I should start trying to re-establish my position. So unarmed combat sounds just fine. On your count Din."He said dropping into a lose fighting stance and englufing his hands in fire. His hands were brought up to close to his face but were just wide enough apart for him to see Din. His fists also were not completely clenched and his elbows were down. his back leg and foot were offset to one side and back from teh front foot. His knees were slightly bent as well. He glared at Din from behind his guard.
Macideus on the other hand had started whistling as he made his way to the building. He spotteed Erin and gave her a wave as he opened the door. He honestly felt that he had made some progress with Saya at last, either that or she had decided to lay low for a little while until the time was ripe. In either case he would need to be on his guard in the future. He then remembered that he hadn't locked her door. That was careless, he ran back to Osamu."I can't believe I forgot to lock the door. i hope she didn't take advantage of that."

Din shook his head as he returned the knife to it's proper place, grinning,"So you want t' recover from a loss...by fight'n me?"He quieted a small laugh and stepped closer, only glancing back at the door momentarily. Hopefully Macideus was still busy with Saya, he wasn't sure the teacher would be too cozy with them sparring, even without weapons." S' not what I'd call a good bet, but if that's what you want. So my count then?"He took his own stance, turning his right shoulder towards Takeron. His left hand came up in front of his face, while his right one formed a fist and crossed his body, leaving his elbow towards his opponent. "Ready," He began, though he was observing as the words came out. Tack had pulled out his fire magic, which meant that magic was fair game. That was a good thing, for him. Din was a good fighter, but if there was one thing he relied on, it was magic. He fought without the concern for safety that made some people cautious. That type of all out fighting worked for him, because his magic was always there to heal him after each strike. Some people called it reckless, but for him it was just strategy. Non-magic fighting was just plain irritating, as if he'd ever have to fight without his healing. "take set,"He slowed his breathing down and let himself slip into the world of the fight in front of him. Tack wasn't stupid, he'd have to give him that. The salamander had given him charge of setting them off. Problem with that was that in sparring, the first strike was almost always blocked, unless the opponent had a pathetic guard, which Tack did not. That high guard was good, it cut off blows to his head, and made torso shots way too easy to deflect. His legs were the only thing his flaming hands could reach immediately, but his footing would keep him from being put off balance from the front. The issue of having your first attack deflected was a small reason why Din preferred to taunt others into throwing the first blow. However, fights that ended early were entirely too boring."begin!"As soon as the word left his mouth, Din darted forward and down, to Tackeron's left. Based on the student's stance, his was right-side dominant, a bet Din hoped was right, sense people were often a split second slower on their off hand. He went low and swung his leg toward Tack's rear footing, shooting to knock part of his grounding away before he could counter. One way or another, he braced himself for a return strike, knowing that he'd feel one of those heated fists at some point.
