I saw that he was new on my roster. It's always a pleasure to meet another student. And thank you for your praise.
*I turn my attention back to Epic Buster.*
What an interesting career choice. I wish you well in it.
*I smile and pat the matches on the table*
The first lesson is transfiguring a match into a needle. You are free to leave when you have either completed the task or get too frustrated to continue. Although I hope it's the first of the two, no house points will be deducted for not completing the lesson so long as you have made a valiant attempt.

 Ah, hello Professor! Sorry I'm late, but I just signed up today. And...I signed up for this class firstly because it's required, but moreso because I've heard all about from my older siblings and being able to change the appearance of something just sounds so cool! I'm also considering becoming an Auror when I'm older.
*she looks at the matches on the table nervously*
I hope I can do this...

Welcome to the class Emiko. I saw that you were new on my roster so don't fret about losing house points. You'll find I'm rather understanding. An Auror is a wonderful aspiration, and I hope I can live up to your expectations based on your siblings experience.
When transfiguring an object, you must clearly see each step vividly in your mind, concentrating on the end result. If you don't get it on your first try, there is no reason to worry. I'm sure you'll master this in no time.

So sorry for my tardiness professor. *Looks curiously at the match, then rolls the head a bit under her finger* Hmm... *Taps match with her wand, then gives it a graceful wave* Oh. *Examines the match once more* Ah... *Taps the match three times and waves her wand in an intricate pattern directly above the head. Watches with wide eyes as her match flickers into a needle* Excellent!

"Now listen hear Azula, its against the rules to be wondering the castle a night. If I catch out out of bed, you will be in detention faster that you can say Quidditch, and if I catch you disguised as another student, you will be facing a much worse punishment. Hogwarts will not put up with that kind of behavior from its students".

Wonderful transfiguration Naomi. You must be rather advanced to not need to speak the spell. Five points to Gryfindor.
*I set a box of matches by Zella.*
Why not try turning matches into needles. That has been the first assignment I have given at this time.
*I walk over to the board and circles the word "Necessitaibus"*
The incantation is simple enough, but it's important to see the stages of the transfiguration, focusing mainly on what you wish to be the end result.
*Smiling, I walk over to Sayuki.*
I marvelous attempt. I'm sure you'll get it the next time around.
*At hearing Naomi's voice, I look and smile in her direction*
Once all the students have had an opportunity to work on transfiguring their matches, I will teach the counter measure.
