Dendera Eboni x x x Dendera just grinned as the boy's blush flared up even more, finding it to be all too amusing how often it seemed to happen around him. He was becoming more sure of the things he could do to cause it, with the more time he spent around Silas though he still wasn't quite sure why it was so simple for him. "You always get so red around me." he said quietly, raising a hand up to brush his thumb across the skin just beneath the mask that his friend wore. For once he wasn't just teasing, only mentioning the obvious, with a soft smile on his lips.
It seemed that Silas was turning him down, to which he just responded with a pout. He was becoming fairly used to the vaporeon stubbornly pushing away any affections that he offered but still, he would at least pout and look wounded to show his dissatisfaction. But when the umbreon heard a sigh he knew it, his friend cracked and Dendera became rather pleased with himself. "When do I ever tease you?" he responded with a wide grin, pleased to have his friend now gripping his hand.
He led the two of them out onto the dance-floor, where rapid and fun music was playing. But it seemed almost instantly when the two made their way into the dancing crowd that the song ended, and was replaced by a slow and sweet melody. His eyes widened just a bit, as he knew Silas was somehow going to blame him for that, and he just looked to the boy he'd led into the crowd and shook his head, to say that he had nothing to do with it - before Silas could even accuse him.
But before the vaporeon had the chance to scamper off, as the umbreon was sure he would do, he turned to face him and grabbed hold of his other hand. He pulled both of the boy's arms up around his neck, careful to make sure the cane didn't hit anyone but instead just rested against his back. He smiled to his companion as he pulled him closer, slipping his arms around his waist as they began to move with the slow beat. "Is this so horrible?" he asked softly, staring right down into those blue eyes in all seriousness.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" His blush got just a little bit worse at the man's words, before finally starting to fade off of his pale cheeks. The Vaporeon's eyes darted to his companion at his next words, frowning just a bit, stubbornly. "You tease me plenty," he replied somewhat flatly, eyes wandering off again as the Umbreon led him to the dance floor. He still wasn't used to walking in heels, but the more time he spent doing so the easier it was getting. Silas always tried to adapt to new situations quickly, and this was definitely a new situation. He didn't find himself tripping up as much as before, or losing his balance as easily, but his legs still refused to function perfectly and wobbled lightly, and he had to use Dendera's hand as some sort of support briefly.
Everything had been pretty tolerable until the two stepped into the dancing crowd, the music taking a drastic turn for the opposite of upbeat and lively. It changed to something slower, much slower, and the Vaporeon's eyes darted back to the man's face, trying to get across that it was his fault. Everything always changed when Silas was around the man, his behavior wasn't completely 'normal', strange situations found their way into his life, strange words and actions, and now even his greatest passion, music, had succumbed to it. He was just about to turn and attempt to walk straight out of the dancing area before his other hand was pulled, both being led up and around the back of the man's neck.
Silas's eyes went wide again, his body going more rigid than earlier at the arms around his waist, and that familiar blush quickly returned to his cheeks. 'Calm down, calm down-' he tried to think to himself, but those thoughts were cut off by the Umbreon's words. He opened his mouth to speak before his eyes met the man's red ones, his protests getting caught in his throat for a reason he couldn't understand or give a name to. His mouth closed after a moment, eyes still staring up into the alluring red ones, almost searching for some sort of answer he could give to Dendera's question, and his own questions.
"...I don't know anymore," he finally got out, voice a little quieter than usual. If it weren't for the mask on his face his once again confused expression would be clearly visible, and maybe even some of how flustered he was starting to feel again. The arms around his waist were comforting yet foreign to him, a strange feeling. His arms around the back of the man's neck felt out of place and awkward, but part of him didn't want to move them at all. His chest felt a little heavy, like something was weighing it down, a small pressure making just a bit hard to breathe. His body wanted to get away from Dendera's, his legs wanted to run, but couldn't bring itself to move to anything but the background beat of the music. Silas couldn't tell if he enjoyed it or hated it, if it really was 'horrible', or if it was pleasant. He couldn't make sense of anything and it only left him confused. 'What should I think of this, what do I think of this? How do I react? How do I want to react? I..I don't know,' he thought to himself, confusion filled eyes finally wandering off to the side.

Dendera Eboni x x x Dendera simply shook his head, seeing that fading blush, as Silas remarked about his teasing. 'Never enough apparently' he thought to himself with quite the pleased smile on his face. Because if he teased him 'enough' you would think that the vaporeon would become used to it. But no, the teasing still always rewarded the umbreon with those blushing cheeks, and he was actually quite fine with that, and would be happy if it could always be that way. He liked that he was able to affect his friend so much, after-all most people just got a stone cold wall from Silas. But Dendera got this.
He understood that the man was having a hard time in the heels, but maybe the slow song was a blessing in that sense - if the vaporeon lost his balance it would be perfectly fine for him to lean on Dendera or just use him to balance out. And if worst came to worse and he was falling, the umbreon would be right there to catch him. These were the reasons that he gave himself for him to enjoy the slow music but in all honesty he wasn't entirely sure why it pleased him. He generally tried to make logical reasons for things like this being enjoyable but really it was more like he just wanted to be close, feel the other man's arms around him without being pushed away. It was very nice and he just wanted things to be like this, without real logical reasons.
"You are so red again." he spoke very softly, tilting his head down closer to Silas's ear, holding him closer by his waist, and slowly turning them with the music. He wasn't sure what was going on in his companions head but it seemed like it must have been turned into a jumbled mess to have wrecked such havoc on his stubborn nature. The umbreon could feel his own heart knocking on his ribcage in the steadily quickening rhythm, it was something that he wasn't used to. He was used to always finding himself calm, even facing life-threatening danger, but apparently Silas was able to shake him, more than anything.
When he spoke again, his voice was very quiet, threatening to become silent, "Honestly, I'm glad that you're so stubborn," he spoke into the man's ear, not daring to look into those pretty blue eyes while he spoke - because he probably wouldn't finish if he did. "because if I saw anyone else this close to you, I would probably kill them."

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" As if on cue, his his cheeks got a little brighter at the man's words and the gentle pull of the arms around his waist. The proximity was almost too much for him to handle, but he couldn't bring himself to just push away and leave it. Part of him liked it, part of him still refused to like it. "It's your fault," he managed to mumble back, eyes still glancing off to the side. They wandered from a party goer to a pillar, to a wall, but weren't seeing any of it. Nothing stayed or registered in his mind, only the warmth he felt, the conflict racing in his own mind, the heat on his face, the arms around his waist, even the troubles with his heels were forgotten and it was a wonder he was able to move in them at all without thinking through the motions.
Silas's attention became acutely focused on the Umbreon's next words, having to almost strain himself a bit to even hear them over the music and the chatter of the other guests. But what he did hear surprised him, confused him, made his mind go blank for a moment from it all. Some of the words he'd heard before, 'kill', 'close', 'stubborn', he'd heard them said to him many times in many different situations. He'd even heard similar lines when overhearing tv shows or movies that his band mates forced him into or his 'parents' were watching. They were all simple things, but what shook him was that these words were meant for him, said to him. It took a moment for it to even register in his mind, to overcome the persistent state of surprise he was in. But when it did, the only thing his body could do at first was grip some of the back of the man's costume coat lightly, made difficult by the clawed gloves, but it was enough to be felt under the two layers of fabric.
"If anyone else got this close I'd kill them," his mouth replied before his brain could even catch up. When it did, his eyes went a bit wide once more, body just a little stiff, surprised at his own words. 'What the hell did I just say-?!' he thought to himself, cheeks heating up a little more from under the mask, 'I should be killing him for getting this close, but..I..' The Vaporeon's thoughts trailed off, trying to make sense of his own words, actions, strange things he was feeling. 'But I..I..' he thought again to himself, eyes finding their way to the familiar braided black hair in the side of his vision, eyebrows drawing together once more under the mask in confusion, 'I could kill him now if I wanted to, he wouldn't suspect a thing, I just...can't..? I could hate him for what he's doing, but I..I don't think I..'
Silas brought his arms down from behind the man's neck quickly, sliding his claw gloved hands down to Dendera's chest before pushing himself back enough to see the man's face. "I could kill you, I could hate you, so why don't I!? Why do I.." he said hushed but aloud for the Umbreon to hear, his eyes widened a little once more before darting to the side again quickly. '..why do I feel like I like this?' his thoughts finished his sentence, unable to look at the man.

Dendera Eboni x x x Dendera responded to the blame that he was given with a very simple smile and subdued voice, "Of course, that's why I like it so much." he admitted with a very soft laugh, hardly audible above the sound of the lovely melody that played through large speakers. He wasn't even sure that Silas could understand why he enjoyed to cause those his cheeks to light up, to be honest, he wasn't even sure if he understood it himself. But he was sure that it would spark his temper if he caught anyone else causing Silas to behave the way that he did around the umbreon. Was he possessive? Probably, though it was hard for him to articulate that feeling.
He could feel the grip tightening on the back of his costume and almost instinctively tightened his own hold around the man's waist, holding him close as he listened to his companion speak. Hearing his friend admit that actually made his skin feel very warm, alarmingly. He pressed his face against the vaporeon's shoulder - or the pit between his shoulder and neck, almost certain that he was actually the one blushing now though he probably wasn't half as red as Silas had been and most likely was now. "I know.." was all that he could manage to say, and really he wasn't used to being the one at a loss for words.
Before long though he felt hands on his chest, lightly pushing him away, so that now curious red eyes stared down into very perplexed blue ones. He was sure that neither of them had come to this party expecting any manner of conversation like this to take place, but perhaps it was well over-due. The vaporeon very rarely spoke about his feelings, and even more rarely spoke sincerely about them. And so moments like this when he could just look into honestly confused blue eyes didn't happen too often, at least he didn't think so.
There was a few moments in silence that the umbreon took to consider Silas's own confused words. He knew without a doubt that the boy cared about him, he had to otherwise Dendera wouldn't be able to get so close and tease him like he did. But he couldn't possibly know what questions were really taunting the vaporeon in that skull of his. "Do you have to have a reason?" he asked in response, and quickly when he saw his friend looking away he lifted a hand to cup his cheek, and turn him to face him again. "Why, when we talk like this..can't you look at me?" he asked softly, staring down at him.

x xI need serenity In a place where I can hide x x x Niemi pouted as he looked down at the ruined sweets. He heard a...giant panda, ok well that was weird, anyway he heard a giant panda say that there had been some sort of a mishap. He hoped that meant an accident and not someone purposefully destroying the holiday treats for everyone. "Aw." the seaking uttered, raising a painted hand delicately to his face.
But then turned his attention to the people that still stood around the table, the furry little critter having run off with another furry person (a cute little ferret girl). It seemed animals were popular this Halloween! However the most amusing had to be the giant fluffy panda. Honestly, the little kid in Niemi was just terribly tempted to give the panda a big hug. He could feel a light blush painting his cheeks at the thought and so he shoved it away.
It would probably seem very childish to do such, and the man beneath the costume had probably already gotten enough attention over his big furry outfit. He then heard a familiar voice and found that it came from a very tiny witch. "Rosie?" he asked with a smile, though after giving her a better look, he was quite certain that this was the girl he'd run into on an earlier hospital visit. "What a nice surprise." he added.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" The man's face so close to his own, how close their bodies were, the words he was hearing, the red eyes he was staring into, it was all becoming so overwhelming. The fact that they were in public had slipped from the foremost part of his concerns, worries. The bodies brushing against his back and sides he could no longer feel. Instead, the only things he could feel was the proximity, the firmness of Dendera's chest under his hands, the words he'd been told circling in his ears, his mind spinning as it tried to sort through and understand everything in a way that made sense to him. But none of it was working, he couldn't understand, it was too foreign to him, too strange, and part of him was purposefully shutting down, purposefully trying to avoid whatever it was that was building up inside of himself. But, it wouldn't be long before avoiding would no longer work, everything would spill over, it was just a matter of time and what would happen when it did.
The hand on his cheek pulled him out of his thoughts, silenced everything so that all he could hear was the Umbreon speaking. Even his own mind had abruptly gone silent, and for a moment all he could do was stare back into the red eyes that were staring at him. "I..I don't know," he managed quietly, "I can't think, I can't focus on anything else when-" Silas stopped dead in the middle of his words, the pressure in his chest almost aching, his heart racing. The Vaporeon almost felt like he'd realized something, but the idea had been so impossible since he could remember that he couldn't even begin to process it. It felt like he finally knew what he was feeling, yet still had no word for any of it. Part of him turned a blind eye to the words, but the emotions had won against his logic and left him frozen where he stood.
"Dendera.." he finally said slowly, quietly, almost carefully, though he couldn't help but notice now how different the man's name sounded when it came out of his mouth compared to his band mate's names, his 'acquaintance's' names', his 'parent's' names, "I..I need to go." Silas had wanted to ask him a question, any question that would confirm the arising suspicions he was starting to have, but he couldn't think of anything to ask, and the easiest, simplest, most obvious, maybe even the best question he couldn't even bring himself to fully think about or acknowledge. Instead, his eyes had turned downward from the man's before darting to the side, trying to slide out of the Umbreon's grip and at least get away from the dance floor. His legs were a little more wobbly than before, his mind in a slight state of shock, but for once and in an entirely new way, he felt like he had to get away from Dendera. Part of him didn't want to leave the man at all, the other part had gone almost completely numb.

Dendera Eboni x x x Dendera watched in silence as the building tension seemed to be working on the vaporeon's nerves, and in all honesty, it was picking away at the umbreon as well. He could still feel hands against his chest, and he was sure at this point that if his blushing cheeks hadn't become obvious that the heat of his skin would have, if Silas hadn't been wearing gloves to protect him from it. He let out a strained sigh as Silas finally spoke, the breaking of the silence breaking that locked hold that his companion's blue eyes seemed to have on his chest - it was like suddenly he could breath again after a long time of holding his breath, though he hadn't been holding it at all.
It was obvious in his voice, on his face, that it was difficult to even attempt an answer to the question, and Dendera didn't quite understand that the question had held any gravity at all, the second one anyway. It was something simple that he'd noticed when they talked, and wasn't sure what it meant. Really, he wasn't entirely sure what anything about their relationship meant. But he was at least sure of a few things about Silas, one being that he didn't want to be apart from him.
When he heard his name and just the way that the pause hit him, he just knew that it was something important that was on his friend's mind and he waited with what felt like stones in his stomach to hear what it was. But when the vaporeon spoke again, it was only to say that he was leaving and then he darted off. For a moment Dendera just stood, silently stunned and still feeling his heart wrecking havoc on his ribcage, he was frozen in place watching his companion making an escape.
When it all finally washed upon him, he pressed his face into his own cupped hands, pushing back his hair. It was a moment of silence to calm himself - to try to stop his chest from feeling like it was going to burst. Once he felt that he could breathe again he knew he had to stop Silas from running off, he wasn't going to let this be another of those conversations that the vaporeon tried to brush off and stubbornly ignore had happened. He would make him acknowledge what had happened, and then explain it to him. Because the umbreon was still needing to know, just what it was that was going on in Silas's mind.
It wasn't too hard to track him down in the crowd, he could get far in those steep heels. He had gotten away from the dance-floor and into a less crowded area, but didn't get to escape the party before being caught. The dark-skinned male reached out and grabbed hold of a gloved wrist, pulling his friend to face him and then grabbed both of his shoulders to hold him in place. "We can go.." he said quietly, softly, trying to comfort him from whatever fear had made him run, "..but I want to talk to you. I'm not letting you run away." he spoke in a quiet tone, but more firm now, showing that he wouldn't be budged on this - not this time.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" He managed to get past the borderline of the dance floor and into the lesser crowd, somehow, without being caught, pushing and shoving his way through the mass of dancing masks. The heels had returned to being just as difficult to walk in as they had been earlier, and he was about to stop and just pull them off before he felt a grip on one of his wrists and was quickly turned around to face the one person he was trying to get away from. His eyes went a bit wide again at finding himself in front of the Umbreon, staying still only long enough to hear what the man had to say. The Vaporeon quickly went from feeling like he had a chance at avoiding the issue to feeling like he had no choice to speak of, the man's voice taking on a familiar tone that he had become rather acquainted with hearing when Dendera wasn't in the mood to drop something.
"Let me go-!" he finally said aloud, setting his hands back onto the man's chest and pushing roughly while closing his eyes tightly, "I can't, not with you-! I should have said no from the beginning! I shouldn't have gone out that night! I..." One of his fists slammed a couple times on the man's chest before it finally rested, his attempts at the futile struggle gradually coming to a halt. '..I thought if I got away fast enough it would stop, but..' he thought to himself before speaking quietly, "..but it didn't..it's too late..and I...I can't.." Half of what he said only made sense to himself, the other halves of his words he kept in his head, away from the Umbreon. Part of him didn't want the man to understand what he felt, it didn't even want himself to understand it, but the emotions were too obvious, his actions were too desperate, and if not for the mask, his face would've given it away.
"What have you done to me.." he said quieter, finally opening his eyes a little but keeping them downward, focusing yet not focusing on the ground, 'it's too late to go back isn't it, unless I kill him or try to abandon this whole..ordeal..but..' he thought again, finishing his words aloud in almost a whisper, "..I can't." Silas's knees finally gave in to the pressure in his chest, the jumble in his mind, letting himself slip out of the man's grip once more. He welcomed the fall, and hated the fact that the hard floor made him stop on his knees and shins. He wanted to keep falling, away from the party, away from the laughter and music, away from the situation, his feelings, his thoughts, Dendera, the world, himself, but that was impossible and he could no longer run from any of it now that his ignorance was broken.
One of his hands found its way from the floor to the mask on his face, clawed fingers resting against it gently while keeping his eyes on the floor, letting them lose focus off and on. The mask was the only thing holding the last of his 'usual self' together, the only thing hiding his vulnerable and obvious expression. He wanted to rip it off yet keep it on as long as he could, keep that last barrier that 'protected' him from Dendera on, yet he was tired of keeping it up. Silas still couldn't look at the man, not now, everything came undone when he looked into the man's red eyes. They gripped him more than anything physical, more than hands, more than the harsh words he received for his cold behavior, even more than the blade that had once pierced the skin on his back. Those eyes were his undoing, and it was all too late for him to realize it.

Dendera Eboni x x x Dendera didn't budge as his friend threw a fit, like he knew he would once he caught him. He had come to learn that this vaporeon avoid facing feelings and being close to anyone, and that he could be violent when forced otherwise. But the umbreon was no beaten house-wife, he was a strong man and could handle letting his companion take out his frustrations on him. Really, the words hurt more than the little fist that beat on his chest. He stared in confusion now as Silas threw his tantrum, and asked quietly though not expecting an answer, "From the beginning? That night? Do you really regret meeting me..?" it was spoken softly.
But the rest of what his friend said as he drained his own energy didn't make much sense to the umbreon. He was beginning to realize that it was best to wait through this, and try to calm his dear companion down before trying to make sense of what he was saying. And so he fell silent, just listening and letting him get it all out until the boy fell to his knees. The darker male almost immediately followed suit, dropping down to his level and wrapping his arms around his shoulders.
"I don't know what's wrong," he whispered very softly, worried and concerned, and not really understanding what had caused Silas's legs to give out, "But I'm here, I'm always here." he attempted to reassure the man, running a hand lightly over his back as he tried to coax him into standing so that he could lead them outside, away from the crowd. "I want to help you with what's bothering you, but I can't if you won't let me." he whispered into his friend's ear, raising one hand up to run it through his soft blue hair.
He stayed like that for a few moments, just cradling the vaporeon, and running slender fingers through his hair, attempting to comfort him and rid him of whatever worry it was that had him so upset and made him run but he didn't know it's name. After a few moments, he led his companion to his feet, still holding him close, his arms tightly locked around Silas's shoulders. "Let me take you home with me, you can clear your head on the ride there, it'll be silent like usual," he started, giving him the offer that he hoped he would take, "And when we get there you can take your time, but I want to talk to you. You can't just run from me." his voice was still hushed but firm, as he made his suggestion.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Silas couldn't make his voice work, not yet, it was still paralyzed like most of his body. Part of him wanted to tell the man that he didn't regret meeting him, but another part blamed him for how he currently was, how his walls were breaking down to their final layer, but most of the blame was on himself. Out of everyone he could pin it on, it was obvious it was his own actions that had started his slow and gradual unraveling, and he had no one else to blame but himself, as much as he wanted to blame someone else. But he stayed quiet, listening to everything and nothing, but always focusing on Dendera, as he often subconsciously did when he was around the man.
The whispers were almost soothing, the touches calming, the words reassuring. Now that he was starting to approach his own defeat, more of himself was starting to realize how much he actually liked hearing and feeling those things. It was so different from what he'd known for so long, and similar to what he hadn't known in a long time, or thought he'd known, that it was almost surreal, yet he was calmed by them. He still had the need to fall, the urge to fade away, but the destination was starting to change, or maybe he was just realizing what he'd felt the tip of the night they met. It wasn't perfect, nor did he find it ideal, and he didn't want to make the man into an excuse or a tool for his own personal problems, but he was honestly starting to believe Dendera's spoken words and promises, and maybe..just maybe he really could let himself really listen to them, believe them, trust them. Maybe it was too soon, maybe it wasn't, he couldn't really tell.
Silas's attention returned enough to respond to the man's offer, it sounding far more appealing and familiar than sitting on a hard floor in a strange place with strangers watching his breakdown. So, after finally returning to his feet, he nodded a little after a moment, still keeping his eyes on everything but his companion. He needed a little more time to organize his thoughts and emotions, or at least try to, and their usual, silent drive sounded more than welcoming.
The Vaporeon moved over after a moment, his motions steady and calm, almost like his body was on autopilot. He walked over to the same pillar from before the dance and picked up his borrowed hat and cane, not bothering to put the hat back onto his head. Silas didn't wait or stop for anything after the short pause, heading straight for the door. His body was practically moving of its own accord while his mind was wrapped up in itself, and walking in heels had suddenly become a lot less difficult.

A r e t ☾ G a i s❝Paralyzed by fear & addiction, this is just my bittersweet end.❞ He couldn't help but chuckle as she danced, it was beginning to get a bit more fun now that she wasn't being such a timid mouse. Or atleast for the moment she wasn't. He could only hope the moment would last longer so as not to grow bored again. It seemed like it would be a reoccuring problem with her though. The thought quickly left as he fell into the music as the Sneasel did, continuing to do so while his eyes fell on a few others, one particularly being a pair of eyes he had up & left on the dance floor before. She didn't look at all pleased, but he simply smirked & looked gaining the sound of angry "hmph" from the girl & the loud clacking of her heels. It was a satisfying sound for some reason. It felt good to make her angry, & he'd felt like this quite a bit since Taro had taken away his drugs. It'd been hard to cope without them to feel the harsh realities boring tastes, smells & feelings. But as he went without he became addicted to other things, one of them being his bratty attitude & enjoying the outcome. Not so much with the Rattata, but everyone else. It entertained him so to say. In a sense the sweet Teddiursa that once was, had been flushed away with his drugs.
The song slowly came to an end & he slowled his dancing as the next song merged, panting a bit as he gave the Sneasel a weak smile, then looked around for a clock at the same time catching sight of two males leaving. Perhaps it was getting that time he'd leave too, the party wasn't really jumping, he didn't really know anyone interesting to get it there, & his mere definiation of a good party did include sexual behavior but his mental sticky note kept reminding him he had someone at home waiting for him. Finally his red eyes rested on a clock shaped like giant black spider, it reading the time almost 11:30. Taro would certainly be in bed by now, if not, still sulking which he hoped he wasn't. It really was a disturbing thought to think he was still there alone like that. Shaking his head, he switched his worried frown to a soft smile again. "Thirsty?" He asked a bit loudly to be heard, but didn't wait for an answer before turning & weaving through the bouncing, grinding crowd to head over to the punch he was sure was spike, but looked like the only refreshment still standing. Briefly he looked back to see if the Sneasel had followed then grabbed a cup & scooped some up into his cup, grabbing some sherbert with it that looked a bit grotesque with the other objects floating in the punch. Without really thinking about it though he downed the cup & released a satisfied sigh after, looking over at the others standing near the snack tables. One looked to be a merman, a very pretty one at that, the other was a cute looking witch, while there was another whom was still the same Panda guy he saw earlier. He had been right to think this party was lacking. Without saying anythign to any of them he cooped up another cup & sipped this one slowly, turning around to find the Sneasel.
(( If no one else is in terested in interacting with Choumo I'll just say she left at the same time as Zel. Also hailo, I'm starting to plot now > u > ))

She was having fun. And to think, she was going to sit at home and just study and read and possibly play some video games. Rather than coming out here. Zoey was filled with excitement and she felt relieved to take a break away from her studies. She smiled and continued to let the music take control of her small body. Making her hips sway and shake. Opening her large red eyes that laid behind her mask, she noticed Yeti was enjoying himself as well. Getting lost in the music. However, his eyes dwelled. She shrugged and just continued to dance. xxxxxZoey wore a happy smile as she continued to dance. The song slowed to an end and her dancing mellowed to nothingness. So she just stood there, looking to the Yeti. Who did the same. A new song burst out of the speakers, an electronic remix to Britney Spears' Toxic. She wasn't quite fond of the blond pop star. She was a horrible role model: due to her lack of thought on marriage and marrying 2-3 men. Her inappropriate dancing and lyrics. Her heavy partying. Her little show of shaving her head. Britney Spears was a little messed up. Zoey pitied her and her life. At least she was getting it back together.xxxxxZoey's smile warmed and sweetened, a little reply to his own smile, which was weak. Her eyes wandered, searching for a clock. She needed to know what time it was, so she could go home and go to sleep. She needed to get up early tomorrow. However, she couldn't seem to remember if tomorrow was a weekend or a weekday. Either way, she had to wake up early. For college or work. Zoey looked to Yeti. He looked a little worried as he shook his head. She looked to him curiously. But his worried look returned to his soft, warm smile, as did hers as she saw this. The sound of his voice, loud over the sound of the techno pop music, entered her ears. Asking her if she was thirsty. She nodded in reply. Her throat was a tad dry. Her crimson eyes watched him slip through the many dancing people. Slithering and slipping passed them. Quickly, she gathered her feet and scrambled after him. Reclaiming her balance as she did so. Once they reached the snack table, she looked over it with guilt. Ruining the sweets and treats. However, no one seemed to care and they ate it anyways. Zoey felt relief. xxxxxThe ferret girl watched the yeti boy reach for a cup with his large claws, and pouring some punch, most likely spiked, into the plastic cup. Her crimson eyes watched the ladle being moved slowly around the bowl and scooping up the colored liquid. Zoey couldn't tell it was spiked before, when she drank it. It felt like a little kick as it went down her throat. She had never tasted alcohol before, so that was the reason why she was clueless. Zoey reached for the ladle herself and did the same, scooping the liquid and transferring it from the punch bowl to her cup. She took her cup and raised it to her lips, sipping it. Allowing the spiked punch to slide down her throat. Zoey looked around. Noticing the panda again, a pretty male merman, a witch, and many other new characters in the party. She was getting the feeling that the party was beginning to dull and become lifeless. There were barely any activities other than dancing. It was somewhat boring to her. She turned to the Yeti and smiled, taking another sip of her punch.
